We had dinner at Emskind today. Unfortunately it was disappointing. There was marten in the lettuce on the burger and the meat was too raw for my taste. A new burger was brought in, the ruccola was no longer so fresh (the cut surface of the stems was brown). Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio isn't right either. The service was great, very attentive and the restaurant looks modern. But ultimately it's about the food and unfortunately that was disappointing. Unfortunately no recommendation.

The restaurant is bombastic!!! I just love everything there. The decor, the food, the friendly staff... everything. The steaks are the best ever 🤤 but also the rest of the dishes like burgers, salad, fries etc. And the limos... it's crazy honestly. You have to try everything.

Great steak restaurant, with many delicious alternatives for non-meat lovers. You can get great meat specialties, but also cheap burgers and fish dishes. There is something for every budget. The service staff were all very friendly and quick. We will definitely come back.

Great location with enough parking and seating. There is now also a beautiful outdoor area for cozy summer evenings. The burgers and side dishes are really great!! I don't think you can find similar quality or similarly good tasting burgers anywhere else in Rheine and Salzbergen. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right here at €7-12, depending on the extra supplements. When it comes to steak, price and quality don't go together for me.

We were at the Emskind yesterday and I have to say I am extremely disappointed. I had a burger that couldn't be worse. It was dry and the bacon was rubbery. Definitely not freshly made. The lettuce on the burger was already mushy and my side salad tasted of absolutely nothing. The service wasn't good. When serving, the side salad and Emskind sauce were forgotten. The staff was very friendly and tried hard. But I definitely wouldn't eat a burger there again.

After we were greeted very friendly, we had the opportunity to choose a place outside or in the restaurant with 4 people. As always, the service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Our special requests for the dishes were completely implemented and, as so often, the food was excellent. Fortunately, the next visit won't be long in coming.

I can 100% confirm the bad previous review because I was there. Unfortunately, the answer from the manager is just as unfriendly and unprofessional as from the restaurant manager! Because strangely enough, he wasn't even there and how can he then talk about insults that didn't even exist? We were very patient and didn't offend anyone who said that was lying. But of course we justifiably complained clearly but friendly about the completely unacceptable waiting time and incorrect cooking. And the restaurant wanted to charge us the full price, which was just as unacceptable. You just have to be able to expect that something like this would be dealt with in an accommodating manner, then it would have been okay and you could have chalked it up as a bad day. But the restaurant manager was simply arrogant and condescending, with no interest in an amicable settlement in the interests of the guests. The rest of the staff, who were very friendly and tried hard, were very uncomfortable with how things went and how we were ultimately treated and apologized several times. And yes, we waited 2 hours for our 3 medium steaks, because we could read that exactly on the order receipt. And the fact that all the steaks were medium-well is an understatement to say that it is absolutely disappointing, especially given the prices. By the way, many other guests also waited that long that day; we observed this and spoke to friends who also waited that long. If the weather is good on the weekend, you should employ more staff to avoid something like this. By the way, we don't need to be told that there are enough other restaurants in Rheine, because we wouldn't have come back anyway, because it simply couldn't be worse, which was confirmed by the lack of complaints management on site and here on Google.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Emskind and I have to say, from the moment I arrived to the last bite, everything was absolutely perfect. The service at Emskind was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Our waitress took the time to explain the different steak options and made excellent recommendations. The waiting times were minimal and we felt well looked after the entire time. Now to the most important part: the food. The steak at Emskind was without a doubt one of the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, with a wonderful crust. The quality of the meat was first class. The side dishes were just as impressive. The Emskind is a must for every steak lover. The combination of great food, first class service and pleasant ambience makes it a perfect place for special occasions or simply to treat yourself. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Actually a top shop. The burgers are amazing. Owner Frank is also a really good businessman. The waiter tried very hard, but the manager was slightly rude. We waited over 2 hours for our food. Although we asked regularly, Rumpstesk only works for 400 grams, otherwise it doesn't work in the contact grill (!!!). I complained about my steak (medium). It should be medium. Take a look at the pictures for yourself. When paying we also passed a reduced price, after some discussion, we got 30%, which is also valid legal practice. However, the restaurant manager told us that there are other restaurants in Rheine and that we (4 people) should go there. Make up your own mind.

Es regnete und stürmte an dem Tag. Blätter und Dreck im Eingangsbereich. Ich hätte mir gewünscht, daß der Flurbereich zwischendurch mal gefegt würde. So war das Hineinkommen schon etwas getrübt. Die Steaks waren vom Geschmack super, jedoch der Garpunkt war leider nicht an allen Stellen gleich. Das ist wahrscheinlich aber auch schwierig. Der Service war sehr bemüht um die Gäste, das war ein großer Pluspunkt. Alles in allem würden wir aber wiederkommen.

Wir waren gestern bei Emskind. Super Service. Steak und Pommes waren perfekt. Der vegan Burger war schonmal besser. Die Rezeptur wurde scheinbar verändert. Aber jedesmal wieder ein Besucht wert dieses Restaurant.

Just bake briefly in the oven then out on the table, no fat needed, no oil needed, the heat activates the flavors in the bread again, just compare one just cut off and one warmed up, the taste is worlds apart ;-) In the interior, the walls are a bit bare and so the noise increases as the number of guests increases, there are definitely no sound-absorbing elements. Given the prices, you could afford to take care of the parking lot. Unfortunately, the pothole road in front of the house isn't any better even 1 year later. Even in the third year everything was perfect, but this time I found the constant questioning whether everything was okay annoying... maybe one person should do that and not every waiter!

