We were there for a birthday party and it was great! Service, ambience and food are simply great. The roulades that my parents had were generously filled and tasted great, and the portion with red cabbage and dumplings was a reasonable size. My menu, the baked potato filled with garlic quark, delicious spinach vegetables and the Argentinian rump steak fried to the minute, delicious. The Creme Bruleè at the end - simply sensational! Thank you for the excellent cuisine. We will stop by again on our next visit.

Zum zweiten mal waren wir essen in Herkenrath Hof. Ein Restaurant der extra Klasse in jeder Hinsicht. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist TOP! Hier ist alles stimmig: das Ambiente, eine hervorragende Küche und niemals ist Hektik zu spüren, auch wenn viel los ist. Wir haben noch nie so lecker vegan gegessen wie gestern. Hier fällt der professionelle Service sofort auf. Das Personal ist in 'old money style' angezogen, immer ansprechbar und sehr zuvorkommend. Die Etiquette wird eingehalten z.B. Der Kellner steht beim Einschenken immer hinter dem Gast (und nicht mal schnell über den Tisch ins nächste Glas einschenken), schenkt nicht zuviel oder zu wenig ein etc. Die Sauberkeit im Restaurant und die Hygiene auf der Toilette ist 100%. Also, sehr empfehlenswert.

The excellent service was evident right from the time we reserved a table: the team was extremely friendly, helpful and responded to all of our requests. In the evening itself everything was perfectly organized. The table was beautifully set and the atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and inviting. The service was attentive and pleasantly unobtrusive – exactly as you would expect. Our guests and we felt completely comfortable. The food was very good: every dish was freshly prepared, lovingly prepared and tasted to a high standard. The selection of drinks also left nothing to be desired. All in all, it was an unforgettable evening and we can fully recommend the Herkenrather Hof - be it for special occasions or a cozy evening for two. Many thanks to the entire team for this wonderful birthday!

We went here for dinner on Boxing Day. There was a selection of dishes in advance that could be put together on a menu. Starter was perfectly fine! The main course was a Christmas goose. This was the absolute highlight for me. Super tasty, super juicy and beautifully cross on the outside. Praise to the chef. Unfortunately, the dumplings that came with it tasted like dough! The red cabbage had something in it that I didn't like. The dessert was delicious. I would eat there again and order everything kart!

We have been regular guests of the “Hof” for many years. We celebrated our wedding here, experienced several events and spent many wonderful hours here. Cozy, modern atmosphere, always friendly top team and of course simply great food. Whether classic cuisine, a modern interpretation or even vegan: the farm really offers something for everyone. We have been regular guests at the Herkenrath Hof for many years and even celebrated our wedding here. It is a great pleasure for us to be able to count ourselves among our regular guests, because every time we are here we are completely satisfied and feel very comfortable! The cuisine is extremely balanced and always surprises us with changing menus and creative dishes. Always seasonal, freshly prepared and of high quality. Particularly noteworthy are the vegan dishes – exceptional, sophisticated and simply incredibly delicious! The staff is always friendly, attentive and always approachable. A “no” or “unfortunately that’s not possible” you hardly ever hear it here. We feel warmly welcomed and excellently looked after every time. Sometimes there is even time for a small talk or two with the service (so warm 💕) A big thank you to the entire team for the many wonderful moments and the great hospitality! Was eating at the Herkenrather Hof today and there was a Christmas menu. The staff was super nice and as a precaution, unfortunately I was unlucky. My veal schnitzel wasn't good at all, it was dripping with fat and it probably ended up in the pan too early and the potato cucumber salad was very watery. The remaining food from the family. were good (steak and other things) and without complaints. The prices were of course slightly higher, but that's normal on a holiday like this and it's justified.

Very nice, stylish restaurant between rustic and modern. We had our own room for the family Christmas party. The service was very friendly and patient, for all matters. We all enjoyed the food very much. The selection offers something for all tastes. From good home cooking to fine cuisine, including vegetarian and vegan, everything is served in style. A feel-good place!

We ate goose legs with red cabbage, dumplings and gravy with chestnuts. Really the best club I've had in recent years. Desert variation “Herkenrath Hof” for dessert. Everything is just perfect!

Iconic restaurant with a selection of good, fresh food. In the summer there is a wonderful inner courtyard and the 'speicherhaus' for family or company celebrations.

We were there for Mother's Day brunch and it was excellent. Very good food, great service and a very nice location. Updated 11/30/24 This evening we (two people) got a table at short notice and ate the goose breast and the goose leg. It was once again excellent!!!! The homemade mulled wine (red/white) is also highly recommended!!! Today Luis gave us excellent service and a great evening!!! Thank you Luis!!!

