Erdem Döner & Pizza in Mannheim

Es war sehr nett und lecker, wir haben uns ein wenig unterhalten, er war ein guter Mensch, vielen Dank für Ihre Gastfreundschaft.

Ich war heute mit zwei Freundinnen hier und wir waren alle begeistert. Der Service war unglaublich nett und herzlich, die Besitzer sind sehr sympathisch und gastfreundlich. Das Essen hat uns richtig gut geschmeckt, die Qualität ist hervorragend und die Preise sind absolut fair. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können diesen Laden nur weiterempfehlen!

Zuallererst: ich poste normalerweise keine negativen Rezensionen aber das muss sein: Ich habe heute einen vegetarischen Döner mit Käse, nach einem Bissen bereits auf, dass der Käse nicht nur überreif sondern komplett sauer und somit schlecht ist und absolut ungenießbar und nicht essbar ist. Ein weiterer Bissen sowie zwei weitere Personen bestätigten mir dies. Ich habe danach angerufen, um dies dem Laden mitzuteilen, damit sie das Problem beheben können und nicht noch weitere Kunden in den Geschmack kommen. Mit einem einfachen: „Danke für die Info. Tut uns leid…“ wäre ich zufrieden gewesen. Stattdessen wurde ich belehrt, dass es Geschmackssache sei und der Käse vielleicht ein bisschen überreif sei, aber dass das eben vor allem persönlicher Geschmack sei, und manche eben Parmesan und andere wiederum Mozzarella mögen. Ich habe daraufhin betont, dass ich, wenn ich Döner esse, dann nur vegetarisch und mit Käse und ich sehr wohl Geschmack von nicht mehr gut unterscheiden könne, es zwei weitere Personen probiert haben und ich sie in erster Linie aus Nettigkeit darauf hinweisen wollte. Daraufhin wieder nur die Wiederholung, es sei mein persönlicher Geschmack und keinerlei Entschuldigung. Zwar wurde mir dann noch gesagt, wir finden beim nächsten Mal eine Lösung aber selbst wenn das ein Gratis-Döner sein sollte, nie wieder dort!

Sehr sympathisch und essen war auch top. So gutherzige Menschen muss man unterstützen!!!!

Der mit Abstand beste Döner, den ich je gegessen habe! Frisch gebackenes Brot und ein absolut fantastischer Hähnchen-Döner vom Grill. Und natürlich ein super Service! Sehr zu empfehlen.

Erdem‘s Kebap ist seit Jahren eine grundsolide Nummer! Das Essen - egal ob im Fladenbrot, im Yufka oder auf dem Teller - hat uns (meine Frau und mich) noch nie enttäuscht! Auch die tollen Gespräche mit Erdem und seiner tollen Frau sind immer ein Genuss. Ich habe bisher noch keinen Gastronomen gesehen, der sowohl auf dem Teller und im Herzen so stark überzeugt :) Weiter so! Ganz viel Liebe Euer Yunan komsun Alex :)

I love that they put a lot of white sauce. And that it always taste good. The Döner in other places are sometimes too salty but it’s never the case here.

I'm from Stuttgart and was there on my way there, and I ate a super delicious kebab. The people were so friendly and welcoming, the kebab tasted absolutely delicious. 10 out of 10, everything was great.

Two weeks ago, we were there, two adults and two children. The food was delicious and fresh. Unfortunately, we live quite far away and can't eat there often.

I'm from Cologne and had to drive through Mannheim. On the way, we were craving a kebab and stumbled upon this shop thanks to the great reviews. To cut a long story short, we weren't disappointed. The food and the hygiene in the shop were truly excellent. The owners put a lot of effort into their work and are passionate about their business. Excellent, we'd love to go back.

