A restaurant visit in Nordhausen that's truly worth it! Located in the old town, right by the city wall. The interior and exterior areas are stylish, well-maintained, and modern. The menu is varied and even offers seasonal dishes. Not only the beautiful view is impressive, but also the friendly, fast, very attentive, unobtrusive, yet witty service, and of course, the fantastic food. The food is simply top-notch! Well-seasoned, and you get a generous portion. We had SchniPoPi, beetroot fritters, three different burgers, and the pasta with chanterelle mushrooms. Our cocktails were well-mixed...alcohol was definitely present. The six of us paid €185 for six main courses and ten drinks. We really had a great evening thanks to the great service and delicious food. Thank you so much! We'll be back when we reopen.

We had a very pleasant evening at Felix today. We received a friendly welcome at the entrance and were assigned a comfortable table. The service was friendly and attentive. We didn't have to wait long for our food. It was delicious, hot, fresh, and plentiful. If we come back to Nordhausen, we'll definitely stop by again. Best, Andreas + Birgit

Great food, great service... of course everything has its price.

Generally speaking, it's a very nice restaurant where we always enjoy going, eating, and drinking. Unfortunately, this afternoon, we were greeted extremely unfriendly by the waiter, so we left immediately. It's a shame.

The "Felix Nordhausen" is a restaurant with a wow factor and very friendly staff. Here, you can relax and unwind with a fantastic view, watching the traffic and the scenery pass by. While the food and drinks may be a bit more expensive, the magnificent view definitely makes up for it.

Felix in Nordhausen is an absolutely first-class restaurant! The burgers are beyond amazing—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. What's especially great is that special requests are taken seriously and accommodated without any problems. The service is friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is inviting. An all-around excellent restaurant that I would recommend anytime!

Great restaurant, superb service, absolutely delicious food, and a wonderful view. I particularly enjoyed the goat cheese starter, but the main course, the pulled pork burger, was also delicious.

We went to Felix for the first time in a long time because back then (10 years ago) it was a really great restaurant/cocktail bar. We were disappointed with the menu, however, as you had to buy extras at quite a lot on top of an already expensive dish like rump steak for €28. My burger was pretty good, just a bit sweet at the end because of the bacon jam. My friend had the pulled pork burger, which was tasty but totally dry instead of juicy like it should have been. When the table was cleared away, which only happened 20 minutes after we had finished our meal, we weren't even asked if everything was OK, let alone if we had any other requests. We would have liked another drink and dessert. It wasn't until 27 minutes later, after we had made ourselves known to the three waiters several times, that someone finally stopped. As we had lost all appetite for anything, we paid. We were ignored for 47 minutes, even though we were seated right in the aisle with the waiters and had raised our hand several times. It wasn't busy, and the interior was almost empty. We probably won't be back. Unfortunately, the wrong waitress got the drop on our frustration, but criticism was necessary.

The restaurant is lovely, the service is friendly, and the food is delicious. BUT I have a gluten intolerance, and there was no allergen menu. I specifically asked, and no, they don't have one. I was then recommended "maybe the vegan scrambled eggs?" I don't think that's acceptable.

And another year has passed. It goes by so quickly, and then they're back again. 😅 Nice and absolutely delicious, like every year. However, hadn't the waiter been with this team long? 🤔 He generally did a good job, but he had his time with the technology. It wasn't a big deal; he even thawed out a bit at the end. 🤭 A final chat with presumably the boss (restaurant manager Karo?) was also very nice. Our colleague Yugo is still there, but unfortunately he's on vacation. We also learned that we'll have to temporarily move to a different location next year. I don't want to get ahead of the operator here. We look forward to seeing you next year at the alternative address and then back in Nordhausen in 2027. Pleasantly surprised even though only the lunch menu was available, but I suppose that is fine for Monday lunchtime. My dad had the couscous bowl with prawns and I had the beetroot patties with rice and vegetables. We also had the soup as a starter. We were very happy overall, service was good, and food was very enjoyable. Was a bit expensive however

Nice location with good food and friendly, attentive service. A great place to sit down with friends, even a little later. One of the few options in Nordhausen that still serves food in the evening. Socken and Alt Nordhausen close their kitchens before 9:00 PM.

