I haven't been so positively surprised in a long time. Everything was really good, I'll be back soon!!

I was recently on the island with my family and friends for a family celebration and I have to say, you don't just feel like a guest but as if you were in your own living room. The ambience was great, the hosts, especially Princess Lorene, MEGA, the food was very good. Short - highly recommended.

Food was great! Service was a bit hectic, but it was also busy and understandably quite loud. Unfortunately, we sat right next to the sliding door, which opened and closed in one go, and the heaters didn't help much when it was below zero outside. Next time you make your reservation, make sure you get a different table and will definitely come back.

I had dinner here today in the run-up to Christmas. The ambience is beautiful and a mix of tradition and modernity. Everything was very clean and tidy. The service was super friendly, even though they were definitely stressed. The food is fresh and extremely tasty. I can recommend the veal schnitzel without hesitation: first class. In winter there is also a fresh ginger-lemon tea here. I would definitely like to come back.

Walked in after a concert because it looked nice from the outside. Staff was immediately at our table and served us quickly. Everything was perfect special thanks to Yusuf and the bar man who speaks English.

Event location, many groups at the same time, therefore a little louder and more restless. But service was well under control. Food was good and was served almost at the same time for a large group.

I have rarely eaten as fantastically as I did in this restaurant! The penne was cooked absolutely perfectly - al dente and with a sauce that exceeded all expectations. Every forkful was a delight and definitely the best penne I've eaten in my life. Simply unbeatable! I also loved the drinks. The Caipirinha in particular was excellent: fresh, mixed just right and incredibly tasty. Perfect to round off the delicious meal. The atmosphere was stylish and cozy, and the service was extremely friendly and attentive. All in all, a wonderful experience that I can only recommend to everyone!

We celebrated our wedding in this beautiful location on the upper floor and were simply thrilled! The ambience alone convinced us when making our selection – simply fantastic. The food was really excellent and not only impressed us, but also all of our guests. A special thank you goes to Lea, who accompanied us throughout the planning in such a personable, friendly and professional manner. She was always available, courteous and implemented our wishes perfectly. But the entire service team was also fantastic. The staff were attentive, friendly and made our day unforgettable. We can only highly recommend this restaurant/location - for us it was the perfect place for our wedding!

A very nice location in itself, but at the moment it seems a bit soulless and therefore less well attended. Unfortunately, the kitchen is not good, the fish was dry or oversalted, the schnitzel looked like frozen food from the deep fryer, the cucumber salad was floating in the water, and there were dried onions on the pike-perch. You expect a little more in Eppendorf. But service was very nice and attentive. But food could really be improved.

I had the pleasure of DJing at a wedding on Eppendorfer Insel and I have to say: it was just great! The location is really nice – the atmosphere was super inviting and perfect for a celebration. The food? Simply delicious! The guests were absolutely thrilled with the food, and I can only confirm that. You could really tell that there was a lot of love in it. And the staff was really great! Everyone was super friendly and helpful, which made the whole event even more enjoyable. All in all, I can only recommend Eppendorf Island! A great place for special occasions where you simply feel good. I'm looking forward to more events there!

Solid restaurant, the dishes are okay but the prices are upscale. We were expecting more of an upscale kitchen and restaurant and were therefore slightly disappointed. Nevertheless, everything tasted good.

I was incredibly satisfied. The service was very good and the food was delicious. Especially the waiter named Yusuf gave us suggestions from the menu and he served us great. Then he took great care to bring my cards that I had forgotten on the table. The communication was very uncomplicated. Definitely one of my favorite places here. A place I highly recommend! ☺️✨

Despite a confirmed online reservation, we found ourselves in front of a closed company. Anyone who already offers online reservations should be able to keep track of things and if something goes wrong, at least inform the customer or cancel. For us that was it with the island, there are enough restaurants in Hamburg.

We celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday with the family in the evening. Although there were two other private parties celebrating in the house, no one got into each other's way. The service was great, very attentive, quick and extremely nice. Yusuf looked after us and you can tell how much joy and passion he brings in his job. Thank you, dear Yusuf :-)

Super delicious food, beef fillet and gnocchi are each extremely well balanced and the meat is fried perfectly. Value for money is great!

Simply fantastic! What I/we like best is the service. This is really great and the waiters are all very helpful and attentive, but they are not annoying. it's not too much. The food is also good, the only thing I would like would be small snacks like olives and stuff that you can eat every now and then. Otherwise, I can highly recommend the restaurant, we like being there and have found a great location for drinking wine and socializing. Keep it up!

