A really great steakhouse, excellent food from starter to dessert! Staff very friendly and always trying hard, keep it up. Always happy 👍🏽👍🏽

It's just way too loud, the waiters are very polite, but the shift management causes unrest in the otherwise beautiful facility. Too bad

Been there several times! The food always tastes great! Freshly prepared and exactly the right size! The side dishes are also highly recommended.

Great store. No matter whether it's the Wagyu steak, the Emskind burger or the sweet fries together with the Emskind sauce. The food was outstanding. The only point of criticism that is a high level complaint: the plates. We had a plate that was a bit worn at the corner. The atmosphere was very pleasant and cozy. Here, too, a small point of criticism, which is difficult or impossible to resolve, is that when it gets full, the rooms can quickly become noisy. The service was also perfectly fine. Very nice, very helpful and attentive, but not too intrusive. In general, a very good restaurant that I will definitely visit more often.

We had a wonderful evening in the Emskind a few weeks ago. Reserved for early Sunday evening as a precaution, but we experienced several spontaneous visitors who got a table without any problems. The service is present and friendly, but never intrusive. It was our first time at Emskind and we were very impressed when we came to the butcher's counter and were given expert advice from an employee about the right type of steak, quantity and cooking level. The cuts are then weighed at the counter and billed by the gram. Admittedly, we don't go to steakhouses often, but we hadn't seen the concept before and were very impressed. The steaks were later served perfectly cooked. The taste was excellent, and the same applied to the side dishes. Really great. When it comes to price, it must be clear to everyone that high-quality meat costs a lot of money and that competent staff cannot be had for free. In this respect, a steak evening at Emskind is not an everyday institution, but rather an idea for special occasions. Apart from the steaks, the prices for burgers, for example, are quite moderate, so you could certainly save here if you wanted. All in all: A thoroughly enjoyable evening in a lovely restaurant with delicious food and great staff. We will come back.

Ich war meinem Sohn eine Einladung zum Essen schuldig. Noch nie war ich bei Emskind, obwohl es ziemlich in der Nähe bei uns ist. Ich wollte ihm etwas Besonderes bieten. So besonders war es dann aber doch nicht. Als Vorspeise bestellten wir beide das Rindercarpaccio. Das hat ganz gut geschmeckt, aber ich habe es in einem Nachbarort schon um Klassen besser gegessen. Es war von der Konsistenz sehr matschig. Als Hauptgang hatte mein Sohn den Baconburger. Er fand ihn super. Dazu bestellte er sich Blumenkohl mit einer dicken Sahnesoße. Die wirklich viel zu viel war . Ich hatte ein Black Angus Steak 200g. Mit Pommes Majo. Beides perfekt und das Fleisch auf den Punkt gegrillt, wie ich es bestellt hatte. Auch super gewürzt. Die Sauce Bernaise war extrem lecker. Dazu hatte ich Blattspinat mit Erdnusssoße. Der Spinat roh ( ok, kann man machen), aber mit so langen Stielen, dass man ihn kaum in den Mund bekam. Er wurde von der dicken Soße und den halben Erdnüssen vollkommen ertränkt . Zu Trinken hatten wir 2l Sodastream- Wasser. Alles in allem habe ich 123,50€ bezahlt. Was ich zu teuer finde. Das Ambiente hatte Bahnhofshallen Charme. Mega laut und ungemütlich. Aber die Bedienung war sehr freundlich . Wie gesagt ich habe in der Nähe um Klassen besser und auch günstiger und gemütlicher gegessen. Versuch macht klug. Ein nächstes Mal wird es bei Enskind nicht geben. Schade.

The best that Rheine and the surrounding area has to offer if you love steaks and burgers.

We chose Irish steak that was recommended to us for €15.90/100 grams, grilled medium. Unfortunately one steak was almost done from the edge to almost the middle. I gave the steak back. The kitchen brought it back cut in half and said it was medium in the middle. It wasn't supposed to have string, but it did. The two steaks were clearly different in color. It was dry, fibrous and gray. I'm annoyed that I've resigned myself to the kitchen's explanation. The taste was not great. After our second complaint we were given a waiver of drinks. We are still annoyed afterwards that we were content with that. In short, it was very expensive and we definitely won't be coming back. The side dishes chosen were very tasty and the staff was very friendly.

The restaurant is really great, it tastes damn good. But if you want to order online you can no longer click to pay on site and that's really nonsense, they always tell you on the phone that it's possible, but this field simply doesn't exist anymore.

Side dishes were delicious, but my t-bone of 854 grams (115 euros) was burnt :(. I normally eat the entire edge of the fat, but I could not get through it. My wife's entrecote (84 euros) was, by the way, Good. Very friendly service, beautiful building, but I didn't think it was worth 255 euros (2 people, without dessert). I tipped the friendly lady nicely, but it was a one-time visit for us (unfortunately).

