Highly recommended, friendly and attentive... the view of the Rhine is priceless...

Recommended in summer, location is everything.

We just wanted to quickly pick up a takeaway drink and some ice cream for our daughter on a nice Sunday. Unfortunately, we had to wait in line for over 15 minutes. We felt the wait was very long, especially for such a small order. The prices also seemed too high, especially in relation to the service provided. The staff seemed visibly overwhelmed, which we can understand given the crowds – but they should be more prepared for good weather on weekends. It was particularly disappointing that the strawberry ice cream we wanted was already sold out, but we weren't informed of this until after a long wait. Our 2.5-year-old daughter was naturally very upset about this. Overall, the visit was unfortunately rather frustrating for us. Perhaps the process can be optimized a bit in the future when customer traffic is high – for example, through better communication and a clearer overview of the available items.

Located directly on the Rhine, it offers a beautiful view and the option to take the ferry to Mondorf. The restaurant is lovely and, when the weather is nice, there's plenty of seating. We come here often. Sometimes service takes a little longer. The staff are friendly. We enjoy the food. I can't recommend the drinks (homemade lemonades and spritzers). They're too watery and too expensive. Unfortunately, there's no good ice cream selection. Overall, though, the food is good and the surroundings are very beautiful.

In principle, yes. Unfortunately, only cash payments are accepted. Bad for tourists or walk-in customers. I would have liked to leave more money, including tips...

Dirty and unkempt place. Tons of cigarette butts lying around on the outdoor terraces, dirty chair cushions, and when you leave the place toward the bus stop, you unfortunately also have to look at the dirty and smelly garbage dump. Service was good.

For my girlfriend and me, this is "our restaurant." We love the food, the super friendly service, and the view of the Rhine and the Rhine ferry. The interior is also great and fits the riverside atmosphere. 1 star deducted solely because of the mostly very small tables. The restrooms are a bit harder to find the first time you're there. If 100% satisfaction were a requirement, my girlfriend and I would give it 95%. ☺️

The view is very nice, the food seems to be a convenience product, my pizza tonno was clearly below Doctor Oetker level, my wife's bowl was okay but nothing more and all dishes expensive

We took the ferry across the river in Mondorf yesterday and treated ourselves to a pizza at the Graubi Bar. The pizza was absolutely delicious. What we particularly liked was that the two young women serving were super friendly. It was a busy day, but they didn't let it bother them; they were in a good mood and very friendly. When I told them we really enjoyed the pizza, they thanked me with a smile, and it was a genuine smile. We'd definitely be back.

A beautifully situated rest stop on the Rhine, ideal for a break during a bike tour along the Rhine or before or after a ferry ride across the Rhine.

It's a pleasant place to sit and look out at the Rhine. The ferry is a busy place. It's a no-go that the bike path has priority over cars. Some people speed there, which can lead to dangerous situations.

Two of us were there on Tuesday around 12:30. We were the fourth people outside. We ordered patatas bravas and currywurst with fries. We had to wait at least 20 minutes for our drinks. As the drinks were brought to our table, we ordered our food. It was slowly getting busier, and all the tables outside were occupied. The food kept coming. Meanwhile, guests who had arrived much later had their meals. Finally, after about 50 to 60 minutes, the food arrived, but the patatas and currywurst were nowhere in sight. When the patatas bravas were also ice cold, I'd finally had enough. I complained and had them sent back. I paid for the drinks and left. What's the problem with serving currywurst with fries and potato wedges with sauce? I will never go there again and will of course warn everyone else about this terrible place!

40 minutes after ordering, the waiter comes and says there's no pizza. So I don't recommend it...

I've been to the Graubi Bar several times. I think the food, the service, and the value for money are all perfectly fine. What's really unacceptable, however, is the cleanliness. This applies to both the interior and the terrace. Yesterday the terrace floor was covered in broken glass. I know the cobblestones aren't easy to keep clean, but this is simply not acceptable. I had a dog with me, and I ended up carrying it. I don't normally put dogs on the bench, but here I had to. Thank goodness I brought a blanket. The chairs and tables could also use a wipe down. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time it looked this dirty. On most visits, I had companions with me, and they immediately complained about the cleanliness. What must the toilets look like? What a shame, it could be so nice there.

The food was quite good 👍, but the beer I ordered was unfortunately warm and undrinkable in the heat. Perhaps they should chill the drinks earlier in very warm weather. The view of the Rhine is beautiful.

I was there last week. It had a lovely terrace with a view of the Rhine and the ferry. I was pleased with how friendly and knowledgeable the service staff were. The very young staff deserves great praise and recognition for this. Something like that isn't really to be expected these days. The food was good and the value for money was more than acceptable. The only negative point was the cleanliness of the restrooms and the area behind the restaurant. It looked like a garbage dump, and that's a point deducted!

I was there for the first time today. The restaurant is beautifully located. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were very good. The ambiance is unique, especially given the location. Payment is cash only. Definitely worth another visit.

A nice shop, well located, with plenty of on-street parking and a beautiful view of the Rhine. However, the restrooms are very unsanitary, and the service is sometimes very slow and uncoordinated. The atmosphere is very pleasant, but all the parked posers and the smell of barbecue are annoying and disruptive. Even though the police keep checking in, it still has an impact on the experience. We sat here with several adults and children and paid just under €50, including tips, for drinks, crepes, and pizza. I think that was perfectly fine. For a nice evening, it's definitely worth it.

Atmosphere, looking out on the water was very nice. I ate a Jägerschnitzel, the schnitzel was quite tough, the fries weren't particularly good. In my opinion, the sauce was a packet sauce, I didn't really look at the cutlery and it was dull. Conclusion: I was here for the first and last time. 1.5 hours drive for such a not really wholesome meal, no thanks.

