The food was excellent, and I'd especially like to praise the service, which was brave despite the pouring rain and under the large umbrella in the outdoor seating area. I'd be happy to come back.

The food was good, the service was really bad. The waiter was incredibly grumpy and impatient. Then, after the food was gone, there was no drink and no waiter for 20 minutes. When I went inside to point out to the waiter that we were "out of luck," I got the response: "Why, it's raining." Unfortunately, the people didn't understand.

It was actually a really nice visit to the beer garden. However, as we left, the owner said he was grateful we were leaving. It was simply a disgrace. There were six of us adults, everyone ate and had several drinks. You don't really feel welcome.

Everything was perfect. Every wish was made possible without any problems. Everyone was super nice, attentive and professional. There were 8 of us and all the dishes were ready at the same time and served completely in a very short time. All dishes were very tasty and more than sufficient portions. Clearly a recommendation.

A cozy, rustic German restaurant with delicious freshly tapped beers on tap and delicious dishes that are complemented by seasonal offerings and are based on typical brewery dishes. From small dishes to large, hearty or lighter dishes, there is actually something for everyone: whether it's schnitzel, bacon pancakes, meat loaf with fried eggs and fried potatoes, tarte flambée or salad plates, the food is good and the menu is varied. My personal highlight, however, is the pork knuckle with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut, which I consider to be one of the two best I have eaten in Krefeld so far: the crust is crispy and crispy and the meat is not dry. Plus a delicious Düsseldorf mustard. Particularly noteworthy is what I think is the most delicious sauerkraut in Krefeld: not too sour with a fruity component. A really good addition to a well-made savory knuckle. Furthermore, the small daily menu, which changes weekly and is seasonally adapted, should be positively highlighted; Matching the season, Maimatjes, summer salads, St. Martin's goose, duck etc. In addition to the comfortable seating in the bar, there is a very nice beer garden in the courtyard for warm, sunny days and summer evenings. There is also a large hall where there are always larger concerts and events. For example, the Höhner were often guests for a concert or festivals such as Oktoberfest and similar larger events, often with live music and dancing.

Personally, I like the people who work there, but I don't like eating there that much. But as always, a matter of taste 😉

I was there to see “The Crows” (cabaret). Unfortunately, finding a parking space is a lot of luck. I circled around X times (like a bee 🐝) 😅 until I finally found a parking space. The hall in which the event took place was quite ok. Not as old school as I thought after reading the reviews. Nice service and cheap prices. Thank you for the lovely evening

The group dinner was arranged in a large room. The order was grilled elbow (not on the menu, but you can make a reservation for the group). The elbow is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The fragrance is fragrant. 4.5 points. The service staff is very attentive and quick.

Die Vorbereitung, die Deko, das Essen die Bewirtung war einzigartig. Unser Feier wird vielen in toller Erinnerung bleiben Es kam nur positives Feedback und alle waren sehr zufrieden und happy. Popped in spontaneously early on Saturday evening. Didn't have to wait for a table. The service was very quick and friendly. Shortly after I ordered my food, it was already on the table. The portion (large knuckle with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut) was quite large. Everything was great in terms of price/performance and I was very satisfied.

We came here spontaneously on a Saturday evening and had a lovely sit in the beer garden. There is a fairly large menu with typical German dishes. Everything went quickly, the service was a bit rough, the food was delicious.

Absolutely TOP! Gladly again at any time! Everything was great: service, food, ambience, just great!

We were at a wedding in the castle courtyard at the beginning of June. The ambience is great and the food and service were first class. The only point of criticism is the parking situation, but no one can do anything about it, so full marks. Next time we'll just come by bike 😉

We often eat in the Burghof and were always thrilled, the ladies are always friendly and quick and the food was always great. Today I ordered potato pancakes and was really disappointed, I won't order there again. The ones from the Christmas market are even better. They were extremely thin and baked anything but crispy, the taste was bland and boring. A pity

Wir hatten nicht reserviert und dennoch hat man eine Möglichkeit gefunden uns unterzubringen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen war lecker und in einer normalen Portion. Auf der Speisekarte findet man Gerichte, die man in diesem Ambiente erwartet. Apropos Ambiente, es ist ein tolles Gebäude und großteilig sehr stilecht eingerichtet. Allerdings wurden an einigen Stellen Bilder und Deko-Gegenstände dazu gehängt bzw. gestellt, die aussehen, als hätten sie gestern noch bei Poco gestanden. Passt leider gar nicht. Das Essen Essen war leider nur lauwarm, deshalb und wegen der Deko einen Punkt weniger.

Yesterday we were there again with several people and we were all very satisfied. I ordered the highly recommended goulash soup again, followed by the 1/2 broiler, also very tasty. The service is great, the price-performance ratio is good, the atmosphere is time-honored and stylish and, fortunately, not too loud. There is also delicious Altbier...we like being there.
