Flemings Hotel München-City in München

We selected this hotel as it had good reviews online, and fitted with our plans. It also was reasonably priced and was good value. It is convenient to the central station, underground, and tram services, and it is about a 10 minute walk from the old town. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and well decorated, and had nice welcoming amenities in the lobby. The rooms were very comfortable and well laid out, with all of the amenities we needed. We would definitely be happy to stay at this hotel again, if we are back in Munich.

Excellent hotel in the city center of Munich, very good service, comfortable, quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast in the restaurant below the hotel was excellent. The hotel is very close to public transportation. Highly recommend for those looking for proximity to the city center at a not very expensive price. I will come back here again

Great location, clean rooms, and friendly staff!

The hotel is ideally located near the train station, although some of the perpendicular streets aren't the best area. The metro is nearby. The staff is very friendly and gives an excellent impression of the hotel. If some guests weren't careful when booking, they might be surprised by the bathroom. Breakfast is decent, but it lacks sweet options like brioche or cake, in my opinion. Having only one coffee machine is a bit limiting. I particularly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere during my stay. The price I paid made my stay good value for money.

Let me start with the positive: The staff is very friendly. That said, the area surrounding the hotel is a construction site. The hotel is the only building in the block still standing. The rest of the block is being demolished. Construction is also underway across from the hotel. And there's construction going on inside the hotel. I stayed here for 5 nights. See the photos for the obstacle course to my hotel room. The construction work inside the hotel continues after office hours.

I stayed at the Flemings Hotel in Munich on a business trip and was very satisfied overall. The central location is particularly noteworthy – ideal for business meetings in the city center or around the main train station. Everything is within walking distance, yet the hotel is quiet enough to allow for relaxed work or unwinding. The room was modern, clean, and comfortably furnished, with a lovely balcony that significantly enhanced the stay. The only minor issue is that the window and door seals could be improved to enhance soundproofing and energy efficiency – a small point that hardly detracts from the otherwise excellent overall impression. The staff were consistently very friendly, helpful, and pleasantly uncomplicated – from reception to service to the breakfast team. You immediately feel welcome and well taken care of. Overall, a highly recommended hotel for business travelers who value comfort, location, and a smooth stay. I would gladly return.

Central. Friendly. Clean. Good Price. Excellent restaurant downstairs.

The location is very good for a trip into the city center, although there are sometimes strange people in the area around the train station. But that's normal. Check-in is a terminal, but it works well. The room was clean and very spacious. I had a family room spread over two floors. One thing to keep in mind: if you're traveling with a group of friends, you should be able to tolerate everyone seeing you while you shower. Frosted glass would have been helpful here. Positive: Free water, Nespresso, and snacks in the room.

Large well appointed rooms that are quiet and close to the train station. Check in was easy and the receptionist was genuinely friendly, making us feel right at home.

Nice rooms, but absolutely horrible staff

I stayed for 2 nights for Oktober Fest. The hotel ticks all the boxes. Only negative is that my room was not cleaned during night 1 and 2 which you would expect for a 4* hotel.

We stayed at Flemings Munchen City for 3 nights during Oktoberfest. The location is very convenient, right across the street from the central train station and an easy walk to Oktoberfest, under 10 minutes. The room was decent size, clean, and quiet. My only complaint about the room is the lighting in the bathroom is quite dim so shaving was more challenging than usual, but other than that, the room was great and all of the staff was very nice and helpful. There is also a small restaurant and bar in the lobby for convenience.

The location is perfect if you're in Vienna for business and traveling by train. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the city center. The service in the restaurant is very good. Self-check-in is a bit of a hassle, as you still need assistance. I don't understand why they don't have a regular reception, but that's up to the hotel. The construction site is still there, and it was very loud in the afternoon and started at 7:00 a.m.

Our stay was fine. We got a 20% discount on the room rate through a summer promotion, so it was very good value. Everything was perfect for that price. But for a higher price, I'd look for something else next time. The reception was moderately friendly (only the evening porter was super nice), and we waited over two hours for our room (until 4:15 p.m. when we checked in at 2 p.m.). We were offered a room on a different floor, but that wasn't an option with two teenagers traveling alone. I had to ask three times, and the lady always said, "Come back in 10-15 minutes, then it'll be ready." So I came back from the 5th floor three times, stood in line in the lobby, and was again put off with the words, "You can also take the one on the 3rd floor, otherwise it'll take longer." The rooms are very spacious, but seem a bit dated, but very well maintained. The shower in the middle of the room feels odd. The hairdryer was old and dirty. The beds are very comfortable! The location is super central, but unfortunately very noisy due to the large construction site behind the building. Drilling was taking place very early in the morning, but there was no advance notice. However, the soundproofing was good, considering the street noise and the train station across the street. All in all, it was okay. Would I come back again? Maybe, but at the regular price, I'd probably look for an alternative nearby.