We arrived at a very nice, cozy location. Great on a summer day with the roof open :) the pizza arrived very quickly and tasted great too. A very well topped stone oven pizza (perfect ratio of sauces, crust and toppings :D). The team is very open and accommodating. A great recommendation for a cozy evening ;)

Aperitif, pizza, schnitzel, and wine were delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. The service was attentive and quick. We'll be back.

Very good food and delicious drinks. The winter garden is great and is certainly suitable for the winter. The staff is incredibly friendly and we were allowed to sit in the winter garden despite the pouring rain after work and were given umbrellas for the way home. Dear team, we'll be back 😍

We made a reservation a day in advance for three people, two adults and our son, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We expected to have a wonderful time. However, when we arrived, our table wasn't ready. Instead, they added a table to another group's seating area, right in the walkway, and suggested we sit there. For a supposedly high-quality establishment, this is unacceptable! They ruined our celebration, and we ended up not having dinner because sitting in a walkway with strangers on our special day was simply not an option, especially when we had a reservation! Our evening was completely ruined!

We celebrated our wedding in the loft on Eppendorf Island at the end of May and were more than satisfied. We and all our guests enjoyed the food (buffet “BBQ Sommerfreude”) wonderfully. The service was very attentive and friendly the entire time. The rooms and tables were stylishly decorated and absolutely suited our taste. We can definitely recommend the location warmly.

It has a nice, rustic design, nice furniture. The food itself was quite good, it tastes good and fills you up. Service was nice and tried hard but very slow and inattentive. At a wedding you waited a long time until the buffet was set up. The company was there at 5 p.m. and the buffet opened after 7 p.m. After several requests, the dessert didn't arrive until after 10 p.m.... for a small party with small children/elderly people who go home earlier, too long and too late. More attention and more staff for weddings would be desirable.

Very nice shop. The staff is very nice and the food is really good. The location in Eppendorf is really nice. You can go for a great walk right next door after eating.

We enjoy being guests here. The restaurant is beautifully nestled between the Haynspark and the Alsterwanderweg. An inviting atmosphere and large windows that let in lots of sunlight. In warm weather you can sit outside beautifully. The food is of good quality and the menu is extensive but not overloaded. The service is sometimes a bit confusing, but always nice and accommodating.

The restaurant is very nice. We sat on the terrace in the shade. There's actually nothing to complain about - except, yes, except that the asparagus could have been a little more. The ratio of hollandaise sauce to asparagus was not right. But it tasted very tasty.

We rented the event room upstairs for my father's 80th birthday and were very satisfied. A buffet with drinks was booked and we were served very friendly by the staff. They were very friendly and immediately fulfilled our drink requests, but also remained discreetly in the background and refilled unnoticed. The selected dishes in the buffet were all cooked to perfection and tasted very tasty. Highlights included the salmon, the delicious grilled vegetables, the antipasti and also the thinly sliced ​​fillet meat. Sparkling wine, orange juice, seltzer and wines that tasted good were served. It was a very nice celebration for us, and the employees also contributed to its success with their service and the delicious buffet, thank you very much!!

Rating from November 17, 2023: Great and friendly service. This saved a lot. We were sitting in the winter garden with a larger group and the heaters made it warm on top and cold on our feet. It's been 13 months since my first drink expired and the food portions vary greatly in size. With the salmon, for example, there were three mini potatoes as a side dish. That's a cheeky calculation. The pizzas are very large. Overall, the taste of the food is good, but not special. Since there were two weddings at the same time, there was one toilet for all other guests (male and female) that was not inviting. See photo By the way, the food from the video on the website (sushi and schnitzel) is not available! Addendum from February 4th, 2023: So because of a 2 star rating with a lawyer to remove these knocks and to deny that the rating was ever a customer, it is almost worth lowering the rating to 1 star. And then to talk about the ability to take criticism... You can definitely comment on reviews here. I'm not surprised that the reviews here are mostly positive when everything else is regularly deleted. I would have been willing to form a second opinion again. But this behavior shows me that this is not necessary.

We celebrated our wedding in January 2024 with 70 people in the Insel Loft - on the 1st floor - and we are consistently happy with our decision. We were professionally and lovingly accompanied during the preparations and the staff accompanied the evening perfectly and attentively. Warmest recommendation to all future married couples!

