Gasthaus Sainer in Moosburg a.d.Isar

A place that feels out of time... Maybe it was once good or a standard 20-30 years ago. Cheap and poorly prepared food/drinks. Free schnapps before and after. Greasy and unclean dishes, cutlery and glasses. Very, very rustic/run down place where everything smells like cold smoke. You have to have grown up with it otherwise it's just bad.

Definitely go. A very extraordinary location. Total Italian ambience like an evening in Bella Italia. Fantastic food far from the mainstream, surrounded by wine racks and Italian specialties. No menu, few selected dishes on the table in the restaurant. Great professional service. A special one location, not overpriced at a high level and still down to earth. We'll definitely come back.

Good Bavarian cuisine, reasonably priced. A lovely spot on the terrace in summer. The service is friendly and fast. Many local customers. Parking is available in front of the door, with a parking permit on weekdays.

2x venison goulash and 2 drinks. The service team was super friendly, the restaurant was clean and included a restroom. The food was delicious and fresh, and the portions were generous. The price/performance ratio was right. We'll be back. Family B.
