Faustfood impresses with authentic, warm service and a quality that you can taste. Here we grill over a real charcoal grill - and this is noticeable in the intense aromas. The portions not only taste first-class, but are also generous. Particularly impressive: The restaurant brews its own beer, which rounds off the experience perfectly. We had burgers, Thuringian bratwurst and various side dishes - everything was excellent! Not an over-styled hipster burger knock-off, but an honest, down-to-earth barbecue joint with character. If you like real grilling and authentic taste, you should definitely try Faustfood!

Were there today for the belated Christmas party. Eating was super quick. The cheeseburger with chili fries was absolutely delicious. Everything was super fresh. Thank you for the great evening and big praise to the hosts Lars and his team.

Faustfood is a kind of covered grill snack. The food was ok, but in my opinion a bit too expensive for what was on offer.

Super, I came here looking for something edible and was well served; from my place at the plank I could watch the grill and the preparation. The food came to the place and was great. Cool shop, great team, plenty of offerings. I'm only satisfied once.

Burgers 🍔 handmade, no chain, absolutely delicious 😋 and the best in town, the ribs are also great. Thanks guys for your love of meat.

Simply a mega grill restaurant. The visit is definitely worth it 👍🏻

Rustic and open, orders are placed at the counter and then brought to the table. Everything is prepared in an open kitchen. The old masonry became a guest room, you have the feeling of sitting on the street in the Middle Ages. It's lively and loud, which suits the store, and you can also laugh out loud. We liked it very much.

Quite nice in itself, burgers were okay, fries were mediocre but unfortunately the price was too expensive :)

On the recommendation of some colleagues: "If you want to eat good Thuringians, then go to Faustfood, they have the best in Erfurt" I ended up at Fausfood. One Rostbrätl and one Thuringian later, I have to say that my colleagues were right. So tasty, the staff was great and the ambience with the central charcoal grill was absolutely great. It certainly wasn't the last time here 😊

We spontaneously got a table for 6 people at the Christmas market. Cool! Good food, reasonable prices and casual service staff. Fun to be there.

The best Thuringian bratwurst I have ever eaten. The smoky note from the charcoal grill makes sausages and other meat dishes particularly tasty. When I'm in Erfurt, I like to come back here. Thank you!

It wasn't the first time I've been there and it was always tasty. The burgers and spare ribs really taste great and the meat is particularly well seasoned and tender. Rarely experienced something like that. The fries are also tasty, not the McDonald's cliché but wider and tastier ones. What else was noticeable is that you get several sauces with it. The ambience is also cool, in my opinion. Not elegant, not a French restaurant, but rather Lost, which suits the place really well. And the employees are nice and friendly too. I have nothing to complain about 😅 So in any case, always happy to go back!

Very tasty dishes, excellent beer and schnapps. There is a nuance - everything is in smoke and it’s not particularly warm in the room (in cold weather) But you stop noticing it because of the wonderful atmosphere 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Rustic, unconventional, delicious. Nice atmosphere with the grill in the room where everything is freshly prepared. A little hidden in a small alley in the old town. Parking is rather bad. Card payment possible. You have to visit it once.

Rustic local, equally managed. Direct announcement from the boss at the checkout. Procedure: You come into the restaurant, the grill is right in front of you, and you are assigned a table. Here we discovered: Once you've finished eating, it should be fine! The place is buzzing. Then you go to a counter in a queue, order the food at the checkout and pay. Then you go to the table. The food came to us, 6 people, after about 20 minutes, fresh from the grill. The ingredients are of very high quality, it tastes so good that you'll want to order something even though you're full. It's not quiet in the restaurant, but conversations are still possible without any effort. This is not a place to spend a long evening. There is one point deducted in the service: the tables need to be wiped down better. The plate stuck everywhere. When we are back in Erfurt we will eat something there again. By the way, the landlord is an absolute original. Thanks for the hospitality

Rustic country in a hidden alley in beautiful Erfurt. The boys have fun with their shop and that is reflected on the plate. The slightly higher prices are absolutely in line with the quality of the food. Fresh ingredients and everything tastes absolutely perfect. It was a nice stay with you. The only drawback is that the toilets are borderline hygienic

Today while touring the city, we found this food place and I must say that it was very delicious, the prices were very good according to the products. I think the beer is the most delicious I've ever tried, the draft beer, the ideal temperature, excellent aroma and flavor. The attention was very good and he also spoke Spanish, which made the visit much more pleasant. Also, the person who attends has very cute tattoos on his arm ☺️😂 There I shared more than enough reasons to go 😂😂

We were there with our club, 48 guests. Everything went smoothly, everyone had their super good Thuringian Rostbratwurst very quickly. The restaurant is really rustic and cozy, everyone loved it!! Will definitely come back next time!!

