An ideal and popular place to eat or drink after a bike tour on the Enz. The ambience right on the Enz invites you to sit outside. Often very well attended, especially the outdoor area when the weather is good. The food is always excellent and the staff are very friendly. You can tell that the dishes are cooked and prepared with care. Large selection of creative dishes, everyone will find something ;)

One of the most beautiful and modern restaurants in the area. The menu is very varied. For families with children, the beautiful playground right next to the restaurant is a very special highlight. We will always come back.

Unfortunately not recommended at all. And why not? My only task here was to pick up a voucher, which, according to an employee, is limited by management to a period of validity of just one year. From an economic point of view, it is certainly very lucrative for the operator, but completely disappointing for the customers. We also just discovered that our voucher, which we received as a gift just over a year ago, has expired three months ago. Furthermore, before the purchase, no one was informed about the validity period, which deviates from the statutory period. Unfortunately, there is a lack of any customer orientation here. However, I had the best experience of my visit right at the beginning. I was greeted by a completely unfriendly barman with the words "what do you want" after which he got caught up in a discussion with a waiter about some table numbers. Overall, the staff seemed very overwhelmed (even though there were a lot of them and not even half of the seats were occupied) and the woman who gave me the voucher was unfortunately unable to operate the cash register. Conclusion: Definitely a beautifully located restaurant but unfortunately the staff lacks customer focus and expertise.

Was there for the third time now. Last time, after a nice walk, we sat down at an assigned beer garden table. Unfortunately after a really long 25 minutes there was no service. Even though she knew we were sitting there. Even waved and no response. Waited another 10 minutes and finally we got up and left. Maybe it was because there was a lot going on. But if you don't get served or noticed at all, that's just stupid. Otherwise I was always satisfied. Too bad...

A special experience in a great place.

Nice location on the former garden show site. Large playground right next to it. Furnishings are modern and comfortable inside, nice outside too. Team nice, attentive and hardworking. All dishes delicious and creative. I really enjoy coming for breakfast and I really enjoy my stay there!

Stopped here on a bike tour. Great concept and atmosphere, it shouldn't be worth mentioning that it's an inclusive establishment, it should be normal everywhere! Thank you for the lovely stay!

Yesterday I fell on my bike not far away. Although there was enough space on the terrace, we weren't allowed to sit. If I asked if I wanted something to drink because I wasn't feeling well, the answer would be no, we didn't make a reservation. This could also be described as a failure to provide assistance. I was then picked up from there by ambulance because my leg was broken. Now we have to operate. This is kindness at its best. As an owner, I would question whether this is desired.

Bright and harmonious ambience. Very tasty and inexpensive food. Exciting drinks menu (wine + schnapps, no run-of-the-mill). Very friendly service. Despite the full house (including the terrace), food and drink arrived quickly. We'll definitely be back!

Recommended. It's been a long time since I've had roast pork roast as good as this one. Service was very good. Not cheap but reasonable. The drinks like apple spritzer were a bit thin. The cleanliness of the toilet could still be improved.

After the first few visits to the EssEnz restaurant, picturesquely located on the Enz, when planning a marathon hike to Mühlacker, it was clear: everything fits here! After a 42 km group hike, the stop is always the final highlight of the day. In this respect, appropriate preparation was necessary. Here the manager, Ms. Barth, proved to be a competent, experienced and reliable contact person. The “small” menu sent before the appointment was rather large, very creative and offered something for every taste, including various vegan dishes. Communication on the hiking day worked perfectly. When we arrived with 34 hikers after the tour in the attractively designed ambience of the EssEnz, things couldn't have gone better. We were warmly welcomed by Mr. Veton Toplica. The quickly prepared, excellent food and the friendly and perfect service really left nothing to be desired. The group's praise was correspondingly high, and I am happy to pass it on - as a representative - on this path. Many thanks to the EssEnz team for the great, all-round, first-class final stop!

Incredibly beautiful restaurant. Very attractively furnished. Service was extremely friendly and accommodating. Food extremely tasty, large portions that fill your eyes AND your stomach!!! The fact that it is a bit pricey makes up for the quality. Everything really fresh and deliciously prepared. Here you can feel the love for the job, whether it's purchasing the products, cooking and presenting them or serving/pampering the guests! The only thing I find really terrible is. ...: that I only discovered this enchanting restaurant NOW! 🤷‍♀️!!! But I will come back more often in the future. Please please never let the fun and love of what you do be taken away from you. Keep it up! Thanks!

We laughed our heads off. It's nice that you have such an eloquent sense of humor. 👍🏻 We'd love to come back! Tastes very good. Very friendly staff. I go there regularly, at least twice a month.

After the restart under new management, we were curious to see whether the offering had improved. Unfortunately we were disappointed! Lunch for over 9 euros brought a handful of spaghetti, which you left the table hungry for. Likewise the burger, which was too small for 13.50 euros and only came with a mini portion of fries as a side dish. Drink prices are also too expensive. Corona or not - it won't work! Now the restaurant wants Google to delete the bad review and says we were never guests. Instead of calling your guests liars, improve your food and service!

