When the waiter brought the bill, he said “I add 5 € for service, ok?”. I agreed as it was asked in quite an abrupt way but then he didn’t show me the card machine when I paid. I asked for a receipt but he said he could not give me one. Thankfully I got a text from my bank straight away confirming the amount paid. He had added 8€ for service without my permission. It felt like a well rehearsed tourist trap. Shame as it is in such a lovely location :(

My wife and I spent a long time choosing a place to spend the evening, we were attracted by the good prices and the menu. We ordered chicken, number 55 on the menu, fish, number 39, salad and French fries. And two beers. What was our surprise when they brought us portions, and they were huge. Everything was very tasty, satisfying. And that: excellent polite pleasant staff, huge satisfying tasty portions, the opportunity to sit inside in a beautiful interior, or outside in good weather. I definitely recommend it to everyone, if you choose to spend your evening here, you will not go wrong.

I have eaten in a restaurant several times, have also taken food away and recently had it delivered for my birthday party. The food and service were excellent both on site and in the catering. There is something for everyone when it comes to food. There is a huge selection of dishes with meat, fish and vegetarian as well as vegan. Everything tastes extremely delicious. Everything for the catering was delivered and set up as agreed. In addition to the food, you also get all the dishes and glasses. If desired, you can also get employees to serve food and drinks. The next day, after a quick call, everything was taken away again without the dishes having to be washed first.

Really very tasty food. Had the butter chicken and the chicken was so incredibly juicy and delicious. And the portions definitely fill you up. I'm not from here but if I'm in the area I would definitely eat here again.

We loved this Indian in the middle of the town centre. We had made a reservation & were seated outside on the cobbles which was nice. Menu was also in English & I had the most delicious lamb biryani hyderabadi. The waiters were very attentive and there is an extensive menu. No wait for us, but it was a Tuesday evening in June and very lovely to be seated outside in the main square. Highly recommended.

Traditional Indian restaurant right in the middle of Landsberg's old town. The rooms are on the first floor (there is an elevator). The map is very extensive. Nevertheless, everything seems freshly prepared. The level of spiciness and spice are adapted to European conditions. Main courses cost around €15. We found everything very tasty and would love to come back!

Amazing Indian food, service and great ambience. We ordered the butter chicken, sabji kofta and paneer kulcha. Everything was authentic and exactly like what you would expect at a Punjabi dhaba. Perfect blend of flavor and spice. We were looked after very well by Pindar who was super friendly and gave us great recommendations. He made sure we got everything we needed and went above and beyond in his service. We were also given free chai and litchi juice at the end of the meal. Highly recommend if you like good and authentic Indian food.

Well, the enthusiasts write “at best it’s surprising what’s on offer for such a low price”. Real? So much so cheap? Guys, think about it or have you completely lost your taste? The menu alone is far too extensive for good, handmade dishes! Good restaurants have a few dishes on the menu, but not pages and pages! We were there last week. Unfortunately, it tastes good, but just like everywhere else. No matter whether it's a Chinese restaurant, an Indian restaurant or a friendly Vietnamese restaurant - everything is available with flavor enhancement to the point where you can't wait. Why is beef always so damn tender there? (Note: baking soda solves all toughness problems), is the chicken meat prepared x times from species-appropriate husbandry with free range in the air? We actually asked. Oh, you really can't tell us right now. But it tastes really delicious, if you don't have any other demands, that's great! Cheap food works exactly the same way, with large menus! So a maximum of 2 stars, for the pseudo-good-and-tasty ambience, but not for the tortured meat food. As always: waste of money. It was cheap, it was tasty, but the last time. And this time it was really the last time. Oh, by the way: If you ever spot a Vietnamese or Chinese man on the side of the road with a mini stall. He has 3 dishes with vegetables. That is delicious!!

