Gaffel - Kölsch in Köln

A little loud, but typical brewery. We come here every year for our Christmas party.

Their pork knuckle is very bad, no salt, no spices, no anything, it's not worth it

The brewery is very nice. The cuisine is great and the Kölsch tastes great, the service is friendly and courteous, relaxed and never at a loss for a comment. The prices are very moderate. It is advisable to make a reservation, especially on Fridays and Saturdays, as the store is packed from 6 p.m.

Popped in for a bite to eat after visiting the Cathedral Christmas market. Outstanding pizza and chicken salad and some red vino. Brilliant service Jochen. Food was outstanding. Sat outside under a lovely heater with a blanket over the legs.

Generally good in terms of location. We would have to wait forever for the food and after that too. Service continued to be disappointing.

Extremely arrogant bouncer who treated us condescendingly. It's a shame because we wanted to have a nice drink.

Came here after a running a short race for a post race bite to eat and a drink. Beer was a Kolsch, of course, and the food was good. I can't say there was anything memorable about the food that would make you crave it again. The service was awesome, helpful and understanding of my broken German. The gentlemen saw me struggle with the menu and brought the english version. Explained the dishes and was polite and patient. The atmosphere was 'eh.' I only say this because you may have someone sitting next to based on how the tables are set up. I didn't have an issue with that, my issue was the gentleman was smoking and the smoke would blow our way. Granted, smoking is popular here, it bothered me to have it right next to us.

Nos servimos algo de comer y unas cervezas. Es un buen sitio para comer. Muy limpio y bien atendido. El barrio es muy turístico, cerca del rio Rin. Relación precio - calidad = Excelente.

Das Essen super lecker. Die Haxe nur zu empfehlen. Die Bedienung sehr nett. Vorallem André.

Wir wollten dort mit 15 Leuten was trinken und die Bedienung hat uns vor allen Leuten abserviert, ohne Begründung. Vermutlich weil wir vom Sportverein aus vor Ort waren. Total unfreundlich! Selbst die Leute am Tisch wollten uns dazu haben! Nie wieder, hoffentlich bekommt die Bedienung Flatulenzen!

코로나 시국이라 독일인밖에 보이지않았던 곳. 처음 입장 시 우리 입장을 거절했지만, 코로나 접종증명서를 보여주며 예방접종 완료했다고하니 입장시켜준 식당. 음식도 굉장히 늦게나왔고 현금으로만 돈을 받았던 곳, 하지만 가펠 맥주 맛이 과연 으뜸 일품이었던 식당!!!! 학센이 오래걸리는 음식이었을 거라고 생각하면 늦게나온 시간도 나름 이해해줄 수 있었던 느낌. 그 분들도 아시안계 사람들을 조심할 수 밖에 없었을거라고 나름 위안하며, 다음에 이 맥주를 먹으러 재방문의사 1,000%. 가펠맥주가 한국에 돌아와서도 안잊혀졌다. 너무 맛있다. 쾰른하면 가펠맥주라고하는 이유가 분명히 있었고 여기서 답을 찾았다:). 뒤셀도르프에서 이런 맥주 맛은 찾을 수 없었다.