Wir waren unter der Woche auf einem Mittwoch ca. 18:30 Uhr da. Es waren noch viele Plätze frei, hätten daher nicht unbedingt reservieren brauchen. Nun ging es los... Service Top. Sehr freundlich und regelmäßig aufmerksam mit der Frage ob es schmeckt oder noch etwas benötigt wird. Essen einfach nur Spitze ob Vorspeise, Hauptgericht und Dessert. Sogar die Cocktails ... Gibt nicht viele die das so Super hinbekommen. Preis Leistung ist definitiv gerechtfertigt. Fazit: Kommen gerne wieder.

Emslind absolutely not recommended! After an hour of waiting, I was finally served a cold 250g steak. My ginger ale came in a glass that smelled strongly of vinegar cleaner. When I politely asked for a new drink I was told that their glasses are washed in the dishwasher and the smell was normal. Despite repeated requests, I never got a new ginger ale - but there were still two ginger ales on the bill! Absolutely disappointing. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!

Das Essen war super lecker! Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Es war ein sehr gelungener Abend und wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Update below... The food is of good quality. Burgers well stocked, lots of bacon (where there is bacon). The salad was good, fresh with a good portion of goat cheese. The service is courteous, and at peak times it can take a while, so please bring some time (you're not on the run...). You should try the Borchert beer and if you like whiskey, you will get your money's worth here. We would be happy to come back and can recommend the restaurant Update 9/20/24: Sharing SteakCut to share (from 2 people): If you want to experience something more unusual, you should try this: You choose different types of meat from the counter (advice included) and have it prepared and served as desired. You should only use a side order, I recommend the leaf spinach with peanuts and peanut butter or the rosemary potatoes. If you still have space, you can try the gold piece - Hmmm! Finally a Macallan Double Wood Single Malt.

The Japanese Wagyu steak is simply brutally delicious!!!

We were here for the second time. It's 100000% worth it. All the employees are very attentive and super friendly! There's nothing more to say about the food than: Simply awesome! The Nebraska Entrecôte Medium Rare is a highlight for every meat fan. We'll definitely be back.

This was our second time here today and I never thought it could top the already fantastic first time. From the wonderfully fresh bread with incredibly delicious butter to the absolute orgasm in your mouth thanks to the Nebraska entrecote and the perfect fries. Finally, the slightly warmed cinnamon roll with the chocolate mousse ice cream that I could have indulged in. The employees were incredibly friendly. Particularly noteworthy is the very friendly employee who “looked after” us. Perfect all around.

The “weird guy” isn’t so funny after all. He is honest. Honestly damn tasty - to date the best burger I've ever had. Crispy meat of great quality, which is not thick but thinly served in two layers, paired with great sauces and side dishes between a homemade bun, can be found here. The staff is also courteous and I would describe the prices as fair. Sometimes it takes a little too long for me personally from order to meal (40 minutes) - but it should still be within limits. I often got the burger after just 15 minutes. The ambience in the luxurious country house style with a meat counter and cupboard in the entrance area looks really impressive and inviting. For Emskind, the route from Osnabrück is not too far for me.

Der Service war super! Wir wurden schnell und freundlich bedient. Das Essen war auch richtig gut! Allerdings sitzt man dort nicht gemütlich. Es ist eng und extrem laut.

We had dinner at Emskind today. Unfortunately it was disappointing. There was marten in the lettuce on the burger and the meat was too raw for my taste. A new burger was brought in, the ruccola was no longer so fresh (the cut surface of the stems was brown). Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio isn't right either. The service was great, very attentive and the restaurant looks modern. But ultimately it's about the food and unfortunately that was disappointing. Unfortunately no recommendation.

Der Laden ist der Hammer. Hervorragende Steaks und absolut geile Burger. Vielleicht ein wenig zu hoher Geräuschpegel.

Essen und Service sind exzellent. Wir gehen regelmäßig ins Emskind und sind noch nicht einmal enttäuscht weggefahren. Der Geräuschpegel ist bei voll besetzten Tischen allerdings teilweise grenzwertig bis unerträglich hoch. Das könnte man bestimmt ändern. Aber fehlt es an Geräusch dämmenden Materialen. Ansonsten volle 5 Sterne und klare Empfehlung.👍

Die Jakobsmuscheln als Vorspeise waren schrecklich. Die Küche hat keine Ahnung, wie man sie zubereitet. „Schuster bleib bei deinen Leisten!“ Die Preise (zwischen 15,- und 30,- Euro pro 100 g) für das an der Theke ausgewählte Fleisch erwecken den Eindruck, dass die Küche dieses hochwertige Fleisch auch entsprechend gut zubereitet. Das ist jedoch nicht so. Das Fleisch war innen viel zu roh und kalt. Die Küche ist offenbar überfordert. Beilagen und Fleisch kommen nicht gleichzeitig auf den Tisch. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist schlecht. Das Ambiente draußen ist ungemütlich und wird gestört durch fahrende Landmaschinen auf dem Nachbargrundstück. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, aber nicht geschult und hat eine unklare Aufgabenteilung. Schade, aber keine gute Erfahrung, die wir nicht wiederholen werden.

