Eventlocation Leonhardts in Stuttgart

We were a couple visiting Stuttgart for several days and participated in the Swabian Tower Dinner. The elevator ride (€12.50) was included in the price. A delicious three-course meal was served, and all drinks were included. The service was very friendly, and the view was phenomenal. We would definitely book it again.

Downstairs was absolutely fantastic, very friendly waiter, quick service, and we had a good salad. Upstairs was an absolute disaster. Despite many empty tables, the very unfriendly waitress didn't seat people and made them wait forever. She was incredibly relaxed about it, and I left after 15 minutes. (I've written a separate review about this.)

The ambiance is nice because of the TV tower, which is why we wanted to eat here. The children's schnitzel was okay. The onion roast beef for €35 was a bit small for a portion; as a man, I unfortunately didn't get full for that price. Neither the amount of spaetzle/side dishes nor the small steak itself was particularly satisfying in terms of taste, especially at this price point. It's a shame, because the ambiance is okay.

An absolutely fantastic birthday present that not everyone gets. There were six of us. The atmosphere is amazing and not as cluttered as in other restaurants. Here, the customer is truly king. I didn't find the ordering process entirely straightforward, but it was okay. The value for money is absolutely fantastic. You're asked if you'd like another Weißwurst or bread roll, and the lift access is included. It was great. Thank you!!!

Excellent food with a breathtaking view

I went to the restaurant for dinner with my wife. The three-course meal was good, and the view was fantastic. The service was very attentive. All in all, a lovely evening.

We went to the sundowner dinner at the TV tower. We liked the concept of having a multi-course meal in the evening atmosphere. However, the execution was mostly poor. Atmosphere: At first, the table wasn't decorated as advertised. This didn't bother us too much, but given the rather hefty price tag (and the organizer's corresponding announcement), it's to be expected. The view was spectacular, and the evening atmosphere was fantastic. Service: The service was rather questionable and inappropriate for the event. At a candlelit dinner, I don't expect a waiter to serve me flippantly in a "buddy" manner. The various courses were sometimes poorly explained or not explained at all. There was also no menu. The wine pairing was quite good and informative, if you ignore the rather flippant presentation. Even the rather joking reference to tips or criticism (to keep to yourself) was unworthy of the event. Food: The food was a minor disaster. The soup was cold but flavorful. Nevertheless, it was inedible, as you were constantly chewing on stringy ginger strands. The main course was almost unseasoned and poorly presented. A large piece of chicken sat atop a giant, mushy blob of sweet potato mash. The chicken was dry. The dessert, served in a small glass, was neither visually nor tastefully perfect. The wines were decent. Overall, a nice concept, but poorly executed. I would recommend having a sunset drink and eating somewhere else.

The view is very beautiful, and this tower is impressive. However, the restaurant leaves much to be desired, and the wait times to be seated, served, and paid significantly detract from the daytime experience. After waiting for over 45 minutes, you shouldn't expect any commercial gestures from the service.

Since everything is lumped together here, you have to read very carefully to determine which of the three restaurants each article refers to. __ In the tower basket is the "Panoramacafé" and the "Eventlocation Leonhardts 144 Meter." _ At the bottom of the tower is the "Eventlocation Leonhardts" (0 Meter).

I went to this restaurant yesterday with a friend (we're in our late 20s and late 30s). Unfortunately, our visit turned into a very unpleasant experience. We waited at the entrance for about 10 minutes until someone attended to us. When a server finally arrived, we were immediately informed in a stern tone that, according to internal policy, "younger people" were only seated at high tables – not at the large tables by the window with a view. This statement irritated us, and when we asked about it, we were repeatedly and very firmly told that this was the norm – supposedly even under camera surveillance. The older couple who arrived after us, however, was shown directly to a nice window seat. When we asked to be seated at a regular table, we were treated irritably and rudely. The employee in question was completely unprofessional in her attitude. We were more or less shown the door. For me, this is a clear case of reverse age discrimination. You're judged by your age, not by being a guest. I find this not only disappointing, but simply unacceptable. I expect this behavior to be addressed internally – no guest should be treated this way. We won't be returning. Previous reviews of the service confirm this. I would like to commend the gentlemen at the elevator. They accompanied the guests up and down politely and professionally and greeted each guest politely. I would have liked to speak to the manager that same day, but unfortunately, when I asked, he wasn't available.

