Very cool place and food was awesome. We had the Currywurst and chicken shawarma! Could have easily shared but everything looked too good to not try more than one.

Ordered vegan curry sausage but got a real one. It doesn't work at all and then not even an apology or refund!!!

First and last visit here. Had to order at the counter and it took quite a while to get everything. The fries were lukewarm and soggy, maybe it was because of the cold sauce that was on the fries... We didn't like it at all.

15€ spent and not even remotely full! I paid over €5 for the currywurst, just for a few pieces, and it didn't taste good at all. Real disappointment

We had an issue with a product and a staff member (we assume manager) noticed that and went out of his way to improve our experience there. Since we are travelling, there is a relatively small chance for us to return here. However we will definitely recommend a at least short stop to our friends, if they decide to travel to Hamburg. All in all, we enjoyed the both times we went there.

Unfortunately there was no hello or anything when I came in. Ordering via the terminal was ok. Prices in our opinion, far too expensive. We ordered 9 pieces of falafel and one portion of sweet potato fries plus sauce. Food came quickly. Falafel (very small balls) with beetroot hummus tasted very meatball-like, and the sauce didn't taste like anything. Fries weren't crispy and tasted unsalted. Unfortunately, sour cream didn't taste like anything either. Unfortunately no reason to come back.

Ich war mindestens schon 15 mal da und jedes einzelne mal hat es sich gelohnt. Einfach super lecker und das Personal ist immer sehr freundlich. Außerdem ist die Inneneinrichtung wirklich schön und trägt zu einer gemütlichen Atmosphäre bei. Ich bin ein riesen Fan, wird auf jeden Fall weiter empfohlen:)

We had the MONTREAL STYLE POUTINE fries, the AVOCADO CHICKEN BOMBS and the BLACK & WHITE churros for dessert. The food was very tasty and a must for fries fans!!!

Unfortunately a disappointment. The sweet potato fries were cold - really cold. I looked longingly out of the window at the McDonald's opposite... The normal fries were slightly warmer, the currywurst was dry and the soda tasted artificial. It wasn't comfortable either on the plastic chairs between all the plastic plants. There were fries from the previous guests on and under the table - apparently the tables here are not wiped down. Even the garbage was overflowing. And all of this for a very proud price!

We ordered garlic fries and cheese n chilli fries, both were delicious and tasted very fresh. We used the kiosk to order at the entrance which was very efficient and gave us enough time to explore the various options listed in the menu. Highly recommended!!

First time at Frittenwerk. Seen in the picture: fries with gravy / mozzarella & sweet potato fries. I love fries and these were very tasty, really crispy. Portion size good, price rather above average per portion (they're just fries, but great fries!). Waiting time for lunch (Tuesday) was also okay. Well-kept & beautiful ambience. Rustic / vintage - chic. 10/10

Was at the Frittenwerk Hamburg at the beginning of the year and I have to say, everything was done 100% right. The store is TOP. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff is super friendly and quick. The toilets 10/10 clean. But the best thing is of course the fries, nice and crispy, perfectly seasoned and the toppings are amazing. I tried the Chilli-Chesse Fries and they tasted really good. There are also many vegetarian options, so there is really something for everyone. The portions are decent and the prices are absolutely fair. Perfect if you're in the mood for something delicious, whether in between meals or for a leisurely meal. If I'm in Hamburg again, I'll eat here. Kind regards from Dortmund 🔥

We had sweet potato fries and sausage. The fried food was very good, and the inside of the sausage was juicy. We also ordered fried sausage, but it was okay.

Had dinner there with my husband today. Mega delicious, super portion and taste-wise a 10/10. The staff were very helpful and friendly! Finally chilli cheese fries that deserve the name❤️ My entire mouth is still burning after 20 minutes 🤣❤️

The employees are very nice and accommodating. Individual wishes are taken into account and asked again at the table whether everything is OK. Friendly and attentive! The food is very good!

