A beautiful location that invites you to linger. The food and service are excellent!

We came here after a visit to the wildlife park, on the recommendation of a hunter in Einbach. The food was truly outstanding; we had five different dishes, and it was a symphony for the taste buds. The meat was soft and tender, and consistently delicious. One point deducted for the service, as our youngest received his food in advance and was finished by the time we got it. We like to eat together with all the children, even if it takes a little longer. For us, this is part of raising children and a family-style dining culture. In my opinion, you should ask in advance what they want. Otherwise, a clear recommendation 👍👍👍

Very tasty food, but long waits for both drinks and food. The restaurant is still recommended. However, we would have liked more service in the beer garden. There were also delays at neighboring tables. We'll be back.

If I could only give more than 5 stars, everything from the service to the kitchen would deserve it. You enter the wonderful beer garden and are greeted by motivated and very friendly staff. I don't know if they are trained staff or family, but in any case, everyone gave the impression that everyone knew what to do. And they did it with a refreshing ease. Now for the food. Unfortunately, there are only a few chefs left who take the time to make a good sauce. I would have only needed this and some bread 😀. We were there two days in a row and were simply happy both times. Not just satisfying hunger, but pure enjoyment in every bite. In our opinion, the price/performance ratio is too low.

After a visit to the wildlife park, we stopped here with friends. The beer garden is inviting. The interior of the forester's lodge is also very cozy. The food is delicious and the presentation is a feast for the eyes. Simply a delight. The service staff is very attentive and friendly.

Finely crafted cuisine, absolutely down-to-earth. In my opinion, they should focus a bit more on the basics, but it's also hard to satisfy a Swabian in Hesse with spaetzle. The salmon combination was a bit too ornate, but nevertheless of good quality and preparation.

We had an excellent meal. Two dishes from the daily menu: goulash with venison and meatballs with local venison. Perfectly prepared in a well-maintained beer garden...it wasn't the last time we visited. We ate here again on July 20th. Absolutely fantastic!

First time there and certainly won't be the last. We were extremely satisfied with our stay. From the ambience and service to the food, everything was almost perfect. My wife and I really enjoyed the way the food was served and the taste of all the dishes. Top quality awaits you here at a reasonable price, and the portions are also reasonably large. The only thing we found a bit inconvenient was that the schnitzel and fries are served on a wooden board... We found it a bit unhygienic and a bit inconvenient if you'd like to have it with sauce. But if you ask for a plate, that can definitely be arranged. We're definitely looking forward to our next visit. Keep it up✌️

We were surprised by the ambiance and the cuisine. It's fair to say that you get fine dining at absolutely fair prices. We had soup (1x cream of asparagus, 1x beef) as a starter and roast onions for the main course. The dishes were completely (!) homemade, whether it was the ingredients in the soups or the side dishes for the main course. Unfortunately, you rarely find something like that these days. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Here it was first class, even though the occasion was a sad one. Rustic, cozy and the food - I had never eaten so well. I had ox cheeks on your mashed potatoes with steamed carrots and fried vegetable strips in a wonderfully strong, dark sauce, framed by another sauce, delicately fruity. Damn, that was something to enjoy and there was quite a bit of what was on the plate. I would also have a wonderfully fresh pilsner from the region. A well-rounded affair and highly recommended. Barrier-free access via a ramp on the side. Unfortunately the beer garden was still closed due to the weather but everything was magically located within sight of an impressive hunting lodge. We want to come here again in the summer,,🥰

Sat outside. The menu offers a great selection. The service is very friendly and the dog also gets a bowl. People ask again and again, but not intrusively. The dishes look and taste very good. The meat is on point and really very tender. The game dish was so delicious and the sauce was beyond delicious. Everything was prepared with fresh ingredients. Absolutely recommended. With a total of seven or eight tables, some of which had already been served, the first thing we did was forget a drink at our table. Once remembered, forgotten again. When the appetizer was served, I was reminded of the drink a second time. That came promptly. But then a starter was forgotten at the table. For this reason only 4/5 stars in the overall rating.

Nice day trip to the Eulbach forester's lodge and then to the adjacent park. While we used to think that the Forsthaus was a restaurant with a beer garden in the summer, we were surprised at Christmas by the fine cuisine. The day definitely brought us one thing. We won't just keep the one date a year at the Country Fair. This is mainly due to the experience in the forester's lodge.

Du cocktail au plat, de l'entrée au dessert, tout est joliment présenté, et savoureux. La carte est orientée gibier, mais pas uniquement. L'addition est raisonnable pour la qualité.

The four of us were at the Forstahaus Eulbach at short notice on Sunday, December 1st, 2024 to celebrate my wife's birthday. We arrived at 5:30 p.m., the dining room was full, but we got a nice seat. The service was very good and attentive. Drinks arrived quickly after ordering, and the request for mulled wine was implemented promptly and in a friendly manner. The atmosphere was very relaxed. The food was amazing 2 soup of the day (pumpkin cream soup) 2 times wild goulash 1 x forester's plate 1 dish in the daily menu (chicken sliced ​​with rice), the birthday child was blown away :-) Then another espresso to round off the experience. A very good price for the performance offered.

