A classic Instagram flop recommendation. No idea where those 4.7 stars come from. Service was poor, both fish orders were dry, and the side salad was mediocre. If I'd gone to the bathroom before ordering, I would have left immediately. Sorry, but it's really disgusting!! Reconsider reopening.

A very authentic, no-nonsense Turkish fish restaurant. The anchovies and olives to start are great! We then had the sea bass and the calamari rings. We felt like we rolled out of the place by the end :D Be sure to make a reservation or arrive early, otherwise you won't get a seat.

Every time I visit this fish shop, I feel like I'm back in my hometown in Turkey, just like in Mersin. It reminds me of my little fishing village. The food is always fresh and delicious. Small, but simply wonderful.

If you love fish you'll love this place!

The wait to be seated was incredibly long, so we ended up sitting at a vacant table ourselves and waiting about half an hour for the table to be cleared after the previous guests. The fish didn't match the photos on the menu; for example, the red mullet looked like the attached photo. A special mention to the restrooms—they were terrible, filthy and unsanitary; I've attached a photo. In the end, they added the shrimp we ordered to our bill, but they never arrived. Our clothes smelled like the kitchen. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!

I am really sad to report that this place is not what it used to be. Many dishes from the menu were not available and the waiter didn’t even apologize or suggested another alternative.

The best fish restaurant we've found in Berlin so far! The ambiance is fantastic – cozy, and the many notes and pictures on the walls make it truly special. There's comfortable seating both inside and outside, and the service is extremely friendly and attentive. On weekends or with a larger group, however, you should definitely make a reservation in advance. We had the grilled sea bream and the pomegranate salad – both were truly delicious. We will definitely be back!

We were unfortunately disappointed. Contrary to the Instagram videos advertising the menu, we discovered that four main courses and the requested dessert were missing. Keep in mind, it was a Saturday evening. The place was packed, and the staff, while friendly, seemed overwhelmed. The food was good. It's a shame there were no side dishes other than bread. You would have had to order them.

We visited Ergün's Fischbude in Berlin and had grilled sea bass, a mixed salad, and shrimp in a hot pan with their homemade sauce for our main course. Every single dish was excellent. The fish was grilled to perfection and professionally filleted by the staff right at our table. The shrimp were aromatic and perfectly prepared, and the salad was exceptionally fresh and flavorful; I've never tasted anything as good as this before. Add to that the service was attentive, super-friendly, and simply warm. It was a perfect evening all around! A culinary experience of the highest caliber. Here, you immediately notice the passion and quality that go into the dishes. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is a true gem; during our visit, I felt like I was in Turkey. The atmosphere is incredible, and the food was excellent (stir-fried prawns and salad). A big plus for me: we arrived on a Saturday without a reservation, and they still managed to get us a seat after a short wait. Thank you so much for that.

Disappointing – unfortunately not recommended We ate there today and were sadly very disappointed. The fish alone was dry and looked like it had been frozen, and was served without any side dishes. Only the additional salad and calamari pan provided some variety on the plate, which at least made the meal a bit more enjoyable. The prices are significantly inflated for what is offered – the value for money is absolutely not there. We found the ambiance very uncomfortable: The dining room looked like a converted workshop, completely overloaded with pictures, and the restrooms were unfortunately in a poor state and smelled unpleasant. The service also left a lot to be desired: inattentive and unfriendly. We discovered this restaurant via social media and had high expectations – unfortunately, we were completely disappointed. We definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Completely overhyped and disappointing. The calamari for €18 tasted like chewy rubber bands – clearly frozen. The appetizer plates with sauces (one of which was clearly past its date, with a fermented taste!) for a whopping €27 are a disgrace. Absolutely ridiculous value for money. You could really save yourself the hassle.

Great restaurant. I've heard a lot about this place. It was really delicious. I had sea bream and grilled shrimp. Great atmosphere, feels very homely. You can pay with cash or PayPal. And the prices are okay too! Considering it's in such a great location and very relaxed. The place is right under the tracks and has a certain atmosphere; it's not as loud as I thought. It's kind of cool that the train passes by every now and then.

