Overpriced for the taste The fries are not crispy, th garlic fries barely register as having garlic in them, not really salted, and yeah, too expensive. Plus the wait is quite long for mediocre fries at best.

We were visiting Hamburg and were always looking for quick, vegan food. At Frittenwerk we discovered the vegan currywurst and pimped it with some jalepenos. The store has another room on the first floor that is very stylish and very cozy. We stayed here twice during our week-long stay and were very satisfied! Keep it up! #vegan

Unfortunately nothing special. Way too expensive for some fries and gravy. Had chili fries, the soy shreds in them weren't very tasty.

My daughter's favorite restaurant in the city center (who, by the way, is currently writing this review :) The vegan sauces are really tasty and the fries are very healthy. I would recommend sitting upstairs because the first floor is much quieter and has a nice green decor. It has a central location near the Rathausmarkt and the Europapassage. Have fun with your visit and bon appetit from my father too.

We were with you for the first time today. That was really extremely tasty 😋.

We ordered vegan curry sausages. We were served meat instead. We only noticed this because when we tried the same portion, the sausage looked different. After it was pointed out, it was simply laughed off and replaced. As a vegan, this is an absolute no-go as the sausage has already been eaten. Neither an apology nor any kind of friendliness from the employee! Doesn't work at all...

Modern and cozy, here you can not only get your favorite fries but also fine beer and a beautiful view for free.

There is no better place for a fries lover! So many sauces to choose from. Absolutely loved it. I am vegan and this is a vegan friendly place. What you see is a Bolofritten with vegan mayonnaise. Wouldn’t hurt you to try vegan sometime. Tastes more delicious😉 It’s close to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof. You can grab a quick bite or sit in the aesthetic restaurant and enjoy your fries.

- My order was forgotten today, I waited for almost 30 minutes, even though there were over 6 employees on site, everything was very slow and unmotivated, but there was still a small rush. -Unfortunately, since I didn't have a receipt because it apparently wasn't refilled (self-pay checkout), I had to repeat myself several times and describe my situation. Once I was called but my order wasn't on the table so my order was no longer displayed in the system perceived as choppy, there was nothing more and compensation - Almost all the tables upstairs were dirty because many customers left their things and left, even though the employees perceived it that way, everything stayed that way - Unfortunately the toilets weren't clean either

A really great store with a great selection of everything your heart desires.

After trying the Frittenwerk in Koblenz and Cologne and being disappointed on both visits, we thought we would still give the Frittenwerk in Hamburg a chance. Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that you often don't get a second chance to make a first impression. Our orders were prepared at different times, so one dish was already cold by the time the second was prepared. We waited a full 25 minutes for the second dish. Mind you, while standing in front of the checkout. This is far too long for a fast food restaurant. The team that prepared the dishes was hopelessly overwhelmed. There were 6 people behind the counter and didn't know what to do. They got in each other's way instead of working. Meanwhile, an employee was sitting on the floor behind the counter eating fries. Another employee wore jewelry like she was at a wedding and had artificial fingernails. Very unprofessional and unhygienic! The currywurst was extremely soft and had no taste. Every chip shop around the corner has better fries. The atmosphere is nice, as is the location. The supposed hipster design, despite all the love, cannot hide the poor quality of the food and the unprofessionalism of the employees. We were very disappointed and do not recommend Frittenwerk to anyone.

Exciting french fries menus. Difficult to choose! Good dressings. Nice toilets. Seating outside and inside. Many people so there was a long wait. Fun detail with celebrities' names on orders rather than numbers.

We went into the chip factory full of anticipation. First stop, long line but you had time to place orders via order terminals (like at McDonalds) 15 to 20 minutes later we got our order. For 3 sweet potato fries with sauce about 22 euros. Unfortunately, our fries were all a bit greasy. We're not people who complain straight away, but that was intense. Not crispy, dripping with fat and really tastes terrible. It's a shame, we really expected more. Maybe we were just unlucky. The service people were very friendly and the atmosphere, especially in the upper area, was very cool. Toilets very clean.

Good concept & ambience. Currywurst with fries, well seasoned. a lot of sauce - big drawback: fries were extremely limp and cold. That's not possible for a concept store called FRITTENwerk 🙄

We were thrilled by the Frittenwerk on Jungfernstieg! The selection is great – fries with that certain something! For just under 30 euros we got two portions of fries with drinks. The amount? See photo, it was definitely sufficient. The store was pretty busy, which probably shows it's popular. It was also 6 p.m. at Jungfernstieg, which is always busy. Despite the rush, our order was ready for pickup in 10 minutes - very impressive! The food was delicious and we really liked the green, plant-based decoration. Almost like in the jungle. All in all, a visit is definitely worth it!

Wir waren am Abend um etwa 19:30 Uhr beim Frittenwerk und obwohl es relativ voll war, war sofort ein Bestell-Screen frei und wir konnten schnell unsere Bestellung aufgeben. Wir haben uns für die Hausfritten und zwei verschiedene Dips zum mitnehmen entschieden und das nicht bereuht. Wir waren zuerst unsicher, ob die Portion für den kleinen Preis von etwa 4€ wirklich groß genug ist, aber die Portionsgröße war mehr als großzügig. Geschmacklich waren sowohl die Fritten als auch die zwei Dips (Zitronen-Ajoli und Hot & Cheesy) unglaublich lecker. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

They're not good enough for the fact that it's just fries. But also very expensive. Unfortunately very disappointed.

C’est assez bon mais hors de prix pour ce que c’est. Chaque sauce supplémentaire coûte entre 0,70€ et 1,20€, juste pour des tout petits pots de sauces industrielles. On s’en tire pour facile 15€ par personne juste pour des frites améliorées. Trop cher, on paye un concept, une déco.

Came here twice during my 5 days stay in Hamburg. Ordering through the kiosk was seamless and there are options for other languages, making it easy for me to understand and order. The Currywurst with fries are delicious and the garnishes makes it so appetising. Staff was friendly and served with a smile as well. There are much more seats in the 2nd level and the entire space looks cosy and well furnished/decorated. Will come back in heartbeat.

Super delicious! Portions are just right and the fries are so good! The waiting time was okay, but we were there exactly at lunchtime. Service was very friendly and there is a nice atmosphere especially upstairs.

Can't understand the hype, prices are absurdly expensive and the taste is a disappointment. Standard fries, the toppings don't cut it either, the jalapenos are mild instead of hot, the "doner kebab" - chicken from the pan not from the skewer with too many pieces of fat is more reminiscent of frozen goods from the discounter and the currywurst is just a disaster. Better to go to the Mö Grill a few meters further.
