Really good restaurant. The service is excellent and we even got a place at very short notice. The food is great.

We were there to drink cocktails. All the cocktails we ordered were great. Went there during happy hour and the price-performance ratio was definitely right. If there was no happy hour, I would almost find it a bit too expensive. The three of us then ordered an appetizer (house-made nachos) and were surprised at the huge portion and they were also very tasty. All in all, for 3 cocktails, 3 jumbos and 1 appetizer + tip 50€ you can't say anything 😉 The service was also quite good.. would love to come back to sip cocktails 🍹

Nice place, young and fun atmosphere, prices a bit expensive for the city. The main problem is that the seasoning of the dishes is too mild. Mexican food is supposed to be spicy, sour, bitter, and salty, and this is very lacking in the dishes. And falafel is a Middle Eastern dish, not Mexican.

There used to be a good chili con carne; Now there are only quick dishes in microwave quality: adios!

Bei der Reservierung wird extra abgefragt ob es besondere Wünsche gibt. Dort habe ich meinen Geburtstag angegeben, welchen ich auch gestern dort gefeiert habe. Bei der Bezahlung habe ich nachgefragt, ob es denn ein EXTRA für den Geburtstag gibt und da ist ein NEIN gekommen. Hier gibt es nichts zum Geburtstag! Sehr schade und auch enttäuschend. Werde an besonderen Anlässen gewiss nicht mehr ins Enchilada gehen und es auch keinem weiterempfehlen!

We didn't like the taste of the taco but the drinks were good

The service is rude, rude and rude. It would be better to offer self-ordering at the checkout. Your order will be processed more quickly and without errors. Since the waiters walk around the store with their heads down, like sleeping pills anyway. We reserved a table by phone and when we got there we were told the name wasn't on the list. The reaction was very unfriendly and after a bit of back and forth we were brought to a table. Food was very expensive and the portion was a joke and also cold. The taste was okay, but nothing that I can't make quickly at home.

Wie immer sehr leckeres Essen! Leider war mein Partner etwas enttäuscht, dass es durch eine Änderung der Karte ein Produkt, was er sehr mochte, nicht mehr gab.

Wir hatten einen schönen Abend zu zweit, die Bedienung sehr freundlich,angaschiert und hat uns super beraten, das Essen war traumhaft, genau so stellt man sich Mexiko vor. Wir kommen sehr seh gerne wieder.😊

Long waiting time and overpriced.

The food and cocktails tasted good. The service was very friendly. We were there on Saturday when the weather was nice and we had a shady seat. Our dog was immediately brought a bowl of water.

Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. In terms of taste and preparation, there was nothing that would correspond to great Tex-Mex cuisine for us. Prices are very high for medium portions.

The wrong food was brought to me. The service was very unfriendly. We asked for some salt. After 30 minutes of waiting, we gave up and just ate it. We got the wrong drinks 3 times and didn't hear any other apology. Super nice shop but unfortunately service is zero.

Zero recommended. For such an outrageous price you really get everything except something edible. My coconut kiss tasted like dirty earth with sugar. Although I told the waitress that my drink tasted disgusting and there was no strawberry taste in it, they cheekily told me that there was definitely strawberry in it.. the drink was white and brown because of the wooden garnish.. the ambience was also inedible and extremely dirty and dusty. In short, ZERO recommended. Better go somewhere else

I would like to thank Juliano very much for the excellent service. Even though the kitchen was already closed, he still accepted my order of churros. He was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Such commitment and customer focus cannot be taken for granted. Thank you, Juliano, for this great service! We'd love to come back.

The chicken fajita is excellent and the staff is fantastic. The frozen mango mojito is also fantastic.

After this experience, you seriously wonder what else to say about it. There was pure resignation in the kitchen and in the service. Unfortunately, I had the dubious honor of trying the “Burrito Carne” which was only half finished. The contents consisted of a mushy mixture of minced meat, rice and quinoa. Neither grilled vegetables, cheese, refried beans or spices could be found. I noticed this after the first bite, so I contacted the service team. The answer from the kitchen was simply: “It has to be that way.” The drinks have also deteriorated, especially the margaritas, which now only taste like sweet ice water. What happened to the restaurant and why this indifference?

Hier her werde ich wohl nie wieder einen Tisch für ein Geschäftsessen noch privat reservieren. Das Personal war unprofessionel, das Ambiente sehr laut und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis zu teuer für warm gemachte Convenience.

