We went to Filetto with five friends, naturally with a reservation. It was a very pleasant evening, and everything was to our complete satisfaction. Even though the restaurant was very busy, they repeatedly asked if we had any requests – fantastic service! We would love to come back! The two Sauerlanders and their friends, thank you.

Asked if we could get a table earlier tonight. Was told no, even with a somewhat empty restaurant. I asked in German if it was all just reservations, and got lectured on how seating works at a restaurant, how other people had reservations, how many tables were for this or that, etc. She could have just said "Yes, we have reservations" One of the rudest experiences I've had in Germany, in many years of living here. Kind of amazing.

Saturday at 20:45 no service because they are closing as there is no more quest! We could have been one! Really dissapp ointing..sometimes there is a reason that the kitchen closes at 21:00...but this? This was a joke!

While visiting Görlitz ended up by accident at this restaurant, and have to say the food is very good 👌 ended up going twice. So I can highly recommend to go.

We visit this restaurant almost once a month with my grandma – and every time it's a real highlight. The fillet steak, in particular, is prepared absolutely perfectly: tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The service is also always impressive with its friendliness and attentiveness, making you feel immediately welcome. It's simply wonderful to have a place where you can enjoy food together in a family atmosphere. This restaurant is firmly one of our favorites – highly recommended!

Both of the waitresses were nice. The location is beautiful, especially the backyard is charming and could be in France. The food selection is very limited in terms of steaks/cuts and side dishes, but what's available is decent and delicious.

The ambiance was beautiful...we wanted to reserve a table...after the manager's unfriendly and rude approval of our reservation, we decided to cancel it shortly afterwards. I can't comment on the food.

I arrived and we were greeted warmly. I'm extremely satisfied with the food; it couldn't have been better. The waitress was also very friendly and very quick. I had a fantastic evening, and the ambiance is also unique. The umbrellas create a very pleasant atmosphere where you feel at home. I also think the price is quite reasonable for the service and the food. Thank you very much.

The ambiance is nice. Food-wise, well, the rump steak was good, nothing to complain about. But for this price, the plate could have been more filling. Everything looks very lost on the plate 🤔 The rösti were also all very uniform in appearance—too smooth and round.

The food was okay, but the service was a complete disaster and some of the worst I've ever experienced. Extremely unfriendly and not at all customer-oriented. Despite having a reservation, 10 of us had to squeeze into a table designed for a maximum of 8 people. We weren't allowed to add another table, even though the rest of the room was completely empty. Orders were taken reluctantly and with snarky replies. Card payments were also too much to ask for. Overall, a 6 for the service.

Food very good. Lots of starters. Ambience good in the "adjoining room" in front of the toilets, not the best place, but ok. Toilets clean but carelessly treated. Ceiling poorly painted and baseboards slightly dirty. But not wild. Would come again. Friendly service.

The staff is reluctant to accept card payments and commented that the amount was too small for a meal. In my opinion, the sound and operation were inappropriate. As a Görlitzer, I don't recommend this restaurant - there is better service elsewhere.

Very cozy restaurant with delicious food, fair prices and friendly staff.

We visited the restaurant with several family members shortly before Christmas. We cannot understand or confirm the praise for the inn in the reviews. The welcome was very cool (from the main waiter), the interaction with the guests was too blunt, the other service staff did their job quite well, the food was mediocre. We didn't feel any of the Italian flair or ambience, let alone the warmth of the country. It started with the tablecloths and ended with the drinks. We are used to receiving a wine accompaniment in a restaurant with an Italian background, but we thought wrong. The young, untrained waitress brought the drinks to the table with a smile, but when questions were asked it was over and advice was not possible. The soup was served very staggeringly, so that when it was put down the edge of the plate was completely flooded. We only got the menagerie when we asked, the salt and pepper mills in the basket provided were empty and the containers were completely oily on the outside. Super. So we had to wait. Bruschetta completely tasteless, with tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms we looked for the porcini mushrooms, sometimes found some rudiments, garlic soup was at room temperature. After eating the appetizer and returning the dishes, I was asked if I no longer needed the fork because I had put it on the used plate. When I asked for new cutlery, I received an astonished and disbelieving look. And no, I don't put used cutlery on the table for the next course. For a well-kept guesthouse with high standards, this is a matter that should not happen. Two family members were also very cold in the corner of the room. This led to an accelerated intake of food and a quick departure from the establishment. We have different ideas about the warmth and coziness in an Italian restaurant. Conclusion: The two female service staff were really friendly, the rest was a sentence with an “X”. If this is supposed to be one of the best restaurants in Görlitz (according to guests' opinions), then good night, dear Neißestadt.

