Das Essen war wie immer sehr gut. Weil es so voll war, hat es etwas gedauert, aber ist okay. Gerne wieder.

First of all, it should be mentioned: Mouse runs around in the restaurant, Muslim is served pork without even ordering it We came to this restaurant based on a recommendation. When we arrived on site and ordered the drinks, a mouse soon ran around the entire restaurant. After we asked the waitress about it, she said that it was normal for the mouse to walk around and that it came from the beer garden. My companion ordered a cheeseburger. The menu says there is no bacon in it. However, the cheeseburger had bacon in it. My companion doesn't eat pork for religious reasons. After we pointed this out to the waitress, she explained to us that there had been a mishap in the kitchen and that the neighboring table had also ordered a cheeseburger with bacon in it. To be fair, the cheeseburger was taken off our bill, but we weren't hungry for the rest of the food either. It was our first time there and what happened to us there didn't have to be. We will never enter the restaurant again.

My visit to Foster’s Garden in Kassel was a thoroughly successful evening. As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel the special flair: the extravagant ambience, exotic palm garden and stylish fireplace room immediately put you in a relaxed atmosphere. The highlight of the evening was the food. The antipasti platter was a true feast for the senses. A colorful mix of finely balanced Mediterranean delicacies - every element was fresh, high quality and harmoniously prepared. The variety of flavors was particularly impressive. For my main course I chose the filet, and it exceeded all expectations. Perfectly cooked, buttery and juicy. The meat had an intense, natural flavor that was further enhanced by the sophisticated seasoning. There was also an excellent selection of side dishes that perfectly complemented the taste. The service was attentive, friendly and accommodating. Every question was answered competently and the staff made sure we felt comfortable throughout the evening.

Definitely make a reservation in advance, it is very busy. Everyone is still very friendly and coordinated. The food was great, a young, strong team that is certainly well managed. Absolute recommendation.

I'm writing this review while we're still sitting in the restaurant and mostly finished. The food is delicious and the service is top notch. We were even able to witness respectful and intensive training, something we rarely see. Most of the time it was the opposite. A warning, the dishes I ordered (wings and Greek chicken burgers) were heavily seasoned with garlic! I love it! Just that others who are more sensitive are warned :D

The food was really good. The salad had the best mustard dressing I have ever tasted and the vegetarian lasagna was to die for. The waitresses were in a good mood and also very entertaining and sociable.

I celebrated my themed birthday there with 40 people. Not only did the staff at Foster guide me through the process of decoration, menu buffet selection and organization right from the start, but they also responded very quickly to requests and ideas at all times. All guests including me were thrilled with the buffet, quantity of food, quality and service. We danced, celebrated, drank and ate for 8 wonderful hours in a great atmosphere! Again and again - thank you for a wonderful evening!

We had a birthday party and it was a blast. Always attentive staff, funny and not at a loss for a saying, very charming. Drinks came quickly and were tasty, the buffet was great and the prices were reasonable. One of the best birthday parties I've been to and the location and the team contributed a lot to it. Great food, we especially liked the zebra, that was quite surprising in taste.

It was my first time as a guest in this restaurant, which is hidden away from the city center, and was invited by a dear friend. In addition to many other common interests, we share a connection with good cuisine. At first glance, the main building appears a bit “dark” in a deep, dark red. However, once you leave the glass main entrance door behind you, the whole thing appears very bright and light, which is certainly due to the clever lighting. While on the right there is a counter/bar area in the old main building and in the basement there are also the very clean and modern toilets, to the left of the entrance there is a light winter garden in the truest sense of the word, the basic construction of which is very reminiscent of a greenhouse Glass and steel construction. Be that as it may, between the sheets of cloth you can, if you want, look at the dark night sky or through the windows at the adjacent but quiet street. What was striking was that there were no bad acoustics in this light, bright part of the restaurant called the "winter garden", which was apparently added later and not too long ago. Although it was quite well occupied, you could easily get downstairs without disturbing others or feeling disturbed by others. We each ordered a filet mignon, 250 gr., with potato wedges. While my companion chose the house sauce, I stuck with the tried and tested pepper cream sauce. As a person who likes to criticize, I usually find something to criticize. Sometimes the table isn't clean, sometimes the cutlery or glasses aren't washed properly (the previous lady's lipstick...), sometimes the meat is too stringy or too tough, the salad is too "mushy". In this case there was nothing, absolutely nothing, to complain about. The already very low-fat meat was served "medium" as requested, was butter-tender and a delight. The potato wedges were also very subtle but well seasoned and complemented the main course perfectly. The very tasty pepper cream sauce nestled perfectly on the wedges and the meat and completed the concert with maximum culinary delights. The salad wasn't rich, but its consistency was convincing and the dressing was discreetly in the background without appearing bland. The service was very attentive and friendly, approachable at any time. Overall, I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, which I will definitely visit again!

