We went there for lunch with a large group on a Saturday. It was perfect! We had a delicious pasta dish, and you can refill your salad at the buffet. (Great service, thank you!!) The price/performance ratio was fair. I was surprised and will definitely be back.

Four of us were booked for breakfast today. Unfortunately, two people couldn't make it: one because of an unexpected death and the other because a child fell ill overnight. So we went with two people because we didn't want to cancel everything. The breakfast was OK, although I would have expected more for the price, but OK, everything is getting more expensive. The service staff seemed well-kept, but that was it. When we wanted to pay, we were told that we would have to pay a €10 fine for each person not there; it says so on the website. We searched the website for this information at home with five people and couldn't find anything. Even after we explained that there had been an unexpected death and a child fell ill during the night, it was made clear to us that we would have to pay, and that was that. I would have expected a bit more empathy/humanity. I have worked in the catering industry for many years myself and consider this an absolute no-go. The fact is, for me... once and never again.

Now that's what I call service! Even though it was incredibly busy and everyone was busy, the wait staff were friendly, courteous, and prompt. No long waits, and the food was delicious—fresh, well-seasoned, and homemade! The playground was a huge plus, allowing us to eat in peace and keeping the kids entertained. Absolutely delicious!!!

Today, nine of us were at the Fitscheshof to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We reserved a table in advance and were even able to choose whether to sit inside or outside. The drinks and food were chosen fairly quickly. We had a variety of schnitzels and the yellow rice. Everyone enjoyed it. The portions were more than enough for everyone. We visited there for the first time today, traveling over 40 km. It was totally worth it. The food is simply "superb." The portions were huge and delicious. I had the leftovers packed up for me. The service was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely become regulars here – despite the long drive!

Hey guys.. I just ate a crunchy currywurst here (regularly spicy). It was breaded three times in Pankow flour. It was amazing 🤩 so delicious 😋 you have to try it when you're here. Unfortunately, I couldn't take a photo because I gobbled it up so quickly 🙈🤣 For dessert, I'm having some amazing ice cream 😍

Today was our first time here. I'm absolutely thrilled. The restaurant has a beautiful rural setting among fields, but it's definitely worth it. The portions are huge (there's even a bagging station), and the waiters really enjoy their work, something you don't take for granted these days. They're all incredibly polite and attentive, cracking a joke here and there, and you just feel at home. The food, or rather the schnitzels, are super fresh, crispy, and generous. All in all, I highly recommend this restaurant! So what are you waiting for? Please try it! 😁

All-You-Can-Eat Prawns at Fitsche's Hof – highly recommended! We were there yesterday with friends and were completely satisfied. The prawns were incredibly delicious – fresh, perfectly prepared, and as much as we wanted or could eat. Side dishes included salad from the buffet, bread, aioli, and a salsa dip – everything went together wonderfully. The atmosphere was cozy, and the evening overall was a great success. The service was very friendly. A particularly nice touch: The head chef told us that there will be another prawn evening on Wednesday, September 3rd. And starting in October, there will be a theme evening every first Wednesday of the month – for example, a schnitzel buffet. That sounded very promising – we'd love to come back!

We honestly didn't know that you could go so wrong with such a simple dish as "fried potatoes with bacon, onions, and a fried egg." When the food was served, the fried potatoes were cold. In fact, they weren't even remotely warm. We returned the food, and a short while later, it came back to our table. This time with more fried potatoes, but still completely cold. When the plate was returned to the table for the third time, the food was very warm. However, the fried egg was still runny inside. We specifically pointed out that the egg should be cooked well. This time, we just kept the food and ate it. All in all, a culinary disaster. The taste, to be honest, was nothing special either. The children's playground, and especially the play equipment, are completely worn out. We've rarely seen anything so carelessly done. The café could certainly be improved by investing in some areas and placing a little more emphasis on quality. The only really positive thing: The service is very friendly. The location is really beautiful.

I've been to the restaurant for lunch before: friendly staff, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere. But this time I'd like to write about the catering. I have enormous respect for the entire team: conjuring up such a fantastic buffet at short notice is an art. The food was amazing! And there was more than enough! All the guests were thrilled. And I was too. The setup and installation were quick and beautiful. The staff were pleasant, friendly, and reliable. Thank you all for your hard work! Highly recommended!

There's a huge selection of schnitzels here. But not only that, the quantity is gigantic. Everything is very, very tasty. A large selection of side dishes too. If you're not hungry for schnitzel, there are plenty of alternatives. The cakes are also definitely worth trying. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. If you can't make it out to eat, they also deliver, but please note that it can take up to an hour, especially on weekends. Allow for that, and it won't be a problem :-) We're definitely looking forward to our next visit.

The food is delicious and plentiful. You can help yourself to a salad bar. No one goes home hungry. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We celebrated our son's first day of school here 15 years ago and still love coming here.

