Gasthaus Sainer in Moosburg a.d.Isar

A place that feels out of time... Maybe it was once good or a standard 20-30 years ago. Cheap and poorly prepared food/drinks. Free schnapps before and after. Greasy and unclean dishes, cutlery and glasses. Very, very rustic/run down place where everything smells like cold smoke. You have to have grown up with it otherwise it's just bad.

Definitely go. A very extraordinary location. Total Italian ambience like an evening in Bella Italia. Fantastic food far from the mainstream, surrounded by wine racks and Italian specialties. No menu, few selected dishes on the table in the restaurant. Great professional service. A special one location, not overpriced at a high level and still down to earth. We'll definitely come back.

Great place to eat delicious dishes and of course to drink German beer!

We had dinner and breakfast at the Wochenblatt and were very satisfied both times. The friendly welcome and service, and of course the delicious food, were particularly noteworthy. For breakfast, we chose the "deluxe" set menu for two, which was a real treat. Even the presentation was wonderful.

Very cozy restaurant; we got a seat without having to make a reservation. Very friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. Parking available.