My husband's favorite kebab shop, and as soon as I visit my mother-in-law again, I'll be a guest there too. But why is it my husband's favorite kebab shop (he doesn't really like kebabs)? He says you can taste the love. When someone does something with passion, and this kebab shop is the brainchild of the nice Abi and his wonderful wife, you can tell by the quality. Not only is it delicious, they're generous. Not just with the salad, but especially with the meat and sauce. The prices are reasonable. The shop is clean. And honestly: kebabs are always good 😍 I'm looking forward to my next visit to Mannheim to enjoy your kebabs ❤️

He really gives some pizza makers a run for their money; everything is fresh and prepared right in front of your eyes; everything tastes delicious. When I have my son with me, he's always so loving and friendly, chatting with him. I really can't say anything negative. The shop and the food are all clean. The owners themselves pay a lot of attention to hygiene, and you can see it in both them and the shop. They're really clean and friendly people. We've enjoyed coming here for years; in the summer, almost every other day because of the outdoor pool, and we've never been disappointed. High praise, and keep it up. 🙏🏽👏🏽

Delicious food, nice people who serve you, what more could you want! Always happy to be there.

I went to the restaurant with my little child and we ordered lahmacun and pizza. Although I specifically ordered the Lahmacun without being spicy, it was served spicy. When I pointed this out, instead of compensating for the damage, they claimed that the lahmacun was not spicy at all. The taste of the pizza was also bad. My child couldn't eat it and said, 'Let's not pack the rest, it tastes bad.' These things aren't that bad, but the real problem was the older gentleman's rude behavior towards the customers. He suddenly asked me about my profession, and when I asked him why, he said that he was curious because of my relationship with my child. Maybe not because of the bad taste of the food, but because of this attitude, this was the first time we entered this place and at the same time the last time. I hope the owner of the restaurant doesn't repeat this mistake.

I really don't understand how this store can have such a good rating. Perhaps reviews were forced from customers? Because for me it's not even close to being as good as the reviews say. I've honestly never seen a stingier kebab shop than this one. The boss is only interested in profit according to the motto pay a lot get a little. He is also very stingy when it comes to serving, so when he gives out what is served, he makes sure that only one napkin is given out. Here you don't get the salad as a side dish in the kebab, but meat as a side dish with the salad. The meat comes from a container in which the meat has been pre-cut, who knows how long it has been in there and whether it is actually the meat from the spit or maybe even from the day before. When I asked if the meat could be fresh from the spit, the boss was immediately offended. Ultimately, I pay the money for the kebab and I can probably demand that I want fresh meat from the spit and not the soggy, leaky meat from the day before. It's better to go where the meat is freshly cut in front of your eyes and added to the bread. Conclusion: For me, it's a below-average kebab, compared to other kebab shops, and also quite expensive. But everyone must be able to decide for themselves.

You can get the same kebab in the city for €5.. for a chicken kebab which was very meager in terms of content and was a huge disappointment in terms of taste. €7.50 is far too much.. absolutely not recommended!!!!

Best kebab I've eaten so far. Everything is actually made fresh, no frozen fries!! The Lahmacun is topped with minced meat and baked, simply delicious. A clear recommendation and all at more than fair prices.

Unfortunately very disappointing. We had a chicken kebab and falafel kebab 1 hour before closing. Both were very dry and not recommended in terms of taste. The meat came from a container, no idea how long it had been in there.

Leider sehr enttäuschend. Wir hatten 1h vor Schließung einen Hähnchen Döner und Falafel Döner. Beides war sehr trocken und geschmacklich nicht zu empfehlen. Das Fleisch kam aus einem Behälter, ka wie lange es da schon drin war. Ich kann die vielen positiven Bewertungen leider nicht nachvollziehen. Keine Empfehlung!

Rather below average kebab. There is no toilet and only chicken meat. The Yufka wasn't that tasty and the kebab plate was just ok. The 4 star rating is definitely not justified. Relatively expensive for that.

The small kebab was just right: with everything, spicy and in a crispy flatbread and was brought to the table after a humorous order. Recommended!

No wrong decision! Personally, I prefer veal rather than chicken in a kebab, but this one is different. The bread was as crispy as if it had just come off the grill, and the meat was well fried and had a real grilled chicken flavor. Vegetables were also fresh and crunchy. Price is higher than average at 6.90 for a kebab but still appropriate for the size, the Yufka for 7.50 is at least one and a half times as big as average, a real pipe!

I had vegetarian kebab twice and can't say anything about the meat. The taste is rather mediocre. Portions are large, but the sauce tastes quite bland and boring. All in all a bit loveless and I can't understand the high ratings here. Definitely too expensive for bread with some vegetables and a few crumbs of cheese! I don't have to go back there so quickly.
