Very large portions and selection

First time and was pleasantly surprised! There must be something special about the place if it's been there for so long and has been owned by the same family for so long, who, by the way, are very hospitable and attentive! I don't think we need to talk about the current staff anymore; we'll just have to accept that we have to tolerate more and more compromises there! The delicious food and the large portions are a reflection of the dated decor, but we're there to eat and don't want to move in. My companion had a meat dish and I had the lamb dish and everything was delicious! Later, the boss came out of the kitchen and made his rounds with the guests, stopping to stand with us both for a while, even though it was our first time there and his son is also very attentive and open-minded! It certainly won't be our last time!

The food is delicious and plentiful, and side dishes are easily swapped. The service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. It's best to make a reservation, but we've always managed to get a seat even at short notice. We're always happy to come back.

After an hour, we asked when the food would finally arrive. After more than an hour, the food was brought to us, all the bowls without a spoon, etc. The pork was dry, and a Rhodes platter came without tzatziki. Sad for the price, but the tzatziki we ordered still cost €6.50 (no words). Then we'll just eat somewhere else in the future.

Very good food really unbelievable

I had asparagus there last Friday and the following Whit Monday! It was outstanding! The asparagus was tender and 10 spears! The schnitzel, ham, potatoes, and Hallondaise sauce were fantastic! In the spring, I'll go there for kale! Both dishes are unexpectedly top-notch. You feel at home, even though the building is showing its age! But I wouldn't want to live there. Four good bowling alleys, a rare find these days!

I always feel comfortable and welcome. The food is delicious and truly enormous. In my opinion, you have the best liver in the world. A once-a-month visit is a must.

We had a lot of fun at a spontaneous tournament and spent a long time at the location. An all around great stay. I was once excited. Had steak. The meat was fantastic. But . I wanted rice but got fries. Return the plate. The rice was totally over-seasoned and then the sauce on top, it didn't fit at all. Then please leave out this exaggerated decoration on the plate. Well, the restaurant itself is quaint, but stained tablecloths are unacceptable and it was dingy. Too bad

Just horrible, if you want to take a trip to 1980 you can maybe stop by. Both the ambience and the working conditions seem to date from this time. Even as a guest it's not nice there, the tables aren't clean and neither are the toilets. In addition, it often happened that the meat was of poor quality (tough, streaked with tendons or dripping with fat). And a complete no-go, the owner touched me and other guests without asking and was generally too pushy. Yes, a certain degree of proximity to the guests is good, but that's just too much of a good thing. In addition, the restaurant cannot handle larger groups, despite reservations. Waited more than 2 hours for the food and was insulted by the owners at the end. Never again and absolutely not recommended. Finally, it can be noted that no effort is made in the reviews here and only the same answer is given, even with 1 star reviews.

NEVER AGAIN! I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant! The portions may be large, but they clearly skimp on the quality of the food. The dishes taste cheap and bland, and you get the feeling that only quantity rather than quality counts. But the worst thing was the behavior of the staff and the boss. I have never been treated so unkindly and disrespectfully in a restaurant. Every question or criticism was brushed off with an annoyed tone, and the boss himself seemed absolutely arrogant and uninterested in his guests. A warning to everyone: don't let the large portions fool you! If you value good food and respectful treatment, then save yourself a visit here. There are far better restaurants that really deserve your money!

Completely overcrowded and uncomfortable, completely unsuitable for dogs, even though we stated this in the reservation. We wanted to try something new because we really liked it after the Christmas party. Never again......

We ate cabbage and pee on a Sunday lunch in the Feldschlösschen with a group of 18 people. The restaurant was very busy. For €23.50 per person we ate a delicious meal. The cabbage was very tasty with an optimal consistency, not too runny. Pinkel, cooked sausage, bacon and smoked pork complemented the dish in great quality. The Grevensteiner Bockbier was very drinkable. The staff was very friendly, at the beginning there was an ouzo for everyone. The table for us was very narrowly placed, we sat close together, and many of us had to get up to go to the toilet to make room. Otherwise a great restaurant with friendly service.

It wasn't a good decision to eat kale from the Feldschlösschen in the evening. We spent the following night with severe stomach aches and nausea and exhausting visits to the toilet. It's very unfortunate when the food, which is far too lavish, wants to come out under pressure at the top and bottom. I can only recommend avoiding the store!

