Gasthaus Krone in Gaggenau

Currently only open on weekends due to staff shortages. Rooms are OK for the price.

What a wonderful surprise! We actually just wanted to go to the cinema in Gaggenau and have something to eat beforehand. That's how we ended up at the Krone. The best spaetzle I've ever had in a restaurant. We'll definitely be back.

Very friendly hosts and delicious German cuisine. We'd love to come back.

Were there today during our hike. According to Google Maps it should be open all day on Sunday. When we were there shortly after 2 p.m., we were told that it was closed from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., which was also stated outside the entrance. Dear Google people, please correct. The innkeeper came out and we told him that according to Google it must be open, which surprised him. A real innkeeper, with heart and mind, who immediately offered us something to drink, of course. We were invited in and had a really nice and relaxed conversation. We took our drinks, happy about the situation that we were able to get anything at all, and took a seat outside in the courtyard. After 5 minutes the landlord came out to us personally and surprised us with 2 beautifully decorated, homemade meatballs/meat patties. At this point I would like to praise the kitchen again - we have rarely eaten such delicious meat. We would love to come back, but this time with time and hunger. Such a long-established restaurant should/must be supported, unfortunately you don't find something like that that often anymore!!!! Thank you Gasthof zur Krone😁

Stopped in spontaneously on my motorcycle. Super friendly! Very tasty food with generous portions! And the price is reasonable! Unfortunately, I'm too far away, otherwise I'd be here more often.

Gutes Essen einen netten Biergarten . Einen guten Service. Nur das Dressing vom Beilagensalat war etwas sauer. Alles im allen empfehlenswert.

The owners are old people but they are kind and they to give the magazines and catalogs, keep asking whether there is any inconvenience. And intruded the copper cup with beer. So heavy and can't lift it up by one hand. So fun too. The food was also quite nice. 😋 a good experience in the restaurant.

Abbiamo cenato in questa accogliente Gasthaus. Ambiente famigliare e cordiale, i proprietari ci hanno trattato con simpatia e calore. Cordon bleu e birra, buoni e abbondanti. Consigliatissimo.

Nette und freundliche Gastgeber und Bedienung, gut bürgerliches Essen und ziviele Preise. Ich war vor ca. 30 Jahren dienstlich öfters dort gewesen, es hat sich nicht viel verändert, aber alles tippi toppi 👍👍

Haben dort essen bestellt und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Inhaber sind super nett und sehr höflich. Portionen üppig und preiswert. Sehr gerne wieder und nur empfehlenswert.

Ein Gasthaus mit familärem Charme. Sehr gute Badische Küche mit großer Auswahl und immer frisch zubereitet. Die Gastleute und das Personal, stets freundlich und aufmerksam. Schön dass es Euch gibt 👍

Sehr nettes Hotel, einfach aber sauber. Genug Parkplatz. Schöner Biergarten, Windstill deshalb kann man lange sitzen. Gutes bürgerliches Essen, nichts abgehobener aber gut und günstig. Bei der Weinauswahl wäre noch Luft nach oben.

In seiner Liga ein preiswerter, sehr familiär geführter Gasthof. Sehr freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereite Menschen. Für ein Wochenende oder eine Übernachtung sehr gut geeignet. Biergarten, kostenlose Parkplätze und eine gute Busverbindung inklusive.

Ein sehr gastfreundlicher Gasthof mit sehr gutem Essen. Das Rumpsteak ist sehr zu empfehlen. Komme gerne wieder.
