Simply a huge recommendation! Wonderfully cozy atmosphere. The outdoor area is also really great. The operator and the waitresses are a dream! Really genuine friendliness! (unfortunately you rarely find it anymore) The food is super delicious! Would have deserved much more than just 5 stars! Thank you!!!

We spontaneously went for lunch today on German Unity Day. The owner, Ms. Butter, greeted us in a friendly and good mood. The restaurant is rustically furnished and you feel comfortable. The menu was not overloaded, but rich and varied. The drinks menu is extremely diverse. We received our food quickly, which was extremely well prepared and tasty. We'd love to come back!

Great atmosphere with delicious food and (child) friendly staff. We didn't have to wait long and were able to enjoy a delicious steak, pumpkin soup and a tarte flambée. We'd love to come back.

Yesterday we were in this great restaurant with a beer garden. It was beautiful and very comfortable. The service and the very friendly boss were like busy bees. The selection of food is great. It tasted great too. Keep it up, we'll definitely be back. 👍.

Mrs. Butter and her team are quick and friendly to everyone...the singing landlady also serenades special guests who have something to celebrate. You feel comfortable in the large green garden, where there are only fresh plants and flowers on the tables. You sit in the courtyard next to the restaurant and not on the street. Of course there are also nice places inside. The food is lovingly and decoratively arranged and tastes like good home cooking should taste. Tip: It's better to reserve in advance, as it is usually very well booked.

Very pretty beer garden in the courtyard away from the street. It is still very lively as the garden is very large and has plenty of seating. We only had the pretzels, but they were really warm and delicious with the butter and cream cheese. Drink selection is generous. The price-performance ratio is already in the higher segment, especially for the drinks.

One of the best restaurants in the Dresden area, Ms. Butter is an entertainer, yesterday she performed off the cuff “it was only the bossa Nova’s fault”. So warm and friendly. The food is without exception fresh, very well seasoned and tasty, the drinks menu ranges from the popular Affogato to the Wildberry Lillet.

We spent a very pleasant evening there. The food was extremely tasty, the service was fantastic and we were regularly asked whether we needed anything else and whether everything was to our satisfaction. Absolutely recommended! ❤️

Very rude service who told our children not to dirty the floor in the restaurant because it was raining outside and called our group of children a horde. Impossible tone towards the kids who were still affected by it hours later. One star for the service is already too much. When you eat you will find blueberries, strawberries and melon on every plate and dish.

We reserved a table today (July 13th). When we got to the beer garden, we really liked the atmosphere. The service was great and the food was excellent too. I can highly recommend the restaurant. We felt completely welcome.

The nice inner courtyard made us stop for a break. There were plenty of places available. We chose a large bench. No “Reserved” sign or anything like that on it. We hadn't yet sat properly when we were rudely told that this bench was for larger groups. But this “larger group” did not exist. There would also have been many more benches. We were supposed to implement ourselves and but we didn't want to. That's why we went again. A sign saying “large groups only” would have been sufficient. Then we wouldn't have sat there and could have left more stars after tasting. So there is only one of us.

On the recommendation of a friend, we stopped at Ms. Butter's on our way to Dresden. The service in the summer garden was very courteous and the Saxon sauerbraten was a delight. We'd love to come back!

We celebrated an 80th birthday. It was beautiful and we felt very comfortable.

We were there spontaneously. It was full and we received a very friendly welcome despite the stress. The food was amazing. If I could give 10 stars... you would deserve them. Finally found a new favorite spot.

The atmosphere was quite nice - but that was mainly due to the great weather. I can't say anything about the interior. We weren't impressed with the food. It would be ok if it wasn't so incredibly expensive. But I expect more for that! There is also a star deduction for the completely overworked service staff. Before we were served for the first time, we sat around for 25 minutes without even getting a card. Some of the drinks were then forgotten and we also waited forever for the bill. Our waitress was nice, though. I deducted another star for the dirty wine glasses that were put in front of us. That doesn't work at all. We probably won't come back.

It's unclear to me where the top reviews come from, I had to check twice to see if it was the same restaurant. My food is mediocre - the marrow vegetables were overcooked, the baked potatoes were in the oven too long or warmed up too often. Unfortunately, the service wasn't relaxed with the children and didn't strike the right tone. The toilets are unkempt.

Yesterday we spontaneously went to eat at the “Fr. Butter” restaurant. We received a super friendly welcome. The restaurant is furnished with a lot of love. It's cozy and you feel good. The outdoor area was also beautifully and tastefully decorated. The food tasted very, very tasty! We received very friendly service the entire time. At the end there was even a short tour of the rooms on the upper floor. You can also see a lot of attention to detail in these rooms. Overall, I was happy with everything. It was definitely not the last visit to Mrs. Butter. Thank you for the lovely hospitality and see you soon 😊.