Looks great inside but that’s where the good stuff ends. Ordered the Carne burrito which had 0 meat content or jalapeños. It was full of quinoa, peppers and courgettes. All the cheap ingredients. When questioning the waiter he took the dish to the kitchen then appeared saying it was the carne and the meat was chopped up. Seemingly chopped to the point of non-existence or mush and clearly no visible jalapeños. It was completely tasteless so they managed to chop out the flavour also. The waiter thought an appropriate solution was to bring out seasoning pots and had dumped a handful of cold chopped jalapeños on top. We also ordered 1 chicken and 2 carne tacos. They sent over 3 chicken. The quesadillas were floppy wraps that hadn’t been fried which also was tasteless but could just be their choice of preparation. A poor choice. Corn cob was not cooked through and inedible. Upon paying the first waiter had disappeared and a lovely lady was sent to take money. I advised I would not be paying for mine as it was awful and I had barley touched it. She graciously took it off the bill. We tipped her as she seemed genuinely sorry for the poor food. I’ve been lucky enough to have been to Mexico and tried multiple versions of todays food and even that fact aside this food is terrible. In summary if you get the food you’ve actually ordered it’s probably going to be tasteless so I’d avoid this place like the plague.

Das Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut, die Prtionen dürften etwas größer sein. Die Cocktails waren lecker. Der Service war sehr freundlich und immer sejr bemüht, bei allen Fragen zu helfen. War unser erster Besuch, aber sicher nicht der letzte.

Nie wieder, zum Glück, gibt es genug Auswahl an Restaurants in Ulm. Die Bedienung war freundlich und schnell Vorort. Die Vorspeise war Kalt, wenig dips. Das Essen war katastrophal, geschmacklos und auf dem Teller einfach platziert. Avocado sollte gegrillt sein aber war nur gewärmt. ( Ekelhaft) . Sehr viel bezahlt für schlechtes Essen. Das schlecht Ruf für mexikanische Gerichte!!! Getränke war ok. Kann das Restaurant nie empfehlen!!!

Ambience was good, just loud and big. It took over 30 minutes for us to order the food and almost an hour for the food to arrive. There was a piece of meat on the vegetarian meal, the mayo was expired and the sweet potato fries were only lukewarm. Otherwise the food was delicious. The service was nice but extremely overwhelmed.

Absolutely fantastic Mexican food! I got the quesadilla pollo and it was the best quesadilla I’ve ever had. My husband got a couple pollo and carne (not sure what kind of meat) tacos and said the chicken was the best, but that all were good. Also, the atmosphere was perfect from the brick walls to the chandeliers to the Spanish music. Service was great as well. Definitely recommend!

Anyone expecting Mexican food here will be disappointed. All dishes ordered (burrito, tacos and mixed platter) were almost unseasoned. I miss typical Mexican spices like coriander, garlic, chili, cumin, etc. The "Mexican" rice is a pulp made from quinoa, which is also used to stretch the meat fillings in the burrito. Unfortunately, the tacos are not crispy, but rather grayish, soft dough flats and I didn't like them at all. The photos in the menu do not correspond to the actual dishes received. The ingredients listed are only contained in trace amounts. I'm really disappointed with the food. This has nothing to do with Mexican.

We were there last Saturday and were rarely greeted as unfriendly as by the young lady who served there. Hardly any people outside and inside, the drinks came in 3 stages because we had to keep pointing out that something was still missing and when we didn't want to eat anything (due to the circumstances), the unfriendliness that had already existed was even more noticeable! She even shouted at her male colleague in front of the customers that he should look into his device when he asked us nicely if we wanted anything else or if everything was okay. A pity ! But I have to mention that EVERYONE else (except her) was extremely nice and friendly to us. Maybe the operator should consider training her again on how to behave professionally in the business, otherwise he may part ways with her.

We were there with 10 people on Saturday evening. Service was friendly. Organization was a bit messed up and one drink was forgotten, but that can happen. The food tasted very good and was very tasty. It was someone's birthday and the waitress had Happy Birthday playing, which was very nice. Thank you for that. The only point of criticism was that apparently one meal wasn't paid for and no one could prove that we really forgot. Please be more organized.

