Sehr gutes Essen, Portion reichlich und tolle Atmosphäre

Guter Freund und ich haben unseren 55ten mit > 80 Leuten bei Dean und seinem Team gefeiert...also die ganze Bodega gemietet und das Team machen lassen. War wirklich HAMMERGUT und auf diesem Wege noch einmal ganz, ganz dollen Dank - so viel Engagement, Herzblut und Gastfreundlichkeit findet man kaum noch. Die Truppe macht alles möglich - und auch preislich alles gut...gern wieder, dann zum 60ten oder so...!

Ich war Samstag an meinem Geburtstag zum ersten Mal in einem Pub. Wir haben Karaoke gesungen und das Essen war klasse 🙃.

Einfach wow, ich hab vorhin spontan für meinen mann und mich online bestellt. 1. Das Menü ist der Wahnsinn so viele leckere Sachen. 2. Ich dachte hui die Preise sind ordentlich aber ja gut hab insgesamt 85€ gezahlt und haben 4x "snacks" bestellt dazu 2 Burger. Der liferrant war SUPER lieb total freu dlich und auch wirklich super das es von Bad Iburg bis nach Dissen geliefert wurde. Als das Essen dann da war und wir die Boxen geöffnet haben, haben wir uns gefragt was sind das den bitte für "Snacks" HALLELULIJA das sind VOLLE Mahlzeiten gewesen haha ouh und alles so so unglaublich lecker. Dieses Restaurant hat Jegliche gute Rezesion verdient. Die Preise sind anhand der unfassbare Riesen Mengen vollkommen legitim und gerecht. Wir haben das erste und zu 100000% nicht das letzte Mal dort gegessen und oder bestellt.

Das Essen war in Ordnung und schmeckte. Bei den Getränken waren 2/3 nicht vorhanden und es besserte sich im Laufe des Abends nicht. Die Bedienung war freundlich und bemüht aber von gut ein gutes Stück entfernt. Ambiente nicht wie gewünscht.

Wir haben heute bei dem besagten Laden bestellt und ich muss sagen welchen solchen Läden geht unsere Gastronomie kaputt ! Unser essen war ersten kalt, und zu dem teils verbrannt teils roh! Diesen Laden sollte man dem Gesundheitsamt melden ! Ich kann nur davon abraten dort zu bestellen oder zu essen , wenn einem etwas an seiner Gesundheit liegt !

It was our first time there and we were very satisfied. Friendly staff, good food, everything was perfect. We'll definitely be back.

Aside from the rather mediocre whiskey selection, this is a very nice pub with reasonable prices. P.S. Maybe give the dart machine a bit of a TLC; it's really annoying when the darts don't stick because the board is full of broken dartheads.

Great food, great ambience, great people

We were there today with our four children. The exterior reminded us of the originals in England. Inside, you immediately feel like you're in the same boat. A very authentic look! The best part, though, was the incredibly friendly host – very friendly, helpful, and provided pens and paper for the kids (never experienced that in a pub before). The steak and ale pie was very good, and the generous portion of curly fries was enough to satisfy all the children. It's a shame we live so far away – it's a wonderful place where we felt very welcome and comfortable.

Burger is good, service is also okay, ambience has something special too, overall a good place to enjoy your burger.

Unfortunately, it wasn't really good. The room was dirty, the table and benches were sticky. The latte tasted like water. Unfortunately. There was also a dog running around freely, begging at the table. You don't really need that when you go out to eat.

Nice to see an english pub in Germany. Maybe that day, the chef is tired. The food were hmmmmmm salty, overcook. Pitty.

The two of us came here and really enjoyed it. The food selection was typically British, and there was also a delicious selection of beers! The food was also very tasty! The price was reasonable, too. The shop itself is quaint and very cozy; we liked it. The service was also super friendly! We'd love to come back :)!

Pretty rude staff and poor reception. You come in, no hello or what can I do for you. You just get looked at stupidly or ignored. It's a shame... actually we just wanted to go out for a nice meal...

I was there for karaoke and will definitely be back. Interesting people, a cool atmosphere, and delicious beer by the pitcher at a reasonable price.

A cozy pub. The staff is very friendly, the ale is delicious, as is the food and there is something for everyone when it comes to whiskey. It's also worth finding out about the program in advance; for example, karaoke and whiskey tastings are offered there. I had an ale, a whiskey and food. Can't complain about the price, very fair.

The pub in Bad Iburg was really a very good experience. The ambience was really good. What we particularly liked was that the head of the kitchen coordinated our orders with us again before serving. Well, it tasted fantastic. Many thanks to the entire team.

This was our first time at the Red Lion. The ordering process takes a little getting used to, but it's not bad. The food was really tasty and the portions were huge. The drinks menu is extensive. We'll definitely be back!

