Great location in Rostock - the menu sounds really promising. Unfortunately, the service is probably not that well coordinated yet and there are always inconsistencies - it took a long time to get the drinks, unfortunately the food was forgotten when ordering and comments were not taken into account. The food and quality are good and imaginative, such as fried potato puree! However, the price is a bit too high!

A very nice atmosphere! In addition, the toilets were very clean and stocked with menstrual utensils.

From the moment you entered the restaurant, the service was very attentive and friendly. We sat in the upper part of the restaurant, which had a beautiful ambience. After a short wait the food came. Super tasty and really well balanced ingredients. We had the Beyond Meat Burger and the Smash Burger each with potato dippers and truffle mayo. It was a dream. The cocktails are also very tasty. Price wise completely ok. We went home completely satisfied.

Great ambience and nice staff, but this restaurant couldn't make a name for itself, from the starter to the main course. Unfortunately, the starter came in a different quantity than ordered, and even after making a note and correcting it, we didn't get the quantity we wanted. After we got our main course after a good 2 hour stay, it was more than cold. We complained about our food and got our “new” dishes cold again after a short time (probably after a short trip through the microwave). The staff responded in a friendly and accommodating manner, but it was still a shame and simply too expensive for such quality.

We easily got a table for two without a reservation late on a Saturday evening. The cocktails are a bit more expensive, but definitely worth the price. They are incredibly well made and I think they are the best I have ever had in Rostock. So you can definitely treat yourself. There isn't much choice in terms of food, but it's enough to cater to (almost) every palate. I had the vegan burger and it was very tasty. The service was also super friendly and the atmosphere was really nice. So give me two more years when my studies are over and I'm earning decent money and I come regularly.

Great restaurant, great service and good food, which is not only delicious but also beautifully prepared. The drinks are also good, including the non-alcoholic cocktails.

Unfortunately, there were lewd and clearly offensive comments from the service staff during our visit. It was just uncomfortable. This experience, alongside the rather average and overpriced menu, really spoiled the evening. I will avoid the restaurant in the future.

Price-performance is simply not met here. Ambience really nice, service unfortunately very hectic and not really attentive. Ingredients are also not mentioned on the menu - for example, fish (for a roast beef dish), we were told we had to ask if there was fish in it? The udan noodles were very tasty, but the “fried” beech mushrooms were pickled and not fried, which I personally didn’t like at all. Unfortunately, the homemade iced tea only tasted like water. The raspberry lemonade, on the other hand, was really tasty and not too sweet. Unfortunately, the Phillysteak sandwich never saw any salt and there was nothing on the table to season and by the time someone could ask if we got salt, everything would have been cold. The waiting time was also longer than expected, an hour before the main course, but it was also very crowded, which is why you can ignore that.

Service great, offerings good and tasty. Reservations recommended. We'd love to come back.

We were eating there from the sports group. Many women felt a bit chilly in the room. We sat comfortably together in a small separate room and were among ourselves. The food is something different and not home cooking =. yummy. The wine was delicious. Overall there is praise from the athletes, great atmosphere!

We ended up in Fachwerk7 by chance. The two of us were lucky and got a great table by the window without a reservation. It was very busy and we still had very attentive service. I actually just went in with work colleagues to have a beer, but the menu quickly convinced us to order something to eat. I had a Philly cheese steak paired with a Carlsberg it was delicious. Afterwards a gin and tonic, the gin selection is plentiful. Service was very prompt and took good care of our well-being. Very happy again.

Even though it was almost fully booked, we still got a nice table by the window. Rostock was already full on Friday evening and there was also the week of lights. Have already been turned away in 5 restaurants.

We had made a reservation at 7:00 p.m. and wanted to finish eating within an hour because we had an appointment. The online reservation worked. The restaurant was very well filled, the ambience is really very appealing and great. We were brought to our table and sat there for the time being. Nobody brought us the card and the candle at the table wasn't lit either. We received everything upon request (after 15 minutes) In response, we were informed that it was very busy today and that there would be a bit of a traffic jam. The Wienerschnitzel is simply completely excessive for this price and not recommended! The picture in the attachment is intended to show the breading after eating. I want a schnitzel to look golden brown and crispy. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the original schnitzel. It looked as if the schnitzel had a permanent wave. The breading was so wavy… when I criticized the waiter, I was told that it would definitely be better next time… The salmon isn't worth €25 either. As a side dish with the salmon there was only a potato and cucumber mash with four small tomatoes. Summary: if you are traveling in this price segment, then at least the service should work well and the food should also be of good quality. We were able to keep the time slot because we kept asking the staff.

