Gasthaus Sainer in Moosburg a.d.Isar

People who arrived after us received a welcome shot, but we didn't, and we weren't asked if we wanted one or if we were allowed one (due to our age). We were very surprised when we were asked for the size of our drinks. I prefer 0.4-0.5 liters without asking (a matter of taste). There were only four tables outside for 4-5 people each, and they were right on the street. When we made the reservation, they mentioned a garden. The fact that the ketchup was from Penny didn't reflect quality, nor did the still water come from a 1.5-liter PET bottle from the supermarket. Furthermore, the cordon bleu was very salty and therefore undrinkable. There was no apology for this.

A must-go. A truly exceptional location. A truly Italian ambiance, like an evening in Bella Italia. Fantastic food, far from the mainstream, surrounded by wine racks and Italian specialties. No menu, just a few select dishes on the blackboard. Great, professional service. A special location, not overpriced, yet offering a high standard, yet down-to-earth. We'll definitely be back.

The food is incredibly delicious. The service is pleasant, attentive, and the pick-up option is also wonderful. You should allow yourself some time, because as soon as you arrive at the restaurant, all the dishes are freshly prepared and are practically still hot when eaten. I love ordering from there...

I don't see a single fir tree; ten oleanders would be more appropriate. 😉 Everything is good, the food is good too; the outdoor area is very nice.
