Good hotel with very friendly staff and free parking.. I went to the Christmas market in Erfurt for the first weekend in Advent and was happy to get out of the city and relax here in the evening. Very good transport connections, my forgotten mobile phone charging cable could easily be borrowed from the hotel team for a few hours, comfortable beds and breakfast on Sunday morning with everything I was looking for and need.

We had a really good time at brunch on Boxing Day. The food was excellent, rich and varied. In addition to various meat dishes, homemade spreads, various vegetables and a large selection of desserts, the service girls were very friendly and busy. We celebrated grandma and grandpa's birthday with the whole family in this restaurant and were completely thrilled! I would particularly like to emphasize the extraordinary friendliness and the great effort of the entire staff to give us an unforgettable celebration. From the first moment we felt warmly welcomed and well looked after. The food was of excellent quality. I was particularly impressed by the entrecôte - it was perfectly prepared, incredibly tender and an absolute highlight in terms of taste! But the other dishes were also delicious and prepared with great attention to detail. Thank you for the great service and excellent food! We'd love to come back.

A buffet was organized for around 50 people. The waitresses were friendly and quick and the quality of the food was very good. Definitely a recommendation and I won't be there the last time!

Simply inviting, cozy and wonderfully located on the outskirts of town. The waitress is super polite and competent. Reads (almost) every wish from your eyes and your smile. The dishes are a homemade, extremely freshly prepared dream Prepared. Means waiting time. But it's worth it and the very cozy dining room is really a place where you can see the attention to detail. The food, as a reminder, is the flagship of every gastronomic establishment. You can tell with every bite that the chef is an absolute professional who leaves nothing to chance. So definitely visit and enjoy as my wife and I did. Recommendation from me 100%

We stayed at the Fürstenhof as a family for 2 nights. The rooms are very, very simple, but clean. The breakfast was completely sufficient for our needs. The running family is very nice and the food in the restaurant is really delicious and recommended.

We ate there and you can't rate it... it was very nice, with friendly staff. There were around 30-40 people and we made reservations in advance and the evening went very well at the restaurant! Would recommend and eat there again

For us as a family with 4 children, a very suitable, convenient location (of course louder due to the connecting street). Rooms were all very tidy and clean. Service good. Very friendly, courteous and thoughtful owners and service staff. Breakfast buffet with eggs, muesli and juice. Menu diverse. Nice, adequate children's playground with a sandpit. Plenty of parking spaces, even an electric car charging station!! Very nice and cozy garden to sit in.

Delicious food and a good selection. It is cozy and nicely decorated. The toilets are super clean and smell floral. Free parking spaces are available.

On August 23, 2024, a barbecue evening with music took place in the Fürstenhof. It was a really successful evening for me and my family. We were there as a young family (2 adults + 1 child) The room was well maintained and clean. Furnishings are very simple but make you feel comfortable (very pleasant, especially with children) Plus points for the extra cuddly soft towels. Above all, the inn is very large and the beer garden is a really nice place to relax. There are even rabbits and chickens to look at. You can't avoid the vesps in the summer, but it's bearable. Food and drinks are good. Above all, the cuisine is quick (without lacking in quality) Above all, it is simply a perfect place to switch off. We immediately felt comfortable. At first I was skeptical about the distance to the city center, but the train and bus connections are very good. It was less than 7 minutes away by car. Perfect for recovering from everyday life in the evening.

The Fürstenhof is one of the few inns in the area. You can get to Erfurt quickly. Parking space free of charge. After two nights, I have to say that it is not a 3 star hotel. It's super loud at night because it's right on a busy street. Be sure to leave windows (you can still hear it). The owner was very nice, but rooms were swapped (first night) which resulted in a sleepless night as we were given a sofa bed instead of a bed. Absolutely not suitable for adults and very uncomfortable. The second night we stayed in the triple room, which we paid for. Towels, soap and a small hairdryer are available in the bathroom. Guest room was on the second floor. Breakfast is available on the first floor. It is very minimal, rolls are baked, salads are not fresh. Sausage smelled and was not edible. Coffee, tea and scrambled or fried eggs are freshly prepared. Coffee is a dark roast and not to everyone's taste. You can take your own juices. Breakfast was not satisfactory for me. Cleanliness 3/5. You can use the restaurant, but the prices are higher than in Erfurt. When checking out asked for a discount, which was given, but with "stupid" comments. Would not use the Fürstenhof service again.

