Hier gibt es das beste indische Essen in Deutschland, hervorragendes Essen fernab von Zuhause, wir haben die ganze Woche hier gegessen und es hat uns sehr gefallen!

Wir haben eine halbe Stunde gewartet bis wir vom Kellner angesprochen wurden und bestellen durften. Auf das Essen haben wir dann über 1 Stunde gewartet. Eine Familie und noch ein anderer Tisch haben auch gefragt, warum es so lange dauert, während einige Tische, die deutlich nach uns gekommen sind, noch vor uns bedient wurden. Das Besteck wurde einfach auf den Tisch geschmissen. Essen war aber lecker.

Faire Preise, total nettes gastfreundliches Personal und das Essen ist ultra lecker!

Wir hatten heute ein fantastisches Erlebnis in diesem Restaurant. Das Essen war hervorragend, die Bedienung zuvorkommend und die Atmosphäre sehr herzlich. Wenn möglich, würde ich jedes Mal extra von München nach Landsberg am Lech fahren, um hier zu essen. Es war das beste indische Essen, das wir seit Langem gegessen haben. Die Gerichte schmecken so authentisch. Auch unser Besuch heute, am 3. Mai 2026, war sehr angenehm.

Das Essen ist fantastisch, jedes Gericht hat seinen ganz eigenen Geschmack und Charakter. Das Ambiente ist angenehm und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Gastfreundschaft ist hervorragend und der Service schnell.

Sehr gut. Direkt am Marktplatz mit Blick auf denselben. Schöner Blick aus dem 1 OG. Freundliche Servicekräfte, gutes Okra Marsala, gutes Curry mit Huhn, tolles Bhatura. Wenn man es schärfer möchte, muss man das wohl extra sagen, für indisches Essen war es mild, was aber dem Geschmack nicht abträglich war. Erfreulicherweise gab es zudem eiskaltes Kingfisher sowie zum Auftakt Papadams und Chutney aufs Haus.

Dieser herrliche Duft der Gewürze.... Wir sind heut nach einer Empfehlung knapp 40 min gefahren um im Ganesha zu essen.Es hat sich wirklich gelohnt!Der Service sehr gut und das Essen hat allen geschmeckt.Wir kommen wieder!!!

Wir waren auf der Reise von Berlin nach München und haben dabei diese wunderschöne Stadt in Deutschland besucht. Wir kehrten in diesem sehr guten indischen Restaurant ein. Das Essen schmeckte viel besser als in anderen indischen Restaurants, die ich kenne, und das Personal, insbesondere Herr Bimal, war hervorragend. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, wenn Sie in dieser Stadt sind.

Die Lokation ist sehr hübsch. Der Indische flaire passt sehr gut zu dem barocken Stil des Gebäudes und bietet mit dem Blick auf den Stadtplatz einen richtigen Wohlfühlort. Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam , das essen sehr geschmackvoll und lässt keinen Wunsch übrig. Auch anzumerken ist die Ausstattung der Damentoiletten mit Hygieneprodukten für den Notfall. Das ist wirklich sehr aufmerksam und noch recht selten.

Wir haben nach einem Thermenbesuch spontan eine Essenmöglichkeit gesucht und haben mit dem Ganesha die absolut richtige Wahl getroffen. Das Essen war richtig lecker und wir haben uns richtig willkommen gefühlt. Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder hier her!

Sehr freundlicher Service und wirklich sehr leckeres Essen. Ich habe Tandoori Paneer Tikka und Shahi Baingan mit Tandoori Roti bestellt, und ich muss sagen – alles war hervorragend. Das Shahi Baingan war das beste, das ich je gegessen habe. Auch das Paneer Tikka war perfekt zubereitet und sehr aromatisch. Die Soße dazu war yumm. Die Portionen sind großzügig, und man merkt, dass mit viel Liebe und guten Zutaten gekocht wird. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder und kann dieses Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen

Our first visit to an Indian restaurant! Wow. The ambiance of the restaurant on the first floor is truly lovely, cozy, and pleasant. The music isn't too loud, and the acoustics in the room are generally good. The staff is friendly, attentive, and courteous. Special requests and questions about the dishes are answered and fulfilled politely and competently. The value for money is excellent. Since we had never eaten Indian food before, we relied on recommendations and received very good advice. Everything tasted fantastic, and we will definitely be back to enjoy this restaurant again. Thank you for the wonderful culinary experience!

Everything was very good. We enjoyed our meal very much once again, and the food was delicious. Contrary to some "old?" reviews here, the service, friendliness, etc., were top-notch. Drinks arrived very quickly, even though the restaurant was very busy (Friday evening). They asked promptly if we wanted another drink. A requested tea recommendation was communicated very well and tasted excellent. Loose-leaf tea in a large pot, no tea bags. Rock sugar pieces were served in a small bowl on the side. That's not something you see everywhere anymore. The lamb was a bit spicy, as requested and indicated on the menu, but not overly spicy. The grilled sweet and sour duck was also fantastic, not spicy at all. The quality and quantity were very good. Humorous aside: Whether the animals were humanely hunted with bows and arrows the day before, whether the spices were picked on-site in Asia at midnight under a full moon, whether the vegetables were somehow gently stroked until they were ripe... who knows. Anyway, WE enjoyed it. With such a large menu, it's impossible to cook everything on the spot. Otherwise, guests would wait forever. That would immediately be criticized. And it would no longer be affordable for ordinary people. Then they'd have to go to the Ritz or similar gourmet restaurants. Conclusion: We'd gladly come again.