As has often been the case today, an excellent lunch dish. The price-performance ratio is right, but it's surprising at best what's on offer for the low price (excellently seasoned and diverse range of vegetarian and meat dishes, salad or soup first, liqueur or chai tea afterwards). An always attentive and friendly manager who lends a hand, as do most of the other service staff. Even special requests are fulfilled without discussion. There is also a nice atmosphere, outside on the main square when the weather is good. The quality has been consistently good for over 5 years now. The best Indian restaurant far and wide in the Munich-Augsburg area and the southern surrounding area! Addition April 2024: A vegetarian delicacy that was previously unknown to me: Vegetable Tandoori Dum Biryani, a delicious, juicy and uniquely seasoned rice dish, baked with naan bread. First class!

The atmosphere is super nice. Very nice staff, there was a bit of a problem with German. And the food 😍😍😍😍! A large selection, including vegetarian dishes, and just really good. For my part, I love Indian food and therefore visit Indian restaurants more often. This is one of the best I've been to so far. I would love to come back.

You don't find good Indian food very often in Germany. Ganesha is one of the best Indian restaurants we know. We have been visiting there for many years. The cuisine is excellent, the ambience is incredibly romantic and the friendly boss takes great care of his guests. The service is always courteous and friendly. Mostly they are Indians. Finally, a very nice young woman from Ukraine served us well. Her name is Martsymva Katezyna. It's great that there are restaurants like this, with such good value for money and such good energy.

If you have a lot of time, it is certainly cozy here and the food is also delicious. Otherwise: better look for something else, wait too long for food! (Sunday 1:30 p.m.) When we came in we were half-snarked at because we hadn't made a reservation, but we still got a table straight away. Ordering and drinks came quickly, but we waited over an hour for the food! The service was not very friendly and the air became very stuffy after a short time.

The customer service is pretty rude, especially when we order deliveries. In the last two cases we were charged an additional €2.70 even though I checked the price on the phone. I pointed this out to him several times but he changed the price (no joke) four times. When the food arrived, there was suddenly €2.70 more on the receipt. Strange, because the supplier had exactly received the money. Apparently the order taking employee knew that I wouldn't give a tip this time and manipulated the amount so that he could take exactly €2.70 extra from me. I like to tip, but I want to decide for myself whether and how much. We always leave a lot of things in Ganesha. So be careful if you order lunch over the phone (because lunch costs half the price). It seems like they tried to scam me out of money, instead of €26 they wanted €48. The food tastes good.

The Ganesha is a good Indian with all the advantages that you know from Indian restaurants. The food is very good, as is the service and the staff is very friendly. If we are in LL and feel like Indian food, then we go to Ganesha. Although we always go without a reservation, I would strongly recommend it for groups of 2 or more...

Wir waren am 1. Weihnachtsfeiertag da, mein Essen , Chili Chicken, war ok, das Chicken Curry von meinem Freund war wirklich klasse, der Fisch von meinem Schwager und meiner Frau war sehr trocken, leider. Aber der Service ist wirklich sehr schlecht, die Kellner zwar sehr freundlich, aber einen Fisch vergessen nach mehrmaligem Reklamieren und nach dem probieren meiner Frau haben wir den zweiten Fisch abbestellt, er kam trotzdem nach einer Zeit. Die Gläser voller Kalk Rückstände, das erste Spezi haben wir zurück gegeben, das zweite etwas besser aber bei weitem nicht sauber. Das zweite Pils erst nach mehrmaligem Reklamieren und mehreren Kellnern, bekommen, dafür auf der Rechnung mehrere Pils ohne sie getrunken zu haben. Dabei ist das Ambiente wirklich erstklassig und ein wirklich schönes Restaurant, aber eine Empfehlung kann ich wirklich nicht aussprechen, Schade.

