Nice restaurant with a direct view of the opencast mine. Restaurant very modern. The food was delicious. The waitress even brought us a new treasure chest to pick up from the kiddy menu.

The spritzers are great, especially the mint spritzer was a delight. The currywurst and the schnitzel with fries were super tasty. Very tasty with delicious crispy fries. The service was friendly and quick. The coffee was a pleasure. The ambience was good, despite the crowd it wasn't loud. Only the Kaiserschmarrn was so-so (ready from the can).

Unfortunately very bad service! After 20 minutes in the store and apparently no one was able to book anything into the system. Were other customers preferred. There is a sign in the store that says you can get a soft drink with a good Google rating! I would be happy to give one to your staff and explain to you how to treat customers.

Waited forever for the drinks, 3 service staff and 4 occupied tables (almost empty). Food was terrible (tarte flambée Greco = touch of nothing and dusty dry, except for the measly topping. Unfortunately it was also cold.). The accompanying chicken dish was good.

Catastrophe! Were there for Oktoberfest. The live music filled the hall empty and the service was so good that we had to point out to serve the neighboring table... Food was okay, but it won't last long... we got the starter with the main course... The toilets didn't seem cleaned for days...

Very nice atmosphere, you can relax under the parasols even on a warm day. I've been there several times for coffee (stay away from iced coffee, it's no good). The food at the surrounding tables also looked good. The sign at the entrance telling you to wait there seems a bit unnecessary as you sometimes stand there for a long time waiting for the staff who are busy with other things. Overall, it seems as if the staffing is quite limited. The waitresses are really very friendly, but unfortunately the waiting times are rather underground. In my opinion, there is still clearly room for improvement here.

The takeaway cappuccino was a pleasure to drink

The staff is very nice, the restaurant is modern, unfortunately the immediate area is very dirty and the playground was almost completely cordoned off. Unfortunately, the food was a complete failure for me. The chicken strips were burnt black and could hardly be distinguished from brown coal. The whole stalk was in my salad and the grated cheese was folded in in thick clumps. The court should never have gone out like that. The dishes are all very simple and quick to make, and the dressing didn't seem handmade to me either, which is why these deficiencies are all the more serious.

We were with you on June 22nd, 24 and what can I say?! It was great again. Due to the changing weather, not all tables outside could be occupied, but one of the nice service staff opened up a group table for us. We were also immediately brought a water bowl for our dogs. Everyone was incredibly friendly again, the food was again incredibly tasty and served quickly. We were also lucky that an open-air event was taking place next door. So we had everything our hearts desired.

We were pleasantly surprised. Nice and above all very fast service. Reasonable prices and sufficient portions. It was very delicious.

A disaster, waiting 15 minutes before you could order drinks, then waiting again until you could order food and then again until the food came. Total waiting time 1 hour. And the waitress didn't come to the table. Like so many people, we ran after the waitress, otherwise we would have waited longer.

The food was good, but we had to wait a long time to be served and there were several mix-ups, such as ketchup instead of mayo, you didn't know which table the food was coming to. Everything was very disorganized and the food didn't taste good anymore. Some of the guests left on their own because there was no service.

Unfortunately, the staff is totally understaffed. Accordingly, the service was unfortunately very poor. We waited 15 minutes until someone noticed us and first covered the dishes from the previous guests. We then waited another 20 minutes for the rhubarb spritzer, which was actually just sparkling water, and another 40 minutes for the food. The service is visibly overwhelmed and completely disorganized/unstructured. Unfortunately the tarte flambée for 11 euros was a disappointment. Hardly any crème fraîche and 2 olives and half a cherry tomato on each cut piece. If I hadn't been hungry after all the waiting, I would have returned the tarte flambée. It's better to pack a few sandwiches and enjoy the view without visiting the restaurant. A pity !

The food was excellent - Flammkuchen were really the best things about this place. However, the service by the kitchen was horrible. Forgetting orders, waiting 2 hours for food, confused and unprofessional behavior all around. Maybe it’s new? Maybe it’s because it’s a Sunday? I’m not certain of the reasons, but it’s doesn’t really matter. I would not come again, even for the Flammkuchen. I would recommend for children though - they are running around all over the place.