Not recommended! We weren't thrilled, but didn't want to argue in the restaurant, so we said, "It was okay." By the time we got home, two out of four people had decided to leave a negative review. I was very surprised when the phone rang the next morning and someone from the restaurant called. It wasn't to apologize or evaluate how the reviews came about. But... no trace of reflection, self-criticism, or service (?)... no, we were reprimanded and insulted in a completely inappropriate tone. The team researched my phone number based on my phone reservation in connection with the dishes mentioned in the reviews. Wow! What energy! My recommendation: Put that energy into the on-site service in the future, and the reviews will also improve! 😉

We visited Fitscheshof for the first time today and were completely impressed. A cozy place with a relaxed atmosphere, friendly service, and good food. My mother had the turkey Wiener schnitzel – it was delicious and pleasantly seasoned, but be careful: the portions are large. I had the lemon chicken from the monthly specials, which was also very good. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of the menu, with vegan and vegetarian dishes, as well as the monthly changing selection. We'll definitely be back to try more. Our dog was also warmly welcomed and immediately provided with fresh water. A restaurant with character, and we certainly won't be returning for the last time.

We didn't think anything of it and sat down in front of it, but we were told that we should order and eat quickly, but the waiters were a long time coming. When it finally came, we ordered turkey schnitzel and baked potatoes. You could taste garlic in the baked potatoes with garlic sauce. The turkey schnitzel was full of tendons. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back :(

The Fitscheshof is nestled amidst the fields and forests of the Lower Rhine region. It's a great destination for bike rides. It's a wonderful, safe place to let the kids play while enjoying classic dishes—or vegan options, too. I'd always prefer simple, homemade cakes (great) to a large selection. Tuesday is schnitzel day, €14.90—you can't beat it!

I can only say good things about this excellent restaurant with great seating both inside and out, and this fantastic team who always strive to treat and entertain their guests excellently! (They're always up for a joke, too.) For me/us, it's always a great destination for a family outing, whether by car or bike. They serve delicious food and delicious cakes there. Well, you do have to bring your time, that's true. I/we are happy to wait (sometimes a little longer) and simply enjoy the fact that we can and are allowed to linger there. This team consists of people who each have only two hands and two legs, and they give their best. I would suggest that guests just open their mouths and ask how things are going there instead of just complaining. However, if you want to be treated like a king, you should spend your money and go to places that suit you. It's only annoying if you're stingy or don't have enough. Anyone who is in danger of starving is fundamentally in the wrong place! There's a solution: put the sandwiches away from the front, it helps! To all dissatisfied people: stop complaining all the time, taking measures, and looking for someone to vent your frustration on! Just enjoy the wonderful opportunities we have here in this country! There are solutions for everything. And if you have something on your mind, people, it's your tone that makes the music. We went to the All You Can Eat Gamba yesterday for the third (or even fourth) time. The service is always very friendly and super fast. The prawns were also incredibly delicious! And they always came quickly when the plates emptied. For those who don't eat prawns, there's a reduced menu so no one has to stay home. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious! We were once again very impressed and will definitely be back again!

The farm is beautifully and lovingly designed, with a spacious play area for children and a covered courtyard with comfortable seating. The atmosphere is inviting, rustic, and particularly family-friendly – ​​a real highlight for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxed meal with children. The start of our visit, however, was less successful: After we were seated, it was initially unclear whether it would be self-service or table service. A waiter came by once, said a brief "Hello," but made no further comment or announcement like "I'll be right with you" or something similar – so we waited for about 15-20 minutes, unsure of what the procedure was. Only then did someone take our order. A friendlier welcome with brief instructions for new guests would be very helpful here and an easy way to avoid confusion. The food presented a mixed picture. I originally wanted to order a spit roast, but it wasn't ready at lunchtime – a shame, but also a positive sign of freshness and homemade cooking. For my starter, I chose "Rösti with Salmon," a dish from the "small appetite" category. Upon request, I was promised a small portion as a starter – but ultimately, the regular main course portion was served first. The dish was delicious and beautifully presented, but so substantial that I was actually already full afterward. For my main course, I chose schnitzel with fries. The schnitzel tasted okay, but nothing special – the gravy seemed like a ready-made product. For a restaurant whose menu consists of about 90% schnitzel dishes (it was even schnitzel day that day), this was disappointing. Perhaps it would also be worth considering offering higher-quality alternatives such as veal schnitzel or special house variations – that would definitely raise the bar. The monthly changing menu is a very positive point: Here you can see that the kitchen puts thought into it and creatively sets seasonal accents. My companion's spring salad was also fresh, lovingly prepared, and very tasty. This shows that quality and standards are fundamentally present in the kitchen. Another point of criticism: The online menu was outdated – my companion had been looking forward to a seafood platter, which was then no longer available in the restaurant, as it was only part of the Easter menu. Such misunderstandings can easily be avoided with a little care. There is also room for improvement with the drinks. The menu offered was mainly classic soft drinks and fruit spritzers. For such a lovingly designed, rustic ambiance, homemade non-alcoholic beverages – such as herbal lemonades, fruity iced tea, or infused water – would be a fitting and welcome addition. There were some minor weaknesses in the service: The salad that came with the schnitzel was initially forgotten and only brought after I asked for it – at least I was allowed to take it with me, which was handled kindly. The mayonnaise for the schnitzel was also forgotten. ⸻ 📝 Conclusion The Fitscheshof impresses with its beautiful, child-friendly farm atmosphere, the creative monthly menu, and some very successful dishes. We had chosen Fitscheshof to cycle to. It was definitely worth the trip! The asparagus soup was freshly made and very filling. Delicious! We had also ordered crispy garlic bread. We thought we would get a kind of baguette with herb butter but we got a wafer-thin crust with garlic oil and herbs on it. That was surprisingly tasty. Especially the aioli that was served with it made it even tastier. And this was also a full bowl. We were glad that we had only ordered 1 portion of this. The food, the cake and the ice creams that were served around us all looked very good and invited us to come back and try it out.