Fries great, supply chain sometimes a bit chaotic and slow, a display for the delivery status or the names called would be nice because you can't understand the employees when it's full and loud, and I also want to listen to music or podcasts while waiting or go out to wait . And what is the bar upstairs actually for? Even after over 30 visits, I've never seen anyone there :-) Addendum: Update to 5 stars, there is now an online tracker for orders and a bell at the bar.

Very nice atmosphere, the currywurst was delicious, you can't complain about that.

I always like to come back because everything is just fine. Price/performance ratio may not be the strongest, but there was never any reason to complain about the food or service. It tastes really good, there is also a good vegan and vegetarian selection, and the quantity is right too. I recommend the Pink Persia Poutine! The fact that cardboard bowls and wooden forks are always used, which then end up in the trash, is probably not the most sustainable option, but unfortunately it is fast food standard.

Even one star is TOO MUCH!!! Adding four euros for a UNIT SIZE OF COFFEE (one sip) is a bargain!!! NOT RECOMMENDED!

Always good but the quality has decreased in the last year There were fewer fries, the guacamole was no longer fresh, the tomatoes were still fresh, but due to the moisture or maybe water, all the fries underneath were completely soggy, I remembered it differently and in the case of the garlic fries it even greased the coated shell . My girlfriend and my brother, with whom I was there this time, who had been there several times before, were also very disappointed.

We were in Hamburg from Dortmund, I have to say it was an absolutely awesome shop! The ambience and the look are simply great. The food is fresh and beautifully prepared, the eye eats with it ;) Last but not least, and what I find particularly important, the staff! Everyone is very friendly and accommodating, we would like that a little more in Dortmund 😂 The store is a recommendation!

Deposit at Frittenwerk Unfortunately, my visit to the Frittenwerk in Hamburg left a very negative impression. Although there is a €0.15 deposit for each bottle, there are empty drink crates prominently placed throughout the restaurant. These tempt customers to simply put their deposit bottles in the boxes instead of demanding the deposit back. In the 40 minutes I spent in the otherwise beautifully designed store, I counted a total of 15 bottles that were carelessly placed in these boxes. This system is not new: I have already criticized the same scam in a review of the Frittenwerk in Oberhausen. The same practice is apparently also used in Hamburg to keep the deposit without making it easier for customers to return it. It seems like a deliberate rip-off at the expense of the guests. It is disappointing that Frittenwerk continues to operate in this manner. My impression is that this is not just a coincidence, but a proven system to enrich yourself unnoticed from deposit bottles. Unfortunately, this overshadows the otherwise positive impression of the restaurant.

We were there right after the holidays. Luckily it was very quiet upstairs, even though there was a lot going on downstairs. The atmosphere is super nice, totally inviting and cozy. The service was great! From recommending churros to ordering from Fabian to bringing them to the table – everything was perfect. Even with our little mishap with the latte glass, he was totally attentive and helpful. Thank you again for that! Only the checkout area is a bit inconvenient because it gets congested when there is a lot of activity and you have to go through a bit to get to the upper area. I found the prices for the fries a bit steep and the portions rather small… that's why only 4 stars. But the fries were super tasty! That's why we'll definitely come back. And many thanks again to Fabian for the super nice service – great!! (Hopefully I remember the name correctly) 😅. LG HA.

The “Rainbow Bowl” shows the concept of this system catering quite well. The main thing that is done systematically is saving. It's clear that among all the great ingredients in the menu picture, it feels like 60% is leaf lettuce from the ready-made bag. But then you can at least drape the amount of bowl ingredients on it that the picture suggests and not a teaspoon of quinoa, 5 cubes of avocado or falafel the size of a 2 euro coin. Given the price you might expect a little more...

Ladies and Gentlemen I was just eating something in your restaurant in Hamburg and when I received my order promptly I realized that there was no seat available, so I had to hold my tray myself and eat while standing. You invest so much money in good food quality and then an imbalance arises at the crucial point because the concept does not provide for standing room? Your restaurant manager said he understood me but what should he do. Are you celebrating your 10th anniversary? I'm sure I won't be the only customer who suddenly finds themselves in a very unpleasant situation. Digitalization actually makes it possible to display the utilization of the available space. It's a shame that your restaurant stands out negatively for me on a Saturday. Kind regards Jens August
