Very tasty food and very nice service.

The food's flavor is quite good, but compared to the price, it's a bit small. The attitude of the staff is extremely unstable. My friends and I came to eat, right when the staff were having lunch or something in the afternoon, so we took the menu to see for ourselves. We watched for a while and then a guy came over and said he would get chopsticks and spoons for us (We sat outside the store so we didn't have everything ready). We went with 3 people but only ordered 2 meals because my boyfriend and I eat very little so we always eat one portion together. After ordering, we waited for a while for the food to come out, and we still didn't have chopsticks or spoons to eat. I told the staff that we needed utensils to pick up the food. She said she would bring it right away. We waited for about 5 to 10 minutes but didn't see any staff coming. They served other tables and ignored our table. I don't know if we were traveling with disabled people or because we only ordered enough food to eat, so their attitude was like that. So my friend went into the store to get 2 sets of eating utensils, each bag had 2 sets of utensils. When they saw it, they walked out like, "Don't you have a besteck at your table? There are 2 sets of tools in one bag." After that, she took a set of tools, like "3 of you ordered 2 parts, then you received 2 sets of tools, that's enough". It didn't stop there, after we finished eating, it was difficult to pay. Raise your hand and call several times to pay but the staff walks back and forth, often looks out for a bit, then disappears and ignores the customer. My friend has to come in front of you and ask before you can start working. Just eat once and remember for the rest of your life, next time you won't dare to come again.

Such a juice shop. I specifically asked if I could pay by card. Then the meal took 45 minutes and I couldn't pay with a card. €5.95 fee, no tip, of course you get the change (€2.60) back in 10 cent pieces. Thanks for that, I won't go there anymore.

Fantastic food, very nice and courteous service, very clean tables and a very pleasant atmosphere. My granddaughter and I ordered fried flat rice noodles with chicken. It tasted great and was beautifully prepared too. Thank you very much!

I find it outrageous how you can get a bit of rice for €12.50!! Pieces of meat and a few vegetables. The taste wasn't bad. I wouldn't go there again.

Food was okay but the bill was a disgrace! Only afterwards did I realize that €1 had been charged for an extra dish, which wasn't there. Not enough was given out for €5, which we noticed in time. We could have saved ourselves a tip. Not recommendable.

The food has become relatively expensive now, especially if you just want to grab something to take away quickly, but it's absolutely delicious. We've been coming here for years because we really like the Esseb. Unfortunately, we won't have to do it in the future because I had to vomit a few hours after eating today. My husband has felt this way twice in the last 5 months. Now we assume that unfortunately it can no longer be a coincidence. It's a shame :/ sometimes it was fried noodles, sometimes curry, sometimes Pho Bo or spring rolls.

The best part of our visit here was the food. Otherwise it was difficult. Our reservation was not noted. However, seats were "cleared" for us after we refused the table at the entrance door. The cutlery for eating was only available upon request. The highlight was the “dessert”. It was brought to us in its packaging! That was completely new to us. But we were allowed to return it under protest. Maybe the service was overwhelmed. We didn't like the atmosphere that much. It reminds me a bit of a train station because of the noise. But what really stood out was the food. There are 5 🌟 for this

Food is good, but there are waiting times even though you order in advance and then have to wait another 30 minutes!

Food is getting worse and more expensive, my tofu was fermented, the broccoli had lots of brown spots. The service was extremely unfriendly, once again. I was a regular customer at lunchtime, but will avoid the restaurant in the future. There are much better Asians in the area.

Very nice Vietnamese restaurant, nice service, unfortunately pickled garlic is not top everywhere. Phô Bo soup with beef is highly recommended.

The food is traditional Vietnamese. We were served quickly, but the restaurant was empty. The staff is nice. The prices are ok, but not cheap. We would come back. Unfortunately, the chairs are very hard and it's a bit cramped.

Visit the restaurant relatively often as it is really delicious. Unfortunately, since the switch from ordering at the counter to on-site service, it's been a real disaster. Maybe you have to compare the order on the server's cell phone with the wishes again, because the orders were mixed up regardless of the employee. If you complain about this oversight, you will be asked to eat your order anyway. I ended up sharing her meal with my friend. In the last 4 visits I got the wrong food 4 times... you have to manage it first.