Overrated, nothing special unfortunately

Mein Vater wird in seinem Leben nur einmal 88 Jahre. Also wollte er das auch so mit der Familie, die teils weit ( Bayern) angereist ist, feiern. 14 Personen wsten wir und freuten uns auf einen schönen Mittag/ Nachmittag!! Eine nichtssagenden Tischdekoration hat uns empfangen. Der Ablauf der ersten Bestellung von Aperitif & co war sehr unübersichtlich und sehr auch nicht zeitgleich geschehen. Die Mühe des Personals war ganz nett, nur war es so , dass Gerichte nicht so kamen, wie bestellt oder falsch oder mit der falschen Beilage. Das Versprechen vom Kellner aus, es gibt noch Kartoffeln zu der Forelle, wurde nicht erfüllt. Eine grätenfreie Forelle wurde versprochen ( laut Karte , aber es wird nur versucht sich um Nachhinein herauszureden) und war so voller Gräten, dass es keinen Spaß machte, das Gericht zu genießen. Geschmacklich war alles in Ordnung. Nur die auf der Karte aufgeführten Beilagen nicht zu servieren, geht gar nicht. Ebenso Getränke wurden falsch oder garnicht serviert. Der Hammer kam an einem Sonntag Mittag zum Schluss: kein Eis mehr da. Nur ein Stiel Eis vom Kiosk. Aber wir erwachsenen wollten gerne einen Nachtisch , der dem ganzen Fest einen schönen Abschluss gegeben hätte. Jetzt heißt es, es wäre ein Missverständnis gewesen und Kinder werde immer das Eis am Stiel angeboten. Wir Erwachsene wollten den Nachtisch mit Eis genießen So mussten wir ohne diesen und mit einem sehr unguten Gefühl, und teils nicht gestillten Hunger , die Feier verlassen und wo anders einen Eisdielen Betreiber sehr gerne unterstützen. Was wir gerne getan haben. Kreis Reutlingen hat gute Eisdielen. Das ganze hätte ich auch nicht stehen lassen. Mein Vater hat schriftlich mit dem Geschäftsführer Kontakt aufgenommen. Wer noch die alte Kanzlei kennt, weiß, was eigentlich zu erwarten wäre! Die Antworten, die mein Vater bekommen hat, sind nicht mit einem so bekannten Restaurant zu erwarten. Es ist schade, sich im Nachhinein herauszureden, dass man als Chef ja im Urlaub war und so nichts zu dem ganzen richtig beitragen kann. Für uns ist klar, dieses Restaurant hat uns das letzte Mal gesehen. Ich erwarte bei einem solchen Namen und vor allem dem Preis für 14 Personen einen besseren Service und eine Entschuldigung, die den Namen auch verdient.

We just returned from a Saturday Night Highlight Dinner. The view was impressive. The menus and drinks were delicious, and a special thank you to Heike, our table server, who was friendly and attentive and provided us with a wonderful evening. We'd be happy to go back anytime.

I can't recommend the Panorama Café. Initially, the waitress took the orders of latecomers. When I couldn't order a cake without a drink, we left. I've rarely been treated so rudely as a guest.

At first we were disappointed because we thought the restaurant was on the TV tower, not down below. The food was okay, but nothing special for the price. The chicory was too bitter and sour. The service was okay, the waiter didn't really respond to the criticism. Overall it was okay, but wouldn't go there again.

Nice cafe with the most panoramic view. There are free tables without reservations. A great place to watch the sunset with a cup of coffee.

A very rude staff (a full-on gentleman) should not work there. Very stressed and rude gives a restless atmosphere bad at serving badmouths people. Don't even laugh. Great place for a trip, something different. But all four of us are of the opinion that we should make the gentleman aware of his behavior.