We booked a table for 12:00 PM for our birthday. At 1:45 PM, we paid for our drinks and left. The staff showed no interest in us. We had to order drinks at the bar ourselves. Very poor service today, something we're not used to from Felix. We're very disappointed!

Now that's what I call an extraordinary restaurant! Lots of pictures on the wall – it makes you feel like you're on vacation. The food is delicious, the steak was fantastic. Nothing is left to be desired here; the service is fast and good, and the ambiance is simply lovely.

There is definitely still room for improvement here. Unfortunately, the service took a little longer before we could even order something to drink. 3 out of 5 dishes were cold (not even lukewarm) Unfortunately, we only got more drinks upon request. What a shame

Very friendly service, food was excellent, extra food was prepared on request outside of the menu. Really great service! We would be happy to come back to Felix. And we spontaneously found space. What's a shame is that no local beer was offered.

So the 2 stars are only for the service. As far as the food is concerned, not one star. Food didn't come to the table really hot. The degree of doneness of the meat, be it burgers or rump steak, was a disaster. If I can't even manage to add fried onions to the rump steak (€27), which you make yourself, but rather make from the subway, then the fun stops. In any case, the price-performance ratio is not right here.

Unfortunately the food was below average for the price. Yugo was super friendly, while the other waiter was in a bad mood. The ambience was nice.

Very nice staff and excellent food. The seasonal and fortunately also vegan pumpkin ginger soup and the beetroot patty with vegetables and basmati rice were very tasty. There was also a dry house wine, which was also delicious. Afterwards a few good drinks. All in all a very nice shop! For my taste there could be a bit more vegan dishes on the menu but that's the only negative point.

When it came to operation and service, nothing was left to be desired. Unfortunately we found the prices of the dishes a bit exaggerated. After all, we are in Nordhausen and not a big tourist town. We were there as a group of 8 people and only one was satisfied with her food. Unfortunately, the burgers were fried to death and the stalk from the tomato should also be removed. These are just small examples.

Everything fits here: good location, friendly staff, delicious and varied offerings, cozy atmosphere... we felt completely at home 👍

I've eaten here quite often and have never had anything to complain about. Whenever I ordered a medium rump steak, the doneness was always perfect. The vegetables are always on point and always nice and firm to the bite. My friend had the Big Mama Burger today - the taste was good, but unfortunately the meat was extremely dry, a shame! However, today was the first time something like that happened! The service is always very friendly and the atmosphere invites you to linger. The cocktails are always very tasty too. I always enjoy coming here.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. We had to let the food go back because it was so bad and were served the same food again on a different plate (the meat was started in several places so we recognized it). Of course it was just as tough and bloody as before. We explained again that meat is so tough that you can't chew it. People smiled awkwardly and said sorry. For a dish that costs €40, I expect it to be of excellent quality and that complaints are handled better. Despite everything we had to pay the full price.

Very nice restaurant in the middle of the old town of Nordhausen. Because it has several floors, you can always find a nice place to eat and relax. Very friendly service and great food. There is something for everyone, with and without meat, vegan could be something more.

We were there today, were totally dissatisfied, the prices were totally overpriced, for a burger €14.90 without fries we had to pay extra, and we don't even want to talk about the drinks. You couldn't decide freely what you wanted to eat, there were only 3 menus left, the alternative was the overpriced burger. Such a disgrace, you really have to ask for the money back...

We were thrilled and very satisfied. Toilets on the upper floor, therefore unfortunately difficult to reach for people with walking difficulties.

We were here on Christmas Day. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. The wine recommendation was top. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas and has its own unique charm thanks to its half-timbering and overall design. 😊👍🏻 Christmas lights music was also playing. We each chose the goose breast from the Christmas menu (see photos), once with apple red cabbage, once with Brussels sprouts, each with Thuringian dumplings and sauce. Since we like lots of sauce, we asked if we could get some more sauce. Our wish was immediately fulfilled. Overall, we enjoyed everything very much. Unfortunately, the goose breast including the skin was a bit too tough and could have been simmered a little longer (perhaps the meat didn't want to become soft). That was a real shame... Otherwise, absolutely nothing to complain about. We'd love to come back.