This is definitely not the Filetto it once was. Totally snotty and snippy service. Completely over-seasoned food. If you question the quality of the food, you will be insulted and given some stupid pseudo-excuses. Food is served across the table like in a fast food restaurant in the last village pub. Worst dumps!

It wasn't a nice wedding day, we were "greeted" at 5:30 p.m. with: a stern questioning look (without good evening or even a warm welcome) and repeated twice that the table was only available until 7:00 p.m., a very unfriendly reception tone. We didn't feel welcome or comfortable, we wolfed down our food completely stressed and were out again after less than 35 minutes. The stress conveyed was completely unnecessary...food was pretty mediocre. Prices: reasonable.

Den negativen Kritiken bzgl. des Servicepersonals kann ich nicht zustimmen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und zeitlich angemessen bedient. Das Essen Pasta/Lachs und Pasta/Steinpilz war am 26.09. tadellos und preislich angemessen. Wo findet man heute noch echte Blumen auf dem Tisch? Das Ambiente innen ist sehr angenehm, was man von außen zunächst nicht vermutet.

Wollten zu Abend essen. Wurden darauf hingewiesen: „In 1 1/2 Stunden ist Schluss hier“!Wäre für uns locker zu schaffen gewesen…, allerdings hatte man den Eindruck, egal wo, man steht überall im Weg und die scheinbare Chefin, Kraft ihrer Wassersuppe, war so was von genervt… Anschließend wies sie uns in belehrendem Ton darauf hin, dass wir beim zugewiesenen Tisch nicht stehen, sondern wieder in den Vorraum gehen sollen, bis uns die Mitarbeiterin nach dem Herrichten holt. Das müssen wir uns nicht geben, …schon am Anfang so negativ, was kommt denn noch…? Man sagt, der Ton macht die Musik, hier empfanden wir nicht, willkommen zu sein und suchten das Weite und verlebten woanders schließlich noch einen anregenden Abend.

For me, Filetto is the best restaurant in Görlitz! The meat quality is always top and the shrimp are super tasty. The herbal sour cream rounds the whole thing off perfectly. The service is friendly and attentive, and the beautiful terrace invites you to linger on warm evenings. You simply feel comfortable here and enjoy it every time!

Das Filetto ist für mich das beste Restaurant in Görlitz! Die Fleischqualität ist immer top, und die Garnelen sind super lecker. Der Kräuterschmand rundet das Ganze perfekt ab. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam, und die schöne Terrasse lädt an warmen Abenden zum Verweilen ein. Hier fühlt man sich einfach wohl und genießt jedes Mal aufs Neue!

Visit from September 09, 2024, restaurant empty except for two tables, the unfriendly service wanted to assign us a mini table in one passage (without a reservation) because there was nothing left available. An hour later the restaurant was still empty. Never again!

Mit Freundlichkeit und Service volle Punktzahl erreicht, das Essen und Preise auch noch punkten, ist ein Plus.Als Berliner ist man service und Freundlichkeit, ohne Druck, beinahe ungewohnt. Telefonisch auf der Terrasse reserviert, das Essen, war super, 4 unterschiedliche Gerichte, von Pasta, über Steak ,Pute und Fisch, alles zeitgleich serviert und auf sen Punkt. Niemand musste warten und super zuvorkommend auch in der Bewirtung der älteren Begleitung. Rollator und etwas langsameren ordern, war kein Problem und der Service war durchweg sehr angenehm. Gern komme ich, kommen wir wieder.Danke für den schönen Abend bei Ihnen.