This is the second time that I have stayed at Flemings Munich. It is such a great place. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff was great, and the location is just perfect. Across the street from the main train station (Hauptbahnhof), Flemings was great once again. I will always stay here when in Munich!

Clean and comfortable rooms with fast wifi and neat integration with cast to your TV(not many hotels have that) . Location is great with main munich central station 5 mins away, lots of eateries and marienplatz just 15 mins walk. Shout out to Onyi for great service.

This is a nice, very clean hotel however it really needs to be advertised as an adult only hotel due to every room having clear shower walls exposing you showering to everyone else in the room. There is no bathroom door and clear shower wall is next to the bed. We had two teenagers with us so this was not a good fit for us. We were told this is the Fleming Hotel concept. Being located directly across from the train station was great however they do not have a parking garage near by for those driving cars. The hotel “unloading” zone out front is blocked off resulting in guests dragging their luggage from way down the road from the nearest public parking garage in the rain. As long as you do not drive a car then this is a great location.

I received a warm welcome right from the check-in – I would especially like to thank the staff member Ali, who gave me a free upgrade so we could get to my room early. The hotel impresses with its central location – both the main train station and the city center are within easy walking distance. Particularly noteworthy is the exceptionally friendly and courteous staff, who attentively and enthusiastically attend to all requests. The breakfast, while not particularly extensive, is of high quality and lovingly presented – true to the motto "small but perfectly formed." The rooms are very clean, albeit quite compact. However, for a short stay, this was perfectly adequate for us. Overall, the hotel was a very good choice for us – we felt completely at home and would happily return.

The best hotel of my business trips to Munich so far. Centrally located and good service. The shower smelled a bit, but it was bearable. Breakfast was wonderful and very reasonably priced. The reception staff worked hard and were super friendly. I'd be happy to come back.

I stayed at the Fleming's Hotel near Munich Central Station and was very satisfied. The location is central and ideal for sightseeing or business trips. The staff at check-in and in the bar/breakfast area are extremely friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely top-notch. Checking in via computer isn't necessary. Unfortunately, there's also no room for storing luggage before and after your stay. But all in all, a great hotel with a good breakfast and friendly staff. We'd be happy to come back.

We booked in ourselves in the hotel for the last night of our two week holiday across Austria and south Germany. We had a superior double room with breakfast. The room was excellent, clean, cool, bright with comfortable beds. Easy to connect WiFi also helped. I have scored the service as four star because the gym facilities are rather old. I couldn't work out the treadmill to start no matter what. our breakfast was fine with plenty of healthy options. That the hotel is opposite the main train station also helped. Remarkably, the street was quiet throughout the night. I fully recommend this hotel.

Service unfortunately quite bad. Had to cancel a stay due to personal reasons and contacted them for a potential refund, which they refused. This is obviously not the problem here, as I had booked a non-refundable stay, but it was the style of communication that threw me off - I had sent them a personal message explaining my circumstances and received a one-word response: „abgelehnt“. A subsequent request to consider moving the reservation to a different date was ignored completely. I don’t expect freebies, but from a chain like Flemings, I do expect respectful communication and customer service.

A run-down place, small rooms with a transparent shower right next to the bed, a closed spa, and two-thirds of the services unaffordable. They promised a lot, but delivered very little. At least the rooms are clean, and the only employee, while completely overwhelmed, tries hard.

Got charged unexpectedly high prices. First we booked it would cost 1100 Euros for 5 nights including breakfast. Then after we figured out it didn't include breakfast, the cost went up to 1300 euros. We argued since we initially booked breakfast we should get it including breakfast for 1100. They agreed. When I got the bill it was 1330 euros. Furthermore, the breakfast cost was only 10 € per day, so the additional 200 € was just a scam. Furthermore, some of the rooms were infected with silverfish. Quite disgusting and easy to take home those pests accidentally.

