✨ Revised review: Vinothek Errante, Worms (October 23, 2025) The Vinothek Errante remains a place with character – a successful blend of culinary sophistication, a sense of community, and a relaxed, natural atmosphere. The well-thought-out concept, the fine cuisine, and the excellent wine selection continue to impress. The terrace has since been significantly enlarged and is now even more inviting – lushly planted, atmospherically designed, a real asset for warm days. The menu has also been expanded in some areas, which enhances the overall experience. Lovers of Mediterranean cuisine, in particular, will find suitable inspiration here. But one aspect has changed noticeably in the last two years: the pricing. While the standard was once considered "affordable by today's standards," today one unfortunately has to realize that individual dishes – especially fish and desserts – are now well within the price range, sometimes even exceeding it. Main courses with fish often cost almost €30 these days, which seems at least debatable in a self-service context. Some desserts have also increased in price significantly, which isn't necessarily justified by the quantity or sophistication. As we're quite frequent guests, we've noticed that a standard dish like "Spaghetti Bolognese" varies greatly in quality and taste. Sometimes it's prepared in the classic style with lots of roasted vegetables and ground meat; other times, the vegetables are missing, and the minced meat is also very sparse. I notice a certain negligence in this dish in particular, which ultimately disappoints me. I would very much like management to pay more attention to ensuring culinary quality. The quantity is exemplary, but the quality fluctuates noticeably, unfortunately! In the past, you could look forward to delicious, crispy bread with your meal; today, it's usually mushy and doesn't inspire enthusiasm. We often go elsewhere now, as we don't approve of such declines in quality. We're willing to pay good money, but please don't be complacent about noticeable little things. "The best is the enemy of the good." Nevertheless: The overall experience is mostly satisfactory, despite the aforementioned drawbacks and perceptions – the bar staff are attentive, friendly, and courteous, the self-service is well organized, and the principle of communal table seating ensures that people meet, chat, put their phones away – and simply live in the moment. The Errante wine bar is and remains a special place. However, you should be aware that the price for this experience has risen above average – and you might want to take a closer look before ordering these days. Especially on weekends and here in the evenings (Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays), it's incredibly busy; the noise level barely allows for normal conversation. A cozy evening at a restaurant is difficult under these conditions. For us, that means a quick bite to eat, a glass of wine, and goodbye. Dessert and another glass of wine fall victim to the background noise.

We were traveling to Italy and arrived a bit late at 9:30 PM and asked if we could eat...a table for two. It was very busy, but there was still one table. We didn't quite understand how it worked. We didn't get a good explanation, but when we finally figured it out, we wanted to order. The staff said we had to order at the entrance (we were right at the back), but when we got there, they said that wasn't possible anymore. It was still before 10:00 PM, and they close at 11:00 PM. They could have told us that right away! Wretched!