Hello, We arrived at the restaurant (garden) at 11:55 a.m. and were ignored for 20 minutes until one of us went to ask. The waitress said (in a rather unfriendly tone) that they couldn't bring us the menus until 12:30 p.m. So we waited!! We got our cards at around 12:30 p.m. We then ordered at 12:35 p.m.!! However, we weren't told that you could order a salt plate with your schnitzel dishes at the salad bar. We only discovered this after asking during our meal. The food was okay, but it didn't blow us away. To finish off, we wanted to order a cake! We had to go inside, choose the cake we wanted, and order it outside. We found that all a bit complicated, but whatever!! We also ordered more drinks, which didn't arrive until after we'd finished the cake. The waitress told us that the cake was still a bit cold because it was frozen! Otherwise, it was delicious. We had to wait again to pay because the card machine only accepts cards that can be inserted into the card slot, so they had to charge the other machine first. Overall, the food there is actually quite good, but we find it a bit disorganized. For example, one waitress walked around with a Coke for about 10 minutes because she couldn't find the person she was serving. The staff isn't particularly polite, and the outside area is a bit run down. We wouldn't come back just because of the wait time. We don't think the prices are reasonable.

We were at Fitsches Hof for breakfast on Shrove Monday and are still thrilled with it. A very large selection, everything you can imagine. It was constantly being refilled. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would be happy to come back!

We have reserved the breakfast buffet for 6 people. Including a four-year-old child. One person had to cancel at short notice due to illness. We had to pay €10.90 for the child...The person who didn't show up had to pay €22.90 in full!!! In my opinion, completely brazen and absolutely inappropriate!!! On a bike tour from Kempen to Wachtendonk we were recommended the Fitscheshof - looking for good food in the sun - so we spontaneously went there. Despite the mediocre sun and cold, there were a lot of guests there, which alone speaks for the good quality. Great team and the food was delicious even though I didn't manage to eat

Unfortunately, the sign in front of the restaurant is an indication of what to expect. It's not the food but the service and the way we treat the guests that even spoiled our appetite, so we ordered but didn't eat after we had several discussions from three employees (service, kitchen and operator). What makes good service? I worked in the catering industry myself and in everyday interactions with other people it is the tone that makes the music and the way you talk that either solves problems or spoils your appetite. It's a shame - would never come back. And I'm looking forward to the restaurant's comment, because as you can see, they don't skimp on insults here either 😂

The schnitzel tastes good, but nothing special. The starter salad is a bit different, more based on pickles like beans, beetroot... simple ambience - cold rather than warm inside in winter. The approach is confusing - dead ends and only for residents.

We were there with 3 couples on February 14th. eat here. The condition was very friendly, quick and accommodating. The food came together for everyone so that. We could also eat together. Schnitzel overkill 😄 We (family of 3) were guests here today. We each ordered a different type of schnitzel. Anyone who has something to complain about here has only themselves to blame. In terms of quantity, this is really unusual here. For around 20 € you get huge portions. There are almost 400 g of meat on the plate. That's almost impossible to do because there are also side dishes.😁 But the friendly waitresses are happy to pack up the leftovers for later. All in all, highly recommended, also as a place to go by bike.

Absolutely no way!!! Impossible service, first the schnitzel was delivered incorrectly, then raw mushrooms in the sauce and then being insulted loudly because you wanted to share the schnitzel!! Wow and this is 2025. Plus the salad is completely acidic.

We were there today for the schnitzel buffet. There were delicious starters, salads, different types of schnitzel, very tasty side dishes/vegetables and great dessert. Highly recommended
