Fleischmann - Steakhouse & Weinbar in Esslingen am Neckar

Four of us ate at Fleischmann on December 20, 2024. The ambience is absolutely appealing. Really nice. The service is friendly. The food was very tasty. A real pleasure. We ordered the Manzo Tagliata three times and the Argentinian Black Angus Rib Eye once, with sweet potatoes, grilled vegetables and potato gratin as a side dish. Conclusion: Great restaurant, delicious upscale food, great service, we'll be back!

We were guests with friends last night and everyone was absolutely thrilled. We had fillet and roast beef from Argentina and roast beef from Australia. Everything was just right, we would love to come back.

Called at short notice and requested a table immediately. Unfortunately it was not possible to receive any information during the phone call and I was put off waiting for a call back. That callback never came. When I called again it was always busy. It's a shame the staff is so incompetent.

Nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Something different and the card is also special. The price is relatively high. However, you can treat yourself to it every now and then. The meat was good and the poke bowl was also delicious.

The ambience is absolutely appealing. Really nice. The service is friendly, but for me personally there was a bit too much at the table. The food was absolutely delicious. A real pleasure. Ordered the Simmental from the chalkboard. 100g for 22 euros. Plus mashed potatoes and bourbon sauce. Extremely delicious. However, when I paid I was surprised with double the price as there is only 200g of Simmental, which I wasn't told in advance. Conclusion: great restaurant, delicious upscale food; the service could be a little more casual.

Nice atmosphere in an old factory building. Very courteous reception that accompanies you to your seat. Service is friendly. The steaks are great. Great fries and tasty sauces. The only disadvantage: not at all handicapped accessible, as there are steep stairs (also to the toilet in the basement).

Basically the food is good, but if you take the prices into account, you can get just as good quality for less money elsewhere, it's simply far too expensive. The service was too intrusive for us (I don't expect to be touched multiple times by the service in a restaurant like this). Our spot on the upper floor by the window was slightly drafty. In fact, we won't be going there anymore.

We have been to the Fleischmann Steakhouse several times and each time it was a thoroughly successful visit. The food is excellent every time - the steaks are perfectly prepared, of the best quality and cooked to perfection. The side dishes and starters also impress with their taste. The drinks are also particularly worth mentioning: the wine selection is great, and the cocktails are also very good! The service is always friendly, attentive and professional, so that you feel completely comfortable. The Fleischmann Steakhouse is an absolute highlight for us and definitely a recommendation for everyone. We'll definitely be back!

We had a very pleasant evening in the Fleischmann restaurant. A very friendly service, from the reservation to the bill. Very good steaks and delicious NY cheesecake in a glass.

We had a wonderful evening. The food was perfect, the staff very friendly and attentive. The only criticism that could be said is that the light at our place was too weak. There were 6 of us at a long table.

In short: the food was amazing (USA ribeye, cheesecake) and the service was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was quiet and appropriate for the occasion (we were on the 2nd floor). Tip: Even if you're a non-smoker, just go out on the terrace with a glass of wine - great atmosphere to chat! Come again...

It tasted very good. There were two of us on a day when it wasn't crowded. The waitress sat at a table and wrote WhatsApps, which I found a bit inappropriate. After we had our food, no one came to the table to ask us if we would like to order anything else. Even when we wanted to pay, no one came to the table, despite searching looks, waving and wallets in hand. After an hour I finally got up myself and paid at the counter. Given the prices, I expected a different service…

It's rare to find a restaurant where service, ambience, value for money and quality are right. That is the case here. Great ambience, charming and courteous waiters and then very fine food. I can recommend it to everyone when they are in Stuttgart.

The Fleischmann is embedded in the Dick area in the middle of Esslingen, an old industrial plant with a beautiful clinker brick facade. Disadvantage: Only paid parking is possible in the parking garage. Our waiters looked after us well, were friendly and helpful. Good advice on wine. We were very satisfied with the delicious starter. My main course was a tuna fillet with glass noodles, especially the fillet could have been a little warmer. The taste and quantity were great. The espresso came quickly and hot, as it should. A warm summer night on the Fleischmanns patio, delicious drinks and a culinary journey around the world (we were in Hawaii 🌺 (starter and the best poke far from home ;-)), Thailand and Japan (a bit much sauce for me personally, but the meat great grilled) and chilling music...what more could you want. Very nice, attentive service and our puppy (who doesn't always know how to behave 100% yet) was warmly welcomed. Thank you for the lovely evening! We'd love to come back, even if Reutlingen isn't right around the corner...