Wonderful view of the Rhine and the ships passing by as well as the shuttle ferry. The ambience in the bar itself is unfortunately a little affected by the narrow space, but it is nicely designed. Food is really delicious! The service is nice, but you should take your time. If you know that beforehand and take it into account, everything is fine. Also good to know in advance: As of now (November 2024): Card payment is still not possible.

Friendly service meets fair prices in a great atmosphere! The Fairpavillon has everything to offer, from coffee and cake to proper main meals. With a clear view of the Rhine, you can enjoy your break twice as much. Thank you for letting me recharge my ebike battery with you!

All in all a cool location. Food ok, but not great. The menu is very extensive and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. But no card payments etc... I don't want to make any assumptions here.

Ambience and view very nice. After the first meal failure there was a second chance. Now there are no more, tasteless, somehow loveless, far too greasy, salt was completely missing. There were a total of 4 people in the restaurant with us. The drinks were completely forgotten, when we listened after 35 minutes there was an "um" - but that was friendly. The hot cocoa was cold, the soda was okay. It's a shame, we'll come back, but only to have something to drink. Food thanks - but no thanks!

Very chill and nice place. Perfect for a stopover on a bike tour. I can't say anything about the food, but the drinks are great. There is also self-service on the beer benches. Unfortunately only cash payment, which I find rather strange these days. I rarely have any cash with me, especially on bike tours. That should change.

I've known the place from sight for a long time, especially of course because of the ferry pier. In fact, I was there for the first time just last night and ate something - a finger food plate. This included 2 dips of your choice. Everything very tasty!! The service was very friendly and attentive, the furnishings of the restaurant were simple but appropriate. You sit right on the Rhine, watch the ships go by - you get that holiday feeling! For me, a place where you can just relax and breathe.

Been there briefly... I wanted to order...since the beer benches are self-service...and politely asked if you could or could pay with an EC card... Answer...No...Cash only...The tone wasn't very customer friendly...the sentence next to it is just like that....🤨🤔... Then we thought... we definitely don't have to rely on everyone because of our wealth... and we invested our money somewhere else with food and all the trimmings...

Please be careful when parking. I broke my entire front in the parking lot. The only thing that came from the boss was, there is a sign, at your own risk... It's ridiculous to have so little understanding of customers

Didn't eat, just enjoyed the sundowner. Nice atmosphere, good drinks and reasonable prices. Despite the nice weather, parking wasn't a problem at all and there were plenty of nice places to hang out and chat!

No card payment. Young inexperienced staff. Unequal guest handling and no apology after you had to take the payment into your own hands. Left hungry. Someone else will be happy with my money...! The last visit during the lunch break was not pleasant at all. Unfortunately it's still not possible to pay by card, but so be it... just have a drink. Beer glass was dirty, so it was enjoyed straight from the bottle. The question about the bill was answered with “coming soon”. After coming back, orders were still taken and other customers cashed in, but they didn't ask about it until after me. It would have been polite to adhere to a customer-oriented order. But to make matters worse, another table was then covered and when I asked again they tried to fob me off with “I’ll be right back”. I then went on my own and basically paid at the counter. When asked whether this had all happened on purpose, the only answer was “No”. Not even a brief apology or a spark of insight. Shows me that the staff has not been trained or trained and has no place in service.

The Graubi Bar is generally great because the food is good, the view of the Rhine... wait!! Unfortunately, there is one thing that is so annoying that I won't go there anymore (neither will my friends). On the bank there are cars and posers playing Turkish music at a volume that lacks any consideration. The view of the Rhine becomes a view of tuned "carts". No thanks!!

The food isn't great, but it's good and filling. The service is very attentive. I think the boys and girls change more often. It's a bit chaotic at times, but everyone is nice. It's pretty good to sit directly on the Rhine, it's often windy and you may find yourself sitting on beer sets. There are also a few small tables and chairs above. If necessary, you can even get a sun lounger. I can't judge the atmosphere inside. So far I've only sat outside.

We ended up in the Graubi Bar because of the TV show 'My Local, Your Local'. The expectations were high and unfortunately were not met. The food and service can only be rated as average. There were five burgers to choose from. I chose the heartiest ingredients based on the ingredients. The dish was rather bland and lacked seasoning or a delicate sauce. My partner's vegetarian burger was well thought out in terms of ingredients but also lacked sophistication. The fries were pale and not at all crispy. With the popularity gained from television, more could be done with it. Currently only good snack bar quality.

We have been there twice since the TV broadcast. I would also like to explain my star rating. The first time we wanted to order 2 spaghetti ice cream, which wasn't available. But there was vanilla ice cream. Well, maybe the sauce was missing, who knows. Yes, the ice cream was just cold. It wasn't particularly exciting, but I'm not asking for it now either. The second time we ordered a starter (aioli with bread and dates wrapped in bacon) Main course the schnitzel and a bowl. I wanted one of the homemade iced teas, which wasn't available either. I guess I have a knack for that. Then the food came. My bowl, and the bowl of aioli was on the schnitzel plate. When I asked what was going on with the starter, I was told "the dates would be ready any minute". I canceled it, then noticed that there was no bread on the table with the aioli and we were seriously asked if we wanted the bread - we already had the aioli (on the main course plate) For me, a starter is just what it says, BEFORE the main course The bowl tasted like ready-made couscous with little to no spices. The only flavor was actually the kiwi. According to my husband, the schnitzel wasn't tasty at all, greasy breading and no nice meat. The fries were delicious. The waitresses are really very attentive and friendly. There is a deduction for the really super narrow and unfortunately unclean toilet. For the other participants at my local your local, I'm sorry if I see the bar as more of a beer garden level. The location is great especially after a walk or bike ride. We won't be eating there anymore, but you can definitely go there for a drink or a snack.