The staff was extremely friendly, the service was quick and flawless. The portions were generous, the quality of the food was very good and the prices were fair. The café and the cakes were also great. In my opinion, it's definitely worth a visit - again and again!

We were there on February 8, 2025 for the "sunrise breakfast" at 6:30 a.m. sharp - like everyone else, because it was obviously fully booked. When we got to the top there was only a pitiful remnant of the breakfast buffet but there was a very long queue at the only coffee machine. After the plate wanted to be cleared away directly under the knife, I became clear. Then there was some movement and obviously not everything had actually been exhausted, because the champagne was supposed to be delivered - which we politely declined and we were given a "personal" breakfast - unfortunately completely too late. I prefer to leave the pictures unpublished. With the location you have a special unique selling point that you absolutely destroy with this type of service. I already made an offer on site to help you with the optimization - even if I don't come from the catering industry, and this offer stands.

We were there with a group for an early bird breakfast on Saturday. Everything was perfect, sufficient buffing, great sunrise. Luigi - our waiter - made this breakfast just perfect!

I was there for the Saturday night highlight dinner. With the appropriate reservation, we were able to skip the line and go straight into the restaurant. The view is unique. The 5 course menu was excellent. Also praise for the friendly and attentive service.

Poor waiter, one waiter works the entire cafe while the other waiters all sit and “eat”. We waited about an hour for our order until I lost patience, went to the kitchen and placed the order myself.

More appearance than reality!!!! We were greeted sternly and harshly by a gentleman who took himself VERY seriously and were clothed at one of perhaps 20 free tables!!!!! Hot chocolate was nothing more than lukewarm water with powder and whipped cream! Cappuccino well....we've had much better ones!!! Much tam tam about nothing!!! We don't need it anymore!

Champagne breakfast for 8 including 2 vegans and 1 vegetarian for an anniversary birthday. The table was already beautifully set and very inviting when we arrived. There was a large, fresh and delicious selection, prepared and presented with care and detail. In particular, I would like to point out that the kitchen has made a lot of effort to offer vegetarian and vegan options, contrary to reviews I've read here so far. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. Plus the magnificent, wide view. I can only recommend the champagne breakfast!

Had the early bird breakfast with sunrise. Breakfast selection, manageable but sufficient and of good quality. Ambience nice. The description said there was a buffet from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. However, you should keep in mind that queuing and getting up can take some time. And unfortunately the buffet was no longer refilled shortly before 8:00 a.m. I found that cheeky.

Really very good food. Rooms are nice but not exceptional either. When it comes to service, it really depends on the individual employee. There were two ladies with us - one extremely friendly and attentive, the other slow and uninterested. Would still go here again. The wine list could do with a little more international selection. Württemberg red wines are not for everyone.

The service was subpar. When a restaurant is only half full and you have to wait forever until you can order drinks and then after 30 minutes and repeated requests you still don't have anything to drink is really sad.

Couldn't even get in. Very rude personnel let us wait for 10 minutes without telling us anything. Then asked us how many and told us to wait more. We left and the lady smirkingly just said 'Tschüs'!

A place for special occasions. The tower dinner was perfect, the service was courteous.

What saves the place is obviously the views. For that reason alone I recommend visiting. Otherwise, we waited a long time on the stairs to be served, we ordered an “American coffee” the waiter told us: “I can't serve you something that is not on the menu because we have already had problems with three shots of coffee being ordered. and then they have heart problems.” I find it embarrassing, my mother had to order an espresso, which she finds very strong, because she didn't want to add hot water to a coffee, a crazy, ridiculous thing to do. The restaurant's policies seem absurd to me, it clearly works because of the place where it is, and because you can't go to the bar next door.

I have not met more unpleasant waiters. We were having coffee and strudel and after 20 minutes, they began to order us to leave the table in very unpleasant ways.

