Finca & Bar Celona Bochum in Bochum

It's quite loud in the evenings, but that's the only downside. The food is delicious, and there's a creative and wide selection for everyone. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The brunch is also very extensive and has a great selection. We like coming here often, even though we're from Dortmund.

Great for brunch during the week

Unfortunately, the food was a total flop. What a shame. No one at our table finished their food. The pizza had a rock-hard, dry crust. Please put more effort into this. 🙏🏽 Good atmosphere, good service, good drinks, but the food was abysmal, unfortunately.

The food always tastes good, but I've noticed that the portions have been much smaller since the prices went up. I used to order a Schnitzel Crosby, and if it was a small schnitzel, I'd get another one because it was so small. Now they serve a small schnitzel with, quite frankly, very few fries. Compared to before, and compared to the restaurant in Essen, that's why we prefer to go to Essen, because €16 for a schnitzel with fries that doesn't fill you up is too much in my opinion. But on weekends, a young man working in Bochum really knows what he's talking about. He's so friendly and accommodating, and the service is really excellent. (Short blonde hair and a tattoo on his forearm)

I celebrated my 50th birthday on May 18th at Finca Bar Celona and was thrilled with the brunch and our lovely waiter who was in charge of us that day. Despite having to manage a large number of guests on his own, he was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were all thrilled. It would be great if he could get some feedback. :-)

Overall, our visit to Finca & Bar Celona in Bochum was pleasant – the ambiance is nice, the staff friendly, and most of the dishes were delicious. However, there were two things that somewhat dampened the impression: We weren't informed until about half an hour after ordering that one of our orders was unfortunately sold out. This could have been communicated much earlier. Furthermore, the dressing in my salad bowl was unfortunately far too overpowering – less would definitely have been more to better showcase the fresh ingredients. Still, a nice place that I would generally recommend – with some room for improvement in terms of service and the coordination of the dishes.

All in all, a medium-sized buffet with fair prices and fast service. However, there's a limited selection of cheese, jam, etc. The croissants aren't crispy and are more yeasty.

Unfortunately, I can only agree with the previous comment; we are also very disappointed today! Firstly, we were served the wrong food (the waiter apologized for this), but it really wasn't good. The salad was terrible, with some brown/wilted lettuce leaves. The cucumbers were also past their best. This simply shouldn't be served!!! The schnitzel and sauce covered the fries so thickly that they were completely soggy. You don't want to eat fries like that!!! For the price, the quality was really not good!! Addendum: Of course, we informed the staff on site. Unfortunately, the only response they got was "Oh, I'm sorry!" 🤷🏻‍♀️ That's it! Hence only these 3 stars.

The food is highly recommended and the staff is also very nice. However, since the restaurant is often very full, you sometimes have to wait a little longer for your food.

Was very loud. It was breakfast time on Sunday. A certain one at the buffet. Otherwise very nicely located. It always seems to be full and parking spaces become scarce in the morning.

Everything is right here. The ambience immediately puts you in the holiday mood and makes it wonderful to relax. Due to the many different options for choosing a place, you can always find a quiet place somewhere. The staff are all very friendly and contribute to the good atmosphere. The food is reasonably priced and always tastes very good. The drinks and homemade spritzers are also delicious. We always enjoy coming here and spending a little time.

Very nice, free-standing building with a beautiful, cozy interior and a great, large outdoor area with a pond and a small playground. All service staff are always extremely friendly and attentive. Extra requests are always implemented. The selection of drinks is large. The food is good and offers a wide selection, but there is a point deducted because the menu has been changed a little and a few vegan options have been removed or changed for the worse. Conclusion: recommended!

Because I had to wait for my car to be repaired, I filled my time with a late lunch around 4 p.m. It was one of the first days of summer this year and you could sit outside. The terrace is quite attractive and successful - despite the difficult location on a busy street. The employee (Chantal) came to the table promptly and greeted you very friendly. The drink we ordered came quickly, which I tend to think is great because you're often thirsty and are happy to be served quickly. Today I was deeply relaxed and in no rush, which is why it wasn't a bad thing that the bruschetta I ordered as a starter took a few minutes longer. They were very tasty and attractively served. Shortly afterwards, a male colleague took over the operation, who was just as attentive and friendly. I can only report good things. The gnocci arrabiata prepared shortly afterwards were a change. Some of them were slightly burnt in the clay bowl due to the over-baking, which didn't affect the taste. For my taste there should have been a bit of tomato sauce (for the fruity taste), which is what I expected from an Arabiatta. But it was ok with the vegetables too. All in all, a pleasant and entertaining stay with great staff.

