Schnitzel with fried potatoes. The schnitzel was good, but the fried potatoes were very limited. The cook apologized and promised a discount, but the full price was charged. Apparently, communication between the employees isn't working so well.

Top-notch innkeepers, top-notch food. You have to go. Great value for money. Just stop by.

What can I say? I haven't written a review in a long time. But I'm surprised by the other reviews here. Schnitzel was freshly pounded, yes, I could hear it. Is that good preparation for a restaurant? Hmm. I wasn't as impressed with the food as I think other guests here have been. The service was a bit confused. I wouldn't put it any other way. We won't be back. Should be the end of our vacation, we'll have a nice schnitzel. Oh well, the vacation is coming to an end anyway.

The service was very irritated and ignored the customers! Otherwise, the rest was excellent and the beer was under €4!

We're both avid schnitzel eaters, and this schnitzel is one of the best we've ever eaten. It's nice and crispy, yet not greasy. You can also hear the freshly pounded and prepared schnitzel from the kitchen, which is reflected in the taste. The interior isn't too big, but it's perfectly adequate. The Augustiner beer on tap is also a plus, of course. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

I was there with my friends, and they were speechless. The food was really good. The schnitzels were very large, the potatoes were delicious, the pizza was very good, and the spaghetti carbonara was very good. We'll be back.

We had dinner at the Gänseliesel. The service was friendly and the ambiance was okay. I had the gourmet schnitzel. It was a bit bland in flavor. The menu said it should have been gratinated. Mine had a bit of cheese on the edge. The sauce was too creamy. The fried potatoes were nothing special. The mango and orange garnish didn't go with the dish.

Unfortunately, we can't recommend it. We didn't eat anything – for good reason: While we were sitting inside the restaurant, we observed an employee (presumably the owner) using a chef's knife to scrape dirt from the door frame leading to the kitchen area. But that wasn't enough: She then took that same knife back to the kitchen without cleaning it and placed it in a drawer. The kitchen door was open, so we could clearly see this. The food may have been okay, but after that scene, we lost our appetite. Furthermore, the dining area was very messy and overall appeared unkempt – not at all inviting. And to top it all off, it smelled like old socks.

Incredibly delicious food and a very friendly host family and staff. We've been there several times and it's always worth a visit!

My wife and I were truly pleasantly surprised! The food (I had schnitzel with fried potatoes, asparagus, and hollandaise sauce. My wife had schnitzel with fried potatoes) was very good! Buttery soft meat, crispy breading, the asparagus cooked to perfection and lightly seared, the fried potatoes just like grandma used to make, and the hollandaise sauce perfectly seasoned! The service was warm, informal, and there were no long waits! We felt completely at home and will definitely come back for more 😋🥰

Ein super uriges kleines Restaurant mit lecker Essen und einer Mega sympathischen 80 jährigen Chefin mit der man sich super unterhalten kann 😊. Zudem sind hier Hunde willkommen, was fast in keinem Restaurant in Bad Gögging der Fall ist. Schnitzel in allen Varianten sind zu empfehlen!

A super quaint little restaurant with delicious food and a super friendly 80 year old boss who is great to talk to 😊. Dogs are also welcome here, which is not the case in almost any restaurant in Bad Gögging. Schnitzel in all variations is recommended!

My husband and I were traveling with our dog and dogs are allowed and welcome almost everywhere in the restaurants. Then we discovered the small, beautiful restaurant. Very nice atmosphere and the owner greeted everyone personally and our dog also got delicious ham from her. The portions are big enough to fill you up.

Cozy little restaurant with a lot of klimbim and a cozy atmosphere, the schnitzel was nice and thin and very tasty, the cordon bleu was also very tender and tasty.

