Our first visit to an Indian restaurant! Wow. The ambiance of the restaurant on the first floor is truly lovely, cozy, and pleasant. The music isn't too loud, and the acoustics in the room are generally good. The staff is friendly, attentive, and courteous. Special requests and questions about the dishes are answered and fulfilled politely and competently. The value for money is excellent. Since we had never eaten Indian food before, we relied on recommendations and received very good advice. Everything tasted fantastic, and we will definitely be back to enjoy this restaurant again. Thank you for the wonderful culinary experience!

Everything was very good. We enjoyed our meal very much once again, and the food was delicious. Contrary to some "old?" reviews here, the service, friendliness, etc., were top-notch. Drinks arrived very quickly, even though the restaurant was very busy (Friday evening). They asked promptly if we wanted another drink. A requested tea recommendation was communicated very well and tasted excellent. Loose-leaf tea in a large pot, no tea bags. Rock sugar pieces were served in a small bowl on the side. That's not something you see everywhere anymore. The lamb was a bit spicy, as requested and indicated on the menu, but not overly spicy. The grilled sweet and sour duck was also fantastic, not spicy at all. The quality and quantity were very good. Humorous aside: Whether the animals were humanely hunted with bows and arrows the day before, whether the spices were picked on-site in Asia at midnight under a full moon, whether the vegetables were somehow gently stroked until they were ripe... who knows. Anyway, WE enjoyed it. With such a large menu, it's impossible to cook everything on the spot. Otherwise, guests would wait forever. That would immediately be criticized. And it would no longer be affordable for ordinary people. Then they'd have to go to the Ritz or similar gourmet restaurants. Conclusion: We'd gladly come again.

Wonderful food in a great atmosphere. Everything was delicious and fresh. I've never had better Indian food. We'll definitely be back. Only downside: I don't think the €2 charge for the takeaway box is fair, as the alternative would be throwing the food away. (This extra charge wasn't mentioned beforehand.)

We were here for lunch on a bank holiday and were thoroughly impressed. The ambiance is tasteful and very inviting. The service was warm and attentive. Our vegetarian main courses (palak paneer, dal makhani, tandoori kulcha, etc.) were freshly prepared, delicious, and so authentic that you truly felt like you were in India while eating them. An experience we highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I ate here on Wednesday evening, and it was such a lovely evening! We received a very friendly welcome and got a table without a reservation; it was relatively busy for a weekday. The service was really excellent and very friendly. The food was delicious, warm, and there was plenty of it. Questions about spices and special sauces were answered in detail, and the staff are charming and happy to joke around; they are very friendly and approachable, which makes you feel very welcome. The price is unbeatable. We will definitely be back; I highly recommend this restaurant!

I am a globetrotter. Been to many countries before and to countless indian restaurants in and out of India. This restaurant in a quent corner of Germany took me to a fantastic surprise by the taste ,authenticity of preparations, their service, portion sizes everything is 5 star worthy.

Very nice and peaceful place. The food is excellent. Real Indian. A little spicy and can be more if you like. The service is fast and friendly, yet very discreet and unobtrusive. The prices are very reasonable for such a meal with exotic drinks.

We waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food and drinks. We got the mango lassi after 10 minutes. The food was excellent.

I regularly get food from Ganesha and am always greeted warmly. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. And if it takes a little longer, they often throw in a delicious chai on the house :-)

We had to wait two hours for our food. It was quite busy, but we weren't even informed or apologized for it. Furthermore, we weren't even asked if we wanted anything else to drink during those two hours. The free appetizer was also only available upon request, even though all the other tables around us received it. When the food finally arrived two hours later, something was missing from one of the dishes that had been specifically requested when ordering. Only when we asked about it was they said it couldn't be prepared that way. No notification, no apology, nothing. Besides, the food was just meh. The tikka masala tasted of nothing but spice. Packing the leftovers was apparently also a problem, as the waiter said it wasn't okay the way it was on our plates, but they didn't understand the details. After the food was finally packed, we were charged for it when we paid. When we didn't tip due to the poor service, the waiters cheekily asked us what we were doing with the tip. When we explained why, we were simply scolded instead of apologizing for the inconvenience. In general, the waiters were not friendly at all.