Ganesha Mango lassi is my all time favourite. I have tried mango lassi in many Indian restaurants. But, none of them match the richness of Ganesha in the taste. All their staffs are very friendly as well

Ich bin hier relativ spontan vorbei gekommen, da ich auf der Durchreise war. Trotz meiner späten Ankunft, um 21.30 Uhr, wurde ich sehr sehr freundlich empfangen. Der Service war wirklich sehr gut. Bis auf die Baustelle, die genau an die Außenbestuhlung angrenzte, war es ein sehr gelungener Abend. Man beachte uns sogar ungefragt weitere Knusperfladen, da wir die wohl "zu schnell/zu gierig" verschlungen hatten ;) - kostenfrei wohl gemerkt. Wir hatten die große Platte mit allem für 2 Personen bestellt. Diese reicht wirklich für 2 Personen, auch wenn der Preis überdurchschnittlich war. Trotzdem war der Besuch sehr zufriedenstellend und wir gingen wohl gestärkt unsere Runde am Lech nachdem wir gezahlt hatten (Visa Zahlungen möglich, dauern nur ein wenig länger, da das Lesegerät im ersten Stock ist und erst geholt werden muss).

Das Essen war lecker. Auf Nachfrage zu den Gerichten bekam man eine ehrliche und weiterhelfende Antwort. Es war viel los, daher hat es etwas gedauert. Service freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gerne wieder.

On the last day of a trip through Oberbayern we found a good Asian restaurant with TripAdvisor. It was close to the hotel. The restaurant is located on the first floor of an old building. They have more than one large room with Asian decoration. The menu is huge, there are a lot of Indian dishes and menus. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was amazing. My wife ordered a beef menu and I ordered chicken. The meat, the vegetables, the sauces and spices, just everything was great. So far this was one of the best restaurants we visited outside Asia. And the price was fair.

Das Essen war sehr gut, raffiniert gewürzt und kam zügig auf den Tisch. Die Auswahl war groß. Das Ambiente war sehr speziell, der kleine Raum für 15 bis 20 Leute hatte eine alte Gewölbedecke, darin gab's bunte indische Dekoration. Nicht für Rollstuhlfahrer geeignet - kein Aufzug. Das Lokal ist im ersten Stock.

Man wartet lange - Service ungenügend und das Essen -auf das es ankommen sollte- war nicht im Ansatz einer indischen Küche würdig und schmeckte wie aus der Dose! Sicher nie mehr wieder !

Auf Empfehlung waren wir gestern endlich beim Ganesha in Landsberg zum Abendessen. Ich war schon in mehreren indischen Lokalen in Augsburg und liebe diese Küche und die freundliche Mentalität. Das Essen war wirklich gut--- wir wurden leider sehr zurückhaltend bedient! Es gab weder ein guten Appetit noch , nach dem Essen , die Frage ob es geschmeckt hat!! Es wurde hektisch abgetragen und finstere Blicke verteilt!! Werden das nächste mal wieder in Augsburg zum Inder gehen!

Mein Mann und ich hatten für Silvester einen Tisch um 19 Uhr reserviert. Wir hatten gleich am Anfang alle 3 Gänge bestellt. Die Suppen sind kurz nach der Bestellung serviert worden. Die Suppen haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Allerdings ist sofort die Hauptspeise serviert worden. Die Portionen waren groß, das Essen frisch und haben gut geschmeckt. 1 Minute nach dem abräumen kamen unsere Nachspeisen. Ich war schon so voll von den ersten 2 Gängen, das ging viel zu schnell. Die gebackene Banane mit Vanilleeis mit billiger Sprühsahne hat überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Die Portion war sehr groß, dafür war die Qualität nicht zufrieden stellend. Die Banane war schon kalt, das Eis war billig und die Sprühsahne unpassend. Als ich noch ein Stück Banane auf dem Teller hatte, wollte man den Teller schon mitnehmen. So etwas geht gar nicht. Einem jungem Paar am Nachbartisch ist es genauso ergangen. Wir waren nicht mal eine Stunde im Restaurant. Die wollten den Tisch bestimmt noch ein paar mal besetzen. Das Essen ist immer sehr gut, aber der Service lässt manchmal zu wünschen übrig. So schnell werden wir nicht wieder ins Ganesha zum Essen gehen

Wir hatten nur Vorspeisen, waren damit sehr zufrieden. Super Service, tolle indische Atmosphäre. Zentral am Hauptplatz gelegen. Gute öffentliche Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe vorhanden.