We had dinner with you on Saturday, September 28th, 2024. Both my Viennese-style schnitzel with fried potatoes and my friend's with gorgonzola sauce with pasta tasted excellent. The meat is tender and buttery, the fried potatoes are exactly as they should be!!! It may be that in the high season you have to wait longer for the food or to place an order... If a chef first beats the schnitzels shortly before frying and then fry them nicely in the pan, that takes time! If you don't have the time or understanding for that, you just have to go to where you can get schnitzel from the deep fryer. We'll be happy to come back next time, keep it up! Marion and Susanna

Hier fühlt man sich auf Anhieb wohl. Der Service war zuvorkommend und nicht aufdringlich. Wir haben einen leckeren Salat mit einer gut abgestimmten Marinade bekommen. Die Meeresfrüchtepizza war von der Qualität sehr ansprechend. Die Preis-Leistung hat gepasst. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Einmal und nie wieder. Wir bestellten eine alkoholfreie Russen-Halbe. Nach anfänglichen Verständigungsproblemen, da Bedienung nicht von hier, bekamen wir die Russen-Halbe. Und zahlten dafür 4,90. In der Karte nachgesehen, fanden wir lediglich eine halbe Weißbier und eine halbe alkoholfreies Weißbier. Aber auch eine Radler, was ähnlich ist, nur mit normalem Bier. Für die erwähnten Getränke wurden 3,90 € verlangt. Und für die Russen-Halbe alkoholfrei verlangte sie 4,90 und meinte, in der Karte würde Cola-Weißbier stehen, das würde auch 4,90 kosten. Ist doch etwas ganz anderes! - Wir gingen verärgert und gehen dort bestimmt nicht mehr hin. Im übrigen, im Nachbarlokal angrenzend kostet die Russen-Halbe nur 3,20....

Simple little restaurant, staff is a bit overwhelmed. As soon as several tables are occupied, you are warned that the meal will take longer. Then you either get the wrong dish or you keep waiting. Prices are normal. Food is good if you can wait patiently. Internet opening hours are incorrect. Recommended if you have patience.

Bavarian Cordonbleu (with Obatzter) and Munich Schnitzel with horseradish, both very good.

Very small place, a bit uncomfortable because you sit in the draft and people are constantly walking back and forth to smoke. Schnitzel was ok, salad lots of balsamic vinegar. You don't have to try it out.

Der junge Mann vom Personal war super nett und flink unterwegs. Die Speisekarte besteht im Wesentlichen aus Schnitzel mit und ohne Panade mit Bratkartoffeln. Das panierte Schnitzel hat auch gut geschmeckt. Die Salatgarnitur ohne eine Spur von Dressing war dagegen suboptimal. Die Einrichtung der kleinen Gaststube wirkte ziemlich zusammengewürfelt. Die komplett vertrockneten Paprikapflänzchen auf den Tischen waren alles Andere als ein Tischschmuck. Alles zusammen wirkte schon etwas traurig, wie auch insgesamt der ganze Ort. Es gab sicher mal bessere Zeiten.

Heute waren wir zu zweit im Gänseliesl. Bestellt hatten wir 2 Pizzen , generell geschmacklich angemessen, jedoch der Boden hatte kein Potential. Vielleicht klappt es beim nächsten Mal...

Außergewöhnlich und gemütlich einfach gut zum empfehlen. Mach weiter so.

Nettes und kleines Bistro neben der Therme. Frisches Augustiner vom Fass und bodenständige Küche zu vernünftigen Preisen. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich und kinderlieb, das hat uns gut gefallen. Phänomenal sind die oldschool Sitzauflagen aus den 90er Jahren 😅

Einmal "Gänseliesel" immer "Gänseliesel"! Das Essen Schnitzel mit Spätzle ein Genuss! Dazu ein kühles Augustiner vom Fass. Da fühlst dich wie ein Bayer im Himmel. Einfach top im "Gänseliesel" !

