Hidden away and therefore a kind of insider tip. Small guest room with around 7-8 tables, plus a large outdoor tent. Warm welcome from friendly innkeepers. The order was taken quickly and brought to the table without a long wait. Starters (mandus, kimchi and squid) were delicious, but the portions were quite manageable. The main courses were all also very tasty and the spicy version was also suitable for European palates 😊 (but the spiciness builds up over time... not for wimps 😊) The starter also fills you up well. Very authentic and really homemade. It was our first time here but definitely not our last. Tip: be sure to reserve in advance.

Found the store on Neotaste and tried it out straight away. We never thought it would be so delicious. We once ordered bulgogi with rice and tteobokki to take away. Both were so flavorful and by far one of the tastiest dishes we've eaten. And the staff is super nice too.

“For You” is the rare Korean restaurant where I want to come back again in the future after my first visit. I think this is the best Korean restaurant in NRW! A really nice visit. The service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious. I can only recommend the Tteokbokki. Just be aware that these are quite sharp. There also seemed to be some regulars there, which definitely speaks for the restaurant. I will come back!

While looking for a Korean restaurant, we came across “Für Dich (Korean Soul Food)”. I have visited many Korean restaurants, but nowhere have I tasted it better or as good as here. It was super, super tasty. I had the kimchi "soup" and the kimbap, it was just delicious. The waitresses were very polite and nice. I will definitely go back. We usually eat Korean food in Düsseldorf and discovered by chance that there is also a Korean restaurant in Duisburg-Süd. We intentionally chose the dishes we usually eat: Dolsot Bulgogi Bibimbap, Fried Chicken with Sweet and Spicy Sauce and Pancakes with Kimchi. All the dishes were super tasty and so far I particularly like the pancakes and the bibimbap here. The portions are larger than those you get at many restaurants in Düsseldorf and are even cheaper. The hot sauce is added separately to the bibimbap, which means the guest can season it as they wish. The other Korean guests also immediately suggest that good food is served here. The owners are really nice and always try to make their guests feel comfortable. We will definitely be back and are looking forward to trying some of the other dishes.

Very tasty food, the lunch menu can also be highly recommended. There were also a few people on site to pick up lunch to go. It also seems to be well received by nearby residents. Parking is easily possible in front of it on the street or in the neighboring yard.

I went there with my partner and my son for lunch. We wanted Korean food, but didn't feel like going to Düssedorf (usually very busy). This place was amazing - better than anything we've had in Düsseldorf tbh. The owner is clearly happy to welcome you in his restaurant. The food is excellent and fairly priced. We recommmend the seafood pancake and tempura squid (very fresh), meat mandu (a lot of flavor), and stirfried pork with kimchi (item 19 on the menu). I know it may sound weird, but we found the white rice particularly good. Usually, when you go to Asian restaurants, it feels like they don't really care about the white rice they're serving you. But not here.

The service is also a 10/10. Extremely attentive and friendly. We had the No. 8 and No. 19 and loved them. An absolute must in the south of Duisburg.

Boss restaurant, always delicious to be there and to feast on. Everything about the food is top notch and perfectly rounded off with delicious spiciness. The only drawback is the lack of space, which is why you usually can't get a place at short notice on weekends. Somewhere in nowhere! Small, fine and well-attended shop with down-to-earth food. Also with lunch. At the weekend there is hardly any chance of getting a table without a reservation. We had Cheolpan Bulgogi Bokkeum and Dak-galbi (Spicy), the latter being slightly spicier and tastier. A second visit is definitely worth it!

It was worth visiting from another city! I felt the same taste of stir-fried kimchi pork that I used to eat in Korea, and I was very proud that it was getting a good response from German customers in a neighborhood with few Koreans! The idea of ​​providing salad instead of side dishes seems to be a good compromise considering the local situation with many local customers. The kindness of the owner and servers, who go around each table and check for any shortcomings, is top notch! I guess I'll have to go try the Jjambbong next time. I highly recommend it! Jjambbong is truly the most delicious, including in Korea! Be sure to add rice and eat it as jjamppong rice🥹 I can't leave out even the stir-fried squid, the stir-fried pork belly with bean sprouts, and the pork cutlet.😍 When you think of Korean food in Germany, it's fur dich!! I had high expectations for Restaurant 'Für Dich' due to its good reviews, especially regarding Korean cuisine. The selection of dishes was good and I chose the Dak-Galbi, which unfortunately wasn't nearly as spicy (even for Europeans) as I would have liked, despite multiple requests for an authentic preparation, as I had this dish in Korea have loved. The beef noodles were disappointing as there was only a tiny piece of meat measuring about 1x2cm in it. Fortunately, additional meat was brought after we asked. Unfortunately the service was very slow which detracted from the overall experience. The restaurant itself was also very loud, which led to a rather uncomfortable atmosphere. On the positive side, I would like to recommend trying the makgeoli as it was definitely a highlight of the evening. Overall, my visit to 'Für Dich' was mixed and I hope that the restaurant works on the points mentioned to improve the quality of service and the atmosphere.

I enjoy eating here with my family. The service manager, Sungwoo, like his sister, the boss Mijin, are excellent hosts. Requests are taken into account and always in a friendly manner. I haven't had a single day where someone seemed stressed, even when the store was full. I can recommend every meal there. But what I like to eat the most are the Dongas or the Kimchi Jjigae. It was made with a lot of love. So real soul food. Definitely it won't be the last time I will visit this restaurant.

Im Sommer einen großen Bereich draußen, wo man gemütlich sitzen kann. Wir bestellen aber auch oft und holen dann ab. Absolute Empfehlung der Laden!

I visited this place for the third time. All three visits were satisfactory. The food is simple yet very refined. All of the working staff are very friendly. Living in Düsseldorf, I feel a bit far from going to this place. But even the distance has enough charm to make this restaurant a go-to. It is very difficult to cater to both local German and original Korean tastes. But this restaurant has done it. I look forward to the unchanging taste and kindness in the future.

Koreanisches Essen in einem sehr angenehmen Ambiente mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man sich kulinarisch mal etwas von Pizza und Döner entfernen will. Da das Restaurant sehr klein ist empfiehlt sich auch das vorherige reservieren eines Tisches. Die Speisen können aber als als Take-Away abgeholt und mitgenommen werden.

Von Düsseldorf, Duisburg und alle umliegenden Städte haben dieses Restaurant den besten Geschmack koreanischer Küche. Ich und meine Frau aßen heute abend jjamppong, Schnittzel ( sehr knusprig und zart) und Meeresfrüchte Weichtofu Suppe, und es war super lecker , bring dich zum Lachen. Absolut gerne weiterempfehlen und komme öfter wieder !

Waren am Samstag Abend dort mit Reservierung. Uns wurde ein Tisch direkt an der Tür zugewiesen. Es war im Laden sehr kalt was das Essen ziemlich ungemütlich machte. Ein Tischwechsel war leider nicht möglich. Während des Bestellens ist der Kellner mehrmals gegangen um Telefonate anzunehmen oder andere Gäste zu empfangen. Der Kellner war jedoch sehr freundlich. Das Essen war lecker, die Portionsgrößen sind dagegen aber ziemlich dürftig. Vorspeise und Hauptgang haben zum satt werden leider nicht gereicht. Daher kein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.