Room and breakfast were good. But I had booked three nights and received confirmation (by email). Only two nights were booked in the system when I arrived. I had to dig through four months of emails to prove that I had received confirmation by email that three nights had been agreed upon. I had to go to reception five times and search through my email account for ages. Simply annoying and unnecessary!! - Also the behavior that I first had to prove that the error was Flemings' and not mine. !!!

The Hotel Flemings in Munich is a true little gem – especially for business travelers. The location near the main train station is super convenient, but what really impresses are the many thoughtful details. The rooms are spacious, bright, and modernly furnished. Particularly pleasant: air conditioning and a coffee machine in the room – perfect for a relaxed start to the day or a quick break. The reception staff were incredibly warm, professional, and helpful – you immediately feel welcome, and they gave our group of three an unexpected upgrade. And my personal highlight: the gummy bears in the lobby – a sweet gesture that sticks with you! 🍬 The breakfast was very generous and varied. I loved the combination of classic international selections (fruits, croissants, egg dishes) and the Bavarian part with fresh white sausages and pretzels – a real treat! 🥨 One small downside: Due to a nearby construction site, noise was already audible from around 7 a.m. Perhaps a nuisance for late risers – less of a problem for early birds. An all-around successful hotel with style, comfort, and personality. I would be happy to return.

We (unfortunately) had to spend two nights there on a business trip. Next door is a huge construction site, which starts making a lot of noise before 7 a.m. and continues until well over 6 p.m. The rooms facing the supposed inner courtyard are extremely loud, and it's a disgrace that they're rented at the same price as the other rooms. We paid €290 per night including breakfast for two people, probably because we were attending a trade fair; for one person, it was €250. The air conditioning worked reasonably well. The room is rather worn. The bathroom is extremely awkward and impractical. The bathrobe had a heavy blood stain. Rooms are only cleaned after two days. It's not even good for the price. The breakfast can be described as average at best. The rolls are tasty, but nothing special. If you just need a quick coffee, you're better off staying nearby. The breakfast is definitely not worth the €20. On a positive note, the staff are friendly. Despite its convenient location, I can't recommend the hotel, at least not as long as the construction site next door is active. And that will likely be the case for quite some time.

IT WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE THAT THE HOTEL RESERVED FOR ME THE SPECIFIC TYPE OF ROOM (CORNER TOWARDS BAYERSTRASSE) IN WHICH I HAD STAYED IN MY PREVIOUS STAY AND THAT IT WAS READY UPON MY ARRIVAL AT AROUND 13.00. THE HOTEL IS CLEAN AND QUIET. VERY IMPORTANT FOR ME.

After several visits to Munich for work, this was a very pleasant surprise. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast delicious, and the service was perfect. I recommend it and will definitely return next time.

Great reception staff. Oni was great (sorry if misspelled your name). Nice sized rooms with great A/C and great shower (be warned though, glass box), decent breakfast. Across from Hauptbahnhof and a 20-25-minute walk to Marienplatz. Parking is expensive down the street at $35 Euro/night. Breakfast is good and staff will cook you eggs to order if you ask. Cleaning service is every other day. Massive construction nearby, but no noise was made during the evening. Easy walkiing to several good restaurants and convenience stores. Immediate area is not very well taken care off, but that sure isn't the hotel's responsibility.

Very centrally located, breakfast good. I'm just wondering if anyone put themselves in the guest's shoes when setting up the rooms. Everything is very dark and minimally lit. The cabinets and surfaces are black, so you can't look comfortably. The bathroom is an aquarium, made entirely of transparent glass and doesn't offer any privacy. Body cleansing in the shop window. I really wonder if no one can think of such nonsense when setting it up.

The front desk employee was again so great, friendly, funny, absolutely competent and helpful. Nothing more is needed for an attentive reception. You and the hotel have somehow "overdelivered" my expectations & I am an absolutely grateful guest to have found it as a wonderful location in Munich. This was an amazing hotel. We took trains in and out of the city, and this was such an easy walk from the station. It's not too far from Old Town, and the walk it a pretty nice one. The rooms are very large, with a nice TV. The only weird thing is that the shower is in the middle of the room and clearly visible. It wasn't that bad though. Great views from our room, and the hotel downstairs was very convenient.

The cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff are very nice. We were especially pleased with the helpfulness of Javidan, Ali and Fatih. It is a hotel we will definitely choose when we come to Munich again.