Wir waren das erste Mal da und kommen garantiert wieder! Freundliche Bedienung, gutes Essen, gute Portionen. Leider ist die Speisekarte im Internet nicht ganz aktuell und beim getrennt Zahlen wäre es schön, wenn nichts übrig bleibt, nachdem jeder gesagt hat, was er hatte, aber der Gesamteindruck war absolut positiv! Sehr gerne wieder.

Sehr gutes Essen, das Personal war sehr freundlich und auch das Ambiente war schön und schlicht. Auch die Vegetarischen Alternativen waren kreativ und lecker!

Nettes schönes Ambiente, Bedienungen sind sehr emsig, teilweise unkoordiniert, aber wenn man sich auf das EssEnz einlässt, weiß man als Besucher, dass man es mit Menschen mit Handicap zu tun hat. Unglaublich schön angerichtet und super lecker. Das Tagesessen Braten mit Knödel und Salat extrem lecker. Ich habe mir noch Käsespätzle von meiner Enkelin stinitzt auch sehr lecker. Vom Burger meiner Tochter hab ich nichts bekommen der hat ihr zu gut geschmeckt. Das ganze Lokal ist blitzsauber. Wir dachten es wäre neu eröffnet. Es wurde sehr aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich nach unseren Wünschen gefragt. Respekt das hatte ich in Deutschland schon lange nicht mehr so gut erlebt. Vielen herzlichen Dank an das ganze Team und in die Küche einen Stern. Klasse wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Das Restaurant wird von der Lebenshilfe bewirtet, das funktioniert sehr gut. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, es gibt mehr als das typische Einerlei und immer ein paar neue gute Ideen. Perfekt für Radfahrer an der Enz.

Man sitzt hier schön, direkt am Fluss. Der Service könnte besser organisiert werden. Ich habe lange auf jemanden gewartet, der die Bestellung aufnimmt. Das Personal ist aber sehr, sehr nett. Leckere Speisen und Kuchenauswahl.

Essen war sehr gut. Bedienung sehr, sehr freundlich. Nur Musik hat mich persönlich ein bisschen gestört, weil man bei unterhalten wegen lauter Musik uns gegenseitig schlecht gehört haben (wir waren größere Gruppe). Alles andere ist gut. Ich kann es weiterempfehlen ;)

Trotz erschwerter Bedingungen durch den gleichzeitig stattfindenden Enztallauf hatten wir eine ganz tolle Einschulungsfeier im EssEnz. Ganz herzlichen Dank das ihr es uns ermöglicht hattet aus der ganzen Karte zu bestellen. Wir waren so begeistert das wir am darauf folgenden Tag gleich nochmal im EssEnz gegessen haben. Auch unsere Gäste waren begeistert von den Gerichten und dem Service. Danke!

Man kann sehr schön auf der Terrasse sitzen, sehr nettet und liebes Personal. Das Essen ist sehr gut und reichlich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Danke an das Team und bis bald.

Wir hatten um 20 Uhr im Aussenbereich reserviert. An unserem Tisch geführt wurden wir nicht. Ich musste nachfragen, welchen Tisch wir nehmen dürfen. Es waren eine Handvoll Tische frei. Jeder freie Tisch war schmutzig. Als dann nach 15 Minuten der Kellner kam, mussten wir zuerst darum bitten, dass der Tisch gereinigt wird. Nach insgesamt einer halben Stunde bekamen wir dann die Getränke. Bestellt wurden dann zwei Vorspeisenplatten (Antipasti) und dann die Hauptgerichte. Der Kellner fragte allen ernstes, ob er alles zusammen bringen soll. Wir bestanden dann darauf, die Vorspeisenplatte auch als Vorspeise einzunehmen. Die Vorspeisenplatte war insgesamt nett angerichtet. Geschmacklich war sie aber nicht wirklich überzeugend. Auch den Preis von 16,50 EUR fanden wir in Anbetracht der Qualität und der Menge einfach zu viel. Nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen reichte man uns dann auch endlich Brot, welches eigentlich mit dabei sein sollte. So steht es zumindest auf der Karte. Die Vorspeise kam insgesamt eine Stunde, nach dem wir eingekehrt sind. Als Hauptspeise haben wir bestellt zweimal Dry Age Cheeseburger, ein Wienerschnitzel und ein Rumpsteak. Das Rumpsteak war leider von Sehnen durchzogen. Auf den Bürgern fehlte der Käse, und geschmacklich waren sie auch nicht wirklich gut. Insgesamt fehlte viel Würze. Einzig und allein das Wienerschnitzel war geschmacklich gut. Die Preise sind zumindest bei den Hauptspeisen in Ordnung. Der Außenbereich ist leider nicht beleuchtet, was das Essen nach Einbruch der Dämmerung eher schwierig macht. Der angrenzende Kinderspielplatz rundet die Atmosphäre, welche einem Touristenlokal gleichkommt, ab. Die Toiletten sind einigermaßen sauber, jedoch ist ein sehr beißender Gestank vorhanden. Das Servicepersonal bedient getreu dem Motto „hier weiß der eine nicht, was der andere macht“. Ein Dessert haben wir uns gespart. Hier ist noch viel Arbeit zu leisten. Das geht definitiv besser. Schade eigentlich.