Went to the tower for lunch. Some of the staff were very unfriendly, the food was tasteless and lukewarm. We were very happy about it and for 79 euros per person you can expect something. Definitely not worth it.......We were really disappointed 😞 and won't book anything here again. We weren't the only ones dissatisfied, there was dissatisfaction at several tables and the tenor was that the price/performance ratio was NOT right at all. It's a real shame... never again

When we came in we were alone. We were escorted to the table and given the menu straight away. From then on, nothing progressed. Everyone who came after us was served. After 20 minutes of waiting, we left. Apparently there was a personal problem with us. Maybe we looked penniless🤷🏼‍♂️

The price/performance ratio for the food is simply not right, but the really big argument against the place is the incredibly unfriendly waiter, we were there today and really horrified by such behavior and his treatment of guests, he simply ignored us for 15 minutes and then we went I also felt that he was treated very rudely and inattentively, he was not only actively unfriendly to us but also spoke to the other guests in a way that I had previously experienced I had never experienced happiness like this before.

We were really looking forward to going to the cafe. However, you then stand in front of the barrier tape because you are shown your place. However, no one comes! Employees are constantly walking past and you wait without any information. A quick response would be enough to know whether it is possible or not, but you are simply ignored. There were still a few places available and it wouldn't have been a big problem to get a table there. If you decide to allocate the tables yourself, you should do so or at least communicate why there are waiting times. We're not talking about 5 minutes here, but 20 minutes of pure ignoring in a half-full café. Once and never again. The service definitely failed at this point!

Ich war mit fünf Freundinnen zum Frühstück auf dem Fernsehturm. Es war ein wunderbarer Vormittag mit genügend Essen und Trinken. Wir wurden von Frau Heike Seidel außer ordentlich freundlich und liebevoll bedient. Die ganze Atomsphäre, der tolle Ausblick , das Frühstück und Frau Seidel haben zu einem entspannten Vormittag beigetragen. Überhaupt war das gesamte Personal, vom Fahrstuhlführer bis zum Kassenpersonal überaus freundlich ! DANKE, ich werde sie weiterempfehlen.

We redeemed a voucher for the champagne breakfast this week. Everything was very nicely prepared and delicious. We would particularly like to mention the friendly, extremely attentive service staff KATHRIN. She made the stay very pleasant and is extremely hard-working and maintains her calm and friendliness even in turbulent phases. Your employer can be proud to have such a great employee.

The price of €18.90 is far too high for two spinach dumplings with some sauce and mushrooms. I didn't get full and it wasn't particularly good either. However, the food was beautifully prepared and served.

No more shine of old days! 10,15 years ago one of the top addresses in Stgt. Now only mass processing. Eating can actually be compared to a canteen. In my opinion, a canteen is not a restaurant but simply remains a canteen. It's a shame that there isn't anything better for the television tower

I would prefer not to give a star. I ordered the Sillenbucher breakfast. An absolute no-go was the burnt bread basket with poor quality rolls. Then came the crowning glory, the breakfast plate. Lots of finished products such as: B. stuffed peppers with cream cheese, inedible, totally tasteless dips and no fresh fruit. The whole thing was topped off with a highly stressed waiter. Here cutlery fell to the floor and was skilfully dragged with the foot into the kitchen. All in all, only the view was the highlight and the rest was a horror for the palate. The concept should urgently be revised before you take the money out of our pockets as end consumers.

The following should be noted about breakfast in the Panorama Café: 1. The view is great! 2. You cannot reserve in the normal way (only with a voucher). So it's a lottery game as to whether you get a place to eat and therefore breakfast. 3. We had breakfast for 2 people for €43(!). I have never had such a carelessly prepared breakfast and certainly not at this impressive price. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture for documentation because it wasn't worth it. The service was friendly! 4. If the condition of the toilet represents Stuttgart's landmark, then GOOD NIGHT!

Außer der tollen Aussicht war es nichts☹️ Frühstück pro Person für 69 €, da hatten wir was anderes erwartet zum runden Geburtstag. Aufgebackene Brötchen, abgepackte Wurst, bisschen Honig Marmelade, 1 Ei, bisschen Obst im kleinen Glas, Orangensaft und Café. Ambiente ist alt und ungemütlich, keine Tischdecken, keine Blumen. Unfreundliches und ungepflegtes Personal 😚 Und in den Toiletten roch es stark nach Urin, das geht gar nicht. Nie wieder werden wir das Restaurant besuchen. Leider nicht zum empfehlen.

