Delicious fries and a frikandel... The service was initially a bit taciturn; no "Good day" or "Hello" upon entering the snack bar... but they were friendly later.

The tastiest Frikandel special outside of the Netherlands, and even better than many Dutch snack bars! Very friendly staff, and I highly recommend the warm sauce. It's absolutely fantastic value for money, and the fries are crispy and crunchy right up until the end, and despite the sauces on top, they don't get soggy. Much better than most fast-food restaurants, and the quality is higher than most fast-food restaurants. You'll be pampered here, and your taste buds will truly be delighted! I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Friture De Hollander on the beautiful edge of the Alps.

The food was delicious, the fries were crispy, and the curry sauce was delicious. The service was really friendly. We'd love to come back.

I ordered half a chicken. It was so tough and dry. I've never eaten chicken like that before. The fries were very dry. I won't be eating it again.

Everything was kind of mediocre. There's plenty of space outside, but it's loud. Everything seems neglected. The food was okay, but really not great.

We've been coming here for a few years now. Delicious fries, and everything else is great too. Large portions, almost impossible to finish.

Consumed 3 very dark schnitzels, 2 bland fried potatoes, 1 bland fries, and 4 drinks... so, the food was unfortunately really bad... very bad... but then they charge €55 for it? I still don't understand that.

If you enjoy delicious fries (among other things), you can't miss "de Hollander"! The staff is always very friendly and quick. You can always find a seat, whether inside or outside. The best chip shop in the area!

I've eaten there several times when I get a craving for delicious fries. The potato sticks are always well-fried, not soggy, fresh, and simply delicious. The peanut sauce is still great even after all these years and is one of my favorites. Add a special Frikandel and the day is saved. The staff is always friendly (they even laugh). Yes, the prices have gone up—like everywhere else—but for me, the quantity and, above all, the taste and quality are just right. Fast food without regrets. I'd gladly go back.

We've eaten at the store several times, and the food has always been very good quality and tasted excellent. Yes, there are cheaper stores, but there are also worse ones. Eating out has become expensive everywhere these days.

We've always been happy...but today it was a disaster. Some of the fries were still raw and the ones that were done were so over-fried - inedible. The currywurst sauce was spilled over the plate, making it an incredible mess. A new waitress with a foreign accent seemed very overwhelmed and didn't know the dishes on offer at all. Maybe re-training will help this employee :)

I can absolutely confirm all the negative reviews here. Far too expensive, unfriendly staff, poor quality of goods. I wonder if the employees realize what they're doing? I can't even say what bothers me more: all the money, the unfriendliness or just the bad food? Just bad. I'm so sorry, but urgent action is needed here.

My husband and I entered the snack bar at 8:10 p.m. and a very young lady looked annoyed and leaned forward on the counter and buried her face in her hands. After us came another family of five who, horrified, said loudly and clearly, "Oh no, right?!" welcomed. We were informed that you were only allowed to eat in the snack bar until 8:30 p.m. We said that would be okay for a quick portion of fries/currywurst... She started preparing the food and then asked if we could all take the food home with us because she didn't want to have to wash dishes until 10:30 p.m. The family of five came from further afield and we guests agreed that they would be welcome to serve the food on disposable dishes to save themselves the hassle of washing up. I don't think I've ever experienced such unfriendly, bored, annoyed, stroppy service. It's a shame that a snack bar scares away visitors with such unprofessional staff. We were there last time!

A small fries with currywurst costs eight euros is hard to explain. The sauce doesn't taste too thin like water and has nothing to do with a currywurst. The fries taste better on every kebab. The worst thing is that the waitress didn't stop whistling. She whistled the whole time and it was just annoying. The bottom line is that every kebab tastes better than here

This once really good chip ranch is now only a shadow of its former self. The very young waitress seemed overwhelmed with 5 people in the shop. One meal after another was prepared and served. After 15 minutes of waiting, the order was taken, then packaged carelessly after another 20 minutes. That means food was cold after 7 minutes of driving! Currywurst fries are not rocket science! The currywurst tasted like it had been warmed up three times and the fries were oh dear. This was definitely the last visit, although it is actually very close. Too bad. Change of ownership or what is the reason for the sharp decline in quality and the constantly rising price? A professional has to take over here again!

