If you like to eat huge portions, you should get your money's worth here. My "small" schnitzel was already the size of a plate, and my companion had two of them. However, my schnitzel was simply möff...it smelled so sour and was brown on the inside and after the first bite I actually didn't feel like eating there anymore. I got a new schnitzel without any problems. It was edible. The size of the schnitzel alone has to make you think because there are no such schnitzels. Everyone can decide for themselves whether they are shaped into meat or rolled out to the size of a pizza. But delicious is really something different. The fries were good, the sauce was a thick brown dip with a few peppercorns. But there seem to be a lot of people who like this kind of food and preparation. The drink prices are exciting, but the service was good and friendly. Good location for overeaters and families with children, as there is a nice playground there. The cakes also look good. Personally, I prefer good food to such feeding. My conclusion...you can do it, but you shouldn't expect too much

This rural restaurant mainly serves schnitzels in all variations. Prices start at around €17.90 and go up to around €21.90. The schnitzel comes with fries or fried potatoes + a salad buffet. The salad was great, the fried potatoes were OK and the schnitzel was a matter of taste. I prefer crispy schnitzels, here they are more "soft". A very large portion is served (3 schnitzels) which I personally couldn't finish. If you want an additional sauce you pay €4.90 on top. The service was very good and the atmosphere was very nice.

Cozy beer garden where children have plenty of space and toys to try out. Food and drinks very tasty and inexpensive. Service always friendly. Can only be recommended.

Great destination for young and old

On Sunday lunchtime at 12 p.m. you are turned away because food is not available until 12:30 p.m. because you are still busy with breakfast. That's not what it says on the website. It's also quite unfriendly. We won't be coming back.

We were there on schnitzel day. Lots of schnitzel options to choose from. Decent portions at a reasonable price. Delicious food and great, friendly service. We'll be back. If you order a normal schnitzel outside of Schnitzel Day, you should be very hungry. The schnitzel is enough for at least 2-3 people ;-) The breakfast buffet is highly recommended and one of the best in the area. Lots of choice. Very attentive and friendly service staff, nice location, the cake looked delicious...but we were there for lunch and... 1 hour waiting time for the food, larifari salad buffet with canned salads, the cheapest croquettes, schnitzels are huge but not everything is big. The mushroom pan...pork fillet, well fried, with mushrooms and onions, unfortunately without sauce. The dish takes on the taste of the cast iron pan (which has seen better days). For an excursion restaurant, the price is in the upper segment, just under € 130 for 4 people.

We were there for the breakfast buffet. From half past 11, orange juice was no longer refilled, as were some other dishes (salmon, pudding, etc.) and the milk for the muesli was kept warm the whole time. We had to pay one more person because we supposedly reserved one more adult instead of a small child, even though we ordered a high chair. In addition, the waitress was always visibly annoyed when you asked something. A plus point: a climbing frame was set up for the child. There were several mini cars (bobby cars, etc.) in the sandpit, but many of them were broken, either missing steering wheels or pedals or wheels. Too bad! Regarding the parking lot: there was enough space in itself, but we were parked from the back and the front (a third row was simply added) but the operator is not to blame for that, it is the drivers themselves.

If you like eating schnitzel, you should eat at Fitscheshof, the portions are enough for 2 days 😄👍always welcome to come or order for delivery

A huge compliment to the kitchen for the great delicacies you have! Whether schnitzels are almost as good as the ones my grandma made! Or the other dishes too! The cake is very tasty and so is the homemade bread! I also had breakfast with you and was very impressed with the selection and quality! The most you can criticize is the ambience, which is a bit outdated, or maybe a bit "old-fashioned" for some people, although that doesn't bother me in the least! We love eating there with our friends, unfortunately we are not from the area but when we visit we will of course come to you! It's just delicious and we've never quite managed to eat the portions of schnitzel... you then get them packed up and have something to take with you for work the next day... Yummy And unfortunately I can hardly ever get past the huge homemade cakes... A dream Either you enjoy your piece🙊 on site or you get it packed up to enjoy at home All in all, I can only recommend everyone to go there... even if you have children... They can use the play facilities outside... you can keep an eye on them and can just sit in peace We are already looking forward to our next visit with you😉