Heute mal wieder was gegönnt und ein Rostbrätel auf Kartoffelpuffer mit Röstzwiebeln für mich und ne Bratwurst für die Frau. Das Rostbrätel war schön fleischig und die Röstzwiebeln und der Kartoffelpuffer darunter haben das Ganze noch gekrönt. Für das Geschmackserlebnis gebe ich gerne 11 € aus. Die Bratwurst war schön groß und das Brötchen war kein Billigaufbackkram. Meiner Frau und meinem Junior war sie zwar zu scharf, aber ich fand sie zum kalten Bier superlecker. Wer jetzt denkt 3,50 € sind viel Geld, dem muss ich widersprechen. Die "Billigbratwurst" auf dem Domplatz kostet nur 0,50 € weniger und die würde ich nicht mal an den Hund verfüttern. Wie immer gilt Qualität hat seinen Preis und ist ihn auch wert!!!

Today I treated myself to something else and a roast sausage on potato pancakes with fried onions for me and a bratwurst for the wife. The Rostbrätel was nice and meaty and the fried onions and the potato pancake underneath topped the whole thing off. I'm happy to spend €11 for the taste experience. The bratwurst was nice and big and the bun wasn't cheap baked goods. It was too spicy for my wife and junior, but I thought it was delicious with a cold beer. If you think €3.50 is a lot of money, I have to disagree. The “cheap bratwurst” on Cathedral Square only costs €0.50 less and I wouldn’t even feed it to the dog. As always, quality has its price and is worth it!!!

A very tasty roster, a good potato salad and some of our own draft beers. A bit pricey but bearable. (2 roasters with potato salad = 11€). Service was okay.

The ambience is very nicely decorated and has something of a mixture of a forest hut and a restaurant in Texas, but unfortunately it is not very big, so if you want to enjoy the food here with several people, you should reserve in advance, the staff is very friendly and will inform you, for example the meat is and ask whether you might want it to be different. The food leaves no room for bad reviews, very tasty and beautifully presented.

The best spare ribs, Kartoffelpuffer, chicken burger and Thüringer Bratwurst I've ever had and I was just lucky enough to visit right before the kitchen was closed. The service was very friendly and they didn't even bother to explain how things work there.

Fresh draft beer (its own small brewery) and grilled food - everything is very tasty. It is better to book tables in advance, but there is a counter where you can “catch” a place. Burgers, steaks, Thuringian sausages, kebabs, ribs, chicken... from vegetarian: grilled cheese, grilled vegetables, potatoes in different types (salad, baked, fries). Fairly fast and reasonable prices! There’s also a selection of sparkling wines, although snacks are more likely to go with beer)

What do I think is a shame? That all tables were reserved! Luckily we still got a seat at the counter. I have to say I love this restaurant, it's just beautiful there. The food is really tasty and absolutely justified and great for the price. Everything is freshly prepared and you can watch the experts at work. Always happy, an absolute recommendation.

When I discovered this restaurant I was absolutely thrilled. A real grill inside and a large selection of meat options but also vegetarian/vegan alternatives (grilled vegetables). If you like it a bit smoky, the ambience is recommended. The service was friendly and quick. However, it should be said that you have to order the food/drinks yourself at the counter. Unfortunately, the meat in the cheeseburger really wasn't tasty. It tasted like a ready-made patty from the supermarket, especially in terms of consistency. The Aperol Spritz also had a strange aftertaste, possibly an aperol imitation....

Haben uns Spareribs mit Pommes zum Mitnehmen geholt, da es dort immer recht voll und frisch ist. Die Rippen sahen schon ganz gut aus bevor sie auf dem Grill final zubereitet wurden, das konnte ich beim Warten verfolgen. Es war reichlich Fleisch dran und sehr zart. Auch die Soße war perfekt. Die Pommes waren auch sehr gut und die Cocktailsoße und das Ketchup echt lecker. Die Bratwürste und Burger sahen auch lecker und stehen schon auf dem Programm fürs nächste Mal. Weiter so!!!

Wow, this is the best bratl in the city so far. Large, medium and perfectly seasoned. The grill in the restaurant creates an authentic atmosphere like sitting at the grill. Here we come again!

There are many good bratwursts in Thuringia. But there are certainly the best here. And the spareribs are excellent too. The ambience is simple but appropriate. The charcoal grill is indoor, of course with a powerful extractor.

It's rare that I don't have anything to complain about. Friendly staff, short waiting time, affordable prices and most importantly delicious food!

About the relaxed, open guy with a beard at the counter from whom we ordered and immediately got the recommendation for the beer. Very correct and friendly. 👍 Personally, I have never eaten such a tender roasted sausage, the buffer underneath is a dream. The ribs were also on point, deliciously marinated, the meat fell off the bone. That's how it should be! My guys had the cheeseburger, rump steak and grilled peppers. Everything was super tasty. They were thrilled! The beer was also something different, very tasty and aromatic! At the end there was another helping because it tasted so great. Bratwurst and bratwurst in a bun. Excellent! Very rustic and the finest meat dishes

First I would like to comment on the food... The citizens we ate were very tasty. I had a chili burger with fries and bacon cheese. My better half had a BBQ citizen with grilled vegetables. As I said, very good. You order your own food at the counter, which is then brought to your table by the waitress. The atmosphere was rustic. What bothered us a bit was that it was a bit cold. There was a heater on the ceiling that would come on every now and then. It didn't spread any warmth, but it did emit a sonorous hum. Conclusion: If you like citizens you can eat well here. It should just be a little warmer outside so that the annoying heating doesn't start.