Today we visited the Frau Butter restaurant with my family. It's cozy there, we felt like we were at home. The service was very nice and the food was delicious and the portions were large so that everyone found something for themselves. We will definitely come back😁😁😁

Went there spontaneously today. Very tasty food. It all looks very nice. The beer garden is very cozy.

We ordered a table at 1 p.m.... 1:40 p.m. after repeated inquiries the order was taken. But nothing came... After asking again, we were told that the cash register had crashed. This could have been communicated earlier. We then canceled the order and left. The staff seemed very overwhelmed and there were loud discussions at the counter. The ambience itself isn't bad, it's just that the huge stuffed animals don't fit in there somehow.

We all didn't like the food - it looks nicer than it tastes. We wouldn't come again

Das Ambiente ist zwar schön, aber Preis/Leistung lassen sehr zu wünschen übrig. Als wir bezahlen wollten, wurden wir gefragt, ob wir bar oder mit Karte bzw. mit welcher Karte wir bezahlen wollen . Wir äußerten dass wir mit Kreditkarte bezahlen wollen. Als die Rechnung kam, waren bei der Hauptspeise die Kosten der Kreditkartenbuchung mit aufgeschlagen! Das fanden wir sehr krass. Wir werden dieses Restaurant nie wieder besuchen!

If you're in the area, you just have to eat there. It was such a lovely evening with good food. When we visited Meißen we were looking for a restaurant, but we didn't want the classic tourist restaurant, but rather something nice. We found what we were looking for with Ms. Butter. We were lucky and got a table without a reservation. An hour later we would have been out of luck, so better make a reservation. Zun to eat. There is a small memory card, which is probably replaced again and again. We were there in April and had issue 4/2024. There were also seasonal dishes on the menu here. We had asparagus cream soup, tomato cream soup, half duck with red cabbage and dumplings and Wiener schnitzel with fries. Wow, everything was super delicious. And the service, just great. People love their job here. Absolutely to suggest.

Full marks and rightly so to the restaurant, the kitchen and above all the service including the boss :-) The four of us spontaneously went to the restaurant at lunchtime on Sunday, my wife, my parents and I were thrilled. We will come back! Every guest who came in a little later was informed that there could be bottlenecks in the kitchen that day and that longer waiting times could be expected. Great, because people can still talk to each other here! This is what makes a restaurant special: it treats its guests so openly and fairly! Einladend, aber leider enttäuschend... Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Der Service freundlich, aber leider überfordert. Es dauert alles sehr lange. Dafür konnten wir Verständnis finden. Leider entsprach das Essen gar nicht den Erwartungen und auch nicht dem Preis. Das Gemüse war vollkommen salz- und gewürzlos. Die Kartoffeln nicht richtig durch, die Suppe lauwarm und der Salat ertrank in Unmengen süßem Dressing. Sehr schade.

After a wonderful day in Dresden, we wanted to end it with a great dinner and stopped at "Frau Butter". The first impression was a small and cozy restaurant where you can feel comfortable. BUT THEN! We were warmly welcomed and given a table for 5 people with a time slot of 1 1/2 hours, which was ok for us. After receiving the cards we were able to place our drinks order, we only received a rude look for not having already chosen our food. After a while (too long for a restaurant that wasn't very busy at the time) the drinks arrived (one was forgotten) and we were able to order. Our 9 year old son literally ordered the dish chicken breast fillet with pasta and tomato sauce (children's dish). The food itself came quickly, only our son did not receive his chosen dish but instead salad with chicken breast strips and tagliatelle, somehow a huge difference??? We then asked the female waiter that it was the wrong dish. The answer we got was "He didn't say he wanted the children's dish and so he put it in. Anything he couldn't manage could be packed up. The waitress simply understood Not that the child had chosen and ordered something else. And didn't want to take back the wrong dish because it would take too long to make the right dish. In the end we only got the tomato sauce for the tagliatelle. No further conversation was possible. When we paid, they didn't speak to us anymore and just presented the bill. The service of a restaurant creates the first impression and should adequately accompany the guest until the end of the evening, which was definitely not the case here. It was a shame for the kitchen, because it did a great job. The dishes were very tasty and attractively prepared. Because of the service staff I won't be drawn there anymore. Additionally, something needs to be done about the general cleanliness of the dining area.

Mrs. Butter's tastes just like mother's. You can eat up and down the menu, bringing back childhood and kindergarten memories. Handmade and homemade with love, no frills. Invisible service, but always there when you need it. Great old-fashioned atmosphere, like my grandma's. Really makes you feel good. Keep it up!

Today we celebrated Mrs. Butter's birthday. We were in a separate room with 12 people, including 2 babies. The food was very tasty, the service was very nice, there were lots of toys for children. However, I noticed a major disadvantage in the first few minutes. My 11 month old baby crawled 5 meters on the floor and afterwards his clothes looked totally dirty (see pictures). One had the feeling that the last people eating in this room were a group of farmers who had just come straight into the restaurant from working in the fields. I'm not talking about it being super clean. But normally clean, that's part of gastronomy. So today our children played on the dirty floor at Mrs. Butter's and we ate in the dirt, ate deliciously.