A wonderful place for larger groups with children. Very nice atmosphere, I can only recommend it.

Conditional. The acoustics in the restaurant are too loud for a relaxed family breakfast. I would also set up the buffet differently. The entrance area by the stairs is extremely inconvenient for a buffet. Some of the food wasn't labeled and sometimes smaller people couldn't get to the bowls/plates at the back without dirtying their clothes at the front. The service was great, some restaurants can learn a lesson from that.

We sat outside on the patio at the back of the bar in the afternoon. Due to the surroundings you can see the parking lot, company premises and a green hill. Still pleasant and quiet. Staff is friendly. Cake and drinks were completely fine. I would go there again

What happened to the Finca & Bar Celona Bochum? – A disappointment across the board I've been to Finca & Bar Celona several times in the past - be it for breakfast, coffee or a relaxed dinner. I am even more shocked by what awaited us on our last visit. The tables were sticky, dirty and looked like they hadn't picked up a cloth in days. Such an unhygienic condition is absolutely unacceptable - especially in a restaurant that I have visited with a certain degree of trust. The food was also an imposition: burnt, tasted bland to disgusting and in some cases not even what was described on the menu. There is nothing left of the once decent quality - you almost get the impression that everything was prepared haphazardly and without care. To make matters worse, it was only after we had eaten that we were informed that card payments were not accepted. On a public holiday that meant we first had to look for an ATM in order to be able to pay - an embarrassing situation that could have been completely avoided with a simple tip at the beginning. I am extremely disappointed. What was once a place to linger is now an example of gastronomic disinterest and poor organization. As sorry as I am, that was definitely my last visit. I can't recommend anyone to eat or drink here at the moment - unless you want to have your day thoroughly ruined

Normalerweise schreibe ich nie Bewertungen, aber unsere Kellnerin war so freundlich und aufmerksam, dass ich jetzt mal eine schreiben muss. Der Laden war rappelvoll als wir da waren (Ostersonntag) und trotzdem ist sie ständig zu uns gekommen, um sich zu erkundigen, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Als das Essen ankam, schaute ich in die Karte, weil ich wissen wollte, ob die Mayo vegan ist. Der Kellnerin ist das sofort aufgefallen, sie ist zu uns gekommen und ist sofort mit der Mayo zurück zur Küche, nur um noch mal ganz sicher zu gehen. Und das wie gesagt, während der Laden komplett voll war. Bei so einem Service fühlt sich essen Gehen wieder richtig feierlich und wie Luxus an. Unsere Familie konnte heute bei Bar Celona Finca glücklich und ausgelassen Ostern feiern. Wenn ihr da seid und eine tätowierte Kellnerin hat, wisst ihr: Jackpot! :) Das Essen war köstlich, besonders hat mich die große vegane Auswahl gefreut! <3

We were there for breakfast. It was okay. But we would prefer a different location for breakfast. Still a nice place to meet nice people and have a good time with delicious coffee. And nice service.

Very tasty, especially the bruschetta. The spaghetti gamba wasn't that great, especially since it wasn't prawns but rather crabs and the sauce was far too runny. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious and the iced teas are also good.

Great chilled atmosphere, large parking lot, you can sit outside here, it's like a little vacation in between. The small brunch buffet has a great selection of dishes, the bread is delicious, everything is delicious, and fresh refills are always available. The service is super friendly and very nice. Excellent price-performance ratio. Simply everything is great. Nicely mixed crowd, from young to old.