Es war super! Wir hatten ca. 2 Stunden vorher angerufen und gefragt ob um 19 Uhr noch ein Tisch frei wäre und wenn ja das wir diesen reservieren wollen würden, darauf wurde uns freundlich gesagt das bestimmt noch ein Tisch frei ist. Das Restaurant ist sehr einfach zu finden. Es gibt ein Parkplatz in ca. 10 min Entfernung. Als wir kamen wurde uns sofort gezeigt wo unser Tisch ist, und uns wurden auch gleich Karten gebracht, das Restaurant ist sehr einladend gestaltet, und alle Kellner sind sehr schnell und aufmerksam gewesen. Das Essen kam nach einer normal schnellen Zeit und war echt lecker. Wir hatten ca. einen Preis von 100€ überschlagen und mussten aber nur 80€ zahlen. Fazit :Super kommen defenitiv wieder

The Filetto is always worth a visit. The food is simply very, very tasty, and I can only warmly recommend the carpaccio and the roast beef salad. What I sometimes wish was that there were two or three non-alcoholic cocktails.

Unfortunately, for what is supposed to be the best Italian restaurant in Görlitz, it did not meet our expectations. The carpaccio was poorly seasoned (hardly any salt or pepper, a bunch of garlic in just one spot) and the rocket was partly mushy and bad. However, the grill plate as the main course was very good, the meat was very tender and medium. The tagliatelle with gorgonzola and rocket were quite ok. The young staff really tried hard, but unfortunately they were far too friendly and constantly asked if everything was OK. While one person was eating, their partner's plate was already being cleared away, even though their mouths hadn't even been empty yet. The atmosphere in the courtyard with the umbrellas was nice. For the price you expect a little more. It's a shame that we couldn't rate it better today.

Unfortunately disappointed with the food. It wasn't a great visual experience and then the potatoes and vegetables were cold. Rosemary potatoes should not only look like this, but also taste like it. That certain something was missing for an Italian feeling. We will not visit the restaurant again and will not recommend it.

Sweet yet quaint restaurant in the middle of the city. We didn't have a reservation and yet the staff was so kind and was able to provide us with a place. The food was very tasty, as was the conversation. We recommend.

Fine restaurant with a mix of Italian cuisine and steakhouse. We stuck with Italian and were very satisfied. Reservations are strongly recommended during peak times. By the way: If you think you hear voices behind you even though there is only a wall there, then you don't have to immediately doubt yourself. The Filetto is housed in old walls and apparently there are certain "whispering arch effects" here that make you hear voices from a completely different direction than they actually come from. This left us quite confused at first.

There were 16 people. Food was very tasty. Steak was on point. Compliments to the chefs. Service was very nice and quick. The only drawback----The boss wasn't very polite. I was immediately shouted at because we had forgotten to deregister two people. At first we lost interest.

We had my father-in-law's birthday dinner there with several people. The people were very friendly, the prices were great, the food was very tasty, we had various starters, for the main course I had a steak, which was beautifully prepared, and we also had dessert. As former Görlitzers, we had dinner at Filetto. A very nice restaurant, great ambience, very tasty food with a great price-performance ratio. A very nice service rounded off the great evening. We would love to come back and can really recommend it.

The reservation was made just one day in advance, and we were warmly welcomed and accompanied through the evening by the friendly and very attentive team. A well-assorted menu left neither drink nor food wishes unfulfilled. So you can enjoy the starters in peace and then move on to dessert after the main course, always under the watchful eye of the team and yet enjoying it unobtrusively. Price-performance is amazing for today's costs, so the tip is often more generous! Well deserved! The only drawback in the ambience: There wasn't really an Italian feeling and just towards the toilet there were some cobwebs, although they were common in the basement.

Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir waren im neuen Jahr zum Abendessen. Sehr gemütliche angenehme Atmosphäre, freundliche, flotte, fachliche und unaufdringliche Bedienung. Das Essen war optisch toll angerichtet und hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich und hält für jeden Geschmack etwas passendes bereit. Die Preise sind trotz der wieder höheren Mwst in Ordnung.

Lange Wartezeit auf Bedienung, obwohl nur 2 Tische belegt. Essen war naj, in Ordnung Eine Bedienung hat mich eine neue Erfahrung machen lassen... Eine leckere Vorspeise gehabt. Teller und benutze Gabel stand zum abräumen bereit. Eine junge Dame holte den Teller und fragte mich, ob ich zur Hauptspeise eine neue Gabel haben möchte....? Hah?? Brauchte erstmal paar Sekunden um das zu sortieren. Dann sagte ich selbstverständlich. Im weggehen sagte diese Kellnerin, (will sie mal so bezeichnen) daß ist ja nicht grad Umweltfreundlich!!!! Danach war ein neues Bier fast unmoglich zu bekommen. Böser Gast, muss bestraft werden! War erstmal perplex. So etwas in einer Gaststätte hatte ich noch nie gehört. Mir fehlten die Worte! Kenne sls Görlitzer einige Kellnerrinnen und Kellner. Auch ehemalige Alle haben nur mit Unverständnis und Kopfschütteln reagiert. Es gab auch welche, die wollten mir das nicht glauben. PS. Die hatten alle den Beruf gelernt! Also Leute, bringt euch genug Gabeln mit, wenn ihr dort essen geht...

Tolles Essen das Steak ist verdammt lecker Ein großes Lob an die Küche

Wir hatten am 7.12. unser Weihnachtsfeier da gehabt und waren super zufrieden. Ich hatte ein Steak medium bestellt und es war voll auf den Punkt und super lecker.

Wir erhielten ohne Reservierung einen Tisch für 2 Personen, was sicherlich nicht immer klappen wird. Freundliche Bedienung, prima Auswahl und köstliches Essen in schönem Ambiente - da ist es nicht verwunderlich, dass das Fileto auch Wochentags Abends ausgebucht ist. Wir wünschen dem Inhaber und Team, dass dieses Niveau erhalten bleibt und der Spaß an Gastronomie nicht verloren geht.

Zum ersten Mal in Görlitz, zum ersten Mal im Restaurant Filetto… einfach schön! Sehr gutes Essen, sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung! Gerne immer wieder!

Wir waren 5 Tage in Görlitz auf Kurzurlaub und haben dieses tolle Restaurant durch Zufall entdeckt. Beim ersten Besuch waren wir total begeistert, sodass wir (gestern) gleich ein zweites Mal eingekehrt sind. Freunde von sehr guter Küche, explizit von Steak und mediterraner Küche, kommen absolut auf ihre Kosten. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm. Herausragend ist auch die Dienstleistung des Service. Egal ob man von der Chefin bedient wird oder von der charmanten jungen Frau, mit ihrer natürlichen und ehrlichen Freundlichkeit und einem sehr netten Lächeln. Man fühlt sich rundum wohl. Dieses Restaurant wird auf jeden Fall beim nächsten Görlitz-Besuch wieder besucht.

Einfach top, eine perfekte Empfehlung, welche ich sehr, sehr gerne weitergebe. Super nette Bedienung, mit dem Herz auf der Zunge ( die zwei die schlecht zu Fuß waren 😉), ein perfektes Essen und sehr faire Preise. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Dankeschön für die angenehme Zeit!