Review of Errante Wine Bar/Restaurant. Today I'll start again with the parking situation. What can I say... As it happens, the establishment in question is located in Worms, which makes finding a suitable parking space a truly Herculean task. The nearby Lidl branch allows its valued customers to park their vehicles for an hour and a half, but this meager timeframe is unfortunately far from sufficient for a visit. A truly unbearable situation! Parking situation: ⭐⚫⚫⚫⚫ After the tedious task of finding a parking space finally came to a conciliatory conclusion, I was granted the privilege of entering the hallowed halls of the establishment. But as soon as I passed through the gate, a sight met my eyes that caused confusion: an interior that was strikingly reminiscent of a shopping mall, inevitably making me doubt whether I had arrived in the right place. ​After I finally found a suitable seat and took in my surroundings, the decor presented itself in all its glory: the walls adorned with countless shelves, the floor a mundane hall floor, the ceiling a gray hall structure, and the tables of unparalleled robustness. A collection of impressions that could charitably be described as "average," and whose aesthetics are entirely in the eye of the beholder. Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐⚫⚫ Ah yes, the cuisine. After my eyes had inspected the interior, as I already described, my taste buds were also in for a treat. The meal I was served turned out to be a delightful culinary experience. My personal choice, the Errant Burger, was tasty and I highly recommend it, as this interpretation of the classic hamburger was a welcome change. Only the cheese used was a bit too strong for my rather refined palate, but this is, of course, a matter of individual preference. My companion's culinary experience was in stark contrast. Her choice fell on a large salad, which, to my regret, she couldn't take to with the same enthusiasm as I did to my exquisite burger. A truly unequal fate manifested on our plates. Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⚫ Now my attention turned to the service, or, to be more precise, the lack thereof. The principle of self-service prevails here, a procedure otherwise only seen in the lower reaches of a beer garden. So, you head to the counter to place your order for food and drinks. Afterwards, you have the honor of personally carrying the liquid refreshments to your table. First, the culinary creations are brought to your table by a waiter, and the remains of the meal are cleared away. A process that wouldn't be an obstacle in itself, were it not for the monetary implications, which I'll discuss shortly. Namely, the price... Service ⭐⭐⚫⚫⚫ Allow me a few comments on the value for money. While the soft drinks are still reasonably priced, the food costs are higher. These prices would still be justifiable if you were served, but with self-service, I expect significantly lower pricing. And then the crowning glory: the wine shop. The wine selection is undoubtedly exquisite. However, if you choose a bottle and want to enjoy it on site, an additional surcharge of €8 is added to the purchase price. An unprecedented extortion that destroys the joy of a fine wine! Value for money: ⭐⭐⚫⚫⚫ Conclusion: I had a lovely evening, but this was more due to the company than the restaurant. I hereby award Errante Vinothek an overall rating of ⭐⭐⚫ ⚫⚫

Very tasty food and very nice staff

There were six of us there. We ordered and paid as couples. The first four people received their food after about a few minutes, while the last two had to wait an hour and 45 minutes for their food. We only got it after we pointed it out three times! There was no apology or anything. It's a shame, because the food was good and the portions were very large, but the service was abysmal.

On Thursday, we visited your restaurant with friends—six people in total. Unfortunately, we discovered that our order wasn't served until an hour and a half later: only four people received their food, while two guests' orders were forgotten, despite identical dishes. Despite two reminders, the waiter didn't bring the missing dishes. Only after I explicitly pointed this out were the dishes finally served all at once.

Nice ambiance... Since this restaurant was very busy, you should make a reservation in advance. The few free parking spaces directly at the restaurant are therefore only available with luck. You have to serve yourself using the QR code attached to your table. Order and pay at the bar. You have to take your drinks back to your table. The food is brought to your table after you have ordered it at the bar and paid for it immediately. The food tasted good, was beautifully presented, and plentiful. The price/performance ratio was okay. Overall, we were satisfied and can recommend Errante...if you like this kind of self-service.

Errante is a self-service restaurant; orders are placed at the bar, and depending on how fit the group is at the time, the food either arrives at the right time or, as in my case, not at all. My son had already finished his lasagna before my pasta arrived. Bread, too, was only delivered upon request. The place was half full at that time. In my opinion, the food was OK for a real Italian restaurant. In conclusion, if you have time and mainly want to drink some wine with friends, Errante Vinothek is a nice place with ambiance; the food and service could be improved. But everyone has their own opinion.

The ambiance was the best part of the entire visit. The waitresses—if you can call them that—had to force a smile. When clearing the food, they didn't ask if they enjoyed it. They seemed very confident in themselves. The price was reasonable, and the portions were decent. We supposedly had grilled calamari with spaghetti aglio e olio. You could tell the garlic was there, and it only tasted faintly of garlic—not my cup of tea. The grilled calamari was breaded, unfortunately. Then we had spaghetti carbonara, which looked good and my son enjoyed it, too. All in all, it was okay.

