Gasthaus Schierer - Dirscherl in Cham

A quaint, traditional inn, just the way we like it. The full menu is available on Sunday afternoons, and they have some truly fantastic dishes. We'll definitely keep this in mind for our next visit to the Bavarian Forest.

Hi, so yesterday we had a very nice evening with four people. We mostly ordered Italian dishes, and the food was delicious. The waiters greeted us warmly at the entrance. It was also easy to have good conversations with them. We really liked the whole restaurant: nice decor, beautiful plates, and much more. I think the restaurant is very good, the food is delicious, and I recommend everyone try it.

I was in Cham from 2017-2021 and have been stationed there ever since. I've never seen such a good team hostel, regardless of service, offerings, taste, or hospitality, as Cham. If the man from back then is still running it, it's always worth a visit. I've also never seen a team hostel with such great value for money. Absolutely 10/10. The Bundeswehr should copy this team hostel at every base, ideally including the owner. Great memories!