Why can you only give 5 stars? We haven't eaten in Rostock for a while and we haven't been to the Fachwerk7 in 2012 for a while! As a little surprise, I wanted to give my wife a child-free evening with her best friend! The food was delicious, the drinks were perfect and what I want to emphasize is the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff! We haven't experienced something this good in a long time! We were greeted with a glass of champagne and then we went to a beautifully decorated table! The entire staff was very attentive, as mentioned, the food was great and the atmosphere was also very stylish! We'll come back more often now and keep it up!!!!

After work we wanted to go to our date night (the restaurant where we had our first date). In front of the restaurant we were asked whether we could recommend the restaurant since they are not from here and we said yes! As we walked out there was a big thank you. Now to our evening - we reserved a table in advance and noted what the occasion was, and we received an email saying that we could manage it. We were then totally surprised with the table where our first date was and found a really beautiful set table. The service (Phil) is really great! Thank you for that - you made the evening perfect all around. From his manner and the service a 12/10 - from the order to the food we had a really nice evening. So no matter whether you are from outside or live in Rostock, Fachwerk 7 is always worth a visit. We'll definitely be back soon!

Very well styled, in a positive sense, loving, detail-obsessed, sustainable: e.g. clay plaster walls, reused building materials, cozy rooms, a variety of seating options, self-sparkling water, extensive menu. Attentive friendly staff.

We had to wait a little over an hour for our food. Unfortunately, when it finally came, the meat was cold. The restaurant is nice, but that alone is not enough. At least the waiter came to us with a discount.

It took 1.5 hours for the food to arrive. The ribs were cold and the corn cobs were very small. Not recommended.

Great ambience and delicious food. Although I would have expected a little more for the price. But the quality of the Wiener Schnitzel is still amazing. I still see some room for improvement when it comes to service. 😉 It was definitely just a stressful day. But otherwise for a half-empty shop, a very long waiting time. All in all a nice location with delicious food.

Not very child-friendly, but of course that's not a must. It's just good to know if you're thinking about eating there with a baby who's not quite 1 year old. Furthermore, the membrane/silver skin was not removed from the spare ribs and from what we were told, the chef probably did not do this to ALL of the spare ribs. Of course it could only have been an exception, but unfortunately the ribs were not edible because of it. It all took so long and our daughter got cranky (we had gotten a new plate with new ribs but had the same problem) and then my husband had to leave the restaurant still hungry. We didn't have to pay for the spare ribs, which was nice. The rest of the food was very tasty, hence 3 stars.

We spent a lovely evening in a half-timbered restaurant. A well-assorted menu of food and drinks. The food is very good and they cater to allergy sufferers. You sit in small armchairs. The staff are very friendly. If you have several people, please reserve a table. If the weather is good you can sit outside

Surprise of the month, an array of different styles are managed here. We tried many of them and they where made to perfection.

We had reserved a table. The place was fairly busy with a youngish crowd. There was a speedy turn over with the customers. The service was slick and friendly. Not a particularly intimate interior, but quite quirky. The entrée servings were rather large. Thus we shared an entrée as first course. The food was plated well and fairly tasty.

What really doesn't work is the price-performance ratio when it comes to food. Wiener Schnitzel, fried to death after I finally found it covered in plenty of breading. About 3mm "thick", zero seasoning. 29.00!!Euro for about 100g of meat..?The fries were very good. Mom's ribs, super tender, but the silver skin wasn't removed, which meant there was a lot of fat on the side. Too little marinated The burger patty was too thorough and with too little boom (spices). Overall, there were 12 of us, a fun but very expensive evening with a good atmosphere. Please reconsider the price-performance ratio mentioned above and the associated calculation from the chef. We'll come back in a few weeks and see what ends up on the plate. ;-)

Staff who will immediately take you to their hearts and are so likeable that you will do the same. Vegan food that tastes better than the meaty previous versions. And a cocktail menu that leaves nothing to be desired. A jewel in Rostock that would stand out even in the metropolises of the world.