So the food was really, really good and very tasty and that's the main thing. The ambience is also very nice, except for the tables. They are not made for tall people. I hit my knee first. We men couldn't sit properly because the table below was too low. We asked the waitress if we could change the table and her answer was: yes, but it is reserved in half an hour and we couldn't eat that quickly. I asked again as I couldn't sit. Then she said, what if the next customers complain. We then got the table by the window and it was great. After us, a 2 meter tall man came to the table, which made me, a 193cm man, feel sorry for me. As for the drinks, one cocktail didn't come, the excuse was that it still needs to be made. Food came super quickly. But no cutlery, the side dishes only came long after the main course, which could have been the starter. But it was super tasty. A fries had been completely forgotten, we asked and it didn't come. Then we said to a waitress we don't need it anymore. When all the plates were cleared, the fries suddenly appeared on the table. We said no and didn't want them. While we were eating we waited 25 minutes for a beer and actually stopped the time. After eating we didn't want to drink anything anymore. When we paid 124 euros approx, we did so with a card. The waitress looked at us expectantly and then asked, because we didn't say round up, whether everything wasn't ok. My friend had a 10 in cash in her hand, which she then put away. Begging for a tip is not an option. We wanted to give some in cash even if she didn't deserve it. But not like that. We rounded up to 130 with card. Conclusion: Nice ambience, great food. Service, well... We will come back as everyone deserves a second chance. Hopefully the service will be better then.

Normally I really like this rest. but yesterday we have ordered grilled chicken which unfortunately was not good and we couldn't eat and touch it but ıt has been still charged and we paid.For this kind of issues there should be policy that--> If the customer didn't eat what has been served money shouldn't be taken by the customer I am not chasing 20 eur but, ı am not happy in overall Additionally , I am happy with the workers and behaviours, I am not judging them :)

We went there mainly for the drinks. The cocktails are very tasty and beautifully served. You don't have to wait long for the drinks. During happy hour times, the cocktails are also very inexpensive these days. The tortillas and churros are perfect as a snack.

One of the best restaurants ive been to. The food was super delicious, everything we ordered was amazing! The service was fast and nice and the atmosphere was very pleasant as well. Would for sure recommend and visit again! P.S. Its also very vegan friendly.

It was quite empty for a Friday and we noticed that the quality had dropped significantly. The drinks arrived after 30 minutes and we were able to order food after 1 hour. This came quickly, but was partly the wrong thing and cold - the sweet potato fries were cold, the baked nachos were covered with a cold cheese plate. We were there last time 2 years ago and were really disappointed this time.

Ambience is great, service was nice and attentive. For my taste, the food lacks the typical Mexican flair, although the taste is not bad. Something that is WOW and unique is missing - but you can still have a decent meal here!

Not only was the sauce expired and the food quality abysmal, but when I dared to question the dubious freshness of their offerings, they swooped in like culinary ninjas, snatching the offending bottle from my grasp faster than you can say "health code violation." And as if that wasn't enough, they had the audacity to forbid me from capturing evidence of their gastronomic crimes by snapping a quick photo. It's like they were trying to cover up their culinary incompetence! Talk about shady business practices. Avoid the Enchilad Restaurant at all costs, unless you're in the mood for a taste of expired sauce and a side of censorship.

We went there as a family. There was something delicious for everyone. Be sure to reserve in advance as the restaurant is very popular.

Essen war wie immer hervorragend, allerdings sind die Preise schon sportlich.

If you're going for the Mexican food or drinks, don't come here. Better off at Die Halle. Pro is ambiance inside is cosy, outdoor seating is not as noisy as expected for Neue Straße seating. But food was terrible (quesadilla is half filled, enchiladas and burrito sampler all tasted the same) and our cocktails weren't good either. Service was the most comical. I ordered my food and drink with the server, and before she took my friend's order, I asked if I could change my drink. She rolled her eyes and said she had already fired it to the bartender, so she couldn't change it (first time I ever heard of that). When I asked why as it wasn't even 5 seconds ago, she insisted it was too late. But our table wasn't the only table served this way, she was short with all the tables. But other servers on other sections seemed friendly. Won't come back either way though.

It was very noisy, the service wasn't good, too many guests for too few staff. It is very noticeable that it is a chain that focuses on profit optimization. To be greeted and told first that the table will be reserved in 2 hours doesn't give you the feeling of being welcome as a guest. There is definitely still room for air while eating; Ben, the cocktails were good.

Rarely experienced such bad service. We were greeted unfriendly at the door because we were two fewer people than registered. After waiting for a while we were allowed to order drinks and then our food after another wait. When the food came, we discovered that the starter had been forgotten. When we asked, we were told this had been forgotten and whether we still wanted it now. We affirmed this. The food was ok, the meat was a bit dry. As we were about to eat our late starter, the waitress, who had forgotten to forward our starter order to the kitchen, came and said "you know that you have to leave in 10 minutes?! I'll pay you off now" . When I asked as a prophylactic whether everything was OK, I complained about the long waiting times and that unfortunately our starter had been forgotten and therefore we weren't finished yet (there were still a few tables free, so it wasn't that there was a massive rush) . The waitress then said, without apologizing, “that can happen.” Unfortunately, it may now happen that this is the last time I've been a guest here and I certainly won't recommend the enchilada.