A very nice restaurant with excellent service. The staff were very attentive and professional. What I find very unfortunate, however, is the price of my dish. I had a bowl that cost €29 but barely contained any tuna. I think that the price-performance ratio is not right. The wine was very good and the crew was very nice, so I might give the restaurant another chance.

The Fleischmann is a nice restaurant. We sat outside and felt very comfortable. Were here for the third time now and it was always a pleasure. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly and attentive.

Very tasty food of good quality, unfortunately a bit expensive

The Fleischmann was recommended to me, maybe we had a bad day... but the visit was very disappointing. We had feta for starters, tacos and steak. The steak was tough and stringy, the salad dressing thin. The employee was very unfriendly… before I could even ask anything I was rejected with his hand, he didn't even say goodbye to us.

With a larger group we decided to have a meal at Fleischmann. Due to an error on both sides (I wrote the reservation by email a month ago, but it was not processed and I thought that this reservation had been confirmed to me through another reservation confirmation) we had to wait a moment for the table for the 10 people was directed. We were then told that since they were not expecting such a large group that evening, there might be longer waiting times. To be clear, we didn't have to wait longer at any point except perhaps for the first drink. Everything was absolutely within reason and not noticeably long. The service was also consistent, from the beginning with the reservation chaos to the end, always friendly and in a good mood. Now let's come to the food: What I would like in a somewhat more upscale restaurant like this would be a bread basket/greetings from the kitchen. For starters, my partner and I chose the duet tartare. The salmon and tuna tartare was okay. I found it a little too dry or not worth highlighting in terms of taste. For the main course I had the short ribs, which were really tender and tasted good. I personally found the sweet potato fries a little too salty, but I also have to highlight the mustard sauce, which I liked. My partner had the tuna steak (briefly fried) which I have to say was okay, but I didn't like the taste of the glass noodles 100%. I was allowed to try the NY steak sandwich with another person, but in our opinion the bread was clearly too dry. All in all it was a successful evening and the complaints were at a high level.

Still highly recommended in 2024! The steaks are a poem, tender and cooked to perfection. Very attentive and friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. The wine selection is great and gin lovers will get their money's worth here. A clear enrichment for Esslingen.

Food was excellent. Service was friendly, but turnaround was a bit slow, food items of one course were served at different times to the guests, some were wrong or forgotten. Some guests smoked, despite being outdoors, smoke unpleasantly came to our table.

Overall a great evening. Four of us had dinner here with friends. We received a very friendly welcome and were served very nicely, friendly and humorously throughout the evening in a very pleasant atmosphere. The starters of carpaccio, burratta, prawns, spicy tuna and piementos de padron were in the middle for everyone. Everything was really good, I was a bit disappointed with the spicy tuna, too much macadamia for me personally and nothing special with a bit of chili threads, tuna and the teriyaki sauce were good. The main courses 2x surf & turf, Australian roast beef, Argentinian fillet, pulpo and tuna. The tuna fillet was simply brilliant, the glass noodles were extremely seasoned and tasted great. Unfortunately, my Argentinian fillet was the toughest piece of meat at the table, the roast beef was actually much more tender and also really top! The mashed potatoes were completely fine, not enough nutmeg for my taste, but it's purely a matter of taste. The pulp was buttery and excellent. In my opinion, all dishes, whether meat, pulp, shrimp, lack roasted aromas. Maybe they were put on the grill for a short time, everything seemed to me to be so well cooked and therefore the pulp and shrimp had a slightly soapy consistency. The desserts rounded off the evening successfully. The ingredients are all top quality and this review is purely based on my personal taste. Thanks also to the great and attentive service staff!

The first and last time as a guest. Reserved for 3 people on Friday evening, 7 p.m. A maximum of three quarters of the tables outside and inside were occupied. After waiting for over 35 minutes, no drinks order had been taken. A waitress brought us the drinks from the neighboring table. Despite telling the waitress that we wanted to take our order, no service came. During our presence of almost 40 minutes, we only saw service outside twice. It's a shame for the time.

Location: The decor is very stylish. Lots of wood and yet very modern. That's how you want it. After eating, you can also go to the second level and watch everyone eating from above and enjoy a delicious cocktail as a nightcap. Regarding the service: it is excellent! not intrusive but very attentive and courteous. Drinks: If you want an aperitif, a good wine or a cocktail (even with an extra gin menu) in advance, I would like to be in good hands here. Of course it also has the standard (beer & non-alcoholic) About the food: our favorite starter here is the two types of tartare, the Pokebowls (can be chosen as a starter portion) were also very good as a starter (perhaps a bit too much for those who eat less) Steaks & side dishes: the selection of different meat options speaks for itself. If you don't find anything there, you should eat fermented meat. We have already treated ourselves to a few variations and have never had anything to complain about. The daily menu shows other “gram options” that are available in the restaurant. Even vegetarians certainly won't go home hungry ;-) The side dishes can be chosen and enjoyed, from typical fries (crunchy and delicious) and other potato preparations to vegetables in various preparation methods. Our tip for the sauces: the in-house chimichuri. Perfect with a good piece of meat. We always like to come back to enjoy a nice evening. See you soon dear ones

