Yesterday we had an anniversary celebration in Forster's garden. Everything went as planned, pleasant atmosphere, wide selection of different dishes, all of which were very tasty and beautifully presented. The staff was very friendly and attentive, no glass remained empty for long. Respect to the whole team, we'll be happy to come back.

We went to Forsters Garden for the first time today. In terms of concept, it's an interesting store that doesn't exist again in Kassel. I had the barbecue burger, which at 19.99 euros is already a proud price - especially when you have to order the fries for an extra 5 euros. Unfortunately, the burger overall was rather disappointing. There was quite a lot of meat and the taste was good, but the rest seemed more like convenience: simple rolls, probably packaged, ready-made BBQ sauce, fried onions without any sophistication. The bun was toasted too long and therefore dry. Overall it tasted okay, but just wasn't justified for the price. The service, on the other hand, was really friendly and attentive. Even though the store was pretty full, everything went quickly and we were well looked after. Overall, my friends' food was okay - not bad, but nothing special either. Unfortunately, a few of us later had slight stomach problems, which is of course particularly annoying given the prices. Conclusion: Interesting concept, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio doesn't suit me. The service was great, but because of the quality of the food I personally wouldn't go there again.

The winter garden is really nice for eating and the acoustics are also fine, despite a lot of visitors. It's also great that you can play billiards there and be well looked after. I'm already looking forward to the next time

The black and gold decoration created a sophisticated atmosphere that perfectly suited the occasion. The 14-year-old guests were thrilled and were incredibly happy! The buffet was varied and delicious, and the opportunity to play darts and table football provided lots of fun and entertainment. The location offers a great combination of stylish ambience and relaxed atmosphere - ideal for celebrations and special occasions. Not cheap, but first-class food, absolutely great. Were there on Sun. December 22nd. with 6 people. 5 ate different steaks with side dishes. Great meat, Fried to perfection. Sauces, rösti and salad also tasted excellent. And the staff is also very friendly. Gladly again 😀

Einfach top. Service Preis - Leistung klasse. Geschmack und Auswahl sehr gut. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Sehr schöner Laden.

The most important thing, the food is first class, but the time you wait is extreme. We waited almost 2 hours for the main course. Went there shortly before 6:30 p.m. and the main course arrived at 8:20 p.m. Main course, dessert and payment took over 3 hours!

Large portions, schnitzel ok, kangaroo tastes special, salmon unfortunately a bit undercooked, prices horrendous. Possibly understandable for Australian imports or from overseas. Some things, such as side dishes and desserts, are more reminiscent of system catering, which is certainly due to the higher number of seats. Ambiance more like a hall. Some of us were irritated by the fact that if the number of people is smaller, €35+ VAT per person will be charged after a reservation unless the number is changed 48 hours in advance. The tap water with the espresso is charged extra, which would be unusual in, say, priced restaurants. It was also somewhat annoying that all prices were raised significantly no more than two days before our company dinner. A notification would have been nice, at least if you had been in contact a few times anyway and expected the guests to be equally committed.

No restaurant, rather a loud station hall with extremely overwhelmed staff. You can expect a full house on Saturday evening. OK. We had reserved for 8 p.m. 2 people. We then got a table in a corner between the kitchen and the dining room. It was still dirty from previous guests and we had to ask for it to be wiped down. There was maximum traffic at the table. But the worst thing was that our table was constantly (!) used as a place to put trays. Completely disregarding the fact that we were sitting there and eating. I've never experienced that before. The drink was then forgotten. We waited an hour for the food (at least that was announced in advance). Overall, an extremely uncomfortable, incredibly unprofessional atmosphere and I really can't understand the good reviews here. Only the food was really tasty.

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant with a very large group of over 90 people while on a business trip and was thoroughly impressed. I would particularly like to highlight Niki: With her warm charisma, her humor and her relaxed manner, she managed to enchant us all. What was impressive was how she remembered many of the previous orders and often knew what we wanted before we even said it - a real masterpiece with such a large group! The rest of the team also did a great job. Despite the stressful situation, the staff always remained friendly, courteous and humorous. The relaxed and positive energy of the entire team was contagious, and you immediately noticed that the working atmosphere here is excellent. You would wish for this positive energy anywhere - it characterized the entire evening and gave us all a feeling of welcome and joy. About the food: We had a buffet that had a good selection. Everything I tried was delicious. If something was empty (which is understandable with such a large group), the staff could immediately tell you when it would be refilled - and the amazing thing was: the time given was accurate to the minute! It became clear here that everyone works hand in hand and offers great service. Unfortunately, because of the buffet, I wasn't able to try the large and varied selection on the regular menu, which I found to be a shame - that would definitely have been a highlight. What was particularly impressive was that the staff didn't notice at all that they were usually closed for a long time. Despite the late hour, we were allowed to sit for a long time and never felt rushed. We would also like to apologize for that - we completely lost track of the time and it flew by. The team's patience and positive attitude until the end was simply great. Many thanks to the entire team for a perfect and unforgettable evening. Please keep it up – you are a great example of what hospitality and service should look like. I'd love to come back when I get the chance!