Waited a long time for the food... Then the kicker...Probably the smallest schnitzel I've ever eaten. A children's plate is still large... A large schnitzel was ordered and two schnitzels were brought, half the size of a beer mat. A maximum of 150 grams of meat. Well you don't have to go there anymore!!!

First of all, the purpose of the visit is important. It looked very nice outside, great view. You can order cocktails and the selection of spritzers is extensive. If you're stopping by and sitting down with a cold drink, this is the place to be. I would probably give it 5 stars. However, we went to the restaurant for lunch. This is nice and bright, the furnishings are modern and rather simple. How you like it is a matter of taste. What I noticed were several leftover pieces of food and some smaller pieces of paper on the floor. Nothing bad, even normal after a big group. But at lunchtime shortly after opening with less than 15 guests, I can't honestly say it's "clean and well-kept". The service was consistently friendly. The speed and attention reserved. I had to actively go to the bar to pay. Again, not bad, but not the attribute “attentive” either. Now we come to the crux of the matter: the food. Problem 1: The first desired dish didn't exist. This can always happen with a fresh lunch menu, but that doesn't happen here. I think that this should be available for standard schnitzel, burgers, currywurst and tarte flambée. For starters, I fell into the “homemade” trap. Instead of a nice home-baked bread, which I (honestly, stupidly) hoped for, there were a few small cut slices of a bread, probably baguette with a touch of garlic butter. We also received a salad from which I first had to fish out brown leaves. I do this at home too, but before serving and I expect this to happen beforehand in the restaurant. I can only rate the starter for €6.10 negatively. Afterwards we waited a very long time for the main course. In between, the waiter came and said: “Four more minutes.” At least some information, although not an apology. It seemed longer, but I didn't look at the clock. All I can say is that we were home about 2 hours after arrival (including the return journey). I find that to be a lot of time for a simple lunch. The main course was tarte flambée. With toppings in the middle, it was tasty. However, this area was very small. On the outside, an area of ​​over 1cm on each side didn't even show any cream or anything like that, just dough. Then there was another 2-3 cm area with cream, but without any coating. So a maximum of 70% of the whole thing was covered with any kind of toppings. I then put the garnish on the tarte flambée so that I didn't just eat the dough. I don't understand that. If you add a “free” garnish, you could have cut it and spread it on the tarte flambée. Conclusion: It could have been delicious. The topping made it worse than tarte flambée, which I prepare at home using ready-made plates. Let's move on to the substitute dish currywurst. That was actually the highlight, a normal currywurst, no better or worse than the standard. The fries were good, better than the average diner. The whole thing was very little. Does the substitute currywurst bring the whole meal up to an average 3 star rating? Questionable. If I now take into account the price-performance ratio, definitely not. The portions were below average in size, but by no means cheap. We paid just under 40 euros with two people, which would basically be fine. But we were so hungry that we ordered pizza 3 hours later. That's not what I want at a lunch like this. That was disappointing, we won't be going to the restaurant again. That's why I can, in good conscience, give the restaurant visit no more than 2.5 stars overall.

Overall very nice and the food was good. The portions are quite small for the money, but the taste is very good. Two orders came incorrectly and were exchanged without any problems. Kaiserschmarrn was cold and then warmed up in the microwave. The staff was very friendly and the dog was offered water without asking.

Bearded waiter with a tattoo around his wrist was extremely aggressive, slammed the cards on the table, shouted at his colleagues and kicked boxes around. Definitely won't go back.

The cakes we had were almost inedible, the poppy seed cake was far too dry and the cherry cake tasted very artificial and almost moldy. In addition, the atmosphere is not particularly inviting. Whoever had the idea to make this misogynistic joke was pretty out of step with the times.

Coffee was good, latte ok too. Cocoa not recommended. Unfortunately it was mixed with water instead of milk.

So we ate there with 30 people on Christmas Day and were very disappointed, more than disappointed, food cold, side dishes came much later than the main course and the service was absolutely overwhelmed, overall very very disappointed 😞 would not recommend it

Exorbitant price for significantly too little on the plate with goose leg okay but too dry with a small handful of potatoes and some Brussels sprouts. Despite the notice, there were no changes or additions. Garlic bread was whole wheat baguette with a hint of garlic butter. A no go! Salad not quite fresh anymore! I'm leaving there hungry. Toilet was clean. Service was friendly, showed understanding for concerns, but wasn't motivated enough to change anything. Rather reported other complaints from other guests. Sorry, the only thing worth it here is the view. The quality of the food and price performance urgently needs to improve!