Unfortunately, it is a mystery to us how this price-performance ratio comes about. Everything is definitely way overpriced and you don't even get tasty food for it. The ribs were quite good for my friend. The potato dippers were also good, although you can't go wrong with them. But to be honest, offering the burger for €17.90 is cheeky. It only consists of a patty, a lettuce leaf, a slice of cheese and the brioche bun. The patty was rather dry and tasteless, the sauce that was on there was tasteless, I have no idea what it was, the cheese was also tasteless. I couldn't finish the burger. Instead I had my friend's fries, but there was only a mini portion of mayo, which also tasted a bit strange. Then I ordered a chocolate cake with a liquid center, you can't go wrong with that. It cost a whopping €11.90, but in the end it tasted just like the lava cake from Dominos and looked exactly the same. That doesn't mean it wasn't tasty, but here too the price with the scoop of ice cream isn't justified. Unfortunately, the food has deteriorated enormously compared to before. Luckily the service was quite good.

Great place for drinks! Cocktails are really worthwhile, modern and can compete with good cocktail places in Hamburg or Berlin. For food I'd go somewhere else especially if you are gluten intolerant.

We went here for dinner for my birthday and loved it. The menu is not large, but offers a good selection that everyone will find (vegetarian and vegan alternatives). The real highlight here are the cocktails, which are extremely rare in the area in terms of quality and taste.

Great location for eating and talking to each other, as the acoustics on the upper floor are designed in such a way that you don't have to shout against the background noise, but can comfortably talk, laugh and enjoy while eating and drinking delicious food! We'd love to come back!

Yesterday we had dinner at Fachwerk 7, unfortunately the service was very bad, there were no drinks, the wrong drink was brought, the empty glasses were only cleared away after we asked the waiter, we waited 1.5 hours for our food, which then it was also cold. We then told the waiter this, he said, “I’ll see what we can do.” When the bill came and we pointed out the cold food again, he just shrugged his shoulders and said: “It’s very busy here today chaotic"

I had dinner here with some colleagues yesterday for Women's Day. It was very crowded, so we had to wait a long time (about 1 hour) for our drinks. The food was a long time coming... I ordered a gin and tonic, which (as it turned out in the end when I got the bill) used the wrong gin. The food arrived almost cold for all of our colleagues. My udon bowl was missing half of the ingredients. Unfortunately, the chicken marinated in teriyaki (at least that's what it said on the menu) was missing all of the spices... it can't be said to be marinated at all! When asked about the individual problems, we were assured that “we will come up with something.” When the billing was made, when asked further, they simply said "So many mistakes happened today." No accommodation at all, nothing of the previous “invention”. In addition, I was supposed to pay for a much more expensive drink than the gin and tonic mentioned above... but this was corrected upon request. All in all, the staff seemed very overwhelmed (which was certainly due to the holiday) and everything took a very long time. As already mentioned, the food (including the chocolate lava cake) was cold and not, as you would expect, warm or at least lukewarm... serving a dish with only half of the ingredients listed is, in my opinion, a disgrace. ..

We went to dinner at Fachwerk7 today on the occasion of my birthday. Only because I was very enthusiastic last time did I choose the Fachwerk7, but as soon as we arrived at the table we noticed that the ambience today was very loud. We ordered our drinks together with the food, which was delivered quickly and tasted good. When we wanted to order a starter, we were told there might be a longer wait between the starter and the main course, so we only ordered the main course. After waiting for more than an hour, we asked how long it would take and after another 15 minutes the long-awaited food arrived. The food tasted good, but in our opinion the prices were excessive for the size of the portions and the quality. My wife had ribs, which cost €30 without any side dish. My son wasn't even full of his burger, which cost €20. Ultimately it's a shame to be honest. It was the last time for us because there are enough other restaurants where you get more for your money (quality and quantity). For three main courses and three drinks we ended up eating at a time of 20 minutes, 2 hours.

Everything was really right here. See you next time. We're looking forward to it.

We have enjoyed eating out at longer intervals for years. Today we were there again after 3 months and unfortunately we left without ordering anything. The cocktails were always very good and certainly still are. The ambience is great. But: The menu has completely changed and has been decimated. Unfortunately, the website doesn't match this at all, because you can still see the old dishes here. At first we thought that a side was simply missing, but unfortunately the bowls, chicken dishes and the Wiener Schnitzel are no longer available. It's a shame, we don't like the card anymore.

