⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A flavor explosion on potatoes! I was absolutely thrilled with my visit to Erdapfel Hamburg. I opted for the "Grinch," and the combination is simply brilliant. The interplay between the spicy curry sauce and the kale with the sweetness of the caramelized walnuts and pomegranate seeds is particularly amazing. Add to that the fig mustard dressing and the wild garlic aioli—you can taste the high-quality, fresh ingredients used here. A great place for anyone who wants to eat vegan/vegetarian food but isn't interested in boring, standard fare. The portion is satisfying and leaves you feeling happy. Highly recommended!

I finally tried it out yesterday and I'll definitely be back more often when I'm in the area. Super friendly, super delicious. My only tiny complaint: Nicely decorated, but I find the seating really uncomfortable.

We were already thrilled with this place during our last visit to Hamburg two years ago and went back several times. When we returned today, we were immediately recognized. The people are incredibly friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious and something different. The portions are very generous; you'll definitely leave satisfied. The only hard part is choosing because everything is so good! 🥰 I'm already looking forward to the next time.

We were there for dinner at 4:00 PM with three people. The restaurant wasn't very busy at that time, and the tables were free. You order at the counter, and you can watch the food being prepared. All the salads and dishes have a large potato as a base in the middle, with the other ingredients arranged around and on top. Our drink order was taken and brought promptly, and the food arrived quickly as well. It was very fresh, visually appealing, and tasted delicious. Highly recommended for vegetarians and vegans; we'll definitely be back.

Very tasty food, but the menu is limited, as the restaurant's name says it all. The young waitresses are very friendly and don't even let the dog go thirsty. For larger groups, there are only small tables.

A vegetarian fast-food bistro at its finest! The portions are very generous, and for the price of €5.90, there's nothing to complain about. Very tasty variations of kumpir. These pictures show the Mexicano and the Tandoori Masala. At lunchtime, like almost every bistro/restaurant in downtown Hamburg, it's very busy. So be prepared to wait!

You can experience just how much you can get out of a simple potato in this small but exquisite restaurant bistro. I was very surprised by the variety and flavor possibilities when combined with a "simple" potato. The portion size is absolutely reasonable and filling. The house iced teas and concoctions are delicious and refreshing. All in all, a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. It feels familiar, unobtrusive, and a place where you feel at home. I'd gladly return!

If you want a seafood burger, this is the place to go. The location is excellent, you can sit outside in the summer and enjoy the view. I really liked the burger – the buns were fresh, as were the fries, and the beer was great too.

This is a must visit restaurant if you are in Hamburg. Even if you are vegan, vegetarian or just open to trying new things, this is the place! Each potato meal they can provide in a vegan option. It had a super relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and the service was really great. The food was delicious; I would definitely go back and try the amazing, creative combinations. I also personally appreciate the fact that this restaurant has a purely vegetarian menu. All baked potatoes are available in vegan versions.

The prices are more than reasonable and everything is fresh and lovingly prepared. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience. The stuffed potatoes sounded interesting, but the taste was rather disappointing – rather bland and poorly presented. I was particularly struck by an employee with a beard who seemed very unmotivated and showed little interest in being friendly. It's a shame, because the concept had potential.

I'm not a vegetarian person, but I joined my wife here who prefers vegan. And we were both handsomely rewarded. They food they serve here was first of all very nicely presented. And there were big portions with a big variety of items mixed in there. And it tasted soooo good. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is out for a good meal. There were three of us in the restaurant and we easily found a seat. The food was ready quickly and very filling. The staff was very friendly and competent. The selection of vegetarian toppings is extensive, yet still straightforward. Upon request, toppings are also available vegan or as an extra topping. The baked potato tasted fresh and was nice and soft inside. There are relatively few seats outside, but it was very quiet.

Your comfort food for when Deutche Bahn disappoints you. Even if it's every other day it won't deplete your budget. A variety of topping sets on themes from Indian to Middle eastern, all of which can be made vegan, saves you decision-making powers on creating your own mix. Unlike DB trains, the orders here arrive quickly and the place is quiet and uncrowded—no need to push through small doors and fight for a sweat covered seat. I give it bonus points for a overhearing a topical exchange about Kartoffel recipes at a table next to me. My potato needs were met two-fold and I was well-fuelled to face the DB train seat-fights again.