As so often before, we had dinner with you again yesterday. The food (schnitzel) was great as always and the portions filled even the hungriest man. If you don't get it open, there's a chance you'll take your food with you. Our friends from the Eifel always insist on stopping by when they visit 😊The breakfast buffet on the weekends is always great and when the weather is nice you can even enjoy it outside. Service quality inadequate! We ate indoors on site. We were there with 2 tables, otherwise only 3 other tables were occupied so not much going on. After we had all finished eating, the dishes weren't cleared away for almost AN HOUR, even though our plates were piling up and the waitress was at the table several times for drinks. Empty beer bottles were also not taken away for over an hour but were simply handed over new ones, and after a while these also visibly piled up. In addition, the service was inattentive when it came to refilling drinks; sometimes almost half of the people had visibly empty glasses. However, these were not addressed. You had to register yourself or order one of the next “rounds”. We also had to pack the food we wanted to take with us ourselves on cardboard plates with aluminum foil. Regardless, the food was very tasty and the service was friendly.

On a sunny Tuesday we took a break with the cycling group in the Fitscheshof at lunchtime. We found a shady spot at a long table, ideal for our group. At the Fitscheshof, the topic of schnitzel is very important; there are almost twenty different schnitzel dishes. If desired, the schnitzel is also available as turkey schnitzel with a small additional charge. This year was schnitzel day, all schnitzel dishes cost €12.90. The schnitzels are very large, but can also be ordered smaller; The cheap schnitzel prices are compensated for by quite high prices for the beer: €5.90 for a 0.5 liter wheat beer and €3.50 for a 0.3 liter pilsner are very ambitious. The service was quick and attentive – very good!

The staff was nice, but unfortunately sometimes overlooked us. I ordered a large schnitzel. Unfortunately there were two huge schnitzels. Way too much. An indication of the size would have been nice beforehand. A normal person can manage such portions. I found it very good that you were able to help yourself to the salad buffet several times.

A great restaurant in the countryside. We've been there several times. The food is excellent and the staff are very friendly. There is a wonderful playground outside for the little ones. The toilets are also clean and well maintained. We'd love to come back.

Beautiful farm cafe in a rural setting. Plus: very good food, delicious cakes and large pieces, nice interior, nice service, reasonable, good prices. Small drawback: the tables outside do not appear clean and well maintained. But that could be due to the strange plastic. Pro: open at lunchtime and weekly menu with daily special offers. Top!!! Schnitzel day on Tuesday, fish on offer on Friday! Every day there is a different dish, which is offered inexpensively. Beautifully designed outside. Large, separate children's playground available. Overall very quiet, rural and cozy.

Nice, secluded place. Worth driving to. Lovely cozy farm-style restaurant with very friendly service. Wide choice on the menu, but a lot of meat (I am vegetarian myself). But also plenty of choice for vegetarian. Chili sin carne was tasty and the salad bar had plenty of choice. Worth it!

Were there for the first time today and will definitely come back. The service was perfect and the cake (cherry and apple) was absolutely delicious. Coffee and cream are also great. Price totally ok. Next time we'll try something hearty. Everyone raves about the schnitzels.

My girlfriend and I are thrilled, the atmosphere is great, the service is super friendly and accommodating and the food is super good and really a huge amount, I think everyone will definitely be full even without a starter. Just love this place! My colleague wanted to eat in Germany during a trip to the NL. We found this restaurant a short drive across the border. The schnitzel was outstanding and far too much for me to finish! The fries were the best I’ve had this trip, crispy and double baked maybe? But the highlight was of course the waffle and ice cream. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect excursion into Germany! I’m definitely coming back next trip!! Great job Fitscheshof!

If you are looking for huge schnitzels, well prepared and at a fair price, you have to go here. I had three quarters packed up and ate it at home for two more days. I would love to come back with the children and grandchildren who can easily consume these quantities. You can eat inside and outside. The cake also looked very good. Unfortunately I was full.

I am always amazed by the quality of the food. The prices are very moderate. Even if the best eater can't manage the quantity, nothing is thrown away. The leftovers are wonderfully packaged up again to take away. The atmosphere feels like a holiday. Wonderful in the countryside. We will be back.

