Lovely local spot, the food was delicious and the service was very friendly. It was absolutely worth it.

We had lunch today with 10 people. I called spontaneously last night and was greeted very warmly and they actually reserved a table for us. The food was excellent. The service was very friendly and attentive. We've already reserved another table for December. The dining room was beautifully decorated with chair covers, which always looks very elegant. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great, rustic, cozy decor and super friendly staff who are really on the ball. We've been missing this kind of service for years. The food was also excellent! Finally, a Cordon Bleu that's properly filled! 😀 We come from 66453 Gersheim and only discovered this inn at the end of the year through the Schlemmerblock (a discount booklet)... well, what more can I say? We were hiking in the Eifel region and wanted to cook at home, but we were too tired. We had a discount booklet with us and looked for restaurants along the way. We found this restaurant and called to see if they had space for two. They did, so off we went – ​​we were starving! We arrived and walked in the door, and I immediately felt at home. It had a real pub atmosphere. The staff were all incredibly friendly, and the owner was great too. Everyone was very attentive. The food was fantastic; I had a schnitzel with fries and a salad from a small self-service bar. The food was fresh, the sauce was delicious, and the portion was plenty big. All in all, everything was perfect. Next time we go hiking, we'll definitely stop by on the way back. Again and again. Thanks for the wonderful end to an absolutely perfect day.

We were here for the first time today. It was absolutely worth the trip! The restaurant accepted our discount voucher without any problems. Great and charming atmosphere, very friendly service, and excellent food. A complimentary appetizer (baguette with a fantastic dip), a side salad from the buffet, delicious schnitzel, crispy croquettes, and well-seasoned sauces. The value for money is excellent. We'll definitely be back! Even without the discount voucher.

We happened to be near Eppelborn and found this place listed as nearby in the Schlemmerblock (a German restaurant guide). What a lucky coincidence! Otherwise, we would have missed out on these incredibly delicious steaks! They were cooked to perfection, juicy, and of excellent quality overall. We almost ordered a third! 😄 The side dishes were generously portioned. The fries and croquettes were super crispy and well-seasoned. For the side salad, you can help yourself to a small salad bar. There are two salad dressings available, and both are tasty! The draft beer was also very good! The owner was very friendly, personable, and attentive, and he served us himself. There was absolutely nothing to complain about regarding the service; we were even asked regularly if everything was alright. We'll be back! The place has a very quaint, pub-like atmosphere. 😉

A selection of cakes was served afterward – all delicious. The service was also absolutely exemplary: friendly, calm, attentive, and yet discreetly in the background. Hier ist man immer wieder herzlich willkommen, nicht zu vergessen das super feine Essen und die sehr freundlichen Bedienungen, Küchenmädels und Wirtin Charlotte.

Inn in the style of the 80s with no frills, but it is cozy. They make good steaks, the schnitzels with sauces are also okay but won't blow anyone away. If you don't say anything, the chickens are far dry (unfortunately that was the case the first time I ate chicken). During my second test meal of chicken I specifically said I don't want it dry and lo and behold there is another way, they are deliciously seasoned but there's nothing there. The waitresses are very friendly and the prices are ok. Celebrations are also possible; as far as I have heard, the problem for people with walking difficulties and old people has now been solved. The toilets for the general public are still in the basement and can only be reached via stairs. Praise to the great service of the inn, unfortunately, as I have heard, the good soul of the Gasthaus Bohlen es Charlotte is no longer part of the team.

Beautiful rustic atmosphere that you rarely find today… attentive service staff Price-performance ratio quite okay I didn't find the salad buffet so positive, although there was really high-quality green salad there and not just cheap head, lettuce or iceberg lettuce... although I am of the opinion that the be-all and end-all of a good inn is a very good house-style salad dressing should. Unfortunately that wasn't the case here... The meat was good and tasty. Unfortunately the sauce is not what you would say. It was homemade and super tasty… more like run of the mill unfortunately

Made with real breading in the pan. Great side salad and everything at a reasonable price. The menu is sufficiently large, unfortunately in my opinion there is no vegetarian dish! At the end you could choose a delicious schnapps. Unfortunately, you can find fewer and fewer of these very good restaurants with German cuisine. Despite the further journey, I would love to come back to you 😃
