Fränkischer Gasthof - Hotel "Zum Koppen" in Gemünden a.Main

Hello, dear readers, I was very surprised by the hotel. It was very clean. The bathroom was also new and very comfortably furnished. We also slept very well there.

The breakfast buffet was very varied and beautifully prepared. Unfortunately, there were no bakery rolls, and the fresh sausage didn't look like it came from a butcher's shop. Then there was a heated argument with the stressed-out owner. I packed myself a sandwich without asking. As a result, I was loudly insulted in front of all the guests and treated like a thief. I was told that I had packed the sandwich in front of all the guests, so I could be reprimanded in front of all the guests. I had to pay an extra €5.00 for the sandwich and an apple. Apparently, I wouldn't have had to pay anything if I had asked. The other guests who also took something (I observed this) were not bothered. I have never been treated like this as a guest!

Extremely extensive good breakfast

We stayed at the Hotel Koppen for one night for the Tanzinsel festival. We were fortunate enough to be able to check in a little early and arrive in peace. The room was very clean, and the breakfast the next day was a real highlight, so the price for the night was well-deserved.

Hospitality is a top priority at the Franconian Gasthof zum Koppen. The welcome upon our arrival was warm, and the room was comfortably furnished and clean. The breakfast buffet the next morning offered an extensive selection, with cold cuts and cheese served at the table and freshly prepared egg dishes. You'll feel completely at home here. The inn now only offers bed and breakfast. The restaurant can only be booked for celebrations and family gatherings.

Unfriendly staff...you shouldn't disturb the staff

Nice hotel, somewhere between classic and modern (rooms). Very friendly and attentive service (upon arrival and at breakfast). The room was very clean. The breakfast had everything you could need, and most of it was fresh. Overall, very satisfied. The only minor things I didn't like were that the shower gel was only available in tiny sachets, which were difficult to open (awkward under a running shower), and the hot water took a full minute (neither of which was very long-lasting).

The hotel impresses with its “traditional” charm and very friendly people! My room was functionally furnished - but everything was there and I slept well. It's all very clean! the breakfast was great!

Unfortunately there is no longer a public restaurant,

I got a fine for parking 20 euros + car damage + cold water in the room and the hotel owner didn't inform me where there were free free parking cats just trouble in Germany

I would like to share my experiences with the hotel where I celebrated my wedding. The advice was simply great and of the highest quality. Everything fit so perfectly and all of my wishes were implemented. I would particularly like to highlight Ms. Jutta Richter. She is an incredibly warm and helpful person who always made sure that everyone was happy. The wedding menu and food were just perfect! Everything tasted wonderful and there was something for everyone. The atmosphere was simply fantastic and my guests were thrilled. The hospitality was outstanding and I can recommend this hotel a thousand percent. If you asked me if I would do it again, I would say yes without hesitation. I stayed for two nights after running the Taubertal 100 mile race and Jutta was very nice and both breakfasts I eat were really lovely.

So far, the room was fine for one night. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, everything was there. Very centrally located near the city center and the Main River.

Unfortunately, the restaurant is currently closed. Only breakfast is served. The rooms are functional. The location isn't ideal, as it's right next to the road and railway line.

In terms of price performance, it's okay. Location in Gemünden is great right in the city center. We were there for the festival, so you can just walk there. Breakfast was good but nothing special. The staff is very reduced and everything is designed for this...

Ein sehr tradionsträchtiges Hausmitten in der schönen Altstadt. Das Zimmer war schön renoviert und wir durften auf Anfrage, die sofort beantwortet wurde, unser Gepäck vorzeitig abgeben während einer Kajaktour. Ganz tolles Frühstück mit frischen Beeren und allem, was man sich wünscht. Leider war das Restaurant geschlossen wegen Personalmangel, sehr schade.

Tolles Hotel. Große Zimmer. Restaurant zur Zeit geschlossen. Sehr nettes Personal. Im Ort gibt es nicht all Zuviel Locations, je nach Wochentag.

Sehr ansprechendes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet. Antikes trifft Moderne. Die Gastleute sind sehr nett und das Frühstück war perfekt. Jederzeit wieder.
