Tour down to the Keller was a wonderful experience. A meal at the Biergarten afterwards is a must.

Great location. Especially at night with the lanterns, in my opinion, it's the most beautiful place in Erlangen. Prices are steep, but that's just the Erlangen standard. The beer is very good, home-brewed, and there are several, sometimes changing varieties. However, I recommend the Schaufele (shovel) or the Haxen (ham), as the sandwiches or Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) aren't quite as good value for money, even by Erlangen standards.

Fantastic location, friendly staff, delicious food, and good beer. If you haven't been here, you haven't been to Erlangen! Greetings from a northerner.

This is quite a benchmark for large events. Providing food and drinks to over 2,000 people at the same time, and with this level of quality, that's respect.

Beautiful cellar with a wide range of dishes

The ambiance is nice in itself. What's completely unacceptable is the behavior at the bar/food counter. First, they grunt at you that almost everything is sold out, and then they give you disrespectful, stupid comments when you ask for a side dish for the very mediocre second choice. It wasn't my first time, but after that, I'm sick of this place.

We had a corporate event here; it was very fun and spacious. It's hard to imagine what this place looks like when it's all full. I'd like to mention the keg beer I drank here; it was delicious. This place has a history; you could stroll through the cellars, which I took advantage of. The amount of beer they once stored and cooled here is simply astounding. They say these underground passages total 21 km.

Very vibrant beer garden on the edge of the city. Really enjoyed my night here, they serve good food and have live music during the weekends! The beer is priced fairly and is really nice, definitely go here when visiting erlangen for the true Bavarian experience!

Nice place for food and drinks. The service was a bit inflexible and resulted in considerable wait times despite the low volume. However, it was slightly overpriced. The kitchen staff could be better organized. But it was nice.

Very unpleasant behavior at the bar today: The bar staff noticed that there was too much foam in the mug and told us to come back later for a refill, as they couldn't refill the mug until it was "full." Then we came back for a refill, but it wasn't possible because the mug was "empty." Dear bar staff, I don't want a new beer, just the one that was underfilled, which you noticed, and I paid for anyway. That works very well with an empty mug. So, today I created two dissatisfied local customers, who would certainly have each drunk two more beers. ...so not so soon...

Amazing beer and fantastic ambience

You have heard of the famous beer gardens in Germany, especially those in and around Bavaria. These is a typical one to visit. The thing I like most is that they are accommodating: you can bring your own food to supplement and enjoy with the sold beverages or purchase your meals or meals there. It is a great way to enjoy good German beer, people and the outdoors.

Definitely Erlangen's most beautiful beer garden and the only beer cellar open continuously from April to September. A wonderful ambiance in the city on the Burgberg under shady old trees. Since 2022, the brewery has also been operating in the old cellar vaults, offering a variety of delicious beers. Pick-up is available. Not a given: You are allowed to bring your own food for your snack. However, the Franconian specialties offered there are all highly recommended, including, of course, the flagship dish: "The Duck" from the grill. A very positive aspect: You can practically always find a free seat, also due to the opening hours, daily except Mondays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. I personally prefer the beer garden outside of peak hours or during special music events. It can quickly get extremely crowded. Long lines at the bar or for food are the result. The free parking lot is also overflowing. Whether you have to cater to every zeitgeist, for example, by offering your own "veggie" counter, is in the eye of the beholder. You can offer chili sine carne, but you could still have kept the chili con carne. All in all, a 100% recommendation. Number 1 in Erlangen.

Erlangen's beer garden, located on the Bergkirchweih grounds, boasts beautiful trees decorated with lanterns. A visit in good weather is always worthwhile.

A very nice beer garden/cellar, open even outside of the Bergkirchweih festival. I love the ambiance. You can also rent tables for events. The food is delicious, but some of the portions could be a bit larger, especially the fries... The house-brewed beer is great, including some craft beer creations. The service is good, but you have to pick everything up yourself, which doesn't bother me, although you can wait in line for a while on busy days. All in all, always worth a visit 👍

Beer was expensive and half empty. When I asked about it, I was harassed. By the barman AND then by the manager. Here, customers are made fools of with warning because they can afford it...

Excellent local atmosphere, breathtaking beer and the priest of beer church made our evening unique, spiritual experience. We trully enjoyed the unity of man, beer, and the mountain.

A safe bet for celebrations in Erlangen. Good food, excellent beer, plenty of seating, and a great atmosphere are guaranteed when the weather is nice. I highly recommend it 👍.

Absolutely beautiful beer garden with the best beer in the world

It's super nice in the summer, and the beer is good too. If you want something non-alcoholic, you'll unfortunately have to pay €4.50 for an apple spritzer, which is a bit excessive. The ambiance is green and pretty thanks to the many colorful fairy lights. You probably shouldn't eat here if you're really hungry; the portions are really small for €10-15. But they do have vegetarian and vegan options, which is definitely worth mentioning. There's a play area for kids :)

Extremely overpriced, and you'll have to explain to me what that has to do with shakshukka. Without eggs, it's just tomato soup with peppers in it?