Not able to get any schnitzels because they were supposedly still frozen at around 6 p.m. Then how about thawing earlier? The next customer wanted meat rolls. Wasn't there either... Unfriendly service, making private calls all the time. She shouldn't do that! When I got home I unpacked my chicken. Maximum lukewarm, while the fries were nice and hot. Poultry should always be well cooked. That wasn't the case. Still no card payment possible... So nothing fits here. Conclusion. Not recommended!!!

You can let it go. Gyros are frozen and must be defrosted when ordered. Then it arrived black.

Haven't been there for years. Unfortunately a bitter disappointment today. Tiny portions at an exorbitant price. Never again.

We can confirm that it used to be a good and, above all, tasty snack bar. Just today we were disappointed again (and for the last time). First of all we were given the wrong order. When we complained, 20 minutes later, we were told that we had taken the wrong bag. The bag was handed to us. At home the food was ice cold and again something was missing. Unfortunately, the prices are now almost outrageous. We paid 30 euros for 2 fries with sauce, a curry meatball and half a chicken. The chicken was more of a chicken. We are happy to pay a little more for a good snack and good service. Unfortunately, both are missing here.

We were there for the first time. As soon as they arrived and asked questions, the ladies weren't very happy about the customers' friendliness. To eat there was a fork and no knife, well Frikandel were then cut with a fork. But the worst thing was that the fries were fried way too long or too high. They were absolutely not tasty and tasted like fat, which was too often used too hot. Then when collecting 4 euros too much can happen when doing the calculations and so part of it was given back. But once again both ladies had no desire to do the math and were then allowed to hold on to just under one euro. We were actually looking for a snack bar where we could drive to a large area, but we won't try it here again. Normally there is always a second chance but not here. In any case, it has nothing to do with a snack bar from the Netherlands

VERY, very nice service, the food is brought to the table. It is lovingly prepared and tastes... You can sit outside, under a parasol or in the shade of an olive tree, or you can opt for a spot in the sun... you can also sit inside, it's nicely decorated there, but not nearly as relaxing... ........ The extraordinary chip shop is located next to the Jet gas station in Alpen.....a detour is definitely worth it!!! I was there today, July 22, 24 Meanwhile, the fries are served in salad bowls. So the portions are big!!! It was a bit strange for me, I prefer a plate, but it suited my granddaughter just fine. The best Frikandel special with fries special with warm sauce.....delicious!! Last time I wanted to eat chicken, it was overly crispy and very old... that wasn't great...

The portions are sufficiently large. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly and prepares the food quickly. It's nice that you can eat inside or outside. For 5 people 65 euros is sporty. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the entrance.

Today my wife bought chicken and fries around 12pm. At home the surprise came: the skin of the chicken had been in the deep fryer for too long and the skin was as hard as coal and the rest was dried out. The staff should be trained. This shop is not recommended. School grade 6.

You have to be very careful that you actually get everything you ordered. Just again today. The mayonnaise was missing on the fries. But sometimes a whole portion was missing. Jägerschnitzel with fries and mayo! You don't want to believe it but it's like that, 20 euros. Yes, it has increased from 7% to 19% in VAT for the catering industry, but that doesn't justify this price. I don't eat there anymore. I believe that with these prices you will run your business even if it goes bankrupt. Remember, I'm writing about a so-called chip shop and not about a restaurant with a trained chef. 20 Euros! Laugh or cry, that is the question.

Super Auswahl an Gerichten. Die Qualität ist sehr gut und die Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Wir waren an einem Sonntag bei Friture de Hollander. Am liebsten würde ich keinen Stern geben. Vor uns waren 2 Leute in dem Laden. Nach unserer ausführlichen Bestellung, die auf einem Zettel notiert wurde.. mussten wir 45min vergeblich auf unser Essen warten. Auf Nachfrage, wusste die Bedienung nichts mehr von unserer Bestellung und setzte uns in Kenntnis das es nun noch 45min dauern würde bis unser Essen fertig sei. Wir waren mit 3 Kindern und 7 Erwachsenen dort. Das wir dann keine Lust haben, 90min auf Pommes zu warten ist ja selbstverständlich. Wir waren aber nicht die einzigen, die so abgespeist wurden. Mehrere Kunden um uns rum hatten das selbe Problem. Viele sind nach 1Std Wartezeit einfach gegangen. Meiner Meinung und Beobachtung nach, arbeiten diese beiden Angestellten nicht im Team sondern jeder für sich. So klappt es dann auch nicht. Es ist kein Wettkampf um die meisten Kunden. Es sollte ein Miteinander sein, dann klappt es auch mit den Bestellungen!!!

