Es war total lecker! Die Bedienung war unglaublich Freundlich, wir hatten ein Gericht bestellt von dem wir später erfahren hatten das es eigentlich nicht mal mehr auf der Karte steht, und sie haben es speziell für uns nochmal zu bereitet. Außerdem gibt es vor dem Essen nochmal kostenlos Brot als Vorspeise, und man kann sich draußen als auch innen setzen. ALLES MEGAAAAAA!! ♡♡ Und nur Liebe an die Bedienung

Ein wirklich schönes indisches Restaurant ganz in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs. Das Essen war köstlich und die Speisekarte riesig mit vielen leckeren Gerichten. Wir hatten Chicken Tikka und zwei Biryanis. Das Essen ist superlecker und die Portionen sind großzügig! Die Preise sind auch sehr günstig.

Durchweg fantastische indische Küche. Ich greife meistens zum praktischen Mitnehmen, aber auch das Essen im Restaurant ist dank der einladenden Atmosphäre und der gemütlichen Einrichtung ein Genuss. Besonders hervorzuheben sind das Chili Paneer und das Kadai Paneer – sie sind voller authentischer Aromen und immer perfekt zubereitet. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Das Essen war köstlich, der Service hervorragend und es war sehr angenehm, im Innenhof des Restaurants zu sitzen. Es war schön, sich mit dem Kellner über das Essen, seine Zeit in Bayreuth und natürlich Cricket zu unterhalten. Ein wirklich netter Kerl. Wir haben den Besuch sehr genossen.

Wir besuchten gestern das Ganesha. Schönes Ambiente, guter Service und das Essen war ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Leider gibt es keine alkoholischen Getränke. Dies wird weder auf der Homepage noch in der Speisekarte kommuniziert. Erst bei der Bestellung wird einem gesagt, dass es weder Wein noch Bier usw. gibt. Sehr schade...

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Abend im Ganesha. Ich war mit meiner Freundesgruppe dort zum Essen verabredet. Sowohl Vorspeisen, als auch Hauptgang und Nachspeisen waren eine 10/10. Es gab reichlich Beilagen wie Reis und Naan, sowie extra Soße, falls diese für manche nicht gereicht hat. Das Ambiente war schön, die Musik war weder zu laut noch zu leise. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Große Portionen. Service ist besser geworden. Geschmacklich weiterhin sehr gut. Die Soßen mit 2 verschiedenen indischen Brotsorten, die man vor dem Essen bekommt sind auch prima.

Wir waren am 14.02. bei Ganesha und das Essen war wie immer super lecker. Der Stern Abzug ist dafür, dass wir eigentlich monate vorher ein Tisch reserviert haben und dann aufeinmal unser Name nicht auf der Reservierungsliste stand. Es konnte alles geregelt werden, damit wir einen schönen Abend dort verbringen konnten. Wir empfehlen Ganesha immer gerne für gutes Indisches Essen.

Tolles Restaurant, sehr leckeres Essen zu guten Preisen und eine ausgesprochen nette Bedienung. Die schöne Dekoration und die Musik sorgen für eine tolle Atmosphäre.

Lamm war lecker, Naan Brot jedoch nit wenig Knoblauch, Anmerkung für das Restaurant: Das Lamm kam mit Gemüse auf vorher aufgeheizten gußeisernen Platten die jedoch viel zu heiß waren, weswegen das Gemüse an dieser festgebrannt ist. Bedienung war sehr nett.

The best Indian restaurant I know. Always fresh, large portions, very tasty! The chicken tondoori is delicious! The naan bread is fresh and plentiful.

Family celebration at Ganesha. Two dogs with us, no problem. We got a long table in the back room. There were several other tables nearby, and it was quite busy. The service was very attentive, but all drinks were non-alcoholic! Where else do you find that? This wasn't mentioned when we made the reservation. The food was plentiful and delicious, but the vegetarian option was unfortunately very spicy due to the ginger. Even though we didn't order it spicy... The air in the room became very stuffy after a while, and the toilet door squeaked – you wouldn't want to sit next to it.