We’re two Americans staying in the area for a vacation and love this place! First impression was how nice the staff was to us with our ten words of German. The chef in the kitchen is British and makes the typical English dish something special. Salads were fantastic and all of the standard dishes like the fish and chips were delicious. Prices are great, food and drink selection are excellent. This pub has a lovely, comfortable old time atmosphere with a fireplace and gorgeous bar. There’s live music on Friday. Most importantly, the kitchen does a good job serving really good food! We made the effort to come back a couple times while we were staying in the area.

We met there in a small group for karaoke. The food and drinks including Mexican were really good and fair. The staff was super friendly all night and always had an open smile for every guest. Unfortunately no more Guinness The food was rather mediocre (stuffed minced meat pocket)... And unfortunately...it was uncomfortable, cold! Leaving a sweater or jacket on in a bar... doesn't go well and advises you to leave earlier... what a shame! All in all I remembered it better

We were here for the first time. It's something different than the German bars here. We will be back.

As authentic an English pub as you can find in the heart of London. We enjoyed a proper fish and chips in a relaxed atmosphere. I'm personally not a fan of peas in general but even they were tasty (and authentic british flavor). From the Londoner wife: "felt like home away from home"

Definitely best pub& restaurant around Osnabrück. Food and atmosphere very authentic. Used to live in UK and this is even better place as any other pubs I've been to. I can definitely recommend.

Ordered by phone at the Red Lion. Delivery took 1 to 1.5 hours as announced. Unfortunately all the dishes were cold, packaged carelessly and the price...totally overpriced! €72.60 for a steak with some chips and a mini coleslaw. Some salad with extremely dry beef strips, a chili cheeseburger and a portion of cheese chips, the red lion burger we ordered for our daughter was forgotten... Charged anyway!! I called directly, unfortunately I only had the answering machine on the phone. Still waiting for the call back!

Burger mit Chips gleichbleibend sehr gute Qualität. Immerwieder gerne! Und die Karaoke-Abende sind einfach legendär!!! Das darf man nicht verpassen. Jeden letzten Samstag im Monat geht da die Post ab! Danke für die vielen unvergesslichen Momente bei euch. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder!

Der Burger war echt lecker, aber die Beilage. Katastrophe. Wenn ich schon Geld an euch bezahle möchte ich gutes Essen bekommen und nicht schwarze Fleisch Stücke die man nicht kauen kann. Der Burger war lecker die Beilage katastrophal 28.07.23

Das Essen ist wirklich lecker! Das Fleisch auf den Burgern ist saftig und die Soße super abgeschmeckt. Empfehlen wir gerne weiter.

Leckeres Essen, gutes Bier, gute Musik und sehr netten Bedienungen auch der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich. Hab wie gefühlt dort als würde ich in England sein im pub

Corona hat das Red Lion sehr heftig beeinflusst. So war am Wochenende jeden Tag die Hütte voll und auch in der Woche , wenn der Ball rollte, ein großartiger Treffpunkt. Aber auch die TV-rechte und eben Corona machten ein Übertragen unmöglich. Und somit komme ich persönlich irgendwie gar nicht mehr IN das Lokal. Über Facebook bekommt man aber mit, dass es viele viele Highlights gibt's , wie z.B. St. Patricks-Day oder zuletzt 111 Jahre Titanic. Klasse. Stuart lässt sich da immer wieder was schönes einfallen. Der andere, von mir meist genutzte Punkt, der von Corona beeinflusst wurde, ist das Anbieten eines Lieferservices. Ich sage immer wieder: Iburgs beste Burger. Die Auswahl dieser ist vielleicht gering. Aber solange es den Londonburger gibt und ich diesen mit Spiegelei bekomme (Tipp von mir ;) !) brauche ich auch nichts anderes. Nirgends woanders bekomme ich Mangocurry Creme zu Nachos. Sehr lecker. Und immer wieder bekomme ich Gäste und schlage das Red Lion als Möglichkeit vor, Essen zu bestellen. Und alle waren sie hellauf begeistert. Das sind die ca. 50 Minuten Wartezeit immer wert.

Super nettes Personal, gutes Essen. Macht Spaß hierhin zu gehen. Immer wieder gerne. Karaoke ist auch immer wieder cool. Es ist egal ob man singen kann oder nicht. Hier steht der Spaß im Vordergrund. Alle sind hier willkommen.

Ein Top english Pub, wo einfach alles passt. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar und das Pub sehr gemütlich. Man fühlt sich wie Zuhause in einer super Atmosphäre. Lidia und Stuart sind einfach nur mega. Ich freue mich schon sehr auf die kommenden Abende bei euch!

Nice to have a piece of England in Germany but I'd hoped for an English barman which wasn't the case. Expensive but Huge portions of standard food. My first pint arrived after the food. The extra toppings I ordered for my burger never arrived so had to wait another 5 minutes then another 5 minutes for the fries. Bad service all round.