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne in den Herkenrath Hof! Hier stimmt wirklich alles und ich kann tatsächlich keine der unten stehenden schlechten Bewertungen verstehen. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, was heutzutage wirklich nicht mehr selbstverständlich ist. Man fühlt sich willkommen und durchweg gut umsorgt. Das Essen ist klasse! Man kocht saisonal, dadurch ändern sich öfters die Gerichte und es kommt in der Speisekarte keine Langeweile auf. Aber auch in den „Standard“ Gerichten findet jeder etwas, das immer schmeckt! Man hat wirklich die Qual der Wahl. Auch gibt es vegane bzw. vegetarische Speisen, immer wieder neu durchdacht und geschmacklich einfach wahnsinnig gut umgesetzt!!! Auch fürs Auge. So hübsch angerichtet, gesund und farbenfroh. Ich bin ein großer Nachwürzfan, aber das braucht man hier garnicht, da man sich einfach viel zu sehr auf die immer neuen Geschmacksnuancen und Zusammensetzungen freut. Lob an die Küche! Auch getränketechnisch: Leckere Schorlen, Cocktails und für mich als Bierfan immer wieder wechselnde Monatsbiere. Jummi! Und natürlich an das Personal! Aufmerksam ohne Aufdringlich zu sein (man wird sogar zurück gerufen, wenn man in der online Reservierung für Verwirrung gesorgt hat). Ihr macht das toll! Weiter so 🙂

Yesterday we were in the courtyard with a large group of international women and ate and drank. The service from our waiter Joro was exceptionally friendly, attentive and efficient. Even though all the tables were full and we had special requests and were certainly tiring, he didn't let himself be disturbed. Great service!

My fiancée and I were invited to a 40th birthday and it couldn't have been organized better. A mix of rustic, modern and hip. The service was phenomenal, the food at the grill buffet was excellent and afterwards there was an absolutely brilliant party. This location is without a doubt recommended. However, you have to be able to afford it. 5 stars everywhere in my opinion, and rightly so.

Delicious food and Oktoberfest beer. There is a great daily menu and there was something for everyone. The service was quick and attentive. We'd love to come back.

Visited this impressive location for the first time - historical ambience, beautiful old half-timbering meets modernity, very chic, right down to the toilet area! The cuisine - Bavarian, currently popular, because of Oktoberfest, to rave about - my husband - vegetarian, for me, special and 👌 . Our friends who already know the inn very well are happy to join us! The service team was very friendly, noticeably well-groomed, extremely distinctive, the young lady! Absolutely worth mentioning... when we left the restaurant, all the employees - we had very few to do with them - said goodbye to us with a happy goodbye! Super delicious, until late in the evening, it's a shame that Ali is no longer there. He is Momo's nephew at the Jaafar kiosk on Bensberger Straße on the edge of the forest settlement in Schlebusch. A great restaurant in Schlebusch, the chefs do an excellent job here, the sauces are perfectly seasoned, everything is fresh, no finished products... you can just taste it. The bruschetta was a pure explosion of flavor, so many great details coming together, delicious. The salad was good, the schnitzel was one of the best I've ever eaten! Were here for the second time, service was excellent, prices were okay, portions were more than sufficient!

Very rarely seen service. When that forced grin on your face... Food was so-so. The Wiehbach salad was basically a good mix. There have been dramatic savings on dressing. The fried potatoes an absolutely homeopathic dose. It was difficult to find them on the plate. The rhubarb crumble saved it.

Everything wonderful. The food, the service, everything was great. There is a large selection of drinks and food. It was my first time here and I'll definitely be back.

Communication with external catering didn't go well at all. After I made an inquiry using the online form, someone who was responsible for menu planning called me on the phone weeks later and promised to send me the menu suggestion. The phone call went into quite a bit of detail, so I assumed everything was fine. I called several times afterwards and was assured that the proposal was coming. Here again after weeks of radio silence - no suggestion. Another email revealed that catering was not possible for our event that day. Result - a month of time wasted planning!

--- I was really disappointed with my visit to Herkenrather Hof in Leverkusen. had reserved in advance and was not informed when making the reservation that you would be forced to order food. I would have liked to have had this information in advance as the food is also quite expensive. Unfortunately, when we finally got there, the service didn't meet our expectations at all. The staff was inattentive and we didn't feel well looked after. Overall, the visit was very disappointing and unfortunately I cannot recommend the Herkenrather Hof. .

It tasted delicious. The staff is very quick, competent and friendly.

Very friendly service (especially the hard-of-hearing and lip-reading employee) and a nice atmosphere in the inner courtyard. The menu reads very well, but the price-performance ratio is not right; at least when it comes to the asparagus menu. Small portions, high prices and in our case, seared salmon and pork fillet. But I'm sure we can do better here.
