I ordered fufu with groundnut beef soup and plantain, and I have to say I'm absolutely delighted. I've eaten fufu before, back in Nigeria, but yours is truly worlds better. Thank you so much for this amazing culinary experience! Next time, I'll definitely come and order in person.

There were four of us eating here, and we have nothing but positive things to say. We'd deduct one point for the ambiance; while it really does look like a restaurant on vacation, it felt a bit chaotic and disorganized at times. But we were there for the food, after all 😎😎. We had beef and goat as a starter, which was cooked to perfection and seasoned wonderfully. A dip would have been a great addition. For our main courses, we had two coconut rice options: fufu with beef and one of the cassava, corn, and okra dishes. All in all, every dish was excellent. Naturally, it was seasoned and presented in a traditional Ghanaian style. For dessert, we shared the pancake, which was also perfectly fine and freshly made. The staff were helpful with our drink choices, and we had, among other things, Sobolo and Fanta from Ghana. Both were excellent. We would suggest adding pictures to the menu as an improvement, so that you can at least visualize the dish when reading the ingredients. Otherwise: a fantastic team!

I'm giving two stars for the friendliness of the service; everything else was less than great. We had to wait almost two hours. The server had told us it would take a while because they were very busy, but you don't really expect two hours, and by the time the food finally arrived, it was almost cold. The taste was unusual, very unfamiliar, and the consistency was reminiscent of thick semolina pudding with some tough meat mixed in. We didn't particularly enjoy it, but that's a matter of taste. It was definitely freshly prepared, which explains the long wait and the exorbitant prices. We certainly won't be ordering it again.

We ordered fufu with beef (super tender and juicy) in peanut sauce and fufu with mushrooms, along with kelewele and peanuts. Since we had never eaten Ghanaian food before, we were all the more thrilled; it absolutely won us over! The taste of all the dishes was outstanding, and we were particularly taken with the kelewele. We will definitely come back in person to try more of their cuisine. Highly recommended! The ambiance looks really inviting in the photos and TikTok videos!

I was there with friends. It's a small, manageable restaurant, but you can still find a quiet spot since the layout is a bit winding. The food was authentic West African and very tasty. What I found disappointing was the rather long wait for our food. I will definitely come back.

Highly recommended. The food at Flavours is incredibly delicious and full of authentic flavors. I was particularly surprised by the drinks selection – the Guinness malt beer is fantastic, and the beer served in the old coconut shell was a highlight in itself. The service is very friendly, and the owner is an incredibly attentive and warm person. I'll definitely be back.

We spontaneously decided to go there on a Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. and were initially surprised that no other guests seemed to be coming for dinner; apparently, people there tend to order and pick up their food – it was very cold and not particularly inviting. Nevertheless, the lady in the kitchen was very busy preparing food, and it took quite a while before she could give us a menu. We ordered mixed appetizers and received them after about a quarter of an hour. It was lovingly prepared and a small mix of sides (some kind of mini spring rolls and fried plantain wedges) and meat (a small, very spicy turkey wing and a few smaller pieces of rather tough beef bites). It came with some salad. Our request for some sauce was confirmed, but apparently related to a main course. We asked for drinks ourselves, as she continued preparing in the kitchen and didn't have time. For the main course, we again ordered a mix of various games, but after a short time we were completely stuffed from the fried bananas and decided (also due to the temperature in the room) to take the other dishes with us. This worked wonderfully and quickly, but unfortunately there was no bill – I found €58 for the dishes plus two Fantas a bit steep. But we were hoping for the surprise of the main course, and when we got home, we were able to see what it was. A chicken thigh on red rice (both obviously microwaved) with a spoonful of sauce (ketchup) and a forkful of salad. I can only assume I was having a terrible day, because this is absolutely unacceptable and deviates significantly from the positive reviews of other users. However, I'm not thrilled and won't try it again. It's a shame, but it wasn't worth it.

My family always enjoys the local Ghanaian dishes here. Authentic and delicious cuisine that brings the rich flavours of Africa right to Mülheim, Germany. Friendly staff.

Folks, do not sleep on this Mülheim a.d.Ruhr gem! Warm and inviting staff. Really friendly vibe all around. Delicious and exciting food. My wife and I shared a beef pie to start and split the banku & orkra (beef) with the fried plantain platter (turkey). We can’t wait to go back to try the tilapia, soups, and a dozen other things. Also, African Guinness? Didn’t know that was a thing, but I’m a big fan now. C’mon, you know you’re bored with pizza and döner. Go try something new at Flavour Cuisine! They’ll treat ya right.

As a connoisseur of African cuisine, I can only say: Everything here is just perfect! The dishes are authentic, lovingly prepared, and taste just like what you'd find in a real African home. Fresh ingredients and excellent value for money! The service was warm and attentive. We'll be back! 👍🏽

It was a very successful dinner. Very friendly service. It took a while for the food to arrive, but that didn't bother us. Freshly prepared food can take a little longer. For the price, you get an incredible amount of food, and the food is also very good. I'm always stuffed and pleasantly surprised by the bill. The place is absolutely clean, and the atmosphere is nice for its size. If you want to experience authentic Ghanaian food, you should definitely eat here.