We celebrated our family celebration in the Fürstenhof. The food was very tasty and well priced so that there weren't tons left over. The cake (all homemade) was also very tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. The drinks we ordered came quickly. The rooms are cozy and lovingly furnished. The location of the Fürstenhof is very good, as it is easy to reach due to its proximity to the motorway. There are sufficient parking spaces available. A beautiful beer garden invites you to linger. Absolutely recommended!

We had lunch here and it was pretty much the best restaurant visit I've ever enjoyed. The service was warm, caring, courteous and attentive. We were asked about raising seat cushions, special requests and intolerances were fully accommodated - with reassurance from the kitchen - and the food was great: no flavor enhancers, no additives - honest, sophisticated cuisine. Of course the preparation takes time. It was definitely not the last time I was there. Thanks for the great stay!

We were guests here often before Corona and were always very satisfied. That has changed today. We got seats relatively quickly even though many of them had already been reserved. We also received the menu promptly but then we had to wait a long time to order. Finally our drinks arrived and my husband's glass was missing. Then I saw a waitress take some food outside, bring it back in, and walk aimlessly through the restaurant several times until it landed ice cold in front of me. We were still waiting for the missing glass, which was finally brought as requested. By the way, we ordered the same food, the only difference was the portion size. After a few bites I had enough and let the food go back. My husband waited another 30 minutes for his food, which was very hot and delicious. A nice waitress was very sorry that I was so dissatisfied and offered me a small discount. We had the feeling that both waitresses were overwhelmed with the number of guests and had little structure. I was actually really looking forward to a delicious lunch and left disappointed and hungry.

Lunch at the Fürstenhof in Frienstedt b. Erfurt was good again. We made a good choice with the “Hirsch”. The service was really attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, we had the impression that she was a bit overwhelmed and slightly uncoordinated. We really enjoyed the additional, large pot of gravy. This is not a given. The food is considered stomach-friendly. The tables with the beautiful roses were extremely attractive and very inviting. I would have liked to give a top rating, but the waiting time for the food has to be deducted.

It is a lovingly run country inn in a beautifully quiet location in the west of Erfurt, which can be easily reached by tram and then after a few bus stops.

Very tasty and highly recommended. The service is very friendly and the atmosphere is very cozy. There is also a small playground for children, bunnies, chickens and a playhouse.

We had a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The food, beef roulade with Thuringian dumplings, was finely prepared and impressed with its good quality. The price level corresponds to today's times and is reasonable for this good cuisine. We'll be back 😁

We celebrated our mother's 80th birthday here today. Everything was top notch. The food was great, very varied, tasty and lovingly prepared. It was praised by all guests. The decoration was very tasteful and appropriate for the occasion. The boss patiently responded to every extra request. The cake buffet was simply delicious. The staff were very polite and friendly. At the end of the celebration, even the takeaway food was conveniently packed. All in all, it was a very successful day with many beautiful experiences and delicacies. Thank you for that.

I have been a regular visitor to the regulars' table for three years now. All I can say is that the service is always friendly and courteous. Even on turbulent evenings and when the house was full, there were always opportunities to take a seat. I can only praise the service of the house and say everyone keep it up. Inconspicuous from the outside at first glance, but at second glance it's definitely worth a visit and even has a nice outdoor area (beer garden, which you can't even see from the street). We were there on Easter Sunday with 10 people. I (we) have to say the best German cuisine that (we) have enjoyed in a long time. Despite the full house, everything was under control and the fact that it takes a little more time for the food to arrive is made clear by a free starter compensated. Respect and recognition, you are one of the best restaurants in the area. If you haven't been here, you've missed something.