Das Forum ist einfach ein viereckiger Betonkasten. Innen reine Betonwände und eine offene Halle. Einfach eigenwillig, für mich zu essen ehr ungemütlich. Ich würde hier ehr einen Techno Club installieren. Das Essen war gut, im Rahmen einer Weihnachtsfeier mit festem Menue. Service sehr gut. Schnell und unkompliziert. Aber der Parkplatz ist eine Katastrophe. Schlecht beleuchtet, matschig und der Weg zum Lokal Abends völlig im Dunkeln. Ich muss da nicht wieder hin........

Zum Essen kann ich leider nichts sagen, dazu kam es nicht weil man uns -trotzdem an einem Samstagabend nur 1 Tisch besetzt war- nicht beachtete, grüßte etc. Die Location ist sehr nett.

Wir haben hier mit 14 Personen sehr lecker zu Mittag gegessen. Der Kontakt zur Reservierung und Vorbestellung war nett und unkompliziert, und das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch der Service war flott und zuvorkommend.

Nachmittags um 14:00 Uhr nur noch ein Stück Kuchen vorhanden. Sehr dürftig!!! Wir waren zu zweit.

Tagebau mit Aussicht, leider konnten wir auch nach 30min warten, weder ein Getränk noch Essen bestellen. Ansonsten die Stoffstühle in der Mitte sind dreckig und fleckig. Das ist schon ekelig 🤢

We kwamen via Google hier terecht als tussenstop. Gaaf uitzicht. Vriendelijke bediening, prima eten. Grote speeltuin erbij waar de kids lekker konden spelen. Een aanrader! Ook heerlijk om buiten te zitten.

Leider von Service her nicht zu empfehlen. Wir mussten ca. 15 Min warten, bis man uns dann „auf einmal“ gesehen hat und uns die Karten gebracht hat. Weitere 10 Min hat es gedauert, bis dann jemand die Bestellungen aufgenommen hat. Es war enorm viel Personal anwesend. Wir haben dann nur etwas getrunken, um weitere Enttäuschungen zu vermeiden.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 26 Personen dort. Obwohl wir angemeldet waren, konnte das überforderte Personal den Service nicht leisten. Es hat 1 Stunde gedauert, bis die letzten der Gruppe das bestellte Getränk erhalten hatte. Von einem Essen haben wir dann frustiert abgesehen. Nie wieder!

Portionen waren gut. Man wurde gut satt. Aber die Nudeln waren schon etwas zu weich und das nackensteak war teils fast roh und teils durch. Preis/Leistung absolut unterirdisch

Hier gab es mal wirklich tolle Schnitzel, heute nur noch Convinience und kleine Portion, aber das ist nicht das Schlimmste. Für 15 Uhr für 11 Personen reserviert, zumindest das hat geklappt, aber dafür haben wir fast 1,5 Stunden auf das Essen gewartet, während Leute die nach uns gekommen sind Ruck Zuck ihr Essen hatten, nur wir immer noch nicht. Fleisch und Pommes kamen deutlich zeitversetzt, Majo und Ketchup, als die Pommes schon fast gegessen waren und der Salat kam erst nach Aufforderung mit dem falschen Dressing. Das war jetzt definitiv das letzte Mal für mich, da beim letzten Mal auch schon nicht alles rund lief. Sehr schade!

20 min nach Ankunft im Terra Nova hatten wir dann endlich 2 Getränke (Weizen und Malzbier). Diese hatten Zimmertemperatur. Die Bedienung sagte sie hätten ein Problem mit der Kühlung. Hätte man auch direkt sagen können.

Unterirdischenr Service, sehr lange Wartezeiten, da zu wenig Personal zur Verfügung steht und dieses restlos überfordert ist und scheinbar noch lernt. Außerdem arbeitet dort ein bärtiger, junger Mann mit schlechten Deutschkenntnissen, der über Kundenwünsche lacht und das Wort Service noch nie gehört hat. Absolut unverschämt. Nie wieder!

