The food is always very good and very plentiful. Everyone very friendly. You should only be prepared for longer waiting times if there are a few people ahead of you. The price is absolutely right for the portions and the taste. 😌

I am really impressed by Fatima's small but cute shop. What a nice woman. The food was excellent and absolutely sufficient. My son got half a plate, which was possible without any problems. Even if there are only a few seats, it's worth the wait. I never liked falafel before but thanks to Fatima I love them now. 🤩

Excellent atmosphere with happy music makes you feel close to home even though we are from Argentina. The food was spectacular, we left the plates empty even though it was big. Insanely good! We were welcomed by Fatima. Since there was no “real” menu, we asked nicely what we had to eat. Rice and potatoes form the basis and you can choose whether chicken, falafel or kofta. There is also salad and various dips. We were allowed to try falafel for free. Mega. The portions are huge and also very inexpensive. Here the price/performance ratio is more right than ever! The service is very attentive, even when it comes to small children. Great :D Sure, the ambience is snack bar level, hence only 3 stars here, but it doesn't always have to be a fancy restaurant. Sometimes the simple things are enough. The overall package is right here and that is important.

Always came at night. When the hunger pang hit you, this is the place to go. Open till 12 am. Sometime if you eat there, you will get some "bonus" and always a smile from Oma Fatima. Please support her. :)

Such a wonderful place to enjoy good food. A pleasant atmosphere, which is created primarily by the owner and her son. A family business that prepares fresh, delicious food every day. The family that runs Fatima is still responsible for the best food of this style of cuisine that can be found in Dresden. Something individual every day, always cooked and prepared with the greatest love. The owner and her family are always welcoming, warm and everyone is welcome. In my opinion, the prices are far too low and everyone who can afford it should tip generously so that this restaurant will continue to exist in this form in the future. A jewel in Dresden and an absolute recommendation for anyone who loves Middle Eastern cuisine - and who wants to taste what people who prepare food with passion are able to create. PS: Bring your appetite, the portions are huge! 😀

Rice and curry are delicious, but the service is very slow. You may have to wait for a minimum of 30 minutes, even on a less crowded day. The food portions and taste are inconsistent on different days.

We received great service here. The owner surprised us with the dish. We got a very large mixing plate with rice, salads, crispy chicken and various dips. Tastes great! The other service was also great. Had baklava and cinnamon tea for dessert. The price for this was very cheap. Always happy!

It is one of the best restaurants in the city. It serves a handful of dishes but each of them are worth a visit. The atmosphere is lovely. You will find a lot of students here on weekdays. Personally, this place cures my homesickness.

Honestly the best falafels I've ever had 💕

Best price performance ratio! My number 1 when I don't feel like cooking and I'm really hungry. The falafel plate is served with a delicious fresh salad, plus a large portion of rice with several falafels. There is also hummus and a garlic dip. All in all super tasty. I can also recommend the falafel roll for on the go, perfect to have on hand and very tasty. I prefer to take the food with me because there is very little seating.

Hmm everyone needs to know where they eat During the inspection on September 25, 2023, an infestation by the German cockroach was discovered in the toilet area and in the adjacent kitchen and preparation rooms. There was a live, adult cockroach in the toilet area. More cockroaches lay around the toilet, some dead and some alive. A toilet anteroom had not yet been completed, so access to the food areas/processing rooms was unhindered. In the preparation room, among other things, another live, smaller cockroach was found crawling on the tiled wall. There was an insert with freshly cut cucumber underneath. The cockroaches were visible in broad daylight and were not scared away. During the inspection on September 25, 2023, it was found in the company mentioned that there was no pest monitoring and that the door, which opens from the kitchen directly to the courtyard, was left slightly open for the entire inspection period.

Still amazed by our meal on Friday evening, I would like to share my impressions. We had 2 vegetarian plates, which were prepared very lovingly, plentifully and extremely tasty. The falafel was the best I've ever eaten! But I was particularly emotionally touched by the conversation with the owner. Thanks for the candor, her family has been through a lot. And yet she radiates a warmth, warmth and confidence that I can still literally feel. I am often in Dresden and will visit the “Imbiss mit Seele” whenever possible. I wish the entire family all the best and health!

So generous... so welcoming... amazing hospitality, and the food made by heart

Very changeable experience... sometimes the owner is totally friendly and warm, sometimes downright dismissive and even suspicious. One should be prepared to be drawn into their personal problems. Waiting times are beyond good and bad, something that used to be overlooked because of the low prices and delicious food. However, a falafel roll now costs €6.50 (while the shop window still says “from €2”), with meat €7.50. Plated meals are only slightly more expensive, so the calculation doesn't seem to be entirely correct. Of course, the prices have generally increased, but they are now well above average, as there are several falafel shops in the city for €4-5. What used to be “too” cheap is now rather too expensive.

The best place to eat in all of Dresden! Anyone who wants to try something different should come here!

Amazing hospitality felt like India, amazing food

By default, the chicken plate is always ordered, which is unique in Dresden and far better than any pressed meat kebab plate in Dresden. Super juicy chicken, delicious rice, huge portions and always an extra here and there such as. Falafel or or or. Fatima herself is very hospitable, sometimes it takes time, but every plate is always of really top quality. We discovered this restaurant by chance last month as it was close to our hotel. We each took the vegetarian plate, which consisted of all sorts of delicacies. The portion is large, the prices are absolutely fair and we even got seconds. We could tell that we liked it. We would have been so full, but it was just so delicious that we couldn't turn it down. The owner is incredibly warm. If we lived in Dresden, this would be our regular restaurant - unfortunately we were only here for vacation and so only had the opportunity to eat here twice.