A reason to go to Worms! The Errante Vinothek has long been more than just a restaurant for us – it's a regular stop. The huge wine selection, the delicious food, and the relaxed atmosphere make every visit special. Ordering is easy at the counter, and the friendly staff brings everything to your table. The senior manager is a true gem – warm, present, and always up for a chat. We come regularly – that alone makes the trip to Worms worthwhile!

Man sitzt schön, aber für einen Wein 7 Euro finde ich für eine Kleinstadt teuer. Die Antipasti Platte war viel aber nichts besonderes.

Tolles Essen mit italienischem Flair. Wer einen kurzen Ausflug nach Italien machen will muss zum Essen hierher kommen. Anschliessend kann man ausgiebig Spezialitäten aus Italien einkaufen. Wir kommen wieder!

After our civil wedding, we celebrated with a larger group at the Errante Vinothek. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the special occasion or the expectations one has of an upscale wine bar with culinary standards. There was no personal greeting and no attention whatsoever to our special day—not even a simple "Congratulations" or any other small touch. The service was disappointing overall: dirty glasses, inattentive and sometimes helpless staff. We had to go to the counter several times to even be noticed. Over the course of the evening, we were served an appetizer platter that we hadn't ordered—and were still charged for it. It was also claimed that they had tried to contact us the day before—but this demonstrably didn't happen. The food was very tasty—we would like to emphasize that. However, given the fact that we paid a considerable sum for this evening, we were left with the impression that the service clearly didn't live up to the standard and the occasion. Conclusion: Good food, but disappointing service – not recommended for special occasions and at this price level.

Das Essen war sehr gut, wir hatten 2 verschiedene sehr schmackhafte Pasta gewählt. Die Portionen waren gross und man wird gut satt. Das Service-Konzept sieht vor, dass man alle Bestellungen selbst an der Theke durchführt und die Getränke auch selbst an den Tisch mitnimmt. Das bestellte Essen wir dann an den Tisch gebracht und das gebrauchte Geschirr wird auch durch Personal abgeräumt. Das Konzept ist okay wenn das Essen gut schmeckt und gut gekocht ist. Eine persönliche Bedienung ist für uns aber immer noch etwas was wir bevorzugen. Preis-Leistung bezüglich Qualität und Sevice stimmt für uns! Wir können das Lokal aktuell empfehlen!

Diese Vinothek hat es geschafft über die Grenzen von Worms hinaus bekannt zu werden. Die Vinothek ist angeschlossen an einen Feinkostladen, der italienische Spezialitäten anbietet. Inzwischen spielt aber wohl die Vinothek die führende Rolle. Parkplätze stehen nur sehr eingeschränkt zur Verfügung, weswegen der Abend regelmäßig mit Insider Parkplatzsuche beginnt. Diese Situation hat sich jetzt auch noch verschärft, seitdem einige Parkplätze vor dem Haus einer Erweiterung des Außenbereiches weichen mussten. Die angebotenen Weine sind schon bemerkenswert. Besonders angenehm ist das Angebot, sich einen Wein aus den umliegenden Regalen auszusuchen und diesen gleich bei Tisch in der Freundesrunde zu geniessen. Das Essen wird über dem Tresen auf Kreidetafeln angezeigt. Neben einigen "Dauerbrennern" werden zusätzlich täglich/wöchentlich wechselnde zusätzliche Gerichte angeboten. Das Essen hat etwas von einer ursprünglichen italienischen Trattoria, also keine Gourmet-Küche, aber richtig gute, frisch zubereitete und bodenständige Küche, wie Mamma sie auch auf den Tisch gezaubert hätte. Die Bestellungen werden am Tresen aufgenommen und auch gleich bezahlt. In Ausnahmefällen und wenn man ein wenig bekannt ist, kann man auch eine Rechnung eröffnen und erst beim Gehen die Gesamtrechnung bezahlen. Eine Reservierung ist zwingend erforderlich, denn ansonsten besteht aktuell keine Chance, einfach so einen Tisch zu ergattern. Die Location ist überraschend groß mit langen Tischen, an denen sich Gruppen auch mal eng nebeneinander setzen müssen, was aber der entspannten Stimmung keineswegs schadet. Der Geräuschpegel mag vielleicht den einen oder anderen Gast stören, aber das gehört einfach zum Charakter und zu der Stimmung dieser Location dazu. Es gibt nur eine kleine kritische Anmerkung. Die Betreiber sollten darauf achten, dass sie nicht von ihrem eigenen Erfolg überrollt werden. Wenn das Haus richtig voll ist, kann es schon mal zu sehr langen Wartezeiten kommen. Zwar wird dann auf Reklamation hin das Essen zügig nachgeliefert, aber wieder einige Minuten später wird dann das ursprünglich bestellte Essen doch noch geliefert. Das macht keine guten Eindruck bei den Gästen und schadet den Wirten. Bitte weiter so, aber ein wenig aufpassen, dass der Zuwachs an G#ästen auch verkraftbar bleibt.