Schöner ort zum kaffee trinken oder essen

Będąc w podróży zatrzymaliśmy się na odpoczynek w okolicy następnie wybraliśmy się na spacer. Widząc ludzi w środku po mimo czasu zamknięcia chciałem zapytać czy mógłbym kupić szklankę wody ponieważ narzeczonej było słabo. Zamiast normalnej reakcji lub zignorowania nas zostaliśmy wyśmiani oraz w dość ordynarny sposób pożegnani. Rozumiem że zamknięte ale wyśmiewanie się z nas stojących za drzwiami oraz picie wódki na ex i machanie przed nami coca-cola to przesada ... W pierwszym napotkanym domu dostaliśmy butelkę wody i pomoc...

Die Speisen sind solide. Der Service läuft über viele Aushilfen. Sie sind bemüht, aber es läuft teilweise etwas chaotisch.

Leider arbeitet hier viel zu wenig Personal um den Kunden gerecht zu werden. Bei zwei Besuchen in kürzester Zeit mussten wir über zwanzig Minuten auf Getränke warten, Essen hätte über eine Stunde gedauert. Eigentlich ein schöner Ort für einen Stop, wir werden uns allerdings gut überlegen ob wir nochmal wiederkommen.

Tolle Location. Freundlicher schneller Service. Sehr hundefreundlich! Sehr zu empfehlen.

Außenbereich könnte sauberer sein

Sensationell schlecht! Am Samstag war ich mit meinen Eltern zum stärken (nach einer schönen Runde Minigolf) bei der event Gastronomie eingekehrt. Die Getränke die wir recht schnell bestellten kamen sehr schnell an den Tisch, nur auf das Essen mussten wir lange warten, obwohl noch nicht einmal die Hälfte der Tische belegt waren. Neben uns war ein Tisch frei. Dieser wurde während wir auf unser Essen warteten von einem Paar besetzt welches noch vor uns ihr essen bekamen, als ich an der Bar (nach ca. 1 Std.) nachfragte, wo denn unser Essen bleiben würde, eilte die Bedienung direkt in die Küche um nach zu sehen, allerdings war die Bardame nicht davon begeistert und meinte ich solle mich doch gedulden und Verständnis dafür aufbringen. Irgendwo ist mein Verständnis aber auch mal vorbei, vor allem wenn man selber aus der Gastronomie kommt und sieht wie unkoordiniert die Angestellten dort arbeiten. FAZIT: Das war mein erster, einziger und letzter Besuch in dieser Lokalität. Sie sollten über eine namens Änderung nachdenken. Survivalgastronomie trifft es da eher. Ich rate dringend von einem Besuch ab.

Bedienung war sehr freundlich, aber man musste unglaublich lange auf alles warten. Ich hörte am Nebentisch, dass Essen eine Stunde mindestens dauern wird, bis es am Platz ankommt.

Essen war, nachdem es dann mal da war, sehr lecker. Bedienung freundlich, aber sehr lange Wartezeiten. Waren dort essen, weil wir Minigolf gespielt haben. Ambiente durchschnittlich, Aussicht auf den Tagebau ist nicht so unser Ding, aber die Geschmäcker sind ja verschieden.

Essen gut und lecker. Preise in Ordnung. Es war bis auf den letzten Platz ausgebucht heute. Sehr moderne Location. Wenn es voll ist, so wie heute, ist das Personal viel zu langsam und etwas verpeilt. Man wollte uns Speisen abrechnen, die wir zwar bestellt, aber nie erhalten haben. Das fand ich nicht gut. Andere Gäste haben teilweise 30 Minuten auf Getränke gewartet.

Sehr nettes Lokal, direkt am Aussichtspunkt auf den Tagebau. Es war sehr gut besucht, die Wartezeit war aber völlig im Ordnung. Das Essen war lecker.

Sehr komischer Laden. Service war echt mies, arbeite selber in der Gastro und sowas kann man sich nicht leisten. Ihr solltet auf ein volles Haus und jeder isst und trinkt vorbereitet sein. Das war nicht mal der Fall und ihr habt es nicht hinbekommen. Es gibt keine Erfahrung unter den KellnerInnen und das Essen dauerte so lange. Zwar mit einer Ankündigung, die sehr genervt und pampig gesagt wurde, dauerte es wirklich eine Stunde. Die Location ist ganz cool, aber der Laden war echt komisch. Würde jetzt nicht noch mal hin. Sry
