We stumbled across the restaurant and decided to see if they had any availability. They were actually fully booked, but they still made a table for us. Definitely recommended!

The food and service were excellent. It's a very busy but cozy place. If you prefer a more pub-like atmosphere, I'd definitely recommend this place!

Delicious schnitzel (bauernschnitzel)! Not for the faint of heart!

You'll need to be a very big eater if you want to order a starter. The main course is quite large.

This is a classic German restaurant, with solid tables and chairs and a charming, somewhat old-fashioned interior. We arrived at 5:15 PM, and several tables were already occupied or reserved. When we left a good hour later, it was full... and that on a Thursday. The menu features many schnitzels, Dutch snacks like frikadelles, steaks, etc. I had a rump steak, and my wife had a pork chop with cheese sauce. It also came with (included in the price) fries with mayo, fried potatoes, and salad. Everything came in generous portions. It tasted good. We had a total of three draft beers (Bitburger). The potatoes came with bacon cubes, and the steak with pepper sauce. The bill was €60.50. The service was excellent. They came twice to ask if we wanted another drink and to check if everything was to our liking. The food was good, although the steak could have been a bit juicier. But hey... for that price!

We arrived without a reservation and were warmly welcomed. The chef told us that if we were patient (in terms of the speed of the food being served), an extra table could be arranged. We certainly are patient. But even so, the food and drinks arrived quickly. We had a delicious meal here. We were on our way back from our vacation. It was a nice way to end the day.

I can recommend this to anyone who's really hungry. These were the best fried potatoes I've ever eaten!

Cozy restaurant with a casual atmosphere. Delicious food. Don't order too much, because you really get enough. We both had schnitzels, potatoes and lettuce, but we couldn't finish it. Maybe a bowl of potatoes and a bowl of lettuce per two people. It's nice that they serve the Ccola that they have less and less of in the Netherlands.

Tasteless hunter's snitzel eaten and a snitzel with mushrooms. The snitzels are tough and tasteless. A coke 3.50 euros and we got a bowl of fried potatoes for which 2 x 4.50 euros are charged separately. All in all much too expensive and tasteless for a German restaurant with probably a Dutch owner.

Very good food. Good price-quality ratio. We were with a large group which made it uncomfortable in the restaurant. All-inclusive. Skittles, drinks and food!

What a great find. Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff and if your German is a bit rusty, you can also get very far in Dutch. Warning... you have to come from a good background to finish your plate. Now extra cozy because of the great Christmas atmosphere. Recommended!

Really tasty food and value for money

Upon arrival, we were neatly escorted to the table and passed on drinks. Then we ordered food, but it took quite a while before we got it. You must order fries or potato croquettes separately. Food was very good. Dutch speaking staff. All in all a good meal.

We ate here regularly, but last time we left for half a glass of drink. We had reserved for 4 people but became 2. We were therefore given another table in the middle of the room for 2 people. It was 15 degrees outside. The door was open and we were in a heavy draft and it was cold. We asked if the door could be closed, it was closed but then opened again regularly. There were also many windows open. We were very cold and then paid for our drink and left and we were not asked anything. A shame because we loved coming there.

We komen al jaren om na het boodschappen doen even een afzakkertje te halen. Het is er gezellig en je voelt je er welkom. Mocht je er willen eten het eten is goed en ruim voldoende en zeker een aanrader

We were there for dinner and can't say anything negative. Ambience is always a matter of taste, it is well furnished for an inn, the service is very friendly and really good. The food, a farmer's schnitzel, tasted very good, for me the cuisine is home-style, exactly what I personally expect from a guesthouse. It is a pub/restaurant with an outdoor area/terrace for outside seating. I felt very comfortable there, the owner and staff are friendly and helpful, the food was very good and in my opinion the menu is sufficient and balanced. I will stop there again in the future and can recommend it!

Great place to have a nice meal. Also nice vegetarian options and a great price.

We had a nice spacious seat, the service was friendly, the food was good. The gypsy sauce was on the sour side. We had to pay for the fried potatoes separately and that meant 2x 4.30 for a bowl = 8.60 for a bowl of fried potatoes, which I thought was a bit much and strange that you have to pay for everything separately.

Had dinner there for the first time this evening and was unfortunately disappointed. The atmosphere is neither rustic nor anything like a village pub. The 3 stars are for the service, which was trained there on her first evening. As in many places, the food was expensive and of poor quality. The sauces were Knorr, the salad dressing was Knorr, etc. The meat was soft, but the taste wasn't great either. If you now pay almost 26 euros per portion, that's not justified. The ouls and wine were fine. Can't you at least deliver average quality given the prices? A pity.

Gewoon een goeie boerenschnitzel op. Laat het voor en nagerecht gerust staan. Je bent zeker voldaan. Ik durf zelfs te zeggen dat de kans klein is dat je hem op krijgt. Verbeterpuntje is wel de koffie, die is echt niet best maar deze belet mij niet om u aan te raden hier heerlijk te gaan eten.

De verhouding prijs en wat je krijgt is prima in orde. Vrouw en dochter kregen de schnitzel geeneens op.... Leuk personeel in de bediening.

2de keer dat we hier zijn, wat is het als Nederlander hier genieten van het pure Duitse eten!

(H)Eerlijk eten voor een (H)Eerlijke prijs. Meer valt er niet over te zeggen. Sfeer is typisch "duits" maar komen er nog altijd erg graag!

Waren mit 11 Personen da. Essen kam gleichzeitig, alle sehr zufrieden. Das Pfeffersteak war super lecker. Vor 19 Uhr ist noch Betrieb im Freibad. Danach kann man auch sehr gut draußen sitzen

Super even een vlotte bediening en lekkere hap

Mein Mann und ich hatten uns aufgrund der guten Bewertungen sehr auf das Essen hier gefreut, waren aber selten so enttäuscht. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht. Schnitzel war recht groß, die Soße schmeckte mir wie aus der Tüte. Sehr lieblos. Salat war nichts besonderes. Auf dem Bauernschnitzel waren Erbsen und Möhren aus der Dose ! Beilagen und Salat musste alles dazu bestellt werden und so wurde das ganze am Ende ziemlich teuer. Dafür nicht nochmal. Schade