Four of us were there on a Saturday evening. Except for one main course, everything was delicious. The so-called asparagus salad with marinated salmon and yogurt lemon cream was unfortunately disastrous and ultimately a joke, as one green and one white, finely chopped asparagus spear were hidden under the salad garnish. The salmon and the lemon cream were so fatty they were almost inedible. The term "asparagus salad" is completely inappropriate for this dish, as there was almost no asparagus on the plate. Therefore, I can only give it one star.

There were four of us there. Three of the meals were okay, edible, but nothing truly outstanding. One meal was a complete disaster. Cured salmon with asparagus salad. There were exactly two small asparagus spears: one green (just the head) and one white, which wasn't much bigger. The yogurt and lemon cream consisted only of mayo, incredibly greasy. My husband was disgusted by the food! The salmon was dripping with fat and inedible. The whole meal was an outrage. Serving something like that to guests is borderline ridiculous. I'm certainly not exaggerating; there were actually only two small asparagus spears in it. Unbelievable. We were a long way from asparagus salad. I gave the food 3 stars because the antipasti platter was good and the other dishes were edible. We won't be visiting this place again anytime soon.

The menu is empty of ingredients, and requests aren't accommodated upon request. It seems to be staff-dependent, though. There's nothing for vegans!

Preise sind ein weniger teurer, aber das macht sich bei der Menge sowie der Qualität schnell bemerkbar. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hier wird man immer herzlich empfangen. Frühzeitig reservieren ist nötig um auf jeden Fall einen Platz zu bekommen, da es immer gut voll bis ausverkauft ist.

The food was tasty, the portion was a bit small. At our table of four, half were happy with the size, half were not. Quality and preparation, as well as presentation on the plate, are appealing. The menu contains Italian cuisine without the typical pizza dishes. The map can be viewed online. Taking a look beforehand helps when ordering. The ambience would actually be quaint and cozy if the tables weren't pressed together. You had to squeeze past several tables and that was extremely annoying. Ordering food and drinks only at the counter makes it terribly uncomfortable. Every beer and every wine that was empty had to be fetched again. That would be quite ok if getting there didn't involve squeezing through the narrow tables every time. Then you stand in line in front of the counter (our store was full) and wait to place your order. You then walk back to the square with the drinks. Food comes via waiter. For me, it destroys the conversation at the table too much; in a full restaurant, squeezing through is extremely annoying and I didn't really feel comfortable. You think twice about getting up. The table was so small that two of us sat across the corner of the table. All in all, not the right lifestyle concept for me, but definitely a stylish lifestyle concept for others.