The restaurant is bombastic!!! I just love everything there. The decor, the food, the friendly staff... everything. The steaks are the best ever 🤤 but also the rest of the dishes like burgers, salad, fries etc. And the limos... it's crazy honestly. You have to try everything.

Great steak restaurant, with many delicious alternatives for non-meat lovers. You can get great meat specialties, but also cheap burgers and fish dishes. There is something for every budget. The service staff were all very friendly and quick. We will definitely come back.

Great location with enough parking and seating. There is now also a beautiful outdoor area for cozy summer evenings. The burgers and side dishes are really great!! I don't think you can find similar quality or similarly good tasting burgers anywhere else in Rheine and Salzbergen. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right here at €7-12, depending on the extra supplements. When it comes to steak, price and quality don't go together for me.

Ungewöhnlich gutes Essen in rustikaler Umgebung mit freundlichem, hilfsbereitem und vor allem fähigen Personal. Die Fleisch Qualität war absolute Spitzen klasse, Gemüse und Beilagen, alles sehr gut zubereitet. Eine Empfehlung für jeden der gerne gut essen will.

We were at the Emskind yesterday and I have to say I am extremely disappointed. I had a burger that couldn't be worse. It was dry and the bacon was rubbery. Definitely not freshly made. The lettuce on the burger was already mushy and my side salad tasted of absolutely nothing. The service wasn't good. When serving, the side salad and Emskind sauce were forgotten. The staff was very friendly and tried hard. But I definitely wouldn't eat a burger there again.

After we were greeted very friendly, we had the opportunity to choose a place outside or in the restaurant with 4 people. As always, the service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Our special requests for the dishes were completely implemented and, as so often, the food was excellent. Fortunately, the next visit won't be long in coming.

Die Bedienung und auch das Essen waren top. Wir hatten Spareribs und einen Emskind Burger. Die Servicekräfte sind zwar noch jung, aber trotzdem wirklich gut und aufmerksam. Der Biergarten ist schön und ruhig, von der angrenzenden Landstraße bekommt man kaum was mit. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen.

I can 100% confirm the bad previous review because I was there. Unfortunately, the answer from the manager is just as unfriendly and unprofessional as from the restaurant manager! Because strangely enough, he wasn't even there and how can he then talk about insults that didn't even exist? We were very patient and didn't offend anyone who said that was lying. But of course we justifiably complained clearly but friendly about the completely unacceptable waiting time and incorrect cooking. And the restaurant wanted to charge us the full price, which was just as unacceptable. You just have to be able to expect that something like this would be dealt with in an accommodating manner, then it would have been okay and you could have chalked it up as a bad day. But the restaurant manager was simply arrogant and condescending, with no interest in an amicable settlement in the interests of the guests. The rest of the staff, who were very friendly and tried hard, were very uncomfortable with how things went and how we were ultimately treated and apologized several times. And yes, we waited 2 hours for our 3 medium steaks, because we could read that exactly on the order receipt. And the fact that all the steaks were medium-well is an understatement to say that it is absolutely disappointing, especially given the prices. By the way, many other guests also waited that long that day; we observed this and spoke to friends who also waited that long. If the weather is good on the weekend, you should employ more staff to avoid something like this. By the way, we don't need to be told that there are enough other restaurants in Rheine, because we wouldn't have come back anyway, because it simply couldn't be worse, which was confirmed by the lack of complaints management on site and here on Google.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Emskind and I have to say, from the moment I arrived to the last bite, everything was absolutely perfect. The service at Emskind was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Our waitress took the time to explain the different steak options and made excellent recommendations. The waiting times were minimal and we felt well looked after the entire time. Now to the most important part: the food. The steak at Emskind was without a doubt one of the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, with a wonderful crust. The quality of the meat was first class. The side dishes were just as impressive. The Emskind is a must for every steak lover. The combination of great food, first class service and pleasant ambience makes it a perfect place for special occasions or simply to treat yourself. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Actually a top shop. The burgers are amazing. Owner Frank is also a really good businessman. The waiter tried very hard, but the manager was slightly rude. We waited over 2 hours for our food. Although we asked regularly, Rumpstesk only works for 400 grams, otherwise it doesn't work in the contact grill (!!!). I complained about my steak (medium). It should be medium. Take a look at the pictures for yourself. When paying we also passed a reduced price, after some discussion, we got 30%, which is also valid legal practice. However, the restaurant manager told us that there are other restaurants in Rheine and that we (4 people) should go there. Make up your own mind.