Utterly disappointed… Horrible service… We planned to eat here for the entire week of our vacation. On the last evening we finally made it. The price-performance ratio seemed quite okay to us. Our Asian waitress was very friendly and really served us kindly. In our opinion, two other waitresses didn't work at all. As restaurant testers, these two ladies would have deserved a warning. One of the two ladies had impossible makeup and clothes (you would have thought we had ended up in a night bar), the other had an absolutely rude demeanor. I still had food in my mouth and on my plate, but it had already disappeared. At our neighboring table, after the wrong food was delivered, an older couple was warned very badly that the meal would take a while and then it would be fine. No apology or accommodation. Very bad, in our opinion. The rude waitress noticed our displeasure and very intrusively offered us aperitifs. My partner said yes, I didn't want anything more. The “rude woman” then held cake under my nose, which was more than intrusive :-( even though I said no several times. Conclusion, we have visited many restaurants, but this was the first bad experience and hopefully it will be the last. This was my first time worthy of a review.

The restaurant is very comfortably furnished and clean. Food (real Thuringian cuisine) and drinks came quickly. The food was delicious and the service was super attentive, friendly and always with a smile. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms as we were only restaurant visitors. The proximity to the motorway still needs to be praised and we would be happy to come back.

We were there for dinner in the evening. The schnitzel was ok, but for the price of €18.90 it could have been presented a little more attractively. The touch of half a slice of cucumber is less decorative. Everything was just packed on the plate, the fries under the schnitzel - not nice either. Unfortunately, the staff on Saturday evening gave the impression that they were a nuisance. As a "non-regular guest" you won't receive very friendly service. The regulars at the next table were happily rewarded with free desserts. From a hygienic point of view, the waitress's hair would be better styled if it wasn't half stuck in the food when the food was served. For us, this was a unique visit that we unfortunately cannot recommend. A pity!

In my opinion, absolutely not recommended. Staff completely off track. For 75 € you are taken to the top, without elevator and room 3.5 square meters and half is a sloping ceiling + small bathroom. When asking for a price, the reason given is that it is a trade fair and therefore, even though the parking space is only slightly occupied. There wasn't an opportunity to eat every day either. 3 out of 4 days no cleaning was requested and yet it was done. Door sign for peace and quiet were not planned and not brought. Don't take any rubbish with you when cleaning. When we asked, we got a different room for almost €100 a night and there wasn't even a shower room and towels weren't changed either. Scrambled eggs and fried eggs were given for breakfast. Of course, drinks cost extra :-( Location is good, but it doesn't justify the price or the service. Not for me anymore, thank you.

Since we wanted to go to the trade fair in Erfurt, I looked for a restaurant that was directly on the way there. We weren't guests of the hotel but were there to eat. We were welcomed into a very nice atmosphere with very pretty decoration and very well maintained and clean. The staff is consistently very friendly and on the ball. Our friendly service showed years of competence and specialist knowledge. The menu offers plenty of choice for every taste. The food was very delicious and everything is freshly prepared. Ultimately we booked a table straight away for next time. Clear recommendation from our side. Best location right on the B7 just outside Erfurt with plenty of parking spaces. Addendum: Went for dinner with the family yesterday on February 16, 2024 on the occasion of my birthday. The restaurant was well attended and despite the lack of staff, everything possible was done to keep the guests happy. The dishes were again all freshly prepared and we had different versions of schnitzel. Everyone enjoyed it excellently. It was a lovely evening and we look forward to the next time.

Last weekend we had a family celebration with around 20 guests and an overnight stay for everyone. The smaller of the two rooms was reserved and prepared for us. After prior consultation, we decided on an evening buffet. It was a good decision, there was something for everyone - including the children. The food was consistently very tasty and handmade. The rooms are lovingly decorated and comfortable. The personal support from the boss was excellent, and the other staff also took great care of our well-being. All in all, it was a successful evening, a relaxing overnight stay for everyone and a hearty breakfast the next morning. In our opinion, the Fürstenhof is highly recommended for both a delicious dinner and a family celebration. Fox family

We went to a family celebration in Fürstenhof today and were thrilled with the offer. The cuisine is regional, the food is very tasty and varied. The Thuringian dumplings are handmade and have exactly the right size and consistency. In addition, various roasts with the finest sauce and of course fresh salads and the best vegetables. The drinks menu is also impressive and there are various Thuringian cake specialties to accompany your coffee. The restaurant is definitely recommended.