Food is very tasty It's worth a visit

Five of us had dinner at the errante restaurant on a Saturday evening. The food itself is really very tasty. The portions were very good, the price-performance ratio was very good. Everything else was a disaster. All 5 people received the food at different times, with a difference of up to 1.5 hours, even though we all ordered at the same time. When there was a complaint about the length of time and a meal, not only the waiter but also the cook and the boss were unprofessional. The return of a meal was not brought forward and the person had to wait a total of 2 hours. The boss didn't even think it was worth a bottle of water to compensate us as guests. It was the same with at least two other tables. According to the boss, supposedly an exception so no water as an excuse. It doesn't matter whether it's an exception or not, this is not how to deal with guests. According to other guests it is normal to wait around 1 hour for the food. The noise is worse than in a bazaar. Impossible to have a normal conversation. The concept fits but there is no better implementation. Too bad. It deserves a second chance and I hope things go better.

I've been there several times and find the food very tasty! The ambience itself is also something special and the concept (you order food and drinks at the counter) is really something different! The service at the counter is very good, super friendly and charming...just Italian :). The restaurant itself is recommended. BUT at the same time not, because... 1. One table is moved to the other, so there is a lot going on. So mass and class, but unfortunately not class in a few points. There are no decorative partitions or anything, so everything is super tight! It's so loud that you can only have a conversation with the person opposite you, but hardly with the person diagonally opposite you. Just very tiring over time. It can be seen that this is about mass. A table was even given away where there were still drinks and a person at another table even pointed out that the guests were only out for a short time to smoke. That didn't matter. Everything was cleared away and reassigned. People came back from smoking and were delighted to see that their table was simply "gone" along with their drinks. 2. By default you wait between 45-60 minutes. It's okay if you know that. But someone had to wait almost 2 hours!!! The service staff was asked about it several times, and at some point they were overwhelmed themselves, saying that they couldn't do anything about it, etc. There was no compensation either, because everything is chaotic today and the boss doesn't allow it. 3. The food usually doesn't come together. We were a small group and everyone got their food at different times. One person was finished, then at some point another person's food came, etc. The guests and tables around us felt the same way. It's a real shame because the concept and food are really great. So a clear recommendation if there were just fewer tables with some separation and then food that comes more or less at the same time!

We have reserved a table for 12 people. When we arrived we were shown to the table. After everyone got drinks we wanted to order food. We were then told that there was no more warm food and that we should order starters. Since it was already 9 p.m. the entire evening was ruined for us. That was the first time and the last time I wanted to eat here. Thanks for nothing!

Very good concept: You choose your food at the counter, which is served at the table, and you take your drink to the table straight after ordering your food. Very good quality and selection of starters and main courses. We didn't eat dessert, but it looked delicious too. The staff is very friendly and quick.

Great location if you like a casual Italian deli atmosphere. Great food, friendly service, changing daily menu and interesting crowd. High tables and normal table are available. We sat here for a long time and kept ordering because it was just so good. I'd love to come back.

Unfortunately, the pinsa and salads were no longer available at 6:15 p.m. Furthermore, our table was moved during the meal without our consent. Drinks again very good. The food itself was tasty, but the portions were a bit small for the price.

As of 6 p.m., half of the food was no longer in stock. During the meal, the tables move randomly without the guests being able to react. The starters are nevertheless delicious, as are the drinks. In general, it's a shame because the wine shop could be much better!

Unfortunately I can only give 3 stars for the food. The saltimbocca was not good. Unfortunately the meat was too dry and at a price of just under 25 euros. We had a cold plate beforehand, which was really very good. The ambience was great. All in all I give it 4 stars.

We have known Pronto for a long time as an Italian delicatessen market - we first discovered the wine shop and were pleasantly surprised. It is important to reserve a table in advance. You order and collect drinks yourself at the counter, you order and pay for food at the counter by specifying your table number, and the food is then served by the friendly service staff. Stylish ambience, wine racks on the walls, prices for bottled wines like on the shelf plus €6 corkage fee - you can't say anything about that. Antipasti delicious and fresh, great selection. Main courses tasted and looked very good. All in all a successful evening - conclusions were not there for the last time.