It wasn't my first time here. Unfortunately, I wasn't satisfied today. Apparently, they were understaffed, as it took about 15 minutes for a server to ask what I wanted to drink. Then it took another 10 minutes for the drink to arrive. I waited about 45 minutes for the food. Unfortunately, I wasn't satisfied. Firstly, the meal was missing the raisins and cashew nuts listed on the menu, and last but not least, the waiter served me a relatively large bowl of a yogurt-garlic mixture. There was nothing about this on the menu, otherwise I would never have ordered the dish, as I'm lactose intolerant. The naan bread I ordered as a starter also didn't arrive until the main course. It's a real shame, as I've been really satisfied several times in the past. The staff were completely overwhelmed. I'll have to consider whether I'll come here again, as I have a journey of about 40 km.

If I had more stars to give, I would! We arrived in Landsberg late, hungry and tired and EVERYTHING was closed at 23.00. Apart from Ganesha. Not only they saved us from certain starvation, but the food was surprisingly good, the stuff was extremely kind. They even offered us some mango lassi. Thank you!!

Simply the best Indian food I've ever eaten in Germany! The curries were outstanding – rich and aromatic with a perfect level of spiciness (to taste). The side dishes – poppadoms, naan bread, saffron rice – were perfect. The portions were very generous. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We'll be back! Highly recommended.

Absolutely unfriendly waiter, one of whom was a bit strong! First, he was incredibly strong, and then he treated us with short words as if we were his enemies! The food itself was also only good if you can't have anything else.

We ordered by phone. Three dishes with an appetizer and a drink. According to the online menu, the cost was around €50. When the delivery man arrived, he wanted €70. When we asked for the bill, he said he didn't have it. Since we had a guest with us and were hungry, we paid. I've always enjoyed eating there. After today's experience ordering by phone, we won't be eating there again.

Coming from Berlin, we've had our share of Indian food, but Ganesha in Landsberg am Lech truly blew us away! We honestly didn't expect to find such an exceptional Indian restaurant here, and it easily surpasses anything we've experienced back in Berlin. Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece of flavor. The spices were perfectly balanced, aromatic, and rich, clearly prepared with an authentic touch. From the moment we walked in, the inviting aroma promised something special, and Ganesha delivered on every front. This is a must-visit for anyone craving truly outstanding Indian cuisine. We're already planning our next trip back!

The Ganesha is without a doubt the best Indian in the region. As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted warmly and immediately feel welcome - the staff are consistently attentive, warm and professional. From a culinary point of view, Ganesha impresses across the board. The classic Indian dishes such as Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala are exceptionally prepared - wonderfully aromatic, perfectly seasoned and incredibly creamy. The side dishes also deserve praise: the naan bread is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the rice is always light and fragrant. Everything is just right here – taste, atmosphere and service. If you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine at a high level, Ganesha is the right place for you. Absolute recommendation!

You visit an indian restaurant in a small town in Germany and have not much expectations from it. But to our surprise, everything about this restaurant war legendary. The staff that greeted us. The interiors (looks like an old haveli/ royal residence) and the decors. And then came the food. We were speechless. Palak paneer and Bhindi masala were done to perfection. The spices and the balance of flavors were spot on! Naan and the garlic kulcha were well done. The desserts (Gajar halva and Kulfi) both were exceptionally well done. Level of sweetness was executed well. Not much sugary (as it is otherwise often the case in other indian restaurants.) Thank you for making our day. I'd take a detour every time I can to visit this place.

We went yesterday (Saturday lunchtime). Beautiful decor. Felt very opulent. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was fresh, plentiful and delicious. We had the vegetable Thali for 2. All 6 options were delicious. I can definitely recommend. Free papadums at the start and liquor drinks at the end (even a non alcoholic lychee drink for the kids). We eat a lot of Indian food and this was by far the best we have tried in Germany.

Great lunch menu, fast service, perfect taste

True Indian taste ! All dishes we ordered (vegetarian only) were prepared well, typical Punjabi style of cooking 😀 We enjoyed rose lassi a lot and it was of a good portion ( one of my kids could not finish ! ) Ambience was good and spacious table arrangements as well.
