Fleischwerk Steakhouse in Preetz

We wholeheartedly recommend Fleischwerk and are happy to do so again and again to our friends. We've also been there with our family. Important: always make a reservation. Also: bring an appetite - everything from appetizers and main courses to dessert is delicious. We've attached all the photos from our gallery. 5 out of 5 stars. Keep it up!

From the outside, I initially thought this was a small, cramped restaurant – but inside, it feels completely open and extremely well-designed. Furthermore, everything is decorated with real high quality and taste. The service was fantastic: two young men, super friendly and competent. You immediately felt at home. The highlight, of course, was the food. I had the saddle of lamb with fresh spinach and potato gratin. The lamb was perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and without any tendons – you can tell they pay attention to quality here. I was particularly impressed by the simplicity of the combination: perfectly seasoned lamb with spinach and a touch of garlic – exactly my thing! The gratin went perfectly with it and provided a lovely, delicious change. Thank you so much and keep up the good work :)

Super delicious, was ready quickly and everyone was really friendly and helpful.

Ate here today with my husband and child, and as always, it was delicious. The meat was grilled perfectly, just as ordered, the side dishes were delicious, and the children's menu selection was excellent. All in all, a great visit, and the owner and staff were also accommodating and polite.

Five of us came for dinner (reservations required). A very friendly waitress welcomed us and showed us to our tables. The food was delicious, and the steaks were cooked to perfection. The fries were also worth mentioning. The lovely ambiance, the excellent food, and the friendly service ensure that we will be back.

Starting with the very attentive, friendly service, fresh ingredients are a top priority here...and continuing with the perfectly cooked steaks and delicious side dishes. I can only agree with the other 5-star reviews. I hope this standard is maintained. Highly recommended. After a long break, I've been back twice for the 500th anniversary. Everything was just as great as before. The waiters just need to get out of the habit of using the informal "du" form of address with guests.

Very friendly service and truly delicious food. We got a table at very short notice (at lunchtime). The restaurant was recommended to me by friends. The grilled meat with a side salad is a truly substantial meal. The meat was cooked very well, and the fried potatoes were also truly delicious. The service was very friendly and accommodating. This certainly won't be our last visit to the "Fleischwerk." 🙂

The service is very attentive and courteous. The ambience is nice, but unfortunately the acoustics are not the best. The food is great, but the portions are no longer as plentiful as they once were... I can still highly recommend the restaurant and would love to come here again and again.

It was a complete and perfect affair this afternoon. The rump steak with side dishes is a sensory delight, the service is attentive, friendly and super fast, the restaurant itself is cozy and unobtrusive. I'll definitely come back.

I was a little skeptical because of the many positive reviews, but I can only agree with everyone else. There were four of us, and we all had the 350g ribeye steak. Wonderful and absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection. Absolutely recommend it. We'd go back anytime. The service was super friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, tips can only be given in cash. That's something to keep in mind; we didn't have any cash with us. I'm already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you so much.

I've been here several times and have never been disappointed! Everything tastes delicious.

We were able to get a seat spontaneously over the phone. No one on site had any information, but we did get a seat after all. When we ordered, only my girlfriend took the drinks and then asked if the vegetable stir-fry had beef or turkey, even though my girlfriend had specified this when ordering. Unfortunately, the vegetable stir-fry turned out to be vegetable soup. The food, apart from the vegetable stir-fry, was okay. Although we've heard a lot of good things about the Fleischwerk, I unfortunately can't recommend it again. Maybe we were just unlucky that day. Unfortunately, given the prices, I would have expected more. Nevertheless, good luck in the future.

A steakhouse that really deserves the name. The steaks were grilled to perfection, the dishes included various potato side dishes and salad starters. Very nice and attentive service. A nice menu with starters and desserts for every taste. Top recommendation for steak lovers. Table reservations are strongly recommended. Payment possible with all major credit cards.

Overall, the meat processor offers solid performance. From the smooth service to the waiting time and the good food, there isn't much to complain about. Unfortunately, the dining room is usually full, narrow and loud. So I didn't like the atmosphere that much. As expected, the food is of a good standard. Unfortunately the price has already increased significantly. 11 months ago Wiener Schnitzel was €24, now €28. Dear hosts, the end of the price spiral has been reached. I think that well-run restaurants don't have to charge $6 for a large beer. Please stop driving up the prices here. Conclusion: Highly recommended, compromises have to be made in terms of the atmosphere and the increased prices. Service and food are solid. You can do it.

Very nice restaurant. Even without a reservation, we weren't turned away but were allowed to sit at the counter. We have rarely eaten such a good steak! The portions are more than enough and the prices are not overpriced. The service was more than friendly!