I was recently at the Fürstenhof and spent almost a week there to enjoy a 30-year friendship and my big birthday. I was/am so positively surprised at how much love this house is run with. I/we were greeted and received in a very friendly and welcoming manner. There is a family atmosphere and a lot of passion in this house!!! Accommodation/rooms clean, tidy with a feel-good character!!! Food: I can only say again and again: EXCELLENT cuisine!!! As far as the “feel good” package is concerned...I would give it 5 stars I've even booked again!! I wish the owner couple all the best, good luck with their future projects and always a good hand!!! Anfang September wurden 7 Plätze für den 25.12.23 reserviert, Anfang Dezember Ließ sich der Chef telefonisch bestätigen, dass es dabei bleibt.Leider waren die Plätze nicht reserviert als wir ankamen und das Weihnachtsfest war versaut. Wir sollten eine Suppe mitnehmen und am nächsten Tag nachmittags wieder kommen. Ein paar stunden später Stellte sich heraus das eine andere Reservierung 2 Tische bekommen hat fälschlicherweise. Danke für nichts ...

Ich möchte eine Bewertung über ein ganz anderes Thema über diesen Gasthof schreiben. Es ist schon einige Jahre her, da war ich abends gegen 18 Uhr auf dem Heimweg meiner damaligen Arbeitsstelle in Gotha nach Erfurt. Während der Autofahrt merkte ich plötzlich akutes Unwohlsein,Panikattacken,Atemnot sowie Herzrhythmusstörungen. In Panik hielt ich mit meinem Kfz hinter der Gaststätte an und wusste mir keinen Rat, und betrat in der Situation die Küche, mit der Bitte, ob mir jemand einen Krankenwagen rufen kann. Von der Köchin erhielt ich die Aufforderung, sofort den Hygienebereich zu verlassen. In meiner Not betrat ich die Gaststätte an der Hauptseite des Gebäudes und wiederholte meinem Wunsch an das Personal dort, mir bitte zügig einen Krankenwagen zu rufen, da ich mittlerweile akute Atemnot besaß und mich selbst nicht in der Lage sah, in dieser Situation einen Anruf zu tätigen. Von dem dort anwesenden Restaurantpersonal oder vielleicht auch Geschäftsführer?! erhielt ich nur die Antwort : „ Setzen Sie sich und warten Sie“. Er musste dort mit anwesenden Gästen eine Feier planen und sah sich nicht in der Lage, mir zu helfen. Mittlerweile hatte ich extreme Todesangst, war komplett durchgeschwitzt und verließ mit letzter Kraft das Gebäude. Ich konnte mit Hilfe meiner Lebensgefährtin (welche Hochschwanger mich anrief und versuchte, mit mir zu kommunizieren), noch einen Krankenwagen anrufen und tatsächlich wurden später im Krankenhaus Herzrhythmusstörungen diagnostiziert. Ich weiß, dass dies ein Thema ist, was weiter über die tägliche Arbeit und dem Know-how eines jeden Hotel- oder Restaurantangestellten hinweg geht, nur so schlecht in einer echten Notlage dort behandelt zu werden, hat mich total schockiert. Ich werde dieses Restaurant und Hotel niemals wieder betreten und jedem meiner vielen Bekannten davon abraten, wenn menschlich so wenig dort vorhanden ist!! Mit freundlichen Grüßen Mirko Metzlaff

Das Essen war OK, die Freundlichkeit Klasse. Nur die Atmosphäre und das Lokal eine einzige Katastrophe, jede Bahnhofsgaststätte ist bequemer. Man wurde in einen zugigen Vorraum gesetzt. Nur der Hunger hatte uns dort verweilen lassen.