I've experienced everything in terms of service here in 5 visits. From exuberantly polite, rough behind the scenes to rabid today: “That’s total bullsh(…) what you’re doing!” The “nice” man could have simply asked us nicely to occupy a different table than him saw that there were only two of us plus the baby. I have no idea what was wrong with him, but then he was senselessly stomping around our daughter (9 months) as she sat on the floor and played sweetly. A pity. Ambience great, food good, but something is going on with the people there. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

Mrs. Butter is always worth a visit! You enter a rustic, cozy beer garden at the farm gate and the lovingly designed half-timbered house invites you to stay. Ms. Butter, a kind-hearted woman with an equally always friendly team that is unfortunately too small, makes every guest feel welcome. The food is very tasty, high quality and freshly prepared. Discovered this incredibly beautiful restaurant by chance. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. The ambience is fantastic, the service was great - even the boss came to our table. We were here for dinner yesterday. The nice gentleman told us he was a temporary worker. That didn't detract from the whole thing. We were very satisfied. So much so that today, instead of in beautiful Dresden, we came here again at the request of our children. We were happy to comply with the request. Nice ambience. The temporary service took 45 minutes to bring the drinks. We sat there for almost an hour without him asking us about our food. We then asked him to take our order. The bottle of wine we ordered didn't arrive. A medium-sized veal Wiener Schnitzel costs €35. The schnitzel had no bubbles. The fries were good.

Service is super nice. The food is not only beautiful but also wonderfully delicious. The toilets are super clean and just beautiful.

Wonderful atmosphere with friendly and experienced staff. With light humor and politeness as well as wonderful food. Stuffed chicken breast was very good as was the Barberi duck. Our mouse thought the children's schnitzel with fries was very good. You have to visit this restaurant. In summer there are many cozy places outside and the little ones don't miss out. The toilets are clean and well maintained. We'd love to come back.

Wir waren ohne Bestellung am Freitag im Restaurant, weil uns die einladende Atmosphäre gefiel. Obwohl es sehr voll war, hat es die Gastgeberin geschafft uns einen Tisch anzubieten. Unheimlich gemütlich, wahnsinnig herzlich. Hier wird noch der Service gelebt. Selten so gut gesessen, ich hatte Salat mit Ziegenkäse, sowohl die Optik als auch der Geschmack sensationell. Es war ein so gelungener Abend, das wir am nächsten Abend gleich nochmals das Restaurant aufgesucht haben. Vielen herzlichen Dank. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Wir haben eine sehr leckere Gänsekeule mit Rotkohl und Klößen verspeisen dürfen. Wir mussten zwar 55 min darauf warten, aber es hat sich gelohnt. Frau Butter hat sich sogar für die Wartezeit entschuldigt, da sie zwei große Gruppen im OG zu versorgen hatten. Immer wieder wurde sich bei uns erkundigt, ob alles ok sei. Die Getränke und der Nachtisch waren im Nu auf dem Tisch. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich. Wir kommen gern wieder. Vielen Dank.

Wir waren im August im schönen Altkötschenbroda und hatten einen tollen Abend im Restaurant „Frau Butter“. Ein gemütlicher Biergarten lädt zum Verweilen ein. Auch dort war der Fachkräftemangel angekommen. Die Servicekräfte taten aber ihr Bestes, um das den Gast nicht spüren zu lassen. Übrigens ein bisschen mehr Verständnis für diese Situation stände einigen Gästen gut zu Gesicht. Wir wurden super freundlich bedient und das Essen war einfach der Hammer! Die Vorspeise war als Überraschung umschrieben... und es war eine Überraschung! Wir können dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen und haben bereits in unserem Freundeskreis tüchtig geworben für Altkötschenbroda und „Frau Butter“.

Wir waren heute hier zum Essen. Ein Top Service. Wir würden sehr freundlich bedient. Sehr sehr Kinderlieb ist man hier. Die Gaststube ist sehr sehr gemütlich. Dass Essen wurde echt fein zubereitet, nicht nur augenscheinlich, auch geschmacklich ein Genuss. Wir kommen gerne wieder und freuen uns jetzt schon drauf.

Uriges Lokal mit sehr guter deutscher Küche zu fairen Preisen. Service Personal sehr freundlich. Sehr gutes Zeitmanagement. Kinderspielecke im Innenbereich und im Außenbereich mit Sandkasten und Spielhaus. Nur zu empfehlen.

Ein wunderschöner herzlicher Empfang und sehr gutes Essen in gutbürgerlicher Küche. Total gemütlich und originell eingerichtet.