I was here for the first time today, after reading a lot of entries, I had to stop by and what can I say? All the reviews and ratings I read and followed personally exceeded my visit. Location TOP, ambience TOP, service and staff TOP, the food... without words, I lived in Preetz for decades, I was still part of the steakhouse times at the train station but what you get here surpasses everything. I think I can say that it was the best steak I've ever eaten, and then at the end the chef comes to the table and asks if everything was good... without question, the best thing I've ever experienced have. I hope this restaurant and its employees can maintain what they have here for a long time. My absolute respect for 2 hours of absolute well-being. On behalf of my girlfriend and me, thank you very much for these great hours, you are absolutely great and a huge win for preetz ❤️

Relatively small steakhouse with a clear menu. I don't know if the restaurant has its own parking spaces, we couldn't find them so we parked on the street and walked a bit. Ambiance looks modern, comfortable chairs. Placemats and napkins somehow seem a bit cheap or not quite in keeping with the whole thing. We had bruschetta first, very tasty, everyone always interpreted something their own but it was more classic. Main course ribeye with baked potato and pork fillet. There was nothing to complain about at all. All the meat was tender and cooked to perfection. We will definitely come back.

Despite the restaurant being very full, the food was very good and there was nothing to complain about at all. The meat was high quality and the service was very accommodating even though every seat was occupied. You can see the passion for what they do!

There were 11 of us who went to the Fleischwerk last night...at 5:30 sharp everyone had their drinks (the house was full)..the food was super warm, everything was fresh, meat was exactly as requested (5 or 6 different dishes), that Staff - it's HAMMER! I haven't eaten so well in a long time (the ambience was also great), all my guests were thrilled 🤩 and the price ratio is also right. the restaurant is a TOP place! Thanks to the team, LG

The food is phenomenal. Mega quality and top preparation. Service was good. The toilets are small and lack a changing station. A few light bulbs need to be replaced.

We ordered the food, picked it up and ate it at home, it was very tasty and definitely recommended 🤤. Finally there is a good restaurant here again where you can eat steak :) I hope you stay with Preetz for a long time 😉.

The food (skill steak surf & turf) was very, very tasty and grilled to perfection. The service was great and very attentive. Points are deducted for the ambience. We were there on a Friday evening, the restaurant was fully booked and the volume in the back room was uncomfortably loud.

The steakhouse “Fleischwerk” is an absolute asset to Preetz. Although I have a bit of a problem with the name “Fleischwerk”, I have to say. Everything is great here: the food/steaks are delicious, the atmosphere is modern and cozy at the same time, the service is friendly, quick and attentive. In the evening the chef does another round and comes from table to table to ask whether everything was to your satisfaction. We strongly recommend that you reserve a table in advance, as the restaurant is always busy, especially on weekends. So if you want to eat a tender and juicy steak in a cozy atmosphere, this is the place for you!

We were there today with 19 people as a Christmas party (everyone had 3 courses) and were thrilled. Everything worked great. Nice staff, very good food and coziness! It wasn't the last time we were there!

The first impression of the restaurant is a bit confusing. Old half-timbered from the outside and quite modern inside. On the menu you will find all the classics of steakhouse cuisine, and on a separate menu there are seasonal offers. In my case, autumnal pumpkin dishes. First there was a good tomato soup with mozzarella and then as the main course a vegetable pan with strips of turkey fillet. Both were completely convincing. Not seasoned, the vegetables were nice and crunchy, the meat was on point so full marks. The service is unobtrusive, friendly and fast, and the prices are completely reasonable. Clear recommendation if you are nearby and want to have a good meal. However, you should reserve in advance.

We made a reservation by phone a day in advance and got a table in a 1h45min time slot right after it opened. It is therefore advisable to reserve early. The reception was okay - but the service staff at our table that evening was very attentive, careful and well informed. The beef carpaccio as a starter was very nicely prepared and really good, The steaks we ordered were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The salad and vegetable side dish were fresh, crunchy and delicious. There was also nothing to complain about with the potato wedges and fried potatoes. Only the turkey steak could have been a little softer, but it was also very seasoned. All in all a successful evening, we would love to come back!

We were there for the first time. Didn't like the atmosphere. Office lights illuminated the rooms. Uncomfortable. It was full. We were seated at a table for two, between two tables for six on the left and right. Distance approx. 60cm on both sides. Conversations came to us directly from both sides. You could hardly have a conversation yourself and didn't like it because everyone heard every word. Before offering such emergency services, it is better to refuse the guest. We would have done better that way. Combined with the bright lighting, it had a cafeteria feel. We then waited 10 minutes for the card. We ordered the drinks and food together. We then had to wait 35 minutes for the drinks and an hour for the food. We were about to leave the restaurant. The quality of the food was good. The steak was on point, the fried potatoes were good. Unfortunately, the portions of the side dishes were so small that we ended up eating somewhere else afterwards. Conclusion for us: We didn't like the ambience, the waiting times were too long, the portions were too small, but the quality of the food was good.

The Fleischwerk impresses with the selection of dishes and the taste of them. The service is above average friendly and attentive. Even the chef comes personally to inquire about satisfaction. We will visit again as soon as possible as it is difficult to choose between the dishes. One point deducted for the ambience, as the small restaurant seems very crowded, but there is nothing to complain about in terms of noise.

The plate is interestingly designed. You can choose house-style fries or a baked potato with light herb quark. Garlic bread is served with it. You will definitely be full and the prices are absolutely acceptable for this quality. The highlight was that the chef came to the table later and asked whether everything was to our satisfaction. We were very satisfied and full. The team was very friendly and we had fun with the employees at times. The atmosphere was great!