Convenient and Comfortable Stay I recently stayed at Flemings Hotel for three nights and was thoroughly impressed by its location and services. Situated just a 5-minute walk from München Hauptbahnhof (central station), the hotel offers exceptional convenience for travelers. The hotel's proximity to the main station makes transportation a breeze, whether you're exploring Munich or heading to the airport. The staff were consistently helpful and welcoming, adding a personal touch to my stay. A standout feature was the hotel's Italian restaurant. I enjoyed dinner there each evening, and the service was consistently excellent. The food was delightful, and the dining experience was a highlight of my trip.

Okay hotel in the city center of Munich. They have self-check in only which did take its time due to the machines. Moreover, one person of my party was told that we don’t have breakfast in our booking so she waited in the “lobby”. We did have breakfast though but she then didn’t have time upon realising it to eat. The rooms are an odd combination of modern and old and don’t offer much light.

🔵Check-in time is 14:00 🔵The room was generally cool, you cannot turn on the heating system manually, the air conditioner is only there for cooling. 🔵The room is a bit dark, and there is no privacy in the shower and toilet areas, the windows of the shower are easily visible from the outside :) 🔵The service was very friendly and polite. 🔵The location of the hotel is right opposite the station. 15-20 minutes walking distance to the center. You are walking on a straight street. "It is possible to see different types, but we did not have any problems with security. 🔵Breakfast was 27 euros per person, I think it's definitely not worth it. We went to different cafes outside and had a nice breakfast for 25 euros for 2 people.

Good location, nice room, nice staff. The only criticism: The shower towels are very flimsy and no longer absorbent, do not meet the 4* standard and should be replaced. When we asked, we got two others, but unfortunately they weren't any better. Otherwise everything was great - we'll be back.

We were satisfied with the location, room was clean and really happy with the staff named Javidan Guluzade who took care of us. He was very helpful and gave very good recommendations. We are really greatful.

It’s across the street from Hauptbahnhof. The rooms were nice size with a mini fridge. The shower is right by the bed with clear glass. I didn’t mind it as I used the room alone. The finnish sauna downstairs is small but very nice.

stayed for a couple of nights. well what can I say.. this is the worst experience with 4 star hotels. the rooms do not match those stated in the description (much smaller and very dark), the shower is made of transparent glass... made of transparent!!!! maybe someone is so open... but not me!!! I don't know who and how rated this hotel at 4.6 on Google, but I would give it 3 stars with a stretch 🙈 when entering the room, a pungent smell of bleach hits your nose... we waited an hour for it to disappear... the breakfasts are very mediocre, as in 2-3 star hotels... I will say again that the toilets are terribly made... a small stall with a toilet and a transparent shower... I do not recommend for that kind of money!!!! besides, there were no more parking spaces in the parking lot and they sent us to another parking lot... saying that it was our problem... and there was no reception there...🤪🤪🤪

1 star for the staff, 1 star for good public accessibility. Otherwise, unfortunately far too expensive for the dark, dusty room. You also have to like the completely transparent shower without a curtain in the middle of the room - the lack of any privacy is not my case. I'm glad I wasn't here with the kids! The mattresses were very soft or saggy, 3 pillows for 2 people. Breakfast was average, the white sausages were out at 8:20 and weren't refilled.

The FLEMINGS Hotel in Munich. The reception was warm and different as you stand with the host at a station to check in , ours was with MARCEL a very nice man with a very polished touch . It was seamless . The room was large and resembled the pictures on the website. The shower is glassed in so it looks out on the bedroom,(no privacy)but we had nothing to hide so it was a nice touch . Minibar was included and refilled daily. Breakfast was not included but is well worth the expense. Location was perfect…across the street from the main train station (HBF) ,tram and subway. Close to old town ..4 minutes by tram. By train, Fussen was an 1h30 min away, Salzburg was less than 2hrs , Dachau 20 minutes . Mall beneath the HBF was a big + …it had all the conveniences , groceries,restaurants (mostly take out),pharmacy, liquors and then some . Thank you again MARCEL and DARINA for frequent inquiries as to our satisfaction. Last but not least a special thanks to IVANA (the birthday girl) in management for coming to my rescue for helping me locate a store to replace an essential accessory for my CPAP machine . Staff friendly, service good, but unfortunately the toilets are very small and the room has many minor flaws that ultimately significantly spoil the impression of a 4 star hotel.