Simply fantastic – a must for connoisseurs! We visited the Feldschlösschen in Huchting and were completely thrilled! The hut is cozy, rustic and a place where you immediately feel at home, almost like you are with family. The food is outstanding: the starters, main courses and the menu as a whole leave nothing to be desired. There is something for every taste and the quality is absolutely convincing. The tzatziki in particular is amazing - the best we have ever tried! The reception with a welcome drink, a short one on the house, shows how much value is placed on hospitality here. The service is incredibly friendly, attentive and warm. A rating is actually not necessary here, because the hut is always full - no matter when you come. Despite all this, I would like to let others share and just say how comfortable we felt here. Pre-ordering is strongly recommended, otherwise it may be difficult to get a spot. The surroundings are also right: there are parking spaces right in front of the door, the toilets are clean, and the atmosphere is quiet and inviting. A real insider tip (from the son-in-law in Spe) that you shouldn't miss. We'll definitely be back, and we'll happily drive 3/4 hours to go and have a delicious meal ;) Kind regards

The staff was incredibly friendly and quick, the food was incredibly tasty, the portions were really big, the price/performance was perfect, and the atmosphere was great. My daughters and I really enjoyed the dishes full of flavor and very well cooked. Due to the language barrier we chose a bit at random on the menu but everything was very good and the waiters, thanks to a little English, were very nice and very helpful. Went there today, it was pretty busy for a Tuesday evening. The staff was very nice, accommodating. The drinks were served quickly and the food was extremely good. The quantity and arrangement of the food on the plate is also excellent. We sat outside, it was a little cramped but the food and service made up for it. I would be happy to recommend the restaurant. There was a kind of “wedding party” present that day. The ambience was unusually loud and intrusive. Perhaps those gentlemen would have been better off at Ballerman. As on our last visit, there was nothing to complain about either the food or the service. Even if the well-being wasn't quite as great this time under the circumstances, we'd love to come back!

Been here for the first time today. We stayed at the Feldschlösschen on multiple recommendations. The ambience is a bit old, but it has a certain charm. Service and food were perfect. We were really surprised by the food. A very generous portion, all homemade. The service staff kept asking if everything was okay and came over for a little chat. At the end the cook came and asked if everything was OK. Always very happy!!!

A super tasty and great restaurant. Even on a Saturday evening and with a full house, we received a warm welcome. We celebrated our son's confirmation there with almost 30 people, everything worked great, everything that was discussed was implemented brilliantly. The service was and is extremely nice and accommodating. We really enjoy coming here and can only recommend it.

A single catastrophe! We were there with a wedding party (25 people). Our reservation (bowling alley) was moved to the beer garden without comment, where of course it was raining. After 2 1/2 hours the event was canceled - without food. Guests who came after us left again, full. I ordered a Cola Zero 4!!!x before it finally came. Never again!!!!!(06/22/24)

A very pushy waiter, we were asked a total of 5 times whether we had already decided! And all in a time frame of under 10 minutes. Food tasted good, large portions at a good price, just a bit outrageous to charge €1.10 for a portion of mayonnaise or ketchup (plastic bag). Unfortunately our place was very dirty under the table, and we were there right after opening and had reserved! The ambience is rustic, you could invest in one or two things here.

Not recommended at all for vegans as everything is made with butter. The service always tried to provide suggestions, but if you dug deeper, either the vegetables or the pasta were made with butter or the pizza dough was made with eggs. So if you want a hot meal, you have to look elsewhere. There are recommended alternatives for everyone in Bremen city center. For the future it would be great if Mediterranean vegetables with olive oil (instead of butter) and pasta could be found on the menu. Or the pizza dough is traditionally prepared with just flour, yeast and water, then you can at least leave out the cheese.

If you like it rustic, this is the place for you. Very nice and courteous staff. The food tastes very good and the portions are generous. If there is anything left over, you can have it packed up. We felt like we were in good hands and would love to come back.

We have been there twice on a Saturday evening. First by chance. Yesterday evening, however, on purpose. The portions are incredibly tasty and more than sufficient. The staff is very friendly. Even though we come from Weyhe and have a journey of 20km...I don't know of any Greeks that are so delicious. We'll definitely be back. However, without a reservation you have no chance. The word has probably gotten around in Bremen and the surrounding area... It's always full to the last place. Keep it up is all I can say 😊👍😋
