Ich war total begeistert! Ich wollte eigentlich nur Cocktails trinken und hatte dann einen richtig tollen Abend 🤗 Der Porn Star Martini und der Mai Tai waren fantastisch, und der Barkeeper hat mich netterweise einen scharfen Wodka-Shot probieren lassen, der überraschend gut war (leider habe ich den Namen vergessen!). Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, der Service exzellent und die Atmosphäre einfach perfekt. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Die Portionsgröße für eine Person ist sehr gut. Die Hygiene ist einwandfrei und das Essen sehr gut zubereitet. Die Sitzanordnung ist etwas eng, besonders am Wochenende. Kostenpflichtige Parkplätze befinden sich in der Nähe; der Fußweg zum Restaurant beträgt etwa 5 bis 8 Minuten.

Lecker essen und schönes Ambiente und sehr höfliche Bedingungen. Gerne wieder.

Die Burritos waren sehr gut. Einer wurde leider falsch gebongt und dementsprechend falsch gebracht. Der Service war aufmerksam und nett. Die Karte ist relativ klein für einen Mexikaner (meine persönliche Meinung). In Summe aber auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert

Ich habe mich in der Escobar sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir waren 8 Personen und auch mehr wäre kein Problem gewesen. Netter Sevice - gutes Essen, leckere hausgemachte Limonade & auch vorab die Reservierung war super einfach! Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend 🌷

Gute Cocktails. Gegessen habe ich nicht, nur genascht. Der Frischkäse-Dip der Nachos war allerdings bemerkenswert gut.

Alles war lecker, der Reis von den Tacos zu fad. Zu den Nachos gehört meiner Meinung nach ein Dip. Der Burger war Top.

Leckeres mexikanisches Essen. Preise sind angemessen. Für eine vernünftige Unterhaltung etwas laut. Bedienung war sehr freundlich und wir werden, wenn wir wieder in Aschaffenburg sind, sicherlich noch einmal vorbei schauen. Reservierung erforderlich.

Sehr leckere cocktails. Die wissen aufjeden fall, wie man sie macht! Leider haben wir zum Ende hin 40 Minuten auf einen Cocktail warten müssen und es war kaum mehr was los. Etwas zu teuer ist es aber dafür lecker. Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend (bis auf den letzten Cocktail) 🙈

Es war sehr schön in der Bar. Wir haben den Geburtstag eines Freundes dort gefeiert. Wir wurden sehr gut versorgt, trotz "voller Bude". Die Getränke waren toll und das Essen echt lecker.

Perfect place for afterwork eve

First of all, the food was excellent. The burgers were delicious. The chimichanga was also a 10/10. However, the wait was terrible. We waited almost an hour for two dishes. And at the next table, people who arrived 20 minutes later received their food 10 minutes earlier. Therefore, unfortunately, only 3/5 stars.

We were on our way to a concert at the Colos-Saal. As always—when time allows—we stopped at Escobar. You walk in. "Do you have a table for two?" We hadn't made a reservation. You get used to not being welcome in restaurants without one. And you feel a bit guilty. Maybe they won't throw us out right away and we'll get lucky? Here: completely different. "Oh, you came spontaneously? That's lovely. Let me see where I can seat you." We're welcome. How wonderful. The food is phenomenal. Delicious. High-quality. Beautifully presented. And very fast. But the service—top-notch. How lucky are those who live nearby. I'm already looking forward to the next concert in Aschaffenburg. And the next tacos at Escobar. A top-notch restaurant where you truly feel welcome.

Fantastic location, very cozy and tastefully decorated, perfect ambiance! I've never eaten such good Mexican food, and the price-performance ratio is absolutely fair! Tacos were great, on corn tortillas witch is not standard in many places. Proper bar with cocktails and nice and helpful personel.

A lively restaurant in the city center with an extensive menu. If you can't decide between the Mexican dishes, you can always just go for a burger. The food is good, and the service staff is friendly. It can get quite busy at times, which can lead to longer wait times. Reservations are recommended, as seating is limited.

A nice shop where you can definitely sit for longer and with a larger group. The food was very good and came reasonably quickly. It was very tasty and there are a good amount of vegan alternatives too. However, the prices are relatively high for the food.

Unfortunately, the food was only okay. Guacamole, we were told, came from a bucket. A shame, considering Mexican cuisine is actually so delicious and fresh. Nice atmosphere, but maybe it's better to go for cocktail hour rather than for dinner.

At Escobar, you can enjoy fresh Tex-Mex dishes in Aschaffenburg's cozy old town. The service is very friendly and attentive (umbrellas are still open even in the strong evening sun ;-)), and you feel welcome as a guest.

Everything just fits here. Great service. Delicious food. And a great atmosphere. What more could you want?

Was really good... will be back

Unfortunately, drinks were often forgotten, and we had to wait an hour and a half for the appetizer alone, even though the restaurant wasn't even completely full. My recommendation: if the kitchen can't serve that many guests, perhaps they should set up fewer tables in the restaurant. The food was otherwise good. But it was also very loud, making it impossible to have a conversation.