Pasta with salmon was delicious. My friend had the December offer tuna. He was totally disappointed. I had already warned him that most chefs have difficulty preparing this fish correctly. The fish was so over-fried that it tasted completely dry. Everything else on his plate was fine The Felix is ​​still recommended.

Nice restaurant with reasonably affordable prices and great dishes. There are 2 options explicitly designated as vegan. I ordered the Veggyburger as a vegan version. Unfortunately, no one came up with the idea of ​​putting any kind of sauce (just ketchup as far as I'm concerned). Not even with the fries. Unfortunately, the friendly but far too busy staff were too busy to notice me. Otherwise it was still tasty so far.

Es war ein super schöner Abend,die Servicekraft war sehr aufmerksam und super witzig und freundlich, das Essen war mega lecker und die Cocktails auch,vorallem der Nordhäuser Gin ist sehr zu empfehlen. Absolute Empfehlung.

Hervorragend! Ganz großes Kino! Das Essen, das Ambiente und der Service suchen seines Gleichen. Das Essen ist einfach nur wunderbar. Alles ist wirklich frisch und vor Ort zubereitet. Die Zutaten sind bewusst gewählt und sehr gut verarbeitet. Hier merkt und schmeckt man das sich das Küchenteam viel Gedanken macht, sein Handwerk versteht und Spaß an der Arbeit hat. Die Salate haben verschiedenen Salatsorten, die zudem in eine mundgerechte Größe geschnitten sind. Es gibt kleine geschmacksintensive Tomaten, Kresse, usw. und es ist alles mit einer köstlichen Vinaigrette überzogen ohne das der Teller in Soße schwimmt. Man schmeckt das hier nicht das billigste Öl & der billigste Essig benutzt worden. Man schmeckt das Senf verwendet wurde und auch Salz und Pfeffer. Das ist leider überhaupt nicht selbstverständlich. Der Ziegenkäse ist wunderbar cremig und obwohl er komplett mit Sesam bedeckt ist schmeckt man ihn ohne das der Sasam oder der Käse untergeht oder zu viel werden. Also auch für Personen die keinen Ziegenkäse mögen, kann ich diese Vorspeise wärmstens empfehlen. Die Mangosoße passt perfekt dazu und rundet das Gericht gut ab. Sprich: es ist sein Geld wert. Das Hähnchenschnitzel in Knusperpanade ist schön kross und dennoch saftig. Die Rotweinjus ist perfekt dazu. Wer hier nach Ketchup fragt, dem ist nicht mehr zu helfen. 😉 Das Kartoffelpüree ist gut abgeschmeckt. Mir gefällt das es nicht zu fein ist, sondern noch ganz kleine Stücke hat. Nettes Detail ist bei jedem Gericht die kleine Grilltomate. Klasse. Schade dass das Püree keinen Parmesan mehr beinhaltet. So fehlt irgendwie der letzte Pfiff und das Originelle. Der Lendentopf ist ebenfalls sehr schmackhaft aber schon ein wenig mächtig mit dem Käse und der Hollandaise. Das Fleisch ist wunderbar zart und alles ist mit frischen Kräutern gewürzt. Unter anderem Rosmarin. Dazu gibt es einen Salat, den das Gericht als Ausgleich braucht. Wer ordentlich Hunger hat ist mit dem Lendentopf gut bedient. Auch weitere Gerichte sind sehr gut, aber jedes Gericht beschrieben sprengt den Rahmen. Das Ambiente ist modern und warm. Auch hier wurde wert auf Details gelegt und nicht das billigste genommen. Tischplatte aus geleimten Massivholz und nicht nur Furniert z.B. Eine schöne Tischdeko mit frischen Blumen, aber ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Jeder Gastraum (5 an der Zahl) ist etwas anderes gestaltet und in sich stimmig. Auch ein kleiner Barbereich um nur mal ein Bier oder Cocktail zu trinken ist vorhanden. Dennoch wirkt es nicht unruhig und durcheinander. Es passt alles zusammen und man fühlt sich wohl. Die Musik ist nicht altbacken aber auch nicht so modern das sich ältere daran stören. Der Blick in die Küche stimmt einen beruhigend. Alles ist sauber und einigermaßen aufgeräumt. Zumindest das was man so durch die Tür sehen kann. Dem Personal merkt man an das sie gerne dort arbeiten und Spaß haben. Der Service ist freundlich und schnell. Bei unserem Besuch hatten alle ein Lächeln im Gesicht obwohl es gut gefüllt war. Das Essen und trinken kam dennoch flott. Der Wein, das Bier und der Espresso waren lecker. Die Espressotasse war gut gewärmt, so wie es sein soll und es gab ein kleines Wasser dazu. Genau so gehört es sich. Insgesamt kann ich das Felix wirklich jedem empfehlen. Es ist lecker und einen Besuch wert. Die Preise sind gerechtfertigt. Macht bitte so weiter. Nur einen Kritikpunkt und eine Anmerkung habe ich: Untersetzer der Kreissparkasse Nordhausen gehen gar nicht. Nehmt welche von Warsteiner, dessen Bier ihr auch auf der Karte habt. Und wo wir beim Bier sind: Das Augustiner Hell noch zusätzlich anzubieten würde eure Getränkekarte perfekt abrunden. 😉