I discovered this restaurant through social media. The food is pretty standard. There's a lot of fried food. The ambiance at the tables outside is mediocre, but better inside. But: On the way to the restroom, you see crates and dingy aisles – reminiscent of a warehouse and unhygienic. At least in a fish restaurant. They serve rakı, which is unfortunately not standard in Berlin, so that's a positive. When it got too crowded and we were still sitting at our table, we were actually asked to leave after eating! I've never experienced that in a restaurant before. The food is – as I said – okay, but nothing special. Our salad was good. You can come here sometimes, but judging by the reviews, it's rather overcooked!

Very difficult.... I was last here about 10 years ago... I told my colleague that we should visit the place... Well... It didn't look like the photo I took back then... Half of the magic of the place has already vanished... The waiters were super nice... Special requests were accommodated... But... It wasn't busy and everything took forever... Until we got the menus, until we could order, until the drinks arrived, until the food arrived, until the bill came... Everything took toooooo long... At first, there was only one waiter... Or two... But at one point, I think there were even three... My colleague and I just looked at each other and said to ourselves: in our store, we get three times as many customers on the morning shift alone... No hate to the waiters (we also work in service)... Maybe they were new to the area, maybe they were overworked, maybe Too many days in a row, maybe double shifts due to staff shortages... That could all be true... But unfortunately, they weren't focused... About the food: it tasted as it should... Excellent... But the wait was too long... Really too long... With so few tables, that really shouldn't have been necessary... In the same time, I could have cooked frozen fish four times at home... As you could tell (dear guests, dear owners), not everything was negative... but not everything was positive either... Since the place itself does its job well, it's still a solid 4.5 stars.... But the kitchen and service processes definitely need to be 100% improved... And don't start bashing the waiters and cooks about it... A very pleasant atmosphere and excellent food! During our four-day trip to Berlin, my friends and I discovered this restaurant on social media – a real stroke of luck. We received a warm welcome and excellent service. I was particularly impressed by the fresh salad and the delicious shrimp. A big thank you also goes to the waiters, Milad and Kerem, who provided many laughs with their friendly and humorous manner. When I'm back in Berlin, I'll definitely be back!

Someone from the kitchen was smoking right in the hallway in front of the open door – very unappetizing. In the end, they said we couldn't pay by card because their equipment had been stolen. After paying in cash, I noticed on the note that some prices were €1-2 higher than on the menu. Why the quality was so bad today – tiny portions and exorbitant prices – I don't know. But after this bitter experience, we probably won't be coming back. We've been here several times before and have always been happy with the food and service. Two of us were there yesterday, and we got a seat quickly because it wasn't that busy (around 5 p.m., about half the tables outside and inside were empty). The server took our order after about 10 minutes and served our drinks and salad relatively quickly. The salad portion was very good and large for two people, and they didn't skimp on the cheese and walnuts either. We actually wanted to order one bontio and one salmon each, but they were out of stock, so we ordered two mackerel. Up until then, this wasn't a problem. The problem was more that we waited over an hour for the grilled fish, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. Otherwise, the food was good, but I wouldn't go there again because of the wait. Note: Two friends of ours also ate at Ergün's Fischbude that evening around 9 p.m. It was very busy at that time, and the wait was also about 1.5 hours (ordered one shrimp and one mackerel).

We ordered a "salad for two" and a shrimp stir-fry. The waiter asked how many shrimp we wanted and recommended between 4 and 8. Only when we got the bill did we learn that each shrimp cost €3.50 – eight shrimp, that's €28 for a very small portion. The salad seemed more like a single serving, not for two people. The service was unattentive: We had to call several times or even go to the waiter ourselves to order or pay. In total, we paid: • Shrimp stir-fry (8 shrimp): €28 • Salad "for two": €16 • 2× Apple spritzer: €8 We personally didn't find the value for money convincing. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience for us, and we wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

A very nice restaurant for those on a budget, or if you just want to enjoy fish dishes. Even though I'm not a fish lover, I'm pleasantly surprised by the dishes at this restaurant! Excellent service and hospitality! Highly recommended.

We got a table right away, and everything was fine. The salad and starter also arrived quickly. We had to wait over an hour for the scampi pan, which also cost less than we ordered. The wait for the fish was just as long. As an apology, we were "given" a fried plate of shrimp that we didn't even get. The food tasted okay, but nothing special and definitely not worth the wait.