Perfect place. High quality products, delicious menus and a great atmosphere. I can definitely recommend it. Don't leave without drinking a glass of wine in front of the fireplace.

The food and service were really solid. The employee kept asking us if everything was good and really tried to provide optimal service (although we were the only ones in the restaurant). The restaurant has three parking spaces directly at the house, you just have to be lucky there. There isn't much choice, but everyone should still find something. There is an extra menu for the dessert, which we had to ask for again, but everything was really tasty.

We celebrated our birthday there with about 50 people and had a great evening. The location is stylish but relaxed, the buffet was good, the music system was provided and technically very well supported. But I would particularly like to highlight the team, who were super professional, friendly and helpful both in preparation and in the evening. Overall, a location that I can warmly recommend.

Ein ganz zauberhafter und leckerer Abend wurde uns in der Eppendorfer Insel geboten. Das Personal ist professionell, aufmerksam, hilfsbereit und vor allem freundlich und fröhlich. Die Karte ist klein, aber fein. Da erkennt man die frische Küche. Die Gerichte werden ansprechen angerichtet. Geschmacklich waren Anti-Pasti, Lachs, Rinderfilet, Trüffel-Pasta und Bratapfel-Tiramisu ganz hervorragend und einfach mega lecker. Hervorzuheben ist auch das faire Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, das sich sich in der Hamburger Gastronomie so nur noch sehr selten finden lässt. Tolle Location zudem. Insgesamt: hier stimmt alles! Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Da wir an einem Samstag da waren, war es etwas busy und somit einiges nicht ganz optimal (zwei Feiern zur gleichen Zeit) Der Service hat das aber mehr als wett gemacht. Wir sind über die Festtage schon wieder da und freuen uns sehr darauf.

Das Essen und der Service war einwandfrei. Insbesondere der junge Kellner hat uns nicht nur heute, sondern auch schon bei den letzten Malen mit seiner positiven Laune angesteckt. In Kombi mit dem super Ambiente immer wieder ein tolles Erlebnis!

So the atmosphere is cute and people are very nice. The red wine also was really good but we ordered main courses from the Christmas menu and I gotta say for €50 per person it certainly could be better. Many of us weren’t impressed by the quality of either the salmon or the duck dish. However, I saw very nice looking dishes going around so maybe just order something else! Disclaimer: my experience might not generalize because we had our institute’s Christmas dinner there.

Das Ambiente ist nicht hoch genug zu bewerten. Der Service ist fleißig und freundlich, die Unterbesetzung ist allerdings zu spüren. Leider wusste das Essen nicht zu überzeugen. Mehrere Speisen waren nur lauwarm, der Fisch war totgebraten. Schade!

Als Hochzeitsfotograf durfte ich schon mehrere Hochzeiten in der Eppendorfer Insel begleiten. Der Service ist jedes Mal großartig, das Essen super lecker und unter dem Dach kommt immer ordentlich Stimmung auf. Bis zum nächsten Mal! :-)

Ich habe meine Geburtstag gefeiert in der Eppendorf Insel und es war wirklich so wunderbar schön wie die Frau Albers alles geplant hat. Ich, meine Familie und meine Freunde hatten so eine unvergessliche Zeit. Ich danke euch wirklich für alles.

Meine Frau und ich haben hier dieses Jahr unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Wir waren vorher häufiger in der Eppendorfer Insel essen und nach der Hochzeit ebenso. Das Essen ist immer vortrefflich und die Bar ist sehr umfangreich und auch nur zu empfehlen. Besonders wollen wir uns bei Alex, dem Leiter des Serviceteams, bedanken. Gerade in der Vorbereitung auf die Hochzeit hat er uns jeden Wunsch ermöglicht, war immer als Ansprechpartner verfügbar und hat die Feier in der Eppendorfer Insel ohne Zwischenfall zum Erfolg geführt.

Tolle Location und super Essen in hoher Qualität

Ich habe die Eppendorfer Insel nun schon einige Male besucht und bin jedes Mal sehr zufrieden hier. Meine Begleitung und ich fühlen uns immer sehr gut aufgehoben hier. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön und sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Service ist zudem sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Essen schmeckt uns außerdem jedes Mal sehr gut. 5/5 Sternen! Einen Besuch lege ich immer wärmstens ans Herz!
