My wife and I went there for dinner. We sat outside, and the service was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the burrito plate, but unfortunately, the food was pretty tasteless. I would like to ask the management to visit the restaurant one weekend as an anonymous guest and try the beef enchilada.

I have to say I'm very disappointed with the quality of the food—and unfortunately, I wasn't the only one. The entire table received dishes that were tasteless and fell apart. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant, which is very annoying, as I'd heard so many good things about it. However, I won't be setting foot in this place again.

We were here on a Thursday and really enjoyed the dice game for the cocktail prize. This meant we had delicious cocktails at affordable prices! We'll definitely be back!

All in all, I had a very successful evening. The service was very friendly and the food was delicious. Some dishes are a bit pricey. I had loaded nachos for €10, and that was completely reasonable. I still had some of the toppings until the last bite.

This was my second time at Enchilada and I'll be back again and again. The atmosphere is simply so relaxed, and the service is always friendly and attentive. The food is delicious, and the margarita is a dream 🥰 I recommend making a reservation, especially on weekends.

On busy evenings (e.g. cocktail cubes) you have to be a little patient with the service, but they still make a great effort to always satisfy the guest.

Unfortunately, I haven't had a proper meal here yet. But I can say that the drinks, service, and location are top-notch. Even after five visits, there's nothing to complain about. Everything is consistently great 💪

A stylish ambiance with a cool bar – you immediately feel at home here. The truly extensive and exciting tequila selection is a real highlight, especially worth mentioning. The staff is also impressive: super friendly, attentive, and with a pleasant, friendly approach – you can tell that service is a top priority here. I was a little less impressed with the food, however: it tasted solid, but rather average. The portions are quite small, and the prices are comparatively high.

The service was simply fantastic. The food and drinks were also delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming.

We were there with a group of 11 people. The service staff were all really great: All orders arrived quickly for the size of the restaurant, and no one was forgotten. We felt very comfortable there. And the food was delicious!

The Enchilada is actually a really nice place, especially the cocktail dice which is a great offer. I've always had nice service in the past. But unfortunately it wasn't great at the weekend, as I was there last week I was given a Sarti voucher. The waitress told us you should log in using the QR code and then write a positive review on Google. We did that, but when her colleague came over she said we wouldn't get the voucher until next time. The page with the supposed voucher was suddenly gone. The waitress suddenly said we wouldn't get the Sarti until our next visit, even though her colleague said we would get it straight away after the good review. As a guest you unfortunately get the feeling that the whole free Sarti was just a trick to get good Google reviews. What a shame, I've always felt at home here. It's a shame that the staff were so rude when asked questions, and no one knew exactly what was going on. Perhaps they should clarify things within the team if they're going to hand out vouchers like this. The same thing happened to a group of girls, as far as I know. It's a real shame!

The call before arriving at the restaurant to ask if I was really coming and if I could only stay for two hours immediately put me off a bit. The service was good, except for one time when a friend didn't like her drink at all (homemade lemonade). Instead of bringing her an alternative, the waiter just took it, poured more syrup into it, and brought it back. The drink wasn't finished. The food was so-so; the quessadillas were mushy and not crispy; in general, we only really enjoyed the nachos and sweet potato fries.

A wonderful evening with super friendly service

I used to eat at "Enchilada" in Osnabrück quite often, but it's been closed for a long time. My expectations (and those of my partner) were accordingly high. I found the ambiance appealing. The noise level was okay for me. The service was good and attentive, but the food was disappointing for both of us. The three tacos without a side dish were more of an expensive appetizer (luckily, I had already had a bite to eat at the Maschsee Festival). The burrito with dry rice as a side dish, which my partner ordered, also tasted far from what we're used to from Mexican restaurants in our area. I also find €20 for three small tacos without a side dish and a 0.4l Pepsi completely overpriced. The three women at the next table complained about the taste of their cocktails, which were also significantly more expensive than, for example, at Extrablatt. So we moved on to enjoy better, cheaper cocktails.