We went back to this place about a year ago, which we loved and recommended to everyone, and unfortunately, it wasn't quite the same as we left it. I'll explain it point by point: As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a foul smell, familiar from the subway. We were sitting outside, and the smell was even more unbearable inside. We waited over an hour for two grilled fish. Considering there were only eight tables, and not all of them were occupied, that's a long time. One of the fish we ordered was green inside because it hadn't been properly cleaned. The view I saw from the open kitchen door on my way to the restroom was like a war zone. I've been a chef for 14 years, and kitchens can be chaotic during service, but this was on another level. I asked for a charge and gave my phone and charger to the waiter. When I returned to get it back, I saw that someone had used my charger and my phone had been placed somewhere ordinary. In short, you've made me upset, Ergün.

The salad with cheese was super delicious!! The sea bass fish was super delicious!! Hamsi was very good!! The atmosphere was very authentic!

So, the shrimp pan 11/10. Salad 11/10. Sea bass 11/10. Cold appetizers 6/10. You can really have amazing food here. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try many other things. But I'll catch up on that in the next few days. The price/performance ratio is really great. The only thing that's not clever is the pricing policy for the shrimp pan. 1 shrimp costs €3.50. So a shrimp pan with 10 shrimp costs €35. Across the street, a whole grilled fish costs only €18. It doesn't fit!!! Now, the ambiance. It's not a restaurant. Everyone who comes there has to understand that. It's not called a fish stall for nothing. It's not fine dining. But that's exactly what makes it special. My family was shocked at first. But when the food arrived, they only gave it stars. The service was also excellent. There's nothing to complain about.

The fact that the owner of the place is from Fenerbahçe adds flavor to the food.

Salad 🥗 and fish 🐟 were very tasty and top-notch. The ambience/decoration was, in my opinion, unloving (we were outside, there were mixed chairs, chipped plates, and different glasses). The area in front of the toilets and at the back exit was very cluttered. Both our plates were chipped. One of us only got fish cutlery. Our request for bread was apparently charged an additional €4. We only noticed this afterwards when we did the math. We didn't get the bill; the amount was only announced. With our salad 🥗 for 2 people, we received a small piece of bread, which we ate along with the salad 🥗. Our main course, fish 🐟, came WITHOUT bread, although the menu stated it came with bread on the side. The empty bread basket from our salad 🥗 was still on the table. When we asked for bread with our main course (1 fish each for €17 and €18), we again received a very small piece of flatbread for 2 people. We noticed that other guests received much larger pieces. The small loaf wasn't enough for the main course, and we had to ask for more bread. We were told that was standard, and what we would have received. However, that was the case with the waitress, who hadn't seen what we (or rather how little bread) we had received from her colleague. If bread is listed as a side dish to the main course, you shouldn't have to ask for it; it should come automatically and not be brought in different portion sizes. I felt very uncomfortable because it seemed as if we wanted more bread than usual. We won't be coming back. The ambience was not the deciding factor in this decision. Service is important to us. I don't want to ask for things and have to justify myself if they forget to bring them.

The food (the beans and octopus) was probably from a can, the plates were broken, and the overall quality was a bit shabby. The salads were served cold, but they should have been served hot with a dip. Can't recommend

Absolutely amazing. A true Berlin experience. Beneath the S-Bahn arches in Moabit. Small space, very loud. The terrace is always busy in the summer. The food: unexpectedly delicious. Fresh fish, the sea bream is perfect. The salad is fantastic. Go with friends, order everything mixed up and at the same time. Party feeling.

A charming shop, a charming and very attentive staff, and truly delicious fish dishes. I've been wanting to come here for a long time, and it was worth it. I particularly like the pan-fried shrimp and the fried anchovies – but everything was really good. Located under the S-Bahn arch, it was surprisingly quiet.

Positive: • The service was generally friendly and courteous. Negative: • No hot drinks available today – it took the third drink request to be served. • The bill couldn't be paid separately – not very modern. • Only bottled beer, but €5 each – excessively expensive. • The bread was moldy. When pointed out, they only offered to bring new bread – that alone isn't enough in an incident like this and seems unprofessional. • The rest of the food was of mixed quality and, considering the price, unconvincing. Conclusion: The friendly service can't make up for the many shortcomings. The handling of the spoiled bread was particularly disappointing. Overall, it wasn't good value for money. I'll spare you a picture of the moldy bread!