Das Schnitzel mit Champions und Spätzle war überragend. Zusätzlich gab es von den herzlichen Besitzern eine Runde Schnaps aufs Haus. Das Gänseliesel ist für mich der „Jungbrunnen“ von Bad Gögging. Hier trifft man immer charmante und gut aufgelegte Menschen. Lieben Dank. 🤗

10.6.2023 Ich sage es immer wieder: Bratkartoffeln zu machen, scheint eine Kunst zu sein, die nicht jeder beherrscht. Die Kartoffeln waren von gekochten, in Scheiben geschnittenen Kartoffeln kaum zu unterscheiden. Kein "gebraten", weich, keine Bräune, dadurch auch keine Röstaromen und kein Geschmack. Schade. Doppelt schade, weil es als Beilage zu den Fleischgerichten keine Alternative gibt...

Als wir das erste Mal gegessen haben, war das Essen mehr als gut, der Preis erschwinglich und der junge Kellner macht seinen Job hervorragend, perfekt

Super nette kleine Wirtschaft, Super leckeres Essen, Pizza Diavola, Schnitzel super lecker, sehr nettes Personal, sind inzwischen Stammgäste geworden. Nur zu empfehlen. Preis Leistung top.!!!! Ein Geheintip 👍👍

Sehr gut war dort schon öfter essen

Ich konnte leider aus Gesundheitlichen gründen nichts Essen, was ich aber auf jedenfall nachholen werde. Das Lokal ist wunderschön eingerichtet. Die WC Anlage ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Wirtin/ Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Auch der Wirt ist sehr freundlich. Hier wird ein Lokal mit sehr viel Liebe und Freundlichkeit geführt. Die Einrichtung strahlt Wärme und Gemütlichkeit aus. Was aber am Ende absolut überzeugt hat, waren die Preise für die Getränke. Für so ein edles Lokal hätte ich andere Preise erwartet. So günstig bekommt man schon lange keine Getränke mehr bei der Konkurrenz. Danke für die angenehme Umgebung in der wir heute empfangen wurden.

Nettes kleines Lokal mit großem Außenbereich, wohnlich eingerichtet. Freundlicher und kompetenter Service. Die Schnitzel/Cordon Bleus sind sehr zu empfehlen.

Wer gute Käsespätzle kennt, sollte hier keine essen. Als Käse wurde Schmelzkäse genommen und keine frischen Zwiebeln angeröstet sonder fertige Röstzwiebeln darüber gestreut.

Sehr kleines aber recht gemütliches Resaurant und sehr gutes Essen ein minus Punkt gibt es. Auf der Getränkekarte steht Ramazzotti aber Sie schenken eine billige Kopie aus.

Nogal laat op de avond (20.30 u) maar ik kon nog eten. De bediening was vriendelijk en er viel niks aan op te merken. Alleen wat ik voorgeschoteld kreeg was niet echt lekker. Bordje Tomaat mozarella maar dan overrijkelijk overgoten met balsamico zodat deze alles overheerste. Daarna een schnitzel die terug overgoten was van een berg saus waar je niet goed van werd. Smaak zat wel OK. Matige beoordeling.

Je wordt vriendelijk ontvangen in het knusse restaurant. Er is een ruime keuze in pasta en pizzagerechten, maar ook streekgebonden gerechten. Wij hebben gekozen voor een Italiaans voorgerecht en als hoofdmaaltijd een lokaal gerecht. Beiden waren goed bereid, smaakvol en voor meer dan voldoend. De bediening is attent en vriendelijk.

Das Restaurant ist klein aber fein. Die Speisen sind wohlschmeckend und ansprechend.Die freundliche Bedienung ist sehr Aufmerksam und gastfreundlich.

We waren hier nogal laat, rond 20:45, maar we konden nog een pizza bestellen en deze smaakte heel behoorlijk. Daarna vroegen we en kregen we de kaart om nog een ijsje te bestellen, maar toen we het ijsje bestelde bleek de keuken ineens dicht te zijn. Dat vonden we nogal vreemd omdat het nog ver voor sluitingstijd was.