Die Dame ist immer unfreundlich egal wann wir hier essen. Zudem werden schon 3h vor Schließung alle Tische und Stühle abgeschlossen. Keine Salate.

2 Portionen pommes mit einer curryfricco plus 1 getränk knappe 17 euro schon heftig letzter besuch unserer seits. Beim Griechen imbiss keine 10€ Der hat wohl keine strom usw kosten

Moin - habe heute eine Fahrradtour nach Alpen gemacht und hier Pommes 🍟 Majo Ketchup gegessen. Pommes waren gut….. (3,50 Euro für die kleine Portion Pommes plus 1 Euro für Majo und Ketchup)….. aber leider maximal 3 Sterne 🌟…. (Gerade noch 3 Sterne) weil …. Man ca. 1/3 der Pommes nicht essen kann weil die Pommes in Ketchup-Soße und Majo „schwimmen“. Man kann ca. 1/3 der (relativ kleinen Portion für 3,50 Euro) einfach nicht essen, weil due in Ketchup und Majo „schwimmen“ ,-( Es gibt nur wegen der leckeren Pommes noch 3 Sterne - mein Tipp für den Inhaber… nur die Hälfte Majo und max. 1/3 Ketchup auf die Pommes - für dann auch weniger Euro - dann passt es gut. Waren heute 09.08.23 zum x-tenmal dort wieder essen aber wir kommen so schnell nicht wieder vorbei, die Wurst hat gar nicht geschmeckt.

Hier nutzt der Inhaber die Energiekriese aus. Die Fritten sind sehr lecker. Das meiste Personal ist sehr freundlich. Aber die Preise sind Restaurant tauglich. Machen wir uns nichts vor... für ein Jägerschnitzel 13€ ist sehr happig. Letztendlich ist es TIEFKÜHLWARE und FERTIGSOßE! Für 16€ esse ich ein frisch geklopftes Schnitzel im Restaurant? Energiekosten hin oder her... Preis Leistung stimmt gar nicht mehr.

Das man nichts mehr geschenkt bekommt ist schon klar aber die Preise sind schon grenzwertig erinnert mich an einem Italien Urlaub Trinkgeld incl. Es gibt andere die auf dem Boden geblieben sind Gott sei Dank

Spontan heute mittag für die Firma essen geholt und kurz Sprachlos von der Wunderschönen Dame hinter der Theke..essen war super und sie geht mir bis jetzt nicht aus dem Kopf 😅

Der Besuch hier war ganz ok. Das Ambiente ist draußen und drinnen in die Jahre gekommen. Der Service ist grob/freundlich. Das Essen leider so lala und verdammt teuer geworden. Mit 3 Personen 45€ für einen Imbiss bezahlt. Ich denke so schnell, werde wir hier nicht mehr essen gehen 😔

Wenn ich könnte, würde ich für das Essen, das Personal minus Sterne 🌟 geben. Das halbe Hähnchen war schon mehr als Tod und die Dame die mich/uns bedient hat, gab einem das Gefühl, das wir am liebsten nichts bestellen. Sehr unfreundlich auch.

Komme hier eigentlich regelmäßig hin. Leider war die Mitarbeiterin hinter der Theke sehr unfreundlich und konnte nicht nicht einmal den Kopf heben und guten Tag sagen. Dazu dann mittlerweile echt unverschämt teure Preise ! Kipcorn 4€...... Preis-Leistung passt hier leider nicht mehr.

Junge Dame an der Bedienung war total überfordert. Hat mich nicht verstanden, was ich mit Fricandel Special wollte. Erst bei Fleischrolle ging es weiter.

Gestern habe ich einen Eintopf mit Pilzen und Pommes gegessen. Hammer lecker. So lecker, als ob von selbst gekocht! Ich denke, saure Gurken würden gut dazu passen.

Essen ist wie immer lecker… allerdings ist die Bedienung mit den kurzen pinken Haaren extrem unfreundlich.. wird wohl mein letzter Besuch sein.