If you were going to name a dish on the menu in Vietnamese, please make sure it would at least replicate 70% of the original dish? If you enjoy watered-down mess disguised under Vietnamese name, you would enjoy it here, otherwise if you are looking for an authentic experience, there are better places. My Hoanh Thanh was served with glass noodle instead of noodles, with a side of three dry chicken slices and ywo pieces of tasteless wonton. The Papaya salad was overly salty. Overall i would not recommend this place around all.

Unfortunately, since there has been a new owner, it has become a disaster. Orders are constantly forgotten or mixed up, sometimes you wait over an hour for a meal or a drink. It's a shame our tribe used to be Vietnamese with a nice team, but can no longer be recommended.

Wir hatten über qooody.com online einen Tisch reserviert und erhielten die Bestätigung via WhatsApp. Nach der Bestellung nimmt man Platz und wartet bis der Pager anschlägt. Das Relief des Kolloseums an der Wand, lässt darauf schliessen das vorher wohl ein Italiener der Pächter war. Nun mit ein paar Hüten asiatischer Reisfeldarbeiter und en rustikalen Tischen und Bänken - ohne Rückenlehnen - kommt ein Hauch von Vietnam durch den Gastraum. Die Speisen sind nichts besonderes - man muss schon Fan vietnamesischer Küche sein. Mit den bereit gestellten Gewürzen kann man die Schärfe selbst bestimmen. Es wird alles frisch gekocht und angebraten. Geht man von der Größe aus der Bowl aus sind die Suppen sind hier eher als Haupt- denn als Vorspeise gedacht.

Personal versteht kaum deutsch, essen kalt! Tee mit Zitronen Gas (so steht es zumindest an der Tafel) :-), wurde nur gegen zweimaliger Nachfrage und mit hochgezogenen Augenbrauen gesiebt. Tee schmeckt dann viel zu scharf! Restaurant sehr laut, Personal schreit durch das ganze Restaurant. Wir kommen nicht nochmal wieder! Essen hat nicht satt gemacht. Viel zu teuer für die Portionen

Anfangs ganz ok, nicht so teuer. man sitzt draußen ganz schön. Wir waren zum Mittag aber es hat nicht so recht geschmeckt. Das Gemüse war alt und das Kokos Curry war sehr milchig. Kartenzahlung ✅

Ich gehe hier regelmäßig essen! Und bin nach wie vor überzeugt. Preis/Leistung passt - drinnen wie draußen ist es angenehm, Personal steht’s freundlich.

Our experience here was sadly not really pleasant at all. Unfortunately, we did not find any information on how to order in the restaurant and sat at a table for quite a while until we were told by other guests that we had to queue at the cash desk. It should also be noted that only cash payment is possible (no information could be found) and the payment has to be made before receiving the food. After I asked in a friendly way if we could pay for the meal afterwards, as my partner had just rushed to the savings bank to get enough cash, I was looked at in horror, my order was held back and the conversation was topped off with the particularly "polite" remark: "MY GOD!". The vegetarian food I ordered was not spiced very well to the point of being too sour and was not convincing in terms of taste. I will never be seen here again. But apparently customer service isn't very important in the mass processing either.

Leider enttäuschend.. für 9,50 eine mini Portion zu weiches Gemüse mit viel Reis, nicht gut Gewürzt, dünne suppige Soße ohne viel Geschmack. Werde nicht wieder kommen. Immerhin musste ich nicht lang warten.

Online Tool zum abholen funktioniert nicht (dabei wird eine Nachricht auf WhatsApp mit der Bestellung generiert). Da sich auf meine Anfrage keiner meldete, rief ich rechtzeitig nochmal an und es wurde gesagt, dass WhatsApp noch nicht gelesen wurde. Ich gab also meine Bestellung nochmal auf. Im Restaurant angekommen fiel mir auf, dass die Bestellnummern andere sind, als bei dem Buchungsportal, daher fragte ich nochmal nach, ob ich wirklich das richtige Essen erhielt. Die Bedienung erwiderte, dass es das selbe sei, was schlussendlich nicht der Fall war. Fazit: mir wurde total unfreundlich gesagt, dass dieses online Buchungsportal nicht mehr aktuell ist (Frage: warum wird es dann noch verwendet?), ich fühlte mich, als hätte ICH den Fehler gemacht 😅 und durfte dann noch mehr bezahlen, als ursprünglich angegeben war. Von der Qualität des Essens war es eine 3/5, aufgrund der Gesamterfahrung eine 2/5.