Food was plentiful and fair value for money. Reservations recommended, especially Friday to Sunday! When playing billiards you have the choice between smoking and non-smoking areas. Of course there are darts too. Conclusion: perfect location for complete, entertaining evening planning!

A very nice restaurant, with a nice, quiet atmosphere and very nice and courteous staff. My friend had the schnitzel with a sauce for dipping and fries and I had a 300g rump steak with fries and there was also a very tasty sauce for dipping. To drink my friend had a Gin & Tonic which was very good and I had a very tasty Ipanema (non-alcoholic) All in all, it was a lovely evening with delicious food and drinks, the schnitzels were juicy and the steak was cooked to perfection. Always happy again, we look forward to our next visit to Foster's Garden

We had our 25th class reunion there. Unfortunately the restaurant didn't convince us. The drinks just took too long and the prices were steep.

Excellent food and drinks and very friendly service. Unfortunately, the service still leaves a lot to be desired. Despite making a reservation in advance, the waitress informed us when we ordered that our meal would take about 45 minutes. The drink order was forgotten or taken incorrectly twice. The dessert we ordered only came after another reminder. We were given two drinks as a gift because the order took so long, but one was overcharged, which unfortunately I only noticed afterwards. I don't think this can happen, but it fits into the overall picture of the service. As I said, the food and drinks were excellent and the service was extremely friendly. Unfortunately, there are significant reductions in the quality of the service.

You've come to the right place if you want to try something different! Food was really great! You get full and it was really tasty too. We had crocodile, kangaroo and zebra but the salmon was also really tasty. Check out that this huge old building was saved and this great location was created. You can also ignore the occasional crumbling piece of plaster. Darts and billiards can also be played on the upper floors.

Our Sunday family dinner at Foster’s Garden was a complete success. The children loved their juicy burgers, which were perfectly tailored to their taste. The father enjoyed a tender rump steak that was superbly seasoned and fried to perfection - simply delicious! Mom chose the salmon dish, which was not only beautifully presented but also tasted wonderfully fresh and aromatic. The relaxed atmosphere made Sunday a special family moment for us. We'll definitely be back!

First of all, it should be mentioned: Mouse runs around in the restaurant, Muslim is served pork without even ordering it We came to this restaurant based on a recommendation. When we arrived on site and ordered the drinks, a mouse soon ran around the entire restaurant. After we asked the waitress about it, she said that it was normal for the mouse to walk around and that it came from the beer garden. My companion ordered a cheeseburger. The menu says there is no bacon in it. However, the cheeseburger had bacon in it. My companion doesn't eat pork for religious reasons. After we pointed this out to the waitress, she explained to us that there had been a mishap in the kitchen and that the neighboring table had also ordered a cheeseburger with bacon in it. To be fair, the cheeseburger was taken off our bill, but we weren't hungry for the rest of the food either. It was our first time there and what happened to us there didn't have to be. We will never enter the restaurant again.

I'm writing this review while we're still sitting in the restaurant and mostly finished. The food is delicious and the service is top notch. We were even able to witness respectful and intensive training, something we rarely see. Most of the time it was the opposite. A warning, the dishes I ordered (wings and Greek chicken burgers) were heavily seasoned with garlic! I love it! Just that others who are more sensitive are warned :D

Not only did the staff at Foster guide me through the process of decoration, menu buffet selection and organization right from the start, but they also responded very quickly to requests and ideas at all times. All guests including me were thrilled with the buffet, quantity of food, quality and service. We danced, celebrated, drank and ate for 8 wonderful hours in a great atmosphere! Great food, we especially liked the zebra, that was quite surprising in taste.