Beergarden with a difference! Entlas Celler in Erlangen, if you really looking for a cool and unique beer garden then this is one not to miss. Make sure to pay a visit to the brewery tour which takes place every Thursday evening and Sunday morning for a unique tour with a unique guide of the Beer sellers constructed around 1755 some of the oldest in Germany.

A very nice, rustic, Franconian beer garden under old trees. The cellar opens directly onto the Erlanger Berg hill. Various beers, a large selection of food, something for everyone. I had the classic 1/4 duck with dumplings and red cabbage, very good 😋. Definitely recommend 👍

The cellar is fantastic, with plenty of space for every need/event. The food is also very tasty, but unfortunately, the portions are so small that on our last visit, everyone at the table was hungry after eating – and that's at rather steep prices (at least for a Franconian cellar). So we're left with mixed feelings: the beer is delicious, the food selection is very good, and the quality is also good – you just can't be particularly hungry.

It was my first time in Erlangen, and I think I was shown one of the best spots. A cozy atmosphere, delicious beer, and hearty food to go with it. Even though I admittedly don't know Erlangen well, I can't imagine a better place for a warm summer day.

YouTuber Leon Elektronik once tempted me to try Entlas Keller with his fantastic documentaries. My first visit even exceeded my expectations. The best dishes were the Wipa pork and their home-brewed beer 🍻 Question: Is the pork actually from local pig farmer Gerd Beier?

Outrageous food prices. For a voucher worth "half a chicken with a bun," you now only get one "portion" = "quarter chicken with a bun." The main thing is that you've spent the money for the voucher beforehand.

Erlangen Bergkirchweih was great!

The visit to the Kerwa was great. A colleague had to leave early, so 5/5 beer mugs 🍻 Joking aside, the location is really cool; we had a pleasant seat under the trees and awning. The service was friendly and prompt. We'd love to come back to the cellar sometime!

This review only refers to a change to the menu! Up until now, I've always been a fan of Entla's Keller, and I still am. Unfortunately, this year someone had a "really good idea." The half chicken suddenly became a portion of chicken. I fell for it the first time, but that won't happen to me a second time. A portion of chicken. So, a quarter of a chicken with a tiny dollop of potato salad. First of all, I didn't get full, and I don't even want to talk about the value for money. I guess it's called profit optimization. Organic or not. To the person with the "really good idea": Score 6!

If you're passing through Erlangen, you have to stop by this bar. It's located a little higher up in Erlangen. You can buy drinks and bring your own food.

Berchkerwa am Entlas. Good beer, beautiful weather, and pleasant company. A meeting place for all generations.

The Entlas Keller is open not only during the Erlangen Bergkirchweih (Bergkirchweih), but also beyond. I was there this year during the Bergkirchweih. The ambiance and seating were good. The atmosphere was good, too. The food was okay. Only the service at the Entlas Keller was a bit unfriendly and visibly overwhelmed. Of course, service at such a large event is a challenge. But it could be much better, especially since it affected virtually all of the staff. Hence the overall rating of only 3 stars.

Been there for the Bergkirchweih, great atmosphere

It's quite disappointing that you can't even pay with last year's beer tokens at the Bergkirchweih, which was always possible without any problems in the past (I would have paid the surcharge compared to last year in cash, of course). These days, the most important thing seems to be to rip people off with completely unnecessary and abysmally ugly brother and sister hoodies, as well as with wildly overpriced food, alienating customers who have been loyal for decades. The family atmosphere that prevailed under senior boss Fritz is now history. A real shame!

Back in the basement after a long time. It was quite well filled and the beer tasted good too. Only the cash registers/booths were quite tense and sometimes not well organized.

At the Kerwa in Erlangen... what an atmosphere in a shaded area where beer mugs and sausage brotchens dance among the crowds who have come to party and taste typical Bavarian dishes.

Unfortunately, the food was terrible... charred sausages and cold cabbage... €13.80!! Should be doable elsewhere!

The beer cellar tour keller Führung, is an absolute must! The guide was a delight, he has so much knowledge and it was like experiencing a movie. There is a nice surprise in the tour which we didn't expect, definitely do it when got a chance. The food and beer is good. Beware during burgfest though.

Erlangen's best cellar! 😁 Especially since people brew here themselves - the brewery is a gem, albeit well hidden! Absolutely worth seeing, well planned, superbly built into the rock. Congratulations to the master brewer, it was certainly hard work, but it was worth it. You can see it, but above all you can taste it! It's hard to get away from under two measures! Price per measure is okay at 8.50.