Unfortunately, that was a very bad experience. Although the restaurant has a great atmosphere, the food and service left a lot to be desired. We had dinner there yesterday with a larger group. None of the steaks came as ordered. We had one go back (ordered medium-rare, delivered well done) and when the replacement steak arrived it still wasn't right. The service seemed annoyed and overwhelmed and the colleague's side salad came after her meal. All in all, not a good experience, unfortunately.

As a steakhouse... most of the steaks we ordered as a group were NOT on point. Bad for the expectations that the service conveys. Price/performance not good.

The young service employee was rude at the reception. During dinner we were looked after by two excellent waiters. 5+ stars for that. When I wanted the dessert menu I had to ask the other person again, after the second request he hissed at me from a distance “I told the other person” and I clapped my hands angrily. impossible. it doesn't do the restaurant justice. Food was super tasty by the way…price/performance was great.

Fleischmanns has been one of our favorite restaurants in Esslingen for several months. The ambience with the location in an old industrial building as well as the slightly insulated interior of the restaurant and the beautiful terrace are very inviting. The food itself is highly recommended! Yes, the prices are a bit high, but you should pay well for something good. It is recommended, for example: B. the pork belly, the pokebowls or the steak sandwich. The extremely attentive employees are also very noteworthy. We will continue to be happy to welcome you again and again :-)

We came all the way from Munich because our friends were raving about Fleischmann's! Excellent meat, great preparation, very tasty side dishes (favorite: potato gratin). The salmon & tuna tartare was also heavenly! Super nice terrace (with chic heating lamps) and very cozy interior. Great wine list and great drinks! We will be back! :-)

Very good food from the prawns to the steak with more than enough side dishes. You should bring a little time, it is very well attended. Ambiance is spacious, high ceilings, lots of wood, western style. Thank you 😙

A really nice restaurant. The "Fleischmann" is somewhat hidden and cannot be seen directly from the street. The ambience is really nice and appealing. The food is top. Cooking point exactly hit. In terms of price it is on the higher side. The quality is correspondingly high. However, I think the starters in particular are a bit too expensive given their size. I agree with the main course and dessert. The selection of open wines should be reconsidered. We had 3 of the 4 white wines offered and none of them were really convincing. This should be improved again. I am convinced by the concept and felt very comfortable and will definitely come back in a few months.

Very tasty food (we had the tartare of salmon and tuna as a starter and for the main course we chose Peru, Thailand and Spain from the “world trip” as well as grilled vegetables), very good drinks (great Aperol spritz, very good Sauvignon Blanc from the Weingut Baier) and excellent and very attentive service! You can definitely bring it! The prices are okay considering the quality, but you should easily expect to pay between 80 and 90 euros per person if you want to have a good time. But it's worth it 😎.

Once again everything was great...the food and meat was a dream and the ambience was very appealing. 2 small drawbacks: I found a selection of cheese to be very suitable for dessert and the waitress rattled the cutlery next to us very loudly. But these are not real problems, just suggestions.

Sadly, do not come here for a proper steak - all other food is fantastic. This is my 3rd time coming and the steaks consistently come out with very little seasoning and with minimal sear - you should be able to run your knife over the sear and hear it. It was cooked perfectly medium-rare as ordered. Has highchairs for babies; however no changing table (at least in the men's bathroom) and no good spot to change a baby - you will have to resort to laying out a mat on the floor in front of the bathrooms.

Friends of good taste, the Steakhouse Fleischmann offers first-class steaks and a small selection of international dishes in an attractive, industrial-style ambience. The quality of the meat is very good and it is cooked to perfection. Prices are not cheap but completely reasonable.

Recht hohe Preise und leider in der Standardkarte keine Steaks größer als 350g. Aber das Essen war sehr gut.

Ambiente ist Top, essen (Steak) wirklich sehr gut, leider bei der Seteak Empfehlung nicht nach dem Preis gefragt. 64,— Euro (ohne Beilage) für ein 360gramm Steak (Simmentaler,) empfinde ich als überzogen. Daher nur 4 Punkte und keine Widrholungsgefahr.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Ich hatte das Filet vom Black Angus und die Süßkartoffelpommes mit Speck-Ahornsirup und es war unfassbar lecker! Das Ganze wurde dann noch mit dem besten Nachtisch, den ich seit Langem hatte getoppt! Zuvorkommender Service und wir hatten unser Essen auch zügig! Vielen Dank für den tollen Geburtstag!