Reservierung hat nicht geklappt – sie hatten nichts im System - kann ja mal passieren. Wir mussten aber lange warten, wurden an der Bar abgefertigt, und bekamen keine Getränkekarte. Das leere Getränk und der unaufmerksame Service ließen uns unerwünscht fühlen. Service sollte ehrlich sein – ein Fehler, der mit einer Entschuldigung oder sogar einem Gutschein hätte ausgeglichen werden können. Schade.

Reviews like these are apparently reported to Google by the operator - they then disappear, sometimes temporarily or completely. I have also expressed constructive criticism in the restaurant itself - unfortunately without any lasting response. It's a shame when honest feedback is treated like this. Reservation didn't work out - they didn't have anything in the system - well, that can happen. But we had to wait a long time, were checked into the bar and didn't get a drink menu. The empty drink and inattentive service made us feel unwanted. Service should be honest - a mistake that could have been made up for with an apology or even a voucher. Too bad.

We were there for the first time on a Saturday and it was absolutely delicious. Price/performance is top 👍🏼 The service always has a relaxed approach and you can tell we do it with passion. We would be happy to go there again.

We were there for the first time today. I really don't get excited easily, but I was extremely impressed with this meal. Everything was very fresh and cooked to perfection, and very seasoned without being unpleasantly spicy. The side rice was without exaggeration the best rice I have ever eaten!!! The service was very friendly and clearly enjoyed their work! All around a great experience. Dear Escobar team, keep it up!!

The service was completely overwhelmed and the food was not good. Ordered tap water and got plain water for €3 without any indication that it wasn't tap water. The potato, which was ordered as a side dish instead of the rice, was charged as a complete dish for €11. So we paid too much, bad service. The criticism of the food was not really taken seriously and was commented with a short “shame”. The service was inattentive and often passed by without looking at us. I would definitely have ordered a little more, but it didn't seem to be in their interest. The restaurant is really not recommended, Aschaffenburg has much better restaurants that are more attractive for the price. The €11 wine, 0.25l, was subpar. The waitress wasn't even remotely familiar with the wines on offer.

After a shopping trip we were spontaneously looking for a nice restaurant to grab a bite to eat. We came across this restaurant and decided to try out the Mexican cuisine. What can I say... We weren't disappointed, on the contrary, we are still thrilled. The portions are more than generous, the chicken pieces as a starter were enough as a main course and the baked dishes with fries were also very tasty. The service was super friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere inside and outside was also very nice. The restaurant is highly recommended and we would be happy to come back.

This was our first time eating here and we really enjoyed it! Great atmosphere, very friendly service and quick service when we visited during the week. The food tasted very good and the prices were okay too. We had burritos on “Burrito Tuesday” for €14.90 per plate. The homemade lemonade is also highly recommended. We'll be back!

Very friendly welcome and very good service despite the restaurant being full. The food was very tasty. I had quesadillas with steak strips, grilled vegetables, cheese, mayonnaise and BBQ sauce and was thrilled ((steak strips tender, good seasoning). The hamburgers were also well received.

Unfortunately, the reservation went wrong... we assumed that we had accepted too many reservations. Nevertheless, the handling was quite disorganized, so that after a wait, two guests were seated at a free table for 4 people and unfortunately the three of us were supposed to sit next to each other at the window seat... which we refused... very unfortunate

Nice snack bar in Latin style. Every now and then a DJ plays. The food is delicious. Homemade dips. The owner is very nice and also takes care of his guests. The service girls are attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back.

We went to Escobar for the first time today and were really excited. From the food to the service, an excellent job. The chef definitely knows something about his craft and Silke, who sweetened our evening with her excellent service, is really worth her weight in gold. Wir wollten am späten Nachmittag etwas Essen und Trinken,haben uns wie üblich artig im Eingangsbereich hingestellt und gewartet. .Der anwesende Chef war am telefonieren und anschließend unterhielt er sich mit zwei Gästen über vorhandene Biersorten.Der Gastraum war ansonsten sehr übersichtlich leer an Gästen.Da wir weiterhin nicht wahrgenommen wurden sind wir schließlich in eine andere Bar, nur einige Meter weiter gegangen.Dort wurden wir freundlich begrüßt und wir haben einen dreistelligen Umsatz getätigt. Sicher nur eine Momentaufnahme,aber darum geht es ja hier

We were there around 6:00 p.m. and were lucky with the weather. Seats were available outside so we could eat delicious food. The staff is very friendly and doesn't rush anyone. Gladly again :)

If you're looking for a Mexican atmosphere, you've come to the right place. The staff is super accommodating and friendly, had a few nice conversations. The portions are large and really tasty! I can recommend the homemade lemon-ginger lemonade. :)

We were there for dinner unplanned during the city festival. Despite the crowds due to the festival, the waitresses were very friendly and the waiting time was okay. We were looking for a restaurant that also offered vegan alternatives and were happy that there was a vegan option in every category. We had a vegetarian burrito and vegan chimichanga. Despite the large number of people, a special request was also accommodated without any problems. The food was typical of a Mexican restaurant in Germany and we enjoyed it very much. It's difficult for us to rate the atmosphere because of the festival because there were a lot of people in the store at some point.

I haven't been this satisfied in a long time. Everything perfect. Unfortunately the prices are also over the top. Nevertheless, I will treat myself to it again.