Sehr empfehlenswert ! Wir hatten den London Burger und den Mega Burger und genauso haben sie geschmeckt ! 👌 Die Lieferung war super schnell und das Essen war noch heiß.

Das Red Lion ist immer wie nach Hause kommen, auch wenn man nicht aus England kommt. Immer nettes Ambiente und feundliches Personal. Dazu lecker Essen und eine umfangreiche Getränkeauswahl. Selten habe ich micg so wohl gefühlt und schöne Abende verbracht.

LIEFERSERVICE Das Essen ist ok. Kein Highlight, aber ok. Die Preise auf der Homepage und bei Lieferheld sind nicht identisch. Laut Homepage Lieferservice ab 8€ ABER 5€ Liefergebühr. Das wird leider vorher nicht mitgeteilt. Von Bad Iburg nach GMH schon krass. Dabei haben wir extra nicht online bestellt, sondern angerufen. Schlussendlich keine gute Idee. Online 7€ Liefergebühr und bei anrufen 5€. 2€ mehr, aber wir hätten bestimmt die korrekte Bestellung erhalten. Vor Ort bestimmt cool, aber als Lieferservice eher mittelmäßig. Waren super nett. Werden bestimmt mal vorbeikommen, aber dann besser nur für Getränke.

als authentischen pub würde ich 4 sterne geben...aber das Essen? Der Gegenwert passte einfach nicht, baked Beans, Fritten und der Steak Pie, das teuerste ist das Steak und davon waren nur Spurenelemente vorhanden, auch geschmacklich war das meilenweit von richtig gut. Aternativen wären Opa Joe oder Road Stop in Münster, beide um Welten besser. Die Burger sind standart weder schlecht noch besonders. Werde nicht nochmal zum Essen hin, die Alternativen sind zu gut.

Eindeutig dieser britische Pub zu empfehlen, sehr nette und freundliche Bedienung, sehr leckeres Bier mit gute Musik oder auch schon mal coolen Videos. An der Kreuzung gibt es immer wieder was zu sehen.

Das ist nicht meine Vorstellung, weil ich soetwas nicht kenne. Aber nette Leute.

Bietet freundliches Personal, gutes Bier, einfaches leckeres Essen und kurze Wartezeiten. Draußen sitzt man direkt an der Kreuzung, daher sehr laut. Achtung: Hier wird im englischen Stil bedient, man muss an der Theke bestellen, sofort bezahlen und kann dann Getränke zum Platz mitnehmen.

Sehr stilvoll-typisch Englisch. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Gepflegter Außenbereich mit vielen Sitzplätzen. Sehr nette Bedienung, leckeres Essen und hervorragende Getränke. Tolle Whiskey - Auswahl, da Hobby des Inhabers.

Wir sind durch Bad Iburg durchgefahren und haben den Pub gesehen. Auf der Rückfahrt haben wir dann hier ein paar Pints getrunken. Ich hab mich sofort wohl gefühlt und werde sicher wiederkommen, z.B. zum englischen Frühstück.

Tolle Burger dazu Fussball auf Sky oder nett Kickern,Darten. Hier wird es nicht langweilig und der Chef selber ist immer zugegen und immer für ein Spass zu haben

Engelsk pub midt i Tyskland. Koldt øl og traditionel indretning. Engelsk vært. Mad kan man også købe, men det er som forventet pub-mad.

Also zu den Getränke kann man nichts sagen, viel auswahl von frisch gezapftem Bier, der Preis lässt sich aber drüber streiten. Service war okay, war aber schonmal besser. Das Essen war zwar viel aber dafür sehr fettig.

As an Aussie travelling in Germany sometimes you crave something familiar & The Red Lion hits the spot. Very authentic feel, we ate there every night of our 5 night stay in Bad Iburg. Had a top feed, good Gin & Tonics & welcoming host, nothing more to do but sit back & relax. We visit each year & will continue to do so :)

Besonders im Kaminzimmer herrscht eine gemütliche/rustikale Atmosphäre. Große Bier/Whisky Auswahl. Und super freundliches Personal.

It was an average attempt at a British Pub. Beer selection wasn't very inspiring. Food was good portions of average food.

Das Red Lion ist ein typisches englisches Pub und wird von einem echten Engländer geführt. Die Auswahl an Bier und weiteren Getränken umfasst den deutschen Standard und englische Köstlichkeiten. Es gibt ebenfalls ein in Lienen eigens für das Red Lion gebrautes Hausbier. Die Speisen umfassen die typischen englischen Pub Varianten. Zu empfehlen sind die diversen Burger, aber auch klassiker wie Fish&Chips und die Pies. Als Unterhaltung bietet das Red Lion Fussballübertragungen, Pokerturniere, Livemusik und diverse andere wiederkehrende Aktionen. Zusammen mit der sehr schönen Atmosphäre ist das Red Lion immer wieder einen Besuch wert.