I've been there with my family a few times, the last time in June, and it was okay until then. Today's visit was a complete disaster. The Jumbo drinks, as well as the smaller ones ordered during Happy Hour (Jumbo for 9 euros!!!), didn't contain a single drop of alcohol (which is a blatant scam), and the food seemed to be 25% lighter than the same dishes ordered two months ago. I don't know what happened to this place, whether the owner or the kitchen and bar staff have changed, but it's not the same place it used to be. Overall, it's not worth it; a waste of money.

A complete disappointment. Jumbo cocktails during happy hour with three types of spirits tasted like non-alcoholic ones. When asked, they told us it was a light version (but that should have been stated on the menu). A steak that lay lonely and forlorn on the plate with some herb butter cost 29.60 (which is quite expensive) and was served with garlic bread that didn't taste of garlic and was quite hard. The chicken burger was barely the size of a beer mat for 16.90. It was a disgrace, especially since I only asked for the jalapenos. The guacamole was also omitted. When the waiter asked if everything was okay, I gave my criticism, and the waiter argued that it depends on where you're having a burger and a lot of other things. So, all in all, this place is no longer an option for us, as there are plenty of others in the old town. I also don't think the German-English names for most of the dishes are a good thing. Unfortunate

My recent visit to Restaurant Enchilada in Hannover left much to be desired, particularly for anyone with an appreciation for authentic Mexican and Latin American cuisine. While I had hoped for a flavorful and enjoyable meal, the experience was unfortunately quite disappointing. The most perplexing and frankly off-putting aspect of the meal was the presence of a heated avocado. This was genuinely disgusting and completely contrary to how avocados are prepared and enjoyed in traditional Mexican dishes. Avocados are meant to be fresh, cool, and creamy, providing a refreshing contrast to other flavors and textures. Heating them turns them mushy and can impart an unpleasant bitterness, entirely ruining their natural appeal. This single detail was a glaring indication that the culinary approach at Enchilada significantly misses the mark. Beyond this particular culinary misstep, the overall quality of the food was subpar. It lacked the vibrant, fresh flavors and careful balance that characterize true Mexican and Latin American cooking. It felt as though the dishes were prepared without a clear understanding or respect for the rich culinary traditions they aim to represent. I sincerely believe that Restaurant Enchilada needs to invest in some serious research and development regarding authentic Mexican and Latin food preparation. A deeper understanding of the ingredients, techniques, and cultural context would undoubtedly lead to a vastly improved dining experience for their clientele. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment to those seeking genuine Latin flavors.

Nice place, but since they changed the menu, it hasn't been as good. If you sit in the middle, it gets drafty in cold weather because of the terrace, but in the summer it's cool again.

Great Mexican with super friendly service

If you like it loud and lively, this is probably the place for you. For us, it was a bitter disappointment. The food was absolutely subpar. The burtito was impossible to cut with a knife. The filling was careless, lacking in flavor, and very dry. In a blind tasting, I would never have guessed what was supposedly in the burtito. The beer is too expensive at €5.90 for 0.5 liters. The fried cauliflower florets were good, though! For me, the place shines with its good service. Even if the food were significantly better, I wouldn't recommend this place for dining because it's incredibly loud. I think it's better to party, be loud, and drink here than to enjoy a good meal, which is a shame.

Enchilada Hannover immediately captivated us with its atmosphere: a lovingly designed interior, warm colors, Mexican details around every corner, and stylish neon signs like "Viva la Vida Loca" and "Mexico mi amor" immediately convey a holiday feeling. The menu is diverse and creative – both in terms of drinks and food. We tried several dishes; everything was fresh, lovingly prepared, and incredibly delicious! A particularly positive aspect: The decor is also pleasing to the eye – each plate is a small work of art. The service was friendly, attentive, and well-organized, despite the restaurant being packed. The combination of atmosphere, flavor, and hospitality makes this a truly feel-good spot. Perfect for a relaxing evening with friends or a special occasion. Definitely not our last visit 😊

Horrible shots 😭 expensive for nothing, the waitress seemed to yell at me when I moved, even though it was only one table away and I specifically asked. I work in the restaurant industry myself, and that's just not acceptable. I felt very uncomfortable afterward.