Tolle Steaks - für den Preis wirklich super. Ich komme ursprünglich aus NRW und wir haben dort mehrere Steak Restaurants etc.. Im Vergleich ist das Filetto ganz weit vorne. Das muss sich echt nicht verstecken. Ich Reise beruflich viel und weit - das muss sich nicht hinter einem Steak aus Austin TX oder NY oder Sydney oder Shanghai / Singapur verstecken. Klasse! Komme wieder!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend bei sehr guter Bewirtung und noch besseren essen.

Sehr schöne Lokalität, der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt, jedoch war bei der Vorspeise das Brot schon stärker verbrannt und bei meiner Freundin wurde ein Tiramisu serviert, was aus Sahne statt Mascarponecreme bestand. Leider ist die Damentoilette verwinkelt/klein und mit Spinnweben übersät.Das sind Verbesserungsvorschläge-Wir kommen gern wieder.

Sehr schönes Restaurant, dass Ambiente stimmt! Unsere junge Bedienung war Weltklasse, immer ein Spruch auf der Zunge und flink. Solche junge Leute braucht die Gastronomie! Das Essen war im großen und ganzen gut bürgerlich. Ich hätte mir zwar bei den Scampi 🦐 in Knoblauchöl etwas mehr Baguette gewünscht, aber gut. Was ich nicht so gut fand, war die Pfeffersoße bei meinem 300 gr. Rumpsteak. Diese bestand nur aus gemahlenem Pfeffer auf dem Steak und etwas Bratensaft! Hier wäre eine echte Pfeffersoße mit Grünen Pfeffer und vorher abgelöscht mit Weinbrand, angesetzt mit Zwiebel, wohl angebrachter! Ich wollte mein Steak eigentlich „ Englisch „ serviert wurde es „ Medium „ hab es trotzdem verspeist. Das Steak 🥩 war trotz der falschen Garstufe gut! Die Beilage bestand aus 2 Röstitaler. Diese waren gut, hätten aber gerne auch 2 Röstitaler mehr sein dürfen! Der dazugehörige Salat war in Ordnung!

Gutes Essen hat uns 10 Gästen gut bis sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Mädchen der Bedienung waren toll. Unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen.

So versteckt, dass man schon vorbei ist, wenn man es wahrnimmt. Filetto, der kulinarische Geheimtipp in der Görlitzer Altstadt. Tolles Essen, moderate Preise, schließt aber konsequent um 21 Uhr. Und Reservierung sehr empfehlenswert. Bei Sonne einen Tisch im Hof bestellen, einem der schönsten Plätze der Stadt. Meine Favoriten Schweinelende auf Pasta mit Kapernsauce oder Salat mit Knoblauchgarnelen!

Das Filetto ist ein schönes Restaurant, in der sehenswerten Görlitzer Altstadt gelegen. Die Speisekarte bietet eine gute Auswahl unterschiedlicher Richtungen und das von mir gewählte Schweinefilet im Blätterteig war hervorragend. Auch meine Mitreisenden lobten ihre Gerichte sehr. Die Bedienung ist aufgeschlossen und nett. Die Lage und das rustikale Ambiente sind passend.

Immer wieder gerne und sehr zu empfehlen!! Sehr schönes Lokal mit Terrasse, nette, freundliche Bedienung, die versucht alles möglich zu machen, Essen hervorragend, Preise seit langem kaum gestiegen.

Es ist einfach unglaublich, wie gut ein Rinderfilet und ein Rumpsteak auf der Zunge zergehen können. Wir waren das dritte mal hier, und waren drei mal völlig begeistert. 👌♥️

Wir waren schon länger nicht mehr hier gewesen. Immer war etwas. Nun haben wir die Einladung von Freunden bekommen und waren tatsächlich mal wieder da. Wir haben im schnucklichen Garten gesessen.Das Ambiente ist dort richtig gut. Nur die Sitzmöbel waren für den Tisch zu niedrig und unbequem. Dafür war das Essen lecker. Wir hatten Risotto. Mal mit Steinpilzen, mal mit roter Beete. Beides ausreichend und gut. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