Tomamos nuestro postre: cortado y un tarta de chocolate. Absolutamente extraordinario todo. El ambiente es agradable y aunque tuvimos que esperar un poco, la espera valió la pena 100%. Personal ciertamente amable y aunque se equivocaron en la comanda, todo estaba riquísimo. Higiene bastante buena y la estética algo mejorable pero aceptable, pues las vistas lo compensan todo.

Good food but a little expensive, 35 euros on average per person

We were in the tower for the menu. Very nice, attentive service, delicious food and the view is simply priceless. My various food intolerances were easily addressed and I was always given very tasty alternatives. The ambience took some getting used to for me, but it's the TV tower and not a restaurant. However, it didn't dampen the mood. If you want to treat yourself to something special - it's worth it!

Leider eine Katastrophe, das Personal war absolut überfordert, auf unseren Kaffee haben wir ne Stunde gewartet, jeder hatte genau ein kleines Brötchen und ein Croissant, durften zwar nachbestellen, dann gab es noch über 1 Stunde nochmal ein kleines Brötchen für jeden! Leider absolut nicht empfehlenswert für den Preis!

Wir durften ein Sektfrühstück genießen... Es war herrlich und sehr lecker. Gerne mal wieder. Die Aussicht da oben ist atemberaubend schön...

Das „All in One Glücksmenü“ in vegetarisch für zwei Personen für gesamt 140€ Als Vorspeise Spargelcremesuppe, in der wir dann am Boden der Schüssel dicke Fischstücke gefunden haben. Absolutes No Go, vor allem wenn man explizit vegetarisch bestellt. Daraufhin von der Servicekraft nichtmal eine Entschuldigung. Zur Hauptspeise wieder Spargel, diesmal in Form von Risotto - für ein Menü dieser Art finde ich es falsch gewählt. Zu einfach, zu schlicht, zu schwer. Dazu fett mit Parmesan eingekocht, der aufgrund von Lab (Kalbsmagen) auch nicht vegetarisch ist. Das hab ich dann nichtmal mehr reklamiert, denn das Essen wurde serviert mit „Diesmal auch wirklich vegetarisch haha“. Der Nachtisch war sehr gewagt und auch nicht jedermanns Sache, aber in Ordnung. Ich war alles in allem überhaupt nicht zufrieden und würde das Restaurant nach meinem Besuch auch nicht weiterempfehlen. Hier haben für mich Küche und Service leider nicht gestimmt. // Bewertet nach Preis-Leistung. Ich habe auch eine Mail verfasst um meine Erfahrungen weiterzuleiten. Finde Feedback für Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten immer wichtig. Bisher noch keine Rückmeldung, ich warte mal ab. Für das Restaurant hoffe ich, meine konstruktive Kritik anzunehmen, denn das Potenzial ist da.

We had reserved for the Swabian Tower Dinner, a gift voucher. A lovely experience that we can happily recommend. Before eating we were able to enjoy the wonderful panoramic view from the television tower. But even the elevator ride with the friendly elevator operator was an experience. In the restaurant we were served very friendly and attentively. The food was home-style Swabian. For starters there was a delicious soup, main course: roast veal with spaetzle and salad and for dessert a plate with hazelnut brownie, vanilla ice cream, berries and orange. We had a lovely evening!

We went to the TV tower for Sunday brunch. It was a small birthday group. Unfortunately, the staff was unmotivated and taciturn, not even a “congratulations”. The buffet wasn't refilled either. Disappointing for an event location.

The service was very good, I ordered an Apfelschorle ( 400ml for 4,70€ ) and enjoyed it, I will definitely go back to eat it one day!!! One of the best view in the city!!!!