Since we come from the area, we have known the Forsthaus since childhood and were happy to have come to such a great and cozy atmosphere. A lot of time and love was invested here to preserve the “old forester’s house”. Because of the many great reviews, we have finally managed to get here. However, we had to look twice to make sure we weren't rating the wrong forestry lodge. Unfortunately our expectations were not met! The venison goulash was so salty that it was inedible. The complaint was immediately accepted and lodged so-called loin schnitzel replaced with fries. Unfortunately the meat was tasteless. The schnitzel and fries had the same taste and the fried vegetables couldn't stand up to anything. The service was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the boss was no longer seen at our table. Too bad... The chef must have had a very bad day.

Me and my wife were there for our wedding anniversary. We had a table in the restaurant. This is very cozy and rustic, as you would expect from a forester's lodge. The service was very good. The food was excellent. I had ox cheeks that were so tender that you didn't need a knife. Everything was also extremely beautifully arranged. The price-performance ratio is also great. I can fully recommend this restaurant.

On a day trip to Michelstadt we drove past the “English Garden” sign and out of curiosity we decided to take the dog for a little walk. We didn't get far - the forester's lodge with its beautiful ambience seemed too inviting to us and we spontaneously decided to have lunch there. Almost everything was reserved but with the help of the waitress we found a really nice spot... and I hope we'll have the opportunity to sit in this cozy inn or in the cozy beer garden again soon. My onion roast with fried potatoes and salad 10/10…. terrific. My friend's beef cheeks as well. Property very well maintained, modern rustic with attention to detail, everything harmonious, absolute feel-good atmosphere. Food quite quickly, fresh on nicely arranged plates - very tasty - there was absolutely nothing to complain about - on the contrary! Fair prices, friendly and attentive staff. It was a perfect start to the Sunday trip, thank you very much!!!!

Wir waren heute mit dem Motorrad hier. Der Biergarten liegt absolut idyllisch und lädt zum Essen ein. Die Speisekarte liest sich wie im Sterne Restaurant und die Tellersprache ist fantastisch. Die Hirschkeule und die Ochsenbäckchen waren traumhaft. Das Messer war nicht notwendig. Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen. Mit der Familie haben wir bei Sommerwetter im herrlichen Garten gegessen. Abseits der Hauptstraße, sehr ruhig. Großer Parkplatz hinter dem Gebäude. Ohne Reservierung wirds jedoch schwierig bei gutem Wetter einen Tisch zu bekommen. Die Speisekarte verspricht kreative Wild- , Fleisch und vegetarische Gerichte. Die Qualität der Speisen und Optik der Teller sind sehr gut. Kein 0-8-15 Essen! Preise wirklich sehr moderat mit sehr gutem Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Einzig der Service war bei Hochbetrieb etwas unprofessionell. Die Gerichte die uns gebracht wurden, konnten von der Bedienung leider nur mit Unterstützung zugeordnet und benannt werden. Die junge etwas stumme Bedienung war hier sehr hilflos. Das passte nicht so ganz zum tollen Restaurantambiente. Speziell bei Wildgerichten eine tolle Adresse!

The cozy restaurant on the edge of the forest is beautiful and the food is fabulous. You can feel that the chef and the owners cook with heart and soul, which makes every dish special. An inn with indoor and outdoor dining. Rustically cozy inside, gravel outside, simple weatherproof furniture. Old shady trees. Rich menu, delicious cakes and friendly staff make your stay pleasant. The prices are moderate. There is a large parking lot in front of the house. On the other side of the street there is the English Garden with an animal enclosure. Today the service could be improved. The cappuccino came without sugar. The cake I ordered came half an hour later.

Wir haben mit 16 Personen im Forsthaus gegessen, und alle waren begeistert! Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte und Desserts vom feinsten! Alles war sehr schmackhaft und mit viel Liebe angerichtet! Auch das Preis-Leistunfs-Verhältnis stimmt! Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort essen!!! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Quite expensive but also very good food and fast service

Just a shame. We wanted to eat something there. Nice weather, good things going on. We got a card after about 10 minutes, but unfortunately the waitress didn't come to take an order after that. As we were leaving, we were surprised to see that other people who came after us already had something to drink and a salad. Apparently we were sitting at the wrong table.

So gut haben wir schon lange nicht mehr gegessen. Wir haben es genossen. Im Biergarten war es sehr gemütlich, die beiden Bedienungen sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, Preis/Leistung super. Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind kommen wir gerne wieder. Sehr zu empfehlen.

The food is not only good but exceptional and perfectly prepared, in the direction of star cuisine, and currently fair prices even after the VAT increase. The guest room and garden are beautiful, but the adjoining room is not quite as chic. The only tiny flaw we had was that the tea glass was not only small, but also only half full. Even if tea is ordered less often in summer, tea drinkers are also thirsty and so far the hot summer is still a long way off... ;-)

Very standardized food, for example the rump steak came with the same sauce as the venison. The taste was ok, the plate was confusing because it was very “packed”.