Our company decided to hold our employee dinner in this store, which in retrospect was a very good decision. The service was super friendly and we had a nice laugh. The food was on point and tasted great. It was such a friendly atmosphere that you felt at home. We will be happy to come back and would be happy to recommend the store. We went there as a family to eat spare ribs. The three of us had 2x XXL spare ribs. It was super tasty. Since we didn't finish everything, we were offered to take the leftovers with us. The fries were also very good. The service was very friendly and attentive. We didn't have to wait long for the food either. We will certainly come back.

We decided to have a meal at Forsters Garden for our team event and it was a very good decision. The service was great, the food was great and the atmosphere was very cozy. We were given a place in a quiet corner so that even with 16 people, we could understand everyone's words. A very successful stay that we won't soon forget! delicious Addendum: After 5 years I was a guest again. This time it was a company trip. Fosters Garden impresses with its super friendly staff and a great ambience. Meat platters were served that were unparalleled in terms of quality and quantity. The offer afterwards, billiards and the like, are also great. I enjoyed being here and will hopefully come back soon

Friendly reception, very fast and attentive service staff. We had our drinks after a few minutes and the grill plate was on the table 15 minutes after ordering. Very tasty and high quality meat, the grill plate was beautifully prepared and more than enough for 2 people. The side dishes are also generous. The highlight of the day for us, absolute recommendation. The price for the grill plate, which comes with various side dishes and sauces, an extra side dish and 3 large cola, was €105. Absolutely appropriate for the performance.

We were looking for a special restaurant on the last day of our vacation and discovered Foster's Garden through the Australian offerings. That evening we were greeted very friendly by the boss (there weren't many left) and served. Despite the increased price, we opted for the Australian grill plate for 2 people with an additional crocodile (which costs extra). Since we know that good Australian quality has its price, we expected one piece of meat per person and we got a platter that would certainly have been enough for 4 people. Ev. You could do something else here in terms of price/quantity ratio (less, but cheaper). The meat was perfectly prepared and very tasty, and the side dishes also tasted excellent. The ambience was more than suitable for our last evening. The lighting in the glass room together with the subtle music created a very romantic atmosphere. The boss had a very nice chat with us at the end and the employees were always friendly throughout the evening. We would like to see a restaurant like Foster's Garden in our area. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back :-) Thank you for the wonderful final evening of our vacation :-)

Wie gewünscht wurde auch sofort ein Kinderstuhl gebracht 👍🏼 Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt … die Preise für alle angebotene Speisen empfinden wir mit 10-15% zu hoch😟 Allerdings haben wir das gerne bezahlt da alle unser Gerichte (Steak/Burger/Gemüse/Pommes…) perfekt zubereitet waren! Super tasty steak! Great ambience and friendly service. The Australian cuisine on offer is of course something you have to let sink in first. We didn't take advantage of the offer, but limited ourselves to the “ordinary” farm animals that people know.

I ate there with a group of 6 people and it was a real treat for all of us. My filet mignon was fried to perfection, the rosemary potatoes were perfectly seasoned, salad was a side dish and fruit decorated the plate. For dessert there was a super delicious lava cake with ice cream and cream. The service was very friendly and put you in a good mood. Rarely eaten so well. Afterwards we were able to play darts and billiards in the restaurant, while regular service was served at the bar. Highly recommended. Greetings go out to the boss. See you next time! :)

Der Barkeeper macht im Vorbeigehen grenzwertige Witze, die Bedienung kommt nicht an den Tisch und insgesamt fühlten wir uns nicht willkommen. Andere Gäste wurden beim Gehen gefragt, ob sie auch bezahlt hätten. Es war kein besonders angenehmer Abend.

Richtig lecker. Das Essen kam schnell und war auf den Punkt gebraten. Große Portionen. Personal freundlich, aufmerksam aber nicht aufdringlich. Wir kommen wieder.

Foster's Garden - The Steak House is simply great! It was my first time there and I wasn't disappointed. The ambience is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent. But of course the best part was the steaks! Perfectly cooked, juicy and full of flavor. The selection of sides and sauces was also impressive. All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable visit that I would recommend to anyone looking for a first-class steak experience. I will definitely come back!

Top food and a great spot to play billiards!

Went there to eat and then play billiards. The entire team really took great care of us and responded to all of our requests. The food came quickly and was excellent. The rack of lamb is particularly recommended. For me one of the best addresses in Kassel. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Trotzdem wäre eine etwas preiswertere Option für manche Gäste sicherlich willkommen. Insgesamt war es jedoch ein Genuss, die kulinarischen Köstlichkeiten in diesem idyllischen Ambiente zu genießen. Auch die Möglichkeit nach dem Verzehr Billard oder Darts zu spielen wirkt einladend zu einem Abend mit Freunden.

Visually the ambience was nice, but you felt like you were in a large hall. Food and drinks came quite quickly. The prices are a bit high. 18 euros for a burger and no fries or anything is a lot. The burger was delicious and homemade. The schnitzel was not homemade and came from a package and for 20 euros. The waitresses were nice. What I just find a bit strange is that the boss takes the order and collects it at the end, but the other conditions bring the food and drinks. So you don't know whether the person who brought you the things all evening really gets the tip. That's why I only gave a small tip and the rest of my change was just slapped on the table. There are far better restaurants with better service and better food. It's a shame, I would have liked to go again but unfortunately no.