Wir hatten Gutscheine für das Weintasting auf dem Turm im Wert von 2 x 69 Euro, diese wurden kurz voe Weihnachten 2023 erworben und wir waren am 25.04.24 dort. Das angekündigte 6 - Gang Fingerfood waren kleine Schälchen etwsa größer als ein Teelichthalter mit manchmal schlecht zu definierender grauen Masse. Das ist allerdings Geschmacksache. Als das Brot zu Ende war, (pro Person 3 Würfel 2 x 2 cm) wurden wir belehrt dass wir hier nicht beim Tauben füttern sind. Die Vorstellung der Weine war OK wenn man Schulmeister und Abfragen mag. (Ich mochte das nicht). Die Krönung war aber, dass wir am Ende aufgefordert wurden 10 Euro pro Person nachzuzahlen, weil das Tasting seit Januar für 79 Euro verkauft wird. Wir waren einfach zu perplex um eine Quittung zu verlangen. Fazit: Das darf man nicht verschenken - nicht empfehlenswert weil das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis absolut unterirdisch ist.

Wir haben das Silvester Event 2023/24 besucht und waren leider sehr enttäuscht. Für den Kartenpreis von 100,- pro Person wurden die Erwartungen leider nicht getroffen. Es fehlte jegliche Dekoration welche darauf schließen konnte, dass wir eine Silvester Party hatten, für Getränke musste man Ewigkeiten anstehen, das es nur eine Bar gab. Der Mitternachtssnack wurde mit drei herzlos angerichteten Suppen im Nebenraum serviert. Auch die Auffahrt auf den Fernsehturm war chaotisch. Selbst um 23:30 Uhr konnte es sein, dass man nicht rechtzeitig oben war, da nur ein Aufzug für die ganzen Gäste zur Verfügung stand. Ebenso waren oben keine Getränke erlaubt und es lief kein Countdown, Musik oder ähnliches. Garderoben waren auch keine Vorhanden, was ein wirkliches Jacken-Chaos nach sich zog und man selbst schauen musste wohin damit. Der Dj war das einzig gute an dem Abend. Leider nicht zu empfehlen und für eine Eventlocation eine sehr fragwürdige Veranstaltung.

Were there for a family celebration, the service was good and friendly. Food came in a reasonable time frame and was very tasty, especially it was freshly cooked and no convenience. My veal schnitzel, for example, was very tender, and the trout was also very tasty. Overall, highly recommended.

The taste of the food was very good, but the portions were much too small and very overpriced I think the portion of cheese spaetzle 17.90 without salad is definitely too expensive even for the TV tower, especially since it was only a handful and my daughter-in-law left hungry. The remaining portions also left something to be desired. The waitress was extremely nice. Afterwards we all went to the ice cream parlor to curb our hunger a bit. Too bad

Great breakfast, great view, but a rude waitress (Robert) who complains about the tip and talks stupidly at the customer. With such behavior a minus tip would have been appropriate.

Great food, great service and a great view of Stuttgart and the surrounding area

Highest café in Stuttgart: You can pay for the unique location in addition to the entrance fee (lift). Service tries hard but can't keep up. 20 minutes between the first dish and subsequent dishes says it all. The place urgently needs a refresh - it looks pretty run down! The SWR music is intrusively present and not to everyone's taste. The glasses for the drinks are probably the same age as the honorable tower itself. You can treat yourself to that - but dear SWR: there is an urgent need for action!

Ich weiß ja nicht wie das Geschäftsinteresse von diesem Laden ist aber das ständig der Anrufbeantworter an ist auch während den Geschäftszeiten das geht gar nicht. Man soll eine Email schreiben und diese würde innerhalb von 24 Stunden beantwortet das stimmt so nicht ich warte schon seit 3 Tagen auf eine Antwort.

Great event Sunday lunch Absolute recommendation

We had lunch today with our two children. The food was delicious and the service was super friendly. Finally, we unfortunately dropped a glass. I underestimated that it also dripped onto the floor. As we were about to leave and the waitress said goodbye, I noticed that the floor was also wet. It was totally uncomfortable for me, but with a “oops, there must have been a little accident,” things were taken care of and we were super happy. Thanks for the nice day & sorry for the mishap

We were served very quickly and courteously. We can't rate the food itself (we didn't eat anything), but the cappuccino was very good and very nicely decorated.

Coffee, cappuccino and latte machiato are excellent.

If you definitely visit, it's worth it