Für die Preise wird zu wenig geboten, sowohl geschmacklich als auch quantitativ. Die Pho für 10 Euro besteht hauptsächlich aus fader Brühe, einziger Akzent ist der Chiligeschmack. Zu wenig Nudeln und Gemüse für den Preis.

Sehr gute, individuelle vietnamesische Küche. Besonders zu empfehlen sind die gefüllten Betel Blätter, der Sesam Tofu, die kleinen Suppen. Aber auch alles andere ist klar besser als der Leipziger Durchschnitt. Die selbstgemachte Limonade ist extrem süß, muss man wissen ob man das mag. Man sucht sich vorher sein Essen aus und bestellt es am Schalter, wo man es auch direkt bezahlt. Das Essen wird dann an den Tisch gebracht. Die Tafeln draussen und drinnen sagen ungefähr das gleiche. In der gebundenen Speisekarte neben dem Schalter findet man allerdings noch einiges, besonders kleinere Speisen die nicht nochmal auf den Tafeln stehen. Restaurant samt Toilette ist top sauber gehalten. Die Person am Schalter ist immer mal wieder etwas grantig, als Berliner kann man damit umgehen. Nervt, würde aber maximal einen halben Stern Abzug geben, deshalb mach ich einfach gar keinen.

Das geht besser. Das Gute vorweg: es geht schnell, drei Essen waren gleichzeitig fertig, das Essen ist warm und die Portion sind gut zum satt werden. Geschmacklich ist noch Luft nach oben. Mit guter vietnamesischer Küche kann der Imbiss nicht mithalten. Die Getränke sind deutlich zu teuer.

Angenehmes Restaurant (oder imbiss? Grad unschlüssig wo die Grenze liegt :)): Bestellung unkompliziert an der Theke (Bezahlung dann bar oder auch Karte, da ist das fam tran phat weiter als andere Läden ähnlichen Konzeptes) und das essen kommt dann zügig zum Tisch. Qualität der Essen ist gut und dafür die Preise fair, man wird satt ohne dass riesige Mengen liegen bleiben. Die Pho und die Reisgerichte schmecken uns gut die Auswahl ist gut aber auch kein "wir machen alles". Alles in allem solides essen zu angemessenen Preisen.

Ein sehr schöner, gemütlicher Laden mit Sitzgelegenheiten drinnen und draußen. Die Bedienungen sind sehr nett und die Essensauswahl und Qualität sind auch absolut Top!

Das Essen schmeckte angebrannt. Ansonsten hatte der frittierte Tofu keinen Geschmack. Bei dem Gericht mit Erdnusssauce fehlte die Erdnusssauce und der Salat war welk. Alles war einfach in Sojasauce getränkt. Die Pho enthielt ein paar Nudeln, Brühe und auch den angebrannt schmeckenden Tofu, die anderen Zutaten fehlten. Hätten wir nicht kurz vor Schließung zum mitnehmen bestellt, hätte ich es zurückgebracht und mein Geld zurückverlangt.

Als ich rein kam, saß die Dame an einem Tisch und telefonierte und ignorierte mich. Dann nahm sie mein Handy aus der Hand und schaute sich das Impf Zertifikat an. In dem Bereich, der privat ist klickte sie sich munter vorwärts und erklärte dann, das Zertifikat sei nicht gültig. Ich verwies auf den grünen Haken und den Gültigkeitshinweis. Sie wollte noch einen tagesaktuellen Test sehen, bevor ich überhaupt bestellen durfte. Ich gehe da nicht mehr hin, so möchte ich nicht behandelt werden. Kein Wunder, daß es so leer war dort.