Obwohl das Personal in diesem Steakrestaurant äußerst höflich und aufmerksam war, wurde mein Besuch durch die Qualität des Essens getrübt, die weit davon entfernt war, die proklamierte Spezialität zu sein. Die Fleischgerichte, angeblich die Stärke des Ortes, waren eine echte Enttäuschung vom ersten Bissen an. Die Zubereitung des Fleisches ließ die kulinarische Meisterschaft vermissen, die man von einem Lokal erwarten würde, das sich als Steakexperte bezeichnet. Der Mangel an Würze und die inkonsistente Textur wiesen auf mangelnde Kochkunst hin. Die überraschend kleinen Portionen ließen viel zu wünschen übrig und rechtfertigten nicht die hohen Preise. Die Kosten für die Erfahrung waren im Vergleich zur Qualität des Essens exorbitant. Im Rückblick finde ich es schwer zu verstehen, wie ein Restaurant so viel für Gerichte verlangen kann, die nicht nur an Geschmack, sondern auch an der grundlegenden Qualität fehlen, die man von einer Spezialitätengrill erwartet. Die Enttäuschung erreichte ihren Höhepunkt, als ich mich daran erinnerte, sogar in unerwarteten Orten ein qualitativ besseres Entrecôte genossen zu haben. Der Vergleich mit der Qualität des Essens an einer zufälligen Ecke in Marokko betonte noch mehr das Fehlen kulinarischer Exzellenz in diesem Lokal. Zusammenfassend lässt dieses Steakrestaurant trotz des aufmerksamen und professionellen Services in Bezug auf die Qualität des Essens, die Portionsgröße und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr zu wünschen übrig. Ich kann diesen Ort nicht empfehlen für diejenigen, die eine authentische kulinarische Fleischerfahrung suchen. Zweifeln Sie nicht daran, dass es in meinem Buch der europäischen Gastronomiekritiken EATWORLD 2024 Erwähnung finden wird.

Einfach perfekt.. ich liebe gute essen und ich esse oft draußen. Aber bis jetzt noch nie eine so gute Lokal gefunden. Ich Danke Gott das ich diese Restaurant gefunden habe . Wer sich wirklich verwöhnen möchte, der geht zu „Fleischmann“. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Wer meint dass, das Verwöhnen billig sein soll, der muss zu anderen Möglichkeiten ausweichen. Hier ist das Verwöhnen jeden Cent wert. Ich brauche hier keine Fotos zu posten, lassen Sie sich Überraschen :)

Der Eingang des Fleischmann ist etwas versteckt, aber sobald man ihn gefunden hat, wird man von freundlichem und super aufmerksamem Personal sowie einer wirklich schicken Einrichtung begrüßt. Der Service ist schnell, aufmerksam und höflich. Die Auswahl hat mir gut gefallen, zusätzlich zur Karte gibt es auf Tafeln immer noch weitere Cuts, auf die das Personal auch aufmerksam macht. Auch die Zubereitung ging flott. Das argentinische Filet war eine 9, die Ofenkartoffel eine 10 und das Grillgemüse eine 7,5, was bei mir aber alles schon echt gut ist. Einziger Kritikpunkt waren die Messer, welche ich doch gerne gezähnt und nicht glatt hätte.

Das Steak (Australien Black Angus, Rib Eye) war sehr gut, genau auf den Punkt und butterweich. Das Grillgemüse hätte etwas wärmer sein können, geschmacklich gut, etwas mehr Pep mit Gewürzen wäre vorteilhaft. Personal und Ambiente war auch sehr gut.

Zu einem erfolgreichen Jahresabschluss gehört ein passendes Restaurant! Das haben wir hier gefunden. Gutes Essen, schöne Räumlichkeiten und nettes Personal. Wir kommen gerne wieder und haben schon ein Essen im neuen Jahr geplant.

Schöne Ambiente, mit köstlichen Gerichten und sehr aufmerksamer Servicepersonal. Eine Tischreservierung ist empfehlenswert.

Qualitativ hochwertige und auf den Punkt gegrillte Steaks, freundliches und kompetentes Personal, besonders gut gefallen hat mir die Tatsache, dass es kleine Portionen gibt um vielfältiges aus aller Welt probieren zu können. Absolutes Highlight war der Schweinebauch. Großes Lob und definitiv Empfehlung 👍
