Extremely nice people and good food for a really good price.

Very tasty and fresh food, also with vegan and vegetarian options. The staff is so nice, I got a little bonus treat at the end and some tea as well. Will visit again to try some other dishes :)

We have been returning here for past six years so I had to edit my previous review as they got even better over time. super friendly stuff, efficient and fast, the best part is delicious food! Prices are still student friendly and the taste and quality are perfect! We will keep coming back!

Fatima is, in my opinion, THE insider tip in Dresden. Whenever I'm in town, I eat here at least once. I get a full meal for my money and feel completely at home in the friendly atmosphere.

Truly delicious food. I had the falafel roll for €6. It was freshly prepared, warm, filling, filled with a variety of vegetables, hummus, potatoes, and other sauces, and well-seasoned. The whole thing was wrapped in a homemade flatbread. The photo isn't very attractive, but it shows that the roll is moist, squishy, ​​and varied. It's no comparison to other shops that sell ready-made "wraps" with pre-made falafel. A definite recommendation, especially for vegetarians.

Anyone who comes here isn't treated like a guest, but like a friend 💕 Such warm, friendly people, super delicious food, and no matter what you get, there's plenty. Black tea with a light peppermint flavor is free (although a small donation is allowed 😊). We'd love to come back here again. Thank you so much 💐💝

Everything was tip top from food to staff

Very small selection, practically two dishes. Overall, tasty, especially the salads. A big minus was that the food was completely cold. Everything, including rice, baked potatoes, and falafel 🥺😕. I definitely won't be going back.

Absolutely delicious! This family-run Middle Eastern restaurant in Dresden is a true gem. The main lady was so warm and welcoming, and her hospitality made the whole experience fantastic. She even offered us some excellent traditional tea. We tried the chicken plate, kofta plate, and falafel, and everything was incredible. It's clear they've put their own unique fusion and innovation into the traditional cuisine, making for some of the best Middle Eastern food we've ever had. The portions were huge, and the prices were very fair, offering great value for money. The food was fresh and delicious, and more than enough to satisfy us. They offer halal food. This place is a must-try if you are in Dresden.

Today we were fortunate enough to visit Mrs. Fatima's restaurant for the first time. It was a wonderful experience: delicious food with a unique flavor and warm hospitality that made us feel like we were at home rather than in a restaurant. It tastes so, so good there, the owner is super sweet and welcoming, and the portions are huge, so reasonably priced. If you have leftovers packed up, you get seconds to take home! Where else can you find something like this? So, folks, don't forget to tip ;)

They keep deleting my comments, please watch out here!!! This was the kitchen front of the restaurant. This is my deleted comment: Think twice before going here!!! It's very unhygienic. I ate it once and immediately got a stomach upset. The oil used is probably old. Also, they put everything with their bare hands, it looks very dirty.

A friend recommended this place to me for lunch. I once passed by around 8pm and checked it out, but it was quite crowded and I couldn't find a seat. This time, I went after lunch and it was empty. The menu is small, so I ordered a chicken plate and a plate of oven-roasted lamb (21 euros). I ordered at the counter and waited at my seat, and they brought it to me. Tea was complimentary. Knives and forks were self-service. The customers around me seemed to be regulars, and they ate with ease. The portions were large and a bit bland, but delicious. When I finished, I cleared my plates by myself near the counter. Apparently, credit cards are no longer accepted, so payment was cash only. I was a little worried because I'd always paid by card, but I had cash on me and was able to pay.

Yesterday, I went to this restaurant with my family for the first time. Honestly, the food was delicious and clean, and I felt like I was eating at my mother's house. The portions are generous for the price, and the service is extremely friendly to all guests. An experience I'll be happy to repeat. Thank you!

The price-performance ratio is very good and the food is very tasty. The service is also very nice. The only small drawback is that there is little seating in winter because the snack bar inside is not very big and the terrace is closed. Still highly recommended.

It was so delicious. The chicken was tender as butter, and the generous side dishes were perfectly seasoned and flavored. Fatima is such a hospitable person who took wonderful care of us. Huge portions for a reasonable price—€9 for such a large plate is an absolute dream for a Munich girl! In my opinion, this has to be the best restaurant in Dresden among all, irrespective of whatever cuisine you find in Dresden. The food takes time to arrive, but the wait is worth it. The owner is the kindest owner you can have. She treats everyone equally with respect. From a price point, you can't have anything cheaper than this. Really good food at a VERY reasonable price. The lady was willing to explain the dishes and was very patient while ordering, an absolutely wonderful and kind woman, paired with some amazing middle eastern food!!

Waiting is longer. Also, the price increased. I just came with two of my other friends last week. Two ordered chicken rolls, and one ordered falafel. We all ordered rolls. So I think you are mistaken; I am someone else.

The quality of this food is truly outstanding, as they always manage to make the meal taste just as good the next day as it did the day before. Of course, there are occasional exceptions, such as the chicken being a little (really just a little) too dry. However, this has only happened twice in at least 20 visits. The price for a chicken plate is definitely justified, as for €10 you get a generous portion of rice (about 2 x 375ml cups), baked potatoes, a braised vegetable mix (ingredients vary), a yogurt dip (mostly garlic so far), a leg of pork, and a small side salad. The whole thing is seasoned again and topped with roasted sunflower seeds, although the rice, and the leg itself, are already excellently seasoned. For those who don't eat meat, homemade crispy falafel balls are a great alternative to the leg, which also taste very, very good. Despite being located directly on Nürnbergerstraße, the shop feels very quiet, with a very simple but relaxed interior (Arabic->Jordanian, if I'm not mistaken).

Besser geht es nicht - köstliches und dazu noch günstiges Essen, super nette Betreiberin. Würden wir in Dresden wohnen wären wir Stammgäste, so werden wir immer, wenn wir in Dresden sind, sehr gerne wieder kommen.

AMAZING 🤩 Being on a diet, I opted for a straightforward grilled chicken and salad, without any extras, expecting just a basic meal to curb my hunger. To my delight, it was absolutely delicious and incredibly satisfying. What truly made the visit special was the exceptional hospitality. The owner was wonderfully attentive and so sweet, genuinely concerned that my simple dish might not be enjoyable enough, and she graciously offered a variety of alternatives. This level of care truly sets them apart. Both she and her daughter are phenomenal cooks, but more importantly, they treat every customer with the warmth and attentiveness you'd expect from family. I highly recommend you visit!

This is probably no longer an insider tip if you look at the queue between 6 and 7 p.m. I can simply recommend it. Sooo delicious. Unfortunately there are only a few tables. The prices are still fair by today's standards.

Hänchen Teller (Chicken platter) was amazing. It reminded me of authentic Indian biriyani. There is also self-serving of tea which went nicely with it. The shop is small in size but the general vibe was very friendly. Everybody was comfortably sharing tables, which I found charming as it is uncommon in Germany.