Es regnete und stürmte an dem Tag. Blätter und Dreck im Eingangsbereich. Ich hätte mir gewünscht, daß der Flurbereich zwischendurch mal gefegt würde. So war das Hineinkommen schon etwas getrübt. Die Steaks waren vom Geschmack super, jedoch der Garpunkt war leider nicht an allen Stellen gleich. Das ist wahrscheinlich aber auch schwierig. Der Service war sehr bemüht um die Gäste, das war ein großer Pluspunkt. Alles in allem würden wir aber wiederkommen.

Wir waren gestern bei Emskind. Super Service. Steak und Pommes waren perfekt. Der vegan Burger war schonmal besser. Die Rezeptur wurde scheinbar verändert. Aber jedesmal wieder ein Besucht wert dieses Restaurant.

Top meat quality, nice, traditional atmosphere, super friendly service and goodwill, definitely worth the price but it's a bit too high for me. is a bit crowded in the later hours, quality speaks for itself To go to Emskind you have to know that you choose your meat from the counter before it is prepared, basically the grill version of the fish tank in the room, there is also dry age in the maturing cabinet, Here I had the opportunity to try Japanese wagyu, visually the food was well arranged and set in the scene, ps: why isn't the bread served warm, that's another plus for the taste and nose! Just bake briefly in the oven then out on the table, no fat needed, no oil needed, the heat activates the flavors in the bread again, just compare one just cut off and one warmed up, the taste is worlds apart ;-) In the interior, the walls are a bit bare and so the noise increases as the number of guests increases, there are definitely no sound-absorbing elements. Given the prices, you could afford to take care of the parking lot. Unfortunately, the pothole road in front of the house isn't any better even 1 year later. Even in the third year everything was perfect, but this time I found the constant questioning whether everything was okay annoying... maybe one person should do that and not every waiter!

Absolute recommendation - you definitely have to experience it once. We received expert advice in advance at the deli counter on the different types of meat and recommendations for an appropriate amount for 3 people. Both the selection of meat and, in particular, the excellent quality made us satisfied, happy and full. We had a mix platter for 3 people with 3 different side dishes. Of course we didn't miss the opportunity to try out the desserts and what can I say - a culinary delight! The service staff were very friendly and we will definitely come back again. I was there with some colleagues. My steak was very good. The burgers looked good too. It's worth a visit!

Unfortunately my wife's first steak was too well done. Immediately there was a large, new, perfectly cooked steak, along with wine and dessert on the house. Well responded, very nice!

Leider wurde das Essen sehr zeitversetzt serviert. Die ersten waren schon fertig, als das weitere Essen serviert wurde. Auf das Dessert haben wir wiederum 30 min gewartet. Angeblich wäre an diesem Abend nur an unserem Tisch alles schiefgegangen, man wollte es wieder gut machen, ist aber nicht passiert. Die Lautstärke war unerträglich. Bis auf ein Dessert (schlicht ungenießbar, vermutlich wurde irgendwas auf die Schnelle zusammengebaut, weil wir uns schon über die lange Wartezeit beschwert haben) war das Essen von guter Qualität. Da die Speisen sehr hochpreisig sind und der Service ausbaubar, werden wir nicht mehr wiederkommen.

Perfektes Dinner, Garstufe optimal. Immer wieder ein Highlight.

A very nice atmosphere. There are enough parking options. Menu is very clear and the food was very tasty. We were there on a Sunday, Mother's Day, and it was busy but not overcrowded. The service clearly needs to be worked on or more staff hired. There was only one condition, the poor thing was completely overwhelmed. My husband had to wait almost 20 minutes for his second drink, we actually wanted to leave and then the drink came. Otherwise everything was great. We would still visit the Emskind again.

The restaurant is beautifully located on the outskirts of Rheine. The parking options are very good. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice. The staff reception is friendly but not necessarily helpful. If you're there for the first time, it would have been nice to see how things work here. We just didn't understand the map. When we asked, we were told that you could choose the meat at the counter. The side dishes are ordered from the waiter. (Is waiter actually a protected job title?) The meat was very well prepared and of good quality. My companion had salmon. The recommendation of spinach with peanuts didn't fit at all. We would try again if we are in the area again.