Yummy Yummy was almost closing when we arrived, but the manager was very nice and helped us make delicious briyani. There is also an all-you-can-eat buffet on weekends. The price is reasonable and the service is great.

The food was very good, no question. However, the impression was marred by the refusal to serve us alcoholic beverages. Unfortunately, they couldn't really explain this to us; it must be a phase where Indians aren't allowed to touch alcohol. In any case, we were fobbed off with the promise "more alcohol in 2 weeks" 👎🏼

We were there for the lunch buffet, and for €11.50 per person, you absolutely couldn't complain: There was freshly baked naan, salad, and the usual dips, plus a kind of Indian tzatziki as a starter selection. Then, potatoes, rice, vegetables in sauce, chicken karahi, and chicken with a different sauce as main courses. For dessert, there was a kind of rice pudding. Everything was very tasty and fresh. Bread was brought to our table straight from the oven without us asking. The ambiance is also as colorful and harmonious as ever. When the waiter noticed a mistake on the bill (we would have paid €10 less), he even gave us a discount, which he didn't have to. All in all, we were very satisfied!

I was craving Indian cuisine, chicken curry and butter naan. My goodness, that was good. I would come back here again. And after two years, I'm actually back. When I knew I was going to Bayreuth, it was clear I would come back here to enjoy such good Indian food. After the starter, I would like to give it 6 stars, which is unfortunately not possible, or wait...⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Waren letzte Woche hier zum frühen Abendessen. Die Besitzer sind freundlich, nett und zuvorkommend. Kümmern sich und nerven einen nicht, achten aber darauf, wenn man etwas braucht. Das Essen ist gut, je nachdem was man bestellt. Mein Hühnchen war gut, die Soße geschmackvoll, Reis war sehr gut und auch das Naan war gut. Der Paneer war ok, aber die Soße war langweilig ohne viel Geschmack, da kann man viel verbessern. Da Naan und Reis dabei war, war der Preis sehr fair. Man kann dort ohne Einschränkungen hingehen, Karte ist groß und man findet gutes indisches Essen. Geschmacklich sollten sie nochmals nachbessern, damit es mehr Aroma bekommt.

I ordered chicken biryani for takeaway. Just a heads-up for fellow biryani lovers—this isn't your typical Dum Biryani or Kerala-style Biryani. It came with biryani rice, rose-colored boneless chicken pieces, a curry, and a soft naan. To be fair, the portion was quite generous. Nice atmosphere and good service. Malayalees... just go and order biryani and don't be shocked!

We are now regulars. I think that says a lot about the restaurant. We come every Tuesday and are always given a very friendly welcome and are immediately taken to a beautiful place. The drinks and food come very quickly and taste incredibly good. Even my Pakistani fiancée thinks it tastes very authentic. The service is impeccable, courteous, friendly but not intrusive. I can highly recommend the restaurant and will come back again in the future. The mango lassi is to die for.

I really enjoy eating here. I particularly liked the lunch buffet during the week. There are always around 4 different starters and main courses, plus a dessert. In addition to curry dishes with chicken, there are always vegetarian versions, such as very tasty dal dishes. In addition to fragrant rice, Naarn bread with various sauces is also served. In the summer it is very nice to sit outside on a kind of veranda, when it is colder you can feel like you are sitting outside in a kind of winter garden. In terms of price, everything is within reasonable limits and the price-performance ratio is right for me.

Extremely friendly staff, very accommodating. We got the wrong dish, exchanging it was no problem at all and a replacement was there straight away (less than 5 minutes). Highly recommended, and here spicy means really spicy!!

Never again! Unfriendly employees. You don't get a second drink or additional rice. There were six of us and we had a bowl of rice, which the next table shared between four people. The chicken dish consisted of four pieces of chicken, the shrimp dish consisted of four shrimp. Otherwise just sauce, which we didn't have rice with. The rooms are very cramped with tables and chairs. You don't really sit alone. One can get the impression that it's all about processing as many people as possible in one evening.