When I say MULTIPLE TIMES at check-in that I have to extend a day, and I prefer to do it RIGHT NOW and IMMEDIATELY, because I'm there for work reasons and can't plan when I have time for it or whether I have to do the checkout theater I have time... and then the employee says, yes, we'll just do it later. Even after repeated insistence, no, not now. Yes, then I book in another hotel because I get the confirmation IMMEDIATELY and can pay IMMEDIATELY and can then leave immediately after handing over the keys. Also the cupboard DIRECTLY in the entrance area, total design flaw. And the booking confirmation from the website only came on the day we checked in, so we had already clarified by phone whether our reservation was really through. All in all: cheap, but far from full marks. (and this for things that can be easily solved organizationally)

Great 3 night stay with friends. Breakfast was excellent. Facilities including sauna and gym great, room very comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Looks better on the pictures, I expected more for 180 euro per night. Half of the lamps in the room did not work, and the promised yoga mat from the room description was not to be found. Workout room did not have good ventilation. Very convenient if you are travelling from Hauptbahnhof though.

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to most important sites and in front of it is the train headquarters and a tram station. The service at the hotel is excellent. We took a two-storey suite on the floor above the bathroom, with a double bed, under a bathroom, an outdoor sink, two sofas, and a dining table. The only point I didn't like was that there was no kettle, nor did they include bathroom supplies such as a brush, toothpaste/cotton, and eartips, and there was no slipper (only when I asked the cleaner did he give me a slipper). The bed in our room had two mattresses, one was comfortable and one was bad. The reception was very nice, and when we entered, they gave us a card for each of us to get a drink from the café. The hotel location is perfect and close to the tram station and main train station as well, the people at the hotel reception are of great help. We booked a suite that has two floors with the beds being on the second floor along with a small toilet and tint sink. On the first floor there was a glass shower (with no dimming or curtains) and toilet along with external sink, as well as a small coach and small dining table and fridge. Cons: Badly there is no kettle, slippers (we were provided with ine when we asked), toiletries. One of the beds was really not comfy 🥲.

Only its good location, located in front of the Munich central station, is the only thing notable. The rest, much to improve: -Self check-in service, which shows a considerable reduction in staff -Room cleaning every 2 days, they say to contribute to nature and climate change, but they do not say that it is also to reduce costs. Luckily it can be indicated that they do it every day. Even so, one day they forgot and had to be claimed. -Correct breakfast, but staff with very little desire and little attention. -One day one of the two quilts was missing; We indicated it and the receptionist took one out of a closet, put the cover on it right there at the reception and gave it to us so that we could take it directly to the room, to the 6th floor. I had never seen this in any hotel. In short, I would only recommend it if you need to be close to Central Station.

Top located, cozy city hotel with a very good breakfast. Directly on the tram line and at the south train station exit. Not very large rooms, but practically furnished. Only the air extraction in the shower and toilet could be more effective.

We found this hotel as a very nice place to stay. It's located right in the city centre of Munich, steps away from Munich Hauptbahnof and walking distance from the Old City and its attractions. Very warm and welcoming reception staff, good-sized and clean room, comfortable beds and delicious breakfast are few of benefits one can get staying there. Highly recommended. We will definitely come back. Thank you.

We were happy with every aspect of this hotel, from the clean room to the sauna facilities to the excellent reception. Marcel knocked it out of the park!

very good location right next to the train station, but not a really nice area. Beds (two single beds that always slipped apart) and the mattresses were far too soft. We had a duplex, but the second floor doesn't really offer any added value. There is no heating; only one air conditioner that was set to 15 degrees (and therefore very cold). Good breakfast buffet. Check-in procedure with self-check-in is relatively complicated.

The location is good. It's in front of the station. The hotel rooms are very nice and clean. I used it when I was traveling alone, and I would like to come here again next time. I recommend it.

There are some advantages and disadvantages. Pros: the location (right next to public transport), room upgrade when there was a problem Cons: cleaning (we said twice or more for cleaning but they did not come. We stayed 5 nights, on the last day they finally cleaned the room but didn't renew the empty soap bottle.), there is not a thing in the reseption every time.

The room was great with an excellent breakfast! Sadly our TV did not work and no-one could fix it :-( Not sure about the glass showers....

Very good but more information needed on arrival. NOTER: Your room will only be cleaned and the min bar restocked every other day.

Very well run hotel - the only drawback... the food in the restaurant...
