Mönchberg Shooting Range - we took a bike trip to the Schönbuch forest and saw the sign by the road indicating that the shooting range was open. We spontaneously decided to stop for a break. The visit was definitely worthwhile... friendly welcome and service - and the food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. The view from the terrace overlooking the Gäu region was breathtaking. Check opening times online - the restaurant isn't always open - look for the QR code in the picture. We'll gladly come back again...

Unfortunately, the owner plans to retire. What a shame.