Leider waren wir enttäuscht diesesmal vom Schnitzeltag. Bei meinem Schnitzel war die Panade noch matschig und nicht cross gebraten. Zudem war ich der Meinung das Fleisch war zu oft durch den Steaker geschickt so das die Fleischfaser total zerfetzt wurde, damit es nicht zäh wird. Meine Champignonrahmsosse war von der Konsistenz so flüssig das ich dachte es wäre eine Suppe. Vielleicht war es ein Ausrutscher. Die Köchin sagte nur zu meiner Kritik, Da muss ich meinem Azubi mal den Marsch blauen. Schade! Wir werden auf jeden Fall noch mal einen Versuch starten. Nur nicht mehr am Dienstag am Schnitzeltag! Sondern zur normalen Zeit. Gut Glück allen anderen.

After an hour and a half the food finally arrived. If you asked, you could pick something up from the salad buffet - this would have been mentioned on the menu. It would have been nice if it had been different. Which is very well true. When it was served, they said there were more fries coming. But then nothing happened. When asked, we finally got a refill. But this was not friendly. The icing on the cake was a closed society that then loudly shifted to the outside world.

We ate in the restaurant today on Friday and can only say - thank you very much! Even though it was very busy, we only had to wait a short time and were served politely and courteously! Another visit will follow shortly with my nephew as there is a large playground! See you soon

Delicious schnitzels, friendly service, great ambience

We were there yesterday on Mother's Day with the whole family because the atmosphere was very nice and the food was delicious, but the service left a lot to be desired. Half of our group had to wait almost 40 minutes just for drinks, most of the waitresses seemed a bit overwhelmed and incompetent. You had to remind the waiters at least twice that you were still waiting for drinks, and that only after a lot of patience. At the end of our visit, all the children received a small toy after their portion of food and my niece asked a member of staff if her sister could also have a toy since she just couldn't eat because she has a disability. The answer was “no, that’s not possible”, not exactly customer-oriented and also a bit rude in my opinion. As I said, the food was very tasty and the children could play outside, but we wouldn't come back.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. But the absolute highlight was the schnitzel – it was simply great! Big, juicy and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning soon!

1.) Overall, it's remarkable that 2 small bowls of mayonnaise and ketchup were actually charged at 2.50 euros each. If you then add the really small bowl, you could say “bowl” of fries for 4.90 euros, we get to 9.90 euros (!!!) for a small “bowl” of fries. Absolutely disgraceful and just a rip off. By the way, Luvat mayonnaise costs around 3.50 euros at Rewe for 875ml. 2.) I don't understand why a glass of mineral water costs as much as an apple spritzer. Not to mention that 3.50 euros for a small drink is already very proud. 3.) Why a baked potato with mushrooms costs the same as a baked potato with salmon is also not entirely clear. Prices seem to be set arbitrarily here. A baked potato wasn't quite cooked through, the schnitzel was eaten better, nothing special and not worth the trip. By the way, vegetarians are also punished, as the Schupfnudel pan “Tuscany” (Schupfnudel with vegetables!) is actually on the menu at 19.90 euros. Pretty much, next to baked potatoes, it's the only dish for vegetarians and also pretty much the most expensive dish if you don't really want to eat the "vegetarian pancake" or a salad. Doesn't matter. One thing counts here: meat! Ambience not great either. Overall, it seems untidy and uninviting, especially the outside area, something between war, the Eastern Zone and a horror film. In the parking lot it is immediately shown who is in charge there, as there is a large sign with BOSS right at the first, prominent parking lot. AHA OK. Don't forget to salute! It's very loud and stuffy inside, cutting the air. No ventilation, unbearable heat. Entertainment hardly possible. Service was courteous and really very nice. All in all, way too expensive for the ambience. Not again. Where the good reviews come from can only be guessed at... However, the prices say one thing, it's purely about profit, nothing else. No attention to detail. But it certainly works quite well with the target group - pensioners/seniors - who don't notice that much anymore anyway.

I have had a breakfast buffet a few times with my children and grandchildren (16 people in total), it was very extensive and delicious. And the little ones can go to the playground in between. Ideal.