We wanted to go out for a nice meal on Saturday... Eat, not drink, and that seems to be this establishment's weakness. 2 adults, 1 child. Communication: There are dishes on the website that are not even on the local menu. Anyone who publishes their dishes on the website should also offer them and keep them up to date. So 1. disappointment. Service: There was a waiter on the upper floor responsible for taking orders, even though the house was full. So stressed out waiter who rotated all the time. Eat: starter Avocado quarters in a dough coating on lettuce leaves - cold and because the avocado has little taste of its own, just bland in taste. There was also a slice of lemon, like with a schnitzel. To this day I still don't know what to do with it. Children's court Rice pudding, you can't go wrong with it. Came with the starter. A spoonful of applesauce to top it up wouldn't have been bad either. We then had to get the spoon for the rice pudding ourselves because it was no longer brought, even when we asked. But I also understand the busy waiter here. Main course Since some of the main courses were no longer available, the selection was limited. So all sorts of things for 49.90 for 2 people. Sweet Potato Fries - Served cold and in the smallest wire basket I've ever seen. Looked like the leftover sweet potato bags had been dumped into our menu. Not enough for 2. Gravy - some gravy that didn't go nearly right with anything. Vegetables in batter - cold. Mushrooms and avocado in batter. Uh yes... well we already had avocado in batter as a starter. What's that supposed to mean? Ribs - Cold & chewy. Have you ever eaten cold ribs? Fish - fillet of fish - which fish? I don't know, the waiter didn't have time to explain anything. It wasn't bad, but the portion was more for one person. Warm. Beef fillet(?) - Cold. It was actually very tasty, but there was only enough for two forks per person. Shrimp salad (?) - a mass whose origin could not be identified. Cold. Have you only tried this and it was very sour or already bad? Hands off. The main course for 49.90 is a disgrace. And no, I wasn't brought up in such a way that you immediately return your food in a restaurant because there is somehow a cost of goods on the part of the operator. And I was hungry. In retrospect, I have to say that I haven't experienced something like that for a long time. Conclusion: If you like to get quietly drunk in a good atmosphere and maybe want a small bite to eat, this might be a good place for you. However, you should look for good cuisine in other places. If you are unable to serve adequate food because there are no staff etc., you should simply communicate to the guest that hot food is out. Better than serving something to the guest who then makes their visit their last visit. Furthermore, you can now say that we could have just left, but anyone with a child in a bad mood (that day) (who has already eaten because the rice pudding came with the starter) knows that you won't have another hour on Saturday evening can go on a new restaurant search with this child.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen dort und hatten einen sehr schönen Abend. Sehr gutes Essen und ein sehr aufmerksamer und unterhaltsamer Service. Aus unserer Sicht sind die Essenportionen zu groß.

Super schöne Location, Service top, Getränke mega! Wir haben einen schönen langen gemütlichen Weihnachtsabend bei euch verbringen dürfen. Der Ziegenkäsesalat war lecker, wenn auch die Walnüsse gefehlt haben. Das Wienerschnitzel war sehr gut, das Philly Cheesesteak auch, aber traut euch da mehr zu würzen. Preise noch ok für die jetztige Zeit. Den frittierten Pudding habe ich genossen und obwohl schon satt nix übergelassen! Gerne kommen wir wieder

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, gemütlich und zum Wohlfühlen. Haben auch ohne Reservierung einen Tisch für 4 bekommen. Essen kam zügig und war sehr lecker. Leider waren Burger und Pommes nur lauwarm.

Empfang ist sehr gut, nette Personal. Die Getränke an der Bar waren gut. Leider mussten wir über 2 Stunden auf das Essen warten. Die Portionen waren zwar groß, aber leider wenig davon hat geschmeckt. Wahrscheinlich die Köche waren an dem Abend überfordert. Die Atmosphäre war schon und gemütlich.

Tolle Atmosphäre, sehr nette und freundliche Bedienung. Die Speisekarte ist sehr raffiniert und abwechslungsreich. Die Qualität der Speisen und der Cocktails war 1A. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch.