I was at Finca & Bar Celona Bochum with a friend today and had a very unpleasant experience with a waiter. He came to our table but didn't speak to us directly, so we thought he wasn't there yet to take our order. While we were chatting in Turkish, deciding what to order, he suddenly became very loud and said things like, "Hello, do you need some time? Talk to me!" We were really surprised by his tone, as he hadn't spoken to us before. When we said we needed some more time, he continued in a condescending tone: "Yes, that's how you have to talk to me, okay?" This was an incredibly rude and unpleasant situation, so we left the restaurant immediately. This kind of behavior towards guests is unacceptable and ruined our entire visit. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.

I really enjoy coming here often because the food is always great and the atmosphere is pleasant. It's all the more disappointing that the same excuse has been coming up over the past few months: The outdoor heaters aren't working or are broken – just like the fireplace inside. I can't imagine this is just a coincidence. Especially on cooler days, it would be so much cozier if these things were kept in good condition. It's a real shame, because otherwise I always enjoy coming here!

It was my first time eating here and it was very pleasant as soon as we walked in. We were shown straight to our table and served almost straight away. Waitress was great and polite. The food was very, very tasty. We ordered a pizza and a burger. Very tasty and juicy. I can definitely recommend lemonade and the atmosphere is very, very nice and I can only recommend going there!

Pizza Tuna, unusual shape, not circular like everyone else's, son was very enthusiastic about the pizza, he was there for the second time and raved about his last visit. I had a schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce, fries and salad. I am very critical when it comes to schnitzel and can really recommend it, I was very enthusiastic. The ambience is very appealing.

Went here on a Sunday and were quickly assigned a table (2 people) without a reservation. The buffet had a large selection, so there was something for every taste. There was also a special stand with several products for children. The staff was very friendly and attentive and you never had to wait long for someone to be at the table. I can happily recommend it.

I go there every now and then to eat during my lunch break. The spinach lasagna was good and so was the ginger tea. The service is always very nice and polite. Good place for occasional meals

Super! You don't really need to say anything more. What is served here as a breakfast buffet is enormous. Even special requests that were not available (in our case a fried egg) were prepared immediately free of charge. There is also enough choice for children. Absolutely recommended! Even two months later you can only say, absolutely great!

The waitress was super nice and the service was really great. You felt very comfortable. The only thing I personally had to complain about was the food, or rather the vegan cheeseburger. When I ordered this as a side dish with fries and aioli, the waitress very kindly pointed out to me that the aioli is not vegan, which I think is really great. What bothered me about the burger itself was that, according to me and my friend's, it smelled a bit very pungent. The patty was made from kale and hemp. A very cool idea actually, but perhaps it should have been mentioned in the dish on the menu. The patty has already fallen apart on the plate. And when I cut the burger, it completely fell apart. In terms of taste, I didn't find it that tasty either, which could have been due to the smell. The cheese on the burger was somehow a bit strange, which is usually the case with vegan cheeses. But the fries tasted very good. Otherwise, I was extremely satisfied with the ambience and the service. My only tip would be to write the kale and hemp patty on the menu so that you don't end up disappointed.

We were there on Friday evening. Despite having plenty of parking spaces, it was difficult to get one. The interior is totally cozy, you feel really comfortable. The food, we ordered tapas, was super delicious!!! Price/performance completely ok. Go there, IT'S WORTH IT! 😃👍

It almost doesn't get any better. The young man at table service was Mr. 120%. It couldn't be friendlier or more competent. The coffee and tea taste great! Unfortunately it is basically 3 floors. So the paths to the buffet from above are not so pleasant. The staff is on point and very friendly. We were there for breakfast and two people each had a warm drink. The Bzffet offers a lot of choice: bread, sausage, cheese, fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, rolls, croissants... and a small corner for the kids. We were full and satisfied.

The staff was always friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented, as we all know, your eyes eat with you :). I think the children's corner is very good because parents can relax and enjoy a coffee while the children can play next door. I think it's great!

We were there today. First of all I have to say the service is very good, everyone was very nice, courteous and quick. The food was good but the portions were unfortunately far too small for the price. My husband ate 3 forkfuls of fries and then they were empty I hope this was just an accident. But even for me as a woman the portion was really very small so unfortunately I have to cook it at home. If you like it a little quieter, you're definitely at the wrong address on the weekend. Overall it was ok
