I went to the restaurant with my little child and we ordered lahmacun and pizza. Although I specifically ordered the Lahmacun without being spicy, it was served spicy. When I pointed this out, instead of compensating for the damage, they claimed that the lahmacun was not spicy at all. The taste of the pizza was also bad. My child couldn't eat it and said, 'Let's not pack the rest, it tastes bad.' These things aren't that bad, but the real problem was the older gentleman's rude behavior towards the customers. He suddenly asked me about my profession, and when I asked him why, he said that he was curious because of my relationship with my child. Maybe not because of the bad taste of the food, but because of this attitude, this was the first time we entered this place and at the same time the last time. I hope the owner of the restaurant doesn't repeat this mistake.

The best kebab you can get in Mannheim. Always fresh ingredients that you can taste, really nice owner and staff and fair prices too. I've been going here for kebabs for years and that won't change

I really don't understand how this store can have such a good rating. Perhaps reviews were forced from customers? Because for me it's not even close to being as good as the reviews say. I've honestly never seen a stingier kebab shop than this one. The boss is only interested in profit according to the motto pay a lot get a little. He is also very stingy when it comes to serving, so when he gives out what is served, he makes sure that only one napkin is given out. Here you don't get the salad as a side dish in the kebab, but meat as a side dish with the salad. The meat comes from a container in which the meat has been pre-cut, who knows how long it has been in there and whether it is actually the meat from the spit or maybe even from the day before. When I asked if the meat could be fresh from the spit, the boss was immediately offended. Ultimately, I pay the money for the kebab and I can probably demand that I want fresh meat from the spit and not the soggy, leaky meat from the day before. It's better to go where the meat is freshly cut in front of your eyes and added to the bread. Conclusion: For me, it's a below-average kebab, compared to other kebab shops, and also quite expensive. But everyone must be able to decide for themselves.

The service and food was very good. Everything went very quickly too. The price/performance ratio is right.

You can get the same kebab in the city for €5.. for a chicken kebab which was very meager in terms of content and was a huge disappointment in terms of taste. €7.50 is far too much.. absolutely not recommended!!!!

I don’t understand why there is almost 5 star for a so average kebab. Just business. If you want eat good meat go somewhere else

Best kebab I've eaten so far. Everything is actually made fresh, no frozen fries!! The Lahmacun is topped with minced meat and baked, simply delicious. A clear recommendation and all at more than fair prices.

Unfriendly, we said we wanted a lot of sauce for the kebab boxes. We arrived home and there was no sauce, the fries were soft and not edible and made without love! By the way, no card payment

Doner is good, but Falafel are just okay. I can recommend it, but it is nothing special or crazy. There are better spots in Mannheim.

Leider sehr enttäuschend. Wir hatten 1h vor Schließung einen Hähnchen Döner und Falafel Döner. Beides war sehr trocken und geschmacklich nicht zu empfehlen. Das Fleisch kam aus einem Behälter, ka wie lange es da schon drin war. Ich kann die vielen positiven Bewertungen leider nicht nachvollziehen. Keine Empfehlung!

Unfortunately very disappointing. We had a chicken kebab and falafel kebab 1 hour before closing. Both were very dry and not recommended in terms of taste. The meat came from a container, no idea how long it had been in there.

Rather below average kebab. There is no toilet and only chicken meat. The Yufka wasn't that tasty and the kebab plate was just ok. The 4 star rating is definitely not justified. Relatively expensive for that.

The small kebab was just right: with everything, spicy and in a crispy flatbread and was brought to the table after a humorous order. Recommended!

No wrong decision! Personally, I prefer veal rather than chicken in a kebab, but this one is different. The bread was as crispy as if it had just come off the grill, and the meat was well fried and had a real grilled chicken flavor. Vegetables were also fresh and crunchy. Price is higher than average at 6.90 for a kebab but still appropriate for the size, the Yufka for 7.50 is at least one and a half times as big as average, a real pipe!

I had vegetarian kebab twice and can't say anything about the meat. The taste is rather mediocre. Portions are large, but the sauce tastes quite bland and boring. All in all a bit loveless and I can't understand the high ratings here. Definitely too expensive for bread with some vegetables and a few crumbs of cheese! I don't have to go back there so quickly.