We went there on Mother's Day based on many recommendations. We had reserved a table for 7 p.m. The welcome: not unfriendly, but not a warm one either. Perhaps due to the busyness. The young waiters were less able to handle the crowd than the manager (?) who looked after us. Unfortunately, by 7 p.m., almost all the fish dishes were sold out, which was very incomprehensible to us. We ordered the salad as a starter, which was really very good! For the main course, we had a children's plate and three sea breams. The children's plate arrived quickly, but not the sea bream. After we asked, they turned out to be out of stock. Unfortunately, we didn't understand this either. We were given mackerel instead, which was quite good, but not the reason for our visit and unfortunately not exceptionally good either. However, we were given a good price, which we have to give the manager credit for! Overall, unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience. It's a real shame, as other experiences were much better and the salad gave an indication of how good the meal as a whole can be.

My party waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes for our grilled fish while two nearby tables had already received their fish and finished eating.. The staff mentioned there was a technical issue with the grill. However, other tables still received grilled fish. Our order was just forgotten and we reminded the staff twice. When we finally received our meals, they only accepted cash and did not provide a receipt. I recommend confirming payment options and requesting an itemized bill before ordering.

I am as picky as a gourmet when it comes to food. I have never seen such a taste or such quality in my life. Branches should be opened in other parts of Germany and everyone should have access to this taste. It is officially addictive, there is no such taste. ...either the owner who is causing so much hype about this fish restaurant has changed or everything here is "cheating". Service???? Food??? For a restaurant that specializes exclusively in fish, I would recommend further training in this regard / there is NO way you can talk about enjoyment or pleasure here / a NO GO for me!!!

First of all the food wasn't bad, it was tasty. But you really still need to work on the service. There were five of us there, and you would expect that everyone could eat together. Everyone got their food at different times, you couldn't wait for the others' food, otherwise your own would get cold. You basically ate alone and 4 people were watching you, after I was almost finished, the person sitting next to me got his food, then the same game again, everyone was watching because I had already finished and the others still had nothing. Then we ordered lemons and bread, which were then forgotten after asking twice. The only thing that came quickly and smoothly was the bill.

I had a very disappointing experience with this restaurant. I made a reservation in advance, and it was confirmed. However, when I arrived on time, I was told they were full and that my reserved table had been given away. There was no prior notice, no call or message to inform me of any issue. When I asked for an explanation, the staff simply said, “You can come tomorrow instead. Unfortunately, there was no apology or attempt to resolve the situation. I understand restaurants can get busy, but honoring confirmed reservations and communicating with guests is basic customer service. This experience left me feeling frustrated and unwelcome. I hope they improve their reservation system and how they handle customers in the future.

Disappointing experience - never again! We came specifically to enjoy a lovely evening with fish, mezze and raki at Ergün’s Fischbude. Unfortunately we were bitterly disappointed. The employee was completely overwhelmed and disorganized. Although we wanted to order hamsi and shrimp, there was neither - really weak for a fish stall. In the end we paid a whopping 170 euros for 3 sea bream, some salad and 20cl of raki. Absolutely not justified for what was offered. Next time we'll go straight to Delphine - they not only have a better selection, but also professional service.

So today for Mother's Day, five of us were there and we wanted to enjoy Raki-Balik, but instead we had to eat Raki-Salata. After waiting an hour and a half for the waiter to take our order, I asked him three more times for an ashtray. Not only was all our "requests" (ashtray, bread, cutlery, water) mercilessly ignored, he came over to us and said he had no more fish, nothing except calamari, which you get frozen and just fry. Of course we didn't want that. When I asked why he hadn't told us from the start that there wasn't a single fish to eat in a fish restaurant, what were we supposed to eat? Salad! With just a few slices of bread! Five of us! On Mother's Day! I am stunned, immensely disappointed, and even after I told the waiter (I was happy to leave €110 for salad, bread, and soft drinks), all he said was, "You're right." Service, plus the imaginary fish there, are under a star. I don't recommend it to anyone.

If you are looking for a good place for meze and fish, this is definitely a recommendation! The fried shrimp and the pomegranate salad in particular are absolutely delicious - you should definitely try them.

You immediately feel like you're in a fish shack somewhere on the Mediterranean coast, really big!!