The traditional Mexican food here tastes very tasty, looks attractive and offers enough variety. There is also something for vegetarians and vegans. The service is good. The cocktails also taste good. The ambience in these catacomb-like rooms is of course bomb. However, it is a bit noisy and the prices have also gone down in some cases. Some of them are ok in terms of price and some of them... yeah expensive.

I have no problem with prices having to be increased due to VAT. But please don't make the portions smaller. I paid €25 (including drink+TK) and was hungry again when I got home. Otherwise everything was great.

Unfortunately I was made to pay for what I hadn't eaten. I noticed it later. When I did the math at home. I paid ten euros more by card. Otherwise everything is ok. Therefore service deduction. Maybe the waitress should listen better when you say a dessert is a dessert. And even with the extra dessert, strangely enough, I paid 5 euros more than I should have. Wonder what went wrong.

Service desert Germany is a foreign word here! Our service was so on the ball, but not intrusive and super friendly. She gave us a really nice evening. Thank you again at this point! We'd love to come back! I had the No Meat Burger and it was delicious!

Das Ambiente ist super, die Bedienung ist in Ordnung. Leider war das Essen nur lauwarm und zu wenig gewürzt. Aber es wurde wenigstens noch einmal warm gemacht. Im Großen und Ganzen war das Essen solide. Mein Cocktail hingegen hat nur leider überhaupt nicht nach Cocktail geschmeckt, es war gefühlt wenig bis gar kein Alkohol drin und das obwohl ich es ohne Eis bestellt hab. Und es war auch nicht in der Happy Hour, Für über 8 Euro war es zu teuer für das was drin war. Ein Plus gibt es jedoch für die Bedienung und das Ambiente. Ich war allerdings letzten Somner da, da waren die Cocktails gut. Aber diesesmal leider nicht. Ich bin gewillt es nochmal auszuprobieren, weil eben das Ambiente toll ist.

Wir waren zu dritt erstmalig mexikanisch essen und sind begeistert. Die Location ist wirklich schön gestaltet und schafft eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Das Essen war vorzüglich und wir fiebern schon dem nächsten Besuch entgegen. Dem ganzen hat das Servicepersonal das Sahnehäubchen aufgesetzt. Schnell, freundlich und kompetent, so muss das sein.

Die Preise sond teuerer geworden, und gleichzeitig die Fleischmengen weniger. Als Gast merkt man das schon. Zu alledem war das Essen kalt und man wurde aufgefordert nach 2 Stunden zu gehen. Das finden wir unverschämt.

Wir waren schon öfter im Enchilada, wieder nach längerer Zeit, und vor allem die Qualität des Essens hat nachgelassen. Ein gedehntes OKay passt wohl am besten ...

Leider mussten wir nach 2 Stunden tatsächlich bezahlen und den Tisch räumen bzw verlassen da er neu vergeben war... Das war weniger toll, wir durften dann auf der Nottreppe oder Terrasse austrinken... Und sind gegsngen Das ist alles andere als empfehlenswert.

Delicious food with great ambience (but a little bit expensive)

We have been eating at Enchilada for many years. There are always new delicacies to try and, above all, many vegetarian options. The cocktails are incredibly tasty and also affordable during happy hour. Price-wise it's not the cheapest, but it's reasonable.

Great food, great service. The Veganuary menu was a great idea, I've wanted to try "printed non-meat" for a long time. The non-flank steak fajita really convinced me, the appearance and consistency are as original as beef and the slight vegetable taste goes really well with the vegetables and sauces. I'm so glad I was able to do this experiment!

Wir haben die vegane Version der Fajita probiert und müssen wirklich sagen, es war hervorragend. Wir hoffen wirklich, dass diese Version des Steaks dauerhaft in das Menu übernommen wird, dann kämen wir mit Sicherheit deutlich öfter. Lob an die Küche! Es war ein Samstag und entsprechend ziemlich laut, aber auszuhalten. (:

Das Ambiente, der Service und das Personal waren wirklich gut. Das Essen war etwas ungesalzen und der Geschmack war nicht so gut, wie ich erwartet hatte. Ich kann nicht sagen, dass es schlecht war, aber Preise/Performance war niedrig. Ich würde natürlich gerne zurückkommen und dem Ganzen noch eine Chance geben. Ich hoffe, dass das Essen beim nächsten Mal besser sein wird.