Wonderful food in a great atmosphere. Everything was delicious and fresh. I've never had better Indian food. We'll definitely be back. Only downside: I don't think the €2 charge for the takeaway box is fair, as the alternative would be throwing the food away. (This extra charge wasn't mentioned beforehand.)

Visited this restaurant as saw a few reviews on a Motorhome forum as we were stopping in the local park up. Spoke good English, service very good and food was excellent. Would recommend.

This restaurant is a great spot in a friendly little town! It's on the first floor, with a nice view of the main street. The food is fantastic, and the vibe, with its cool decor and music, really sets the mood. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, making you feel right at home!

We were here for lunch on a bank holiday and were thoroughly impressed. The ambiance is tasteful and very inviting. The service was warm and attentive. Our vegetarian main courses (palak paneer, dal makhani, tandoori kulcha, etc.) were freshly prepared, delicious, and so authentic that you truly felt like you were in India while eating them. An experience we highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I ate here on Wednesday evening, and it was such a lovely evening! We received a very friendly welcome and got a table without a reservation; it was relatively busy for a weekday. The service was really excellent and very friendly. The food was delicious, warm, and there was plenty of it. Questions about spices and special sauces were answered in detail, and the staff are charming and happy to joke around; they are very friendly and approachable, which makes you feel very welcome. The price is unbeatable. We will definitely be back; I highly recommend this restaurant!

I am a globetrotter. Been to many countries before and to countless indian restaurants in and out of India. This restaurant in a quent corner of Germany took me to a fantastic surprise by the taste ,authenticity of preparations, their service, portion sizes everything is 5 star worthy.

Very nice and peaceful place. The food is excellent. Real Indian. A little spicy and can be more if you like. The service is fast and friendly, yet very discreet and unobtrusive. The prices are very reasonable for such a meal with exotic drinks.

We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food and drinks. We got the mango lassi after 10 minutes. The food was excellent.

I regularly get food from Ganesha and am always greeted warmly. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. And if it takes a little longer, they often throw in a delicious chai on the house :-)

We had to wait two hours for our food. It was quite busy, but we weren't even informed or apologized for it. Furthermore, we weren't even asked if we wanted anything else to drink during those two hours. The free appetizer was also only available upon request, even though all the other tables around us received it. When the food finally arrived two hours later, something was missing from one of the dishes that had been specifically requested when ordering. Only when we asked about it was they said it couldn't be prepared that way. No notification, no apology, nothing. Besides, the food was just meh. The tikka masala tasted of nothing but spice. Packing the leftovers was apparently also a problem, as the waiter said it wasn't okay the way it was on our plates, but they didn't understand the details. After the food was finally packed, we were charged for it when we paid. When we didn't tip due to the poor service, the waiters cheekily asked us what we were doing with the tip. When we explained why, we were simply scolded instead of apologizing for the inconvenience. In general, the waiters were not friendly at all.

It wasn't my first time here. Unfortunately, I wasn't satisfied today. Apparently, they were understaffed, as it took about 15 minutes for a server to ask what I wanted to drink. Then it took another 10 minutes for the drink to arrive. I waited about 45 minutes for the food. Unfortunately, I wasn't satisfied. Firstly, the meal was missing the raisins and cashew nuts listed on the menu, and last but not least, the waiter served me a relatively large bowl of a yogurt-garlic mixture. There was nothing about this on the menu, otherwise I would never have ordered the dish, as I'm lactose intolerant. The naan bread I ordered as a starter also didn't arrive until the main course. It's a real shame, as I've been really satisfied several times in the past. The staff were completely overwhelmed. I'll have to consider whether I'll come here again, as I have a journey of about 40 km.

Simply the best Indian food I've ever eaten in Germany! The curries were outstanding – rich and aromatic with a perfect level of spiciness (to taste). The side dishes – poppadoms, naan bread, saffron rice – were perfect. The portions were very generous. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We'll be back! Highly recommended.

Absolutely unfriendly waiter, one of whom was a bit strong! First, he was incredibly strong, and then he treated us with short words as if we were his enemies! The food itself was also only good if you can't have anything else.

If I had more stars to give, I would! We arrived in Landsberg late, hungry and tired and EVERYTHING was closed at 23.00. Apart from Ganesha. We ordered by phone. Three dishes with an appetizer and a drink. According to the online menu, the cost was around €50. When the delivery man arrived, he wanted €70. When we asked for the bill, he said he didn't have it. Since we had a guest with us and were hungry, we paid. I've always enjoyed eating there. After today's experience ordering by phone, we won't be eating there again.

Coming from Berlin, we've had our share of Indian food, but Ganesha in Landsberg am Lech truly blew us away! We honestly didn't expect to find such an exceptional Indian restaurant here, and it easily surpasses anything we've experienced back in Berlin. Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece of flavor. The spices were perfectly balanced, aromatic, and rich, clearly prepared with an authentic touch. From the moment we walked in, the inviting aroma promised something special, and Ganesha delivered on every front. This is a must-visit for anyone craving truly outstanding Indian cuisine.