The food is delicious – but €20 for a platter for two people is way too much when the portion is barely enough for a child. The cocktails: hardly any alcohol, they cut corners here, and they really don't taste great. It's a real sadness to see a chain permanently closed. We were looking for an alternative, but couldn't find it here. But: our service was excellent :)

The cocktails are good. I miss the copper mug for the Moscow Mule. The food is also okay. The biggest issue is the noise level. It's hard to have a conversation. We've been there several times, and it's not really a normal conversation—you almost have to shout at each other. Add to that the loud music, and you're almost using sign language. What I thought was really nice—as a birthday child, you get a free cocktail.

We were here on Saturday, when the Fete de la Musique was in full swing! We still received good, friendly service and the food was absolutely delicious! We highly recommend this restaurant and would love to return!

We were given a seat at the front by friendly staff. Overall, the service was really nice and the location was great for selfies, but unfortunately the meat substitute in the burrito and tacos didn't taste good at all.

The food was good but when we got the cocktails my girlfriend picked up the glass and noticed that a big stick had fallen off and was in the glass. We took the broken glass to the waiter and he said we would get a new one. We both had to pay even though we got a broken glass. I can't even imagine what could have happened. Then I get the thought that who knows whether they really look at their glasses and cutlery properly and pay attention to hygiene and broken things? Questionable and very disappointing.

We visited Enchilada Hannover on a Saturday evening to celebrate my husband's birthday – with a total of seven people. Even beforehand, the reservation was somewhat unusual: I was told on the phone that a table reservation was only possible for two hours and that we would have to vacate the table afterward. After I explained that we wanted to celebrate a birthday at midnight, I was offered a table starting at 10:30 PM instead – which I agreed to despite the restrictions, as we had previously had good experiences with the restaurant. When we arrived, however, we still had to wait about 15 minutes for our table despite a firm reservation – we found this unreasonable for a restaurant of this size and reputation. After being seated, we ordered drinks and food. The quality of the food and drinks is worth mentioning – they tasted really good. Unfortunately, the service that evening was overall disappointing: The wait times for drinks were extremely long, so that at times we only received about one drink per hour. Furthermore, the staff was noticeably unfriendly and unhelpful. A particularly unpleasant moment occurred around midnight when we wanted to cut a small birthday cake we had brought with us. A waiter told us that cutting it was permitted, but eating it was not. This was incomprehensible to us, especially in the context of a birthday party. The end of the evening was equally unfortunate: When paying, I gave the waiter a tip of two euros on a bill of almost €190. His reaction was clearly negative – we found this inappropriate. A short time later, as we stood outside the restaurant, the same waiter returned with our cake and asked if we wanted to take it with us. Disappointed with the entire evening, we declined. Overall, the evening was unfortunately disappointing. Despite the good food, the service was unacceptable – both in terms of friendliness and organization. This was likely our last visit.

For foreigners or people looking for authentic TexMex, this probably will not do it for you. However, that doesn't mean the food is bad. The corn was really good. However, the chicken enchiladas were covered in a very bland creamy sauce reminiscent of mayonnaise and salad dressing. They did have hot sauce on the table, but it was only jalapeno based and was quite salty. The Margaritas were surprisingly good as well. Lastly, the outside tables in the middle of the old city gave a great background.

We dined at Enchilada for the first time yesterday on our 38th wedding anniversary. The cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, were delicious. The food was exceptionally tasty and plentiful. We received excellent advice from the extremely friendly staff. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We will be coming back more often. The only criticism is that it was very loud, but that's not the restaurant's fault; there were a lot of people there....;)
