Gasthaus Hans Mayer in Bad Kreuznach

The previous reviews probably reflect a situation that no longer exists. Initially, they said a la carte wasn't available. Then the advertised soup wasn't available, and the substitute was meager. The price was far too high; my family and I agreed that the menu was somewhat cafeteria-like. I can only advise against it and hope that they try to offer more quality and selection again. Disappointing!

The meal took 1 1/2 hours and the plates were immediately cleared away by a waitress who had already put food on their plate.

The art of cooking is truly mastered here. The ambiance is small, cozy, and lovingly decorated. Both the staff and the owner are extremely courteous and welcoming. We would have loved to return, but unfortunately, we felt the prices were far too high, which somewhat marred the otherwise very positive impression.

I had a delivery today. I ordered a mega doner kebab and a dürüm with extra meat. Unfortunately, my ingredient requests weren't fulfilled. The dürüm was very tasty and also very large. The meat was well-seasoned, and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. I didn't like the doner bread as much. Otherwise, it was decent and I would recommend it and order again. Delivery was quick. I'll order from them again, but next time I'll get the dürüm, and hopefully with the right ingredients :)