Sehr schönes gemütliches Restaurant auf der Altstadtmauer. Habe im Voraus gebucht um meinen Abschied von Nordhausen nach einem kurzen Heimaturlaub zu feiern. Es war um 6 Ihr abends noch sehr heiss. Wir bekamen keinen Schatten durch Sonnenschirm, es hieß das hätte extra gebucht werden müssen. Das machte mein geplantes Abschiedsessen sehr unangenehm.

Die ganze Ambiente war super. Preis Leistungs Verhältnis definitiv stimmig. Hab schon Lange keinen so leckeren Burger gegessen. Kann ich nur empfehlen

Es war sehr schön. Vorspeise spitze. Hauptgang naja. Schnitzel wie ne Zeitung und Pilze sehr scharf. Salat fehlt Dressing.

Herrliche Terasse für den Spätsommer mit schönem Sonnenuntergang. Dazu schmackhaftes Essen mit schönem Weinsortiment und leckeren selbst gemachten Limonaden. Was braucht man mehr? Immer eine gute Adresse!

Selten so gut gegessen bei einfach tollem Service. Ob schon bei der Tischbestellung oder dann beim Besuch. Servicemitarbeiter waren zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und immer zur Stelle uns freundlich , auch mit Witz, unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen...was bei einer großen , lauten Truppe garantiert nicht einfach war. Das Felix in der Altstadt von Nordhausen gehört meiner Meinung nach zu den ersten Adressen für gepflegte Gastlichkeit in der Stadt. Das Ambiente ist modern aber ausserordentlich gemütlich, bei gutem Wetter gibt es super schöne Aussenplätze mit einer tollen Aussicht auf die Stadt. Das Essen ist hervorragend; wir hatten Geschnetzeltes vom Schweinefilet mit Kartoffelplätzchen und einem sehr wertigen Wildkräuter Salat. Preis in den 17. 'er Euro. Auch auf kleine Gäste wird geachtet, unsere Enkelin, 4 Jahre, bekam sofort eine Kinder Speisekarte zum ausmalen mit Buntstiften. Der Service ist hervorragend, schnell und freundlich. Das Team weiß wie es geht und man fühlt sich sehr wohl! Aber Achtung: Reservierung empfohlen!

Ein wirklich schönes Restaurant, mit gemütlicher Terrasse, gutem Essen, in tollem Ambiente. Der Service besteht aus einem jungen Team und ist äußerst gut aufgestellt. Bei kompletter Ausbuchung kann es mitunter etwas laut im Restaurant werden und eine Unterhaltung gestaltet sich schwierig. Also wenn die Chance besteht - draußen einen Platz wählen.

Seemed like a nice and cosy restaurant to begin with. But unfortunately the good first impression was completely ruined by a rude waitress. Upon asking the waitress in my best German (!) whether she had a table for four (me and my family), the only thing she could say in a loud voice was "Nein, nein, nein". Strange behaviour?!
