The falafels were really delicious, and the owner himself was quite an interesting character. There was some kind of Arabic or Kurdish techno music playing in the shop—and the DJ behind those tracks was the owner himself! It was a perfect mix of music, flavor, and atmosphere.

Very good service, Ali put together several vegetarian plates for us (36 people) at short notice and delivered them himself. There was even an extra one on the house. I can highly recommend Mawal/Fafafelwerk for other events! The food was also very tasty and pleased us all, especially the vegetable patties!

Good food, nice staff BUT the guy does everything with bare hands - takes our dirty money, touches the bread and halloumi, and then touches the wet kitchen towel. He also dragged our bread along the counter to fill it with salad and sauce. Scary. No hand washing in sight. And why would he care? I'm slightly scared of what impact the sandwich will have on my stomach. Please do better. Thank you for the sandwich though.

Just had Shawarma Makali. They were really small and unfortunately didn't fill us up. The salesman seemed very stressed, the roll in the evening was only very small and in the end even the sauce was forgotten for the shawarma...

I was horrified to find a thick strand of hair inside my sandwich—it was truly shocking. To make matters worse, when I politely asked for extra hummus, the staff member used the same spoon to scoop some, placed it directly on my partially eaten sandwich, and then put the spoon back into the hummus pot. This means the next customer will unknowingly be served with the same contaminated spoon. Absolutely unacceptable and unsanitary!

Delicious falefel in Brot. Falefel is crispy on the outside and moist and well seasoned on the inside. The bread is toasted fresh so is crispy, soft, chewy, fragrant. Delicious!

One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. The food is excellent, and the prices are lower than similar places nearby, without any compromise on quality. The portions for their plate dishes are generous, and the spices, sauces, and herbs are great. Service is quick, attentive, and the staff is always friendly. They also accept card payments without any hassle. Overall, it's a great choice and, in my opinion, better than Maroush across the street.

The food was delicious and freshly made! The local itself is quite small but cosy and clean, plus you can sit outside as well! We got our orders very quickly and did not pay much (and the portions were very satisfying). It was probably the best falafel I have ever had!

Falafel were not fully cooked and were quite flabby. There was no bread with the falafel plate. The sauces were OK, but didn't take away from the overall experience.

Don’t sleep on this place. I mean, it’s small but authentic. The owner is killing it, the flavors are all on point and presented bautifuly. Oh and it’s inexpensive!

The employee touched everything possible, was on the phone the whole time, was then out on the street somewhere for about 5 minutes and then - without washing his hands (!) - put ALL of my fries in the to-go box with his hands packed. It's just disgusting and unnecessary to even touch them with your hands. Employee with a hat but super nice and have only had good things with him so far.

Good and affordable food. I always get the Mawal plate.

The falafel was so so, but the fattoush was really dry, without crunchy break on the top, and without any sauce (olive oil, pomegranate sauce!), it was basically just a mix of dry vegetables. If you’ve eaten real fattoush before, you would be so disappointed.

This is my favourite plate of food in Berlin. The sauces are soooo tasty. Well done team.

Nicht zu empfehlen. Essen ist nicht wirklich gewürzt, außer ev. die Saucen und das was schon soweit vorgefertigt war. Salat, nur klein geschnittenes Gemüse, ohne Öl und Essig bzw. Dressings. Alles kalt, außer die Falafel ... Reis, war alle, deshalb einige Kartoffelecken in Öl frittiert, diese waren innen noch roh - sowas geht gar nicht! Weiterhin viel zu wenige davon, deswegen auch der halbe Teller voll dem Salat, welcher keiner war. Das Hähnchen vom Spieß war lau warm und der Spieß war recht verschmutzt am unteren Rand Auslage mit den Zutaten unhygienisch, im Rotkohl lagen u. a. mit andere Beilagen drin und dieser war auch nicht mehr frisch. Vielleicht immer erst etwas weniger aufschneiden. Ich wurde von einem Koch begleitet! Schade das Hasir, erst die zweite Wahl war.

Hatte nach dem Spätdienst totalen Hunger und habe dort bestellt und per Kreditkarte bezahlt. Hab 45 Minuten auf das Essen gewartet und dann gesehen,dass die Bestellung einfach storniert wurde, obwohl das Restaurant noch geöffnet war. Es war dann zu spät um noch woanders zu bestellen. Das Restaurant hat bis 4 Uhr nachts geöffnet und ich habe um 23:15 bestellt. Wenn dann keine Lieferung mehr möglich ist, wäre ein Hinweis darauf sehr hilfreich.

I order a Shawarma-Falafel Plate, the Vegetables wasn’t fresh enough, the Chicken wasn’t crispy at all and Falafel wasn’t fresh fried and everything was a sour taste of Lemon in bottle. NOT REALLY RECOMMEND, in this Area there most better Restaurants/Imbiss where you can get fresh food.

Sehr frische Falaffel und frisches Scharwama, mit super freundlicher Selbstbedienung.

Mitarbeiter müssen sich gründlich und öfter die Hände waschen. Hab schon mehrfach gesehen wie ein Mitarbeiter Fleisch mit seinen ungewaschenen Fingern isst, Finger abschleckt und dann das vegane Sandwich zurollt. Mir war dann direkt übel, wollte kein Drama machen; aber Sandwich hat dann nur halb so gut geschmeckt. Sonst würde ich gerne 5 Sterne geben, schmeckt gut.