The absolute worst Valentine's Day or dinner date ever - Thank you Ganesha!!!! Reserved a table in good time and stood in front of the door with 13 other couples. It took a solid 30 minutes until we were inside. Everything inside was full and the employees didn't care that so many were waiting. A small apology and an explanation of what went wrong would have been sufficient. A glass of champagne in everyone's hand and it's perfect. But no, you can relax and stand behind Therese and write things down in the book or continue taking telephone orders. Looking at people and explaining everything is not possible. We left and of course couldn't get a table anywhere else thanks to Valentine's Day. Hungry and angry too! What kind of dealing with customers is that? Months ago we found the employees arrogant and not as accommodating as before. We had to call customer service to get anything at all. Now we thought, let's give it a second chance: never again!!!! This store will never see me again. After the experience today, I would give zero stars if it were possible.

We went on a Date to this restaurant and I must say it was a great choice. We loved the food as we come from north india they have commendable options for north indian food and on top of that the taste is no match to other restaurants in terms of price, quality and quantity we have tried so far. And the hospitality is very warm and welcoming. We loved it. And we would recommend this restaurant with open heart. Thank You for Having us❤️.

If you want to experience an Indian culture, it is a must recommended place. As the staff is so polite to the customer and their service is amazing. Along with that you can find the perfect blend of spices in the food. I am sure the chef is putting a lot of effort and magic in the food.

First time I went today night for dinner with my family and It was delicious. All staff are friendly, well served every thing . I recommend to all surely come and try sehr lecker butter chicken, channa masala and special mango lassie.

Usually we love this place and the food is great but the service on Friday the 17th was horrendous. I had to ask twice for a table for two and had to wait 8 mins, standing around in the entry way. Order were only taken when you actively called the server, even after making eye contact and sitting there with closed menus. The food was lovely but we were not asked if everything was alright, when the drinks were finished halfway through the main course we were not asked if we wanted a refill and by the end there was neither a serving of Pan Mukhwas nor of the mango liquor usually served after dinner (which was served only to one table next to us and no other ones). We sat for 30 mins after our plates were cleared in front of empty glasses and again were not asked if we wanted anything else to drink or if we wanted to pay. Eventually we went to the front to pay and were glad to have left... Maybe next time the service will be better again or we'll go to Namaste instead, I suppose.

The food was amazing good plus the service today's was too accomodating and friendly. We visited first time but the food was that yummy that I would recommend this restaurant to everyone will definitely visit this restaurant again . Das Essen hat geschmeckt, allerdings wurden wir ausgesprochen unhöflich behandelt. Vielleicht, weil wir keinen Mann dabei hatten. Man gab uns das Gefühl, lästig zu sein. Unmöglich. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Leckeres Essen. Das Personal schreibt Kundenfreundlichkeit sehr hoch. Man bekommt abends immer noch eine Kleinigkeit dazu.

I ordered the Lamm Tikka through Uber eats, and it was a truly disappointing experience. The meat was extremely poor in quality—old, stinky, and completely inedible. It didn’t even smell fresh, let alone taste good. For an online order, where customers rely on the restaurant’s commitment to quality, this was completely unacceptable. I couldn’t even finish the meal and ended up throwing it away. I strongly urge the restaurant to improve the quality of their ingredients and conduct better checks before sending out food. I won’t be ordering from here again unless they address this issue.

Always delicious. I come here regularly. Service and food are very good. I find the free starter particularly tasty: papadum with three dips. Thank you for always mentioning that one sauce is very spicy 😉 As a main course I can recommend chicken korma. Super tender meat. The plates come warmed up, a tea light warms under the bowls for the meat so that the food doesn't cool down. Keep it up, I'll be happy to come back.

The best Indian dishes I have eaten in Germany until yesterday. Tasty, nicely decorated and fresh ingredients. Highly recommended. It's just a shame that Masala Chai wasn't available to order shortly before 9 p.m. A big advantage is that dogs are allowed there.