It was my first time as a guest in this restaurant, which is hidden away from the city center, and was invited by a dear friend. In addition to many other common interests, we share a connection with good cuisine. At first glance, the main building appears a bit “dark” in a deep, dark red. However, once you leave the glass main entrance door behind you, the whole thing appears very bright and light, which is certainly due to the clever lighting. While on the right there is a counter/bar area in the old main building and in the basement there are also the very clean and modern toilets, to the left of the entrance there is a light winter garden in the truest sense of the word, the basic construction of which is very reminiscent of a greenhouse Glass and steel construction. Be that as it may, between the sheets of cloth you can, if you want, look at the dark night sky or through the windows at the adjacent but quiet street. What was striking was that there were no bad acoustics in this light, bright part of the restaurant called the "winter garden", which was apparently added later and not too long ago. Although it was quite well occupied, you could easily get downstairs without disturbing others or feeling disturbed by others. We each ordered a filet mignon, 250 gr., with potato wedges. While my companion chose the house sauce, I stuck with the tried and tested pepper cream sauce. As a person who likes to criticize, I usually find something to criticize. Sometimes the table isn't clean, sometimes the cutlery or glasses aren't washed properly (the previous lady's lipstick...), sometimes the meat is too stringy or too tough, the salad is too "mushy". In this case there was nothing, absolutely nothing, to complain about. The already very low-fat meat was served "medium" as requested, was butter-tender and a delight. The potato wedges were also very subtle but well seasoned and complemented the main course perfectly. The very tasty pepper cream sauce nestled perfectly on the wedges and the meat and completed the concert with maximum culinary delights. The salad wasn't rich, but its consistency was convincing and the dressing was discreetly in the background without appearing bland. The service was very attentive and friendly, approachable at any time. Overall, I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, which I will definitely visit again!

Our company decided to hold our employee dinner in this store, which in retrospect was a very good decision. The service was super friendly and we had a nice laugh. We went there as a family to eat spare ribs. The three of us had 2x XXL spare ribs. It was super tasty. Since we didn't finish everything, we were offered to take the leftovers with us. The fries were also very good. The service was very friendly and attentive. We didn't have to wait long for the food either. We will certainly come back.

Meat platters were served that were unparalleled in terms of quality and quantity. The offer afterwards, billiards and the like, are also great. Friendly reception, very fast and attentive service staff. We had our drinks after a few minutes and the grill plate was on the table 15 minutes after ordering. Very tasty and high quality meat, the grill plate was beautifully prepared and more than enough for 2 people. The side dishes are also generous. The highlight of the day for us, absolute recommendation. The price for the grill plate, which comes with various side dishes and sauces, an extra side dish and 3 large cola, was €105. Absolutely appropriate for the performance.

We were looking for a special restaurant on the last day of our vacation and discovered Foster's Garden through the Australian offerings. That evening we were greeted very friendly by the boss (there weren't many left) and served. Despite the increased price, we opted for the Australian grill plate for 2 people with an additional crocodile (which costs extra). Since we know that good Australian quality has its price, we expected one piece of meat per person and we got a platter that would certainly have been enough for 4 people. Ev. You could do something else here in terms of price/quantity ratio (less, but cheaper). The meat was perfectly prepared and very tasty, and the side dishes also tasted excellent. The ambience was more than suitable for our last evening. The lighting in the glass room together with the subtle music created a very romantic atmosphere. The boss had a very nice chat with us at the end and the employees were always friendly throughout the evening. We would like to see a restaurant like Foster's Garden in our area. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back :-) Thank you for the wonderful final evening of our vacation :-)

Super tasty steak! Great ambience and friendly service. The Australian cuisine on offer is of course something you have to let sink in first. We didn't take advantage of the offer, but limited ourselves to the “ordinary” farm animals that people know.

I ate there with a group of 6 people and it was a real treat for all of us. My filet mignon was fried to perfection, the rosemary potatoes were perfectly seasoned, salad was a side dish and fruit decorated the plate. For dessert there was a super delicious lava cake with ice cream and cream. The service was very friendly and put you in a good mood. Rarely eaten so well. Afterwards we were able to play darts and billiards in the restaurant, while regular service was served at the bar. Highly recommended. Greetings go out to the boss. See you next time! :)

Der Barkeeper macht im Vorbeigehen grenzwertige Witze, die Bedienung kommt nicht an den Tisch und insgesamt fühlten wir uns nicht willkommen. Andere Gäste wurden beim Gehen gefragt, ob sie auch bezahlt hätten. Es war kein besonders angenehmer Abend.