Meat, old and dry from the container. One of the worst kebabs I've had. Totally overpriced for that. The poor quality kebab is worth a maximum of 4-5 euros.

Erdem supposedly offers “doner kebab with love”, love has many faces but unfortunately this kebab is not one of them. The “garlic sauce” was more or less a kind of tzatziki and unfortunately only tasty in the first few bites. This also applies to the entire kebab bag, because unfortunately the meat was more of a kind of “gyros” and towards the end it was very over-portioned without any cabbage or salad. Unfortunately, the onions were almost impossible to find. When it comes to the range of drinks, you can say that there is a large selection, but it is slightly above the average price. The service was also mediocre at best, unfortunately nothing came apart from a business-like “What can you do?” The plates were also not brought to the table as usual, but had to be picked up yourself. Overall, Erdem isn't really "Kebab with love" because unfortunately this "Gyros-style" kebab, as we would like to call it, didn't fill us up. But well, you know.

Guter Döner, recht fleischlastig. Fleisch nicht direkt vom Spieß sondern warmhalte box. Gemüse wirkte etwas trocken.

Mitarbeiter oder Chef (1person), desinteressiert und lustloser Eindruck 0% Freundlichkeit. Fleisch kalt und nicht vom Spieß geschnitten sonder aus einer Schale geholt.(finde ich uncool). Dennoch war Geschmack einigermaßen Okk (kann aber auch durch den Hunger verfälscht worden sein. Fazit ich komme nicht mehr sorry

Fleisch ist nicht das beste und bei der Dönerbox ist es leider nicht möglich halb Salat und halb Pommes zu machen. Freundlich auch nicht wirklich

Das ist seit über 15 Jahren der beste Döner den ich kenne. Nicht weil es der ist der vielleicht am besten schmeckt oder sehr ausgefallen ist sondern weil er seit über 15 Jahren den gleichen hohen Standard hält. Das Fleisch ist immer in Top Qualität, es gibt immer frischen Salat, sie waschen sich andauernd die Hände bevor sie anfangen etwas zu machen und man weiss stehts was man bekommt. Ich finde das ist heutzutage sehr viel Wert einen einfach mehr als "Guten" Döner zu bekommen in immer gleich bleibender Qualität.

Schade! Bin auf Grund der guten Bewertungen hingegangen, Fleisch aus einer Wärmebox, jeweils 1€ Preis Zuschlag für bisschen Peperoni und Gurken, am Ende fast 10€ für einen Döner mit lauwarmen Fleisch gezahlt. Für 4€ wäre das in Ordnung, aber für den Preis dann doch eher nicht.

Für mich verdient Erdem 5 Sterne. Essen ist lecker, Preise sind fair, die Leute sind freundlich. Der Döner ist für mich genau so wie er sein muss. Außen knusprig und innen frische Zutaten. Kein unnötiges Schnick Schnack.

Der Kundenservice ist hervorragend, man wird sofort bedient. Die ganze Familie hat etwas zum Essen gefunden, das ihnen gefallen hat. Die Qualität des Essens ist spitze ! Der Laden an sich ist auch sehr sauber. Ich empfehle diesen Laden auf jeden Fall weiter, wenn man schnell leckeres und preiswertes Essen haben möchte.

Immer frisch und lecker! Wenn ich Lust auf Döner habe, geh ich immer zu Erdem Döner Außerdem sind die Jungs immer sehr freundlich und gut drauf!

Ich weiß nicht wie lange es diesen Dönerladen schon gibt und er sich immer noch gegen die harte und größer werdende Konkurrenz in der Neckarstadt-Ost durchzusetzen vermag. Dies mag wohl daran liegen, dass der Erden-Döner immer wieder gleich sehr gute Qualität bietet. Da kommt kaum einer in Mannheim dran. Der Schritt vom ehemaligen Gemüseladen zum Döner Take-Away hat sich für mich kulinarisch gelohnt. Bei Erdem kann man davon ausgehen, dass die Hygiene stimmt und die Zutaten frisch sind. Zu dem ist der umtriebige Chef immer nett und zu einem Plausch aufgelegt.