Nicely renovated but completely overpriced. Ready-made schnitzel with artificial breading from industrial production. The “special” gourmet offers are perhaps ok but extremely expensive. Reservation was in the glass house, it didn't work out, we were in the former fireplace room. Service, except for one person, poor. We had to pass on drinks, cutlery in the collection bucket was simply 'carelessly' and hit the table with a big bang. Guests have to fold their own napkins and distribute their own cutlery. You wait about 15-20 minutes for a second drink. Service pays no attention to the guest. The sales may already be sufficient. Never again, was served with my guests.

Received the second drink after 82 minutes, food (schnitzel) after 1.35 hours. The taste is only okay thanks to the sauce, otherwise it's too dry and visually inviting in zero point zero... any country restaurant can do that three times better. The raw, bloody steak meat is in a plastic bag in the otherwise almost empty refrigerator... disgusting. It's sold in these bags in the metro...what do you want to show the guest with it??

I had dinner at Foster’s Garden last week and I have to say I loved it! At first I was positively impressed by the atmosphere in the restaurant. In the glass house, with a carmine to keep you warm, you can eat really well. In addition, all the employees were friendly and welcoming, despite the large number of visitors. I also particularly enjoyed the food that I ordered. I had spare ribs with fries and my companion had steak. Apart from the taste, both of us were also very impressed by the large portions, of which we had some left over until the next day. Overall, I would recommend a visit to Foster’s Garden to anyone who wants a delicious meal, with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Ich war letzte Woche im Forster’s Garden essen und muss sagen, dass ich begeistert bin! Vorerst war ich von dem Ambiente im Restaurant positiv beeindruckt. Im Glashaus, mit einem warm haltenden Karmin, lässt sich super schön essen. Dazu waren alle Mitarbeiter freundlich und vorkommend, trotz dem vielen Besuch. Auch das Essen, dass ich bestellt habe, hat mir besonders gut geschmeckt. Für mich gab es Spare Ribs mit Pommes und für meine Begleitung ein Steak. Wir beide waren abgesehen vom Geschmack auch sehr von den großen Portionen angesprochen, von denen uns noch bis zum nächsten Tag was übrig geblieben ist. Insgesamt würde ich den Besuch im Foster’s Garden nur jedem weiter empfehlen, der Lust auf ein leckeres Essen, mit schönem Ambiente und netten Mitarbeitern hat.

A larger room with high ceilings and beautiful decorations and a smaller room that lags behind in comparison but is completely sufficient and can create a quieter atmosphere depending on the guests. If you're in Kassel and looking for a delicious steak, don't go wrong here!

We've been there several times. And today it was great again, despite a small misunderstanding, but the boss reacted really well and accommodated us financially. The Balkan platter with 3 types of steak meat was once again super delicious. And a plate for one person is enough for both of us, especially since we had previously had a tomato soup (also shared), which was also delicious (the photo was taken when we were already in the middle of eating). The upholstered chairs are incredibly comfortable and the fire in the fireplace is totally romantic. Overall a great restaurant. We will come back. P.S.: This time I didn't have any whiskey, instead I had a small Sambuca, as the total bill was already around €90.

Im Fosters lässt sich immer gut essen. Mit dem Kamin ist es immer sehr kuschelig warm, das sollte man bei der Kleider Wahl bedenken. Das Ambiente so wie Essen und der bisher stets lockere, freundliche und offenherzige Service überzeugt mich jedes Mal wieder. Ihr macht einen tollen Job und in unserer Runde war noch niemand enttäuscht.

Wir wurden als wir an den Tisch geleitet worden sind mit einer Menü Tageskarte negativ überrascht. Der Menü-Preis betrug 138 Euro. Man konnte nicht a‘ la Carte essen, was wir eigentlich vor hatten. Dies war bei der Reservierung uns nicht mitgeteilt worden, sonst hätten wir ein anderes Lokal gewählt. Im Lokal bestand man auf das Menü, sonst könne man gehen, was auch 7 Pärchen -die wir mit bekommen haben, gemacht haben.

Eure Schnitzel sind weiterhin überragend und auch sein Preis wert. Einen Burger mit Pommes für 25€ finde ich persönlich übertrieben und ich könnte jetzt auch nicht sagen das der Wow war. Leider hat es im Wintergarten reingetropft, dass haben wir allerdings erst später gemerkt, weil die Jacken nass waren.

Bedienung war sehr nett, wären aber fast verdurstet, da nach unserer Bestellung nichts weiter aufgenommen wurde. Mein Cheeseburger war sehr sehr trocken. Da war nix mehr mit Saft im Fleisch.

Die Speisekarte ist zu umfangreich und hat keine klare Linie (Burger, Schnitzel, italienisch, Balkan, australisch, etc). Das Essen ist für die Qualität ziemlich teuer.