We received expert advice in advance at the deli counter on the different types of meat and recommendations for an appropriate amount for 3 people. Both the selection of meat and, in particular, the excellent quality made us satisfied, happy and full. We had a mix platter for 3 people with 3 different side dishes. Of course we didn't miss the opportunity to try out the desserts and what can I say - a culinary delight! The service staff were very friendly and we will definitely come back again. Leider wurde das Essen sehr zeitversetzt serviert. Die ersten waren schon fertig, als das weitere Essen serviert wurde. Auf das Dessert haben wir wiederum 30 min gewartet. Angeblich wäre an diesem Abend nur an unserem Tisch alles schiefgegangen, man wollte es wieder gut machen, ist aber nicht passiert. Die Lautstärke war unerträglich. Bis auf ein Dessert (schlicht ungenießbar, vermutlich wurde irgendwas auf die Schnelle zusammengebaut, weil wir uns schon über die lange Wartezeit beschwert haben) war das Essen von guter Qualität. Da die Speisen sehr hochpreisig sind und der Service ausbaubar, werden wir nicht mehr wiederkommen.

A very nice atmosphere. There are enough parking options. Menu is very clear and the food was very tasty. We were there on a Sunday, Mother's Day, and it was busy but not overcrowded. The service clearly needs to be worked on or more staff hired. There was only one condition, the poor thing was completely overwhelmed. My husband had to wait almost 20 minutes for his second drink, we actually wanted to leave and then the drink came. Otherwise everything was great. We would still visit the Emskind again.

The restaurant is beautifully located on the outskirts of Rheine. The parking options are very good. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice. The staff reception is friendly but not necessarily helpful. If you're there for the first time, it would have been nice to see how things work here. We just didn't understand the map. When we asked, we were told that you could choose the meat at the counter. The side dishes are ordered from the waiter. (Is waiter actually a protected job title?) The meat was very well prepared and of good quality. My companion had salmon. The recommendation of spinach with peanuts didn't fit at all. We would try again if we are in the area again.

Emskind is a restaurant where you can enjoy good food in a very cozy atmosphere. We ate steak and the doneness was perfect. Very tender meat and great taste too. Our waitress Emily did a great job and despite the full house we didn't wait long for drinks etc. Depending on what you choose, it may be expensive, but the quality is worth the price. Highly recommended for selected evenings.

We came on a Sunday lunchtime. For the starter we had tuna sashimi, which was of poor quality/freshness and later spoiled the mood with the otherwise quite good burgers/steaks.

Wir haben zwar den Tisch wechseln können und sind in einen „ruhigeren“ Bereich gekommen, aber ein schöner, entspannter Abend war es leider trotzdem nicht. Das Essen war lecker, obwohl das Fleisch leider nicht genau die richtige Garstufe hatte. Für den Preis hab ich tatsächlich mehr erwartet.

We were able to move the table to a “quieter” area, but there was hardly a nice, quiet atmosphere there either. The food was delicious, but unfortunately the cooking level didn't quite match what we wanted. For the price I absolutely expected more.

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt irgendwie nicht ganz zusammen. Ich meine 5,90 für Pommes die am Ende vermutlich doch nur aus der „Tiefkühle“ kommen finde ich persönlich schon recht hoch angesetzt. Dazu kam, dass die Pommes bei beiden echt zu stark gesalzen waren. Das war dementsprechend nicht so ganz genießbar. Der Burger den ich hatte war lecker und saftig, aber mittlerweile bekommt man ihn so auch fast überall. Dann hatten wir noch ein Rinderfilet für meine Frau (Duroc-Schwein gibt es ja nicht mehr). Wir hatten gesagt es soll durch sein, auch als die Bedienung nochmal nachfragte ob es wirklich durch sein sollten wiederholten wir „Ja bitte durch“, da meine Frau Fleisch nicht Blutig mag. Als das Essen dann kam und sie das Steak anschnitt, wurde recht schnell klar, dass es nicht durch gegart wurde sondern auf Medium gegart wurde. Hier wurde sich zum Wiederholten Mal über den Wunsch des Kunden hinweggesetzt. Genau das Problem hatten wir beim vorherigen Besuch auch. Meine Frau wollte es durch haben, bekam es Medium. Wir waren nun insgesamt 3 mal da, werden aber nicht wieder kommen. Bei allen 3 malen gab es immer Probleme. Wirklich Schade

I reserved our table very easily via the online site and was politely asked again by email the day before our visit whether the visit would take place. Of course we noticed him: The parking options here are very diverse. Only the entrance should be signposted a little more conspicuously, as one quickly tends to assume it is between the two buildings on the property. When you enter the restaurant, you are first met by a clean, well-arranged meat counter. A friendly lady led us to our table, where we were served very courteously. We were able to choose the meat or fish we wanted at the meat/fish counter ourselves after receiving detailed advice on the different types of meat and qualities. It's interesting to know how much choice and different qualities there are. As a starter we ordered warm, freshly baked bread with an extremely delicious dip. The main course served a little later was a pure taste experience. The steak served was grilled to perfection, soft as butter and really tasty. A side dish wasn't actually necessary, but we still ordered herb butter. Unfortunately, the salad with pomegranate dressing we ordered was not served because it was lost in the kitchen. - May occur ! The entire staff is young and extremely friendly, as well as technically experienced. The same can be said of the lady behind the meat counter, who was happy to answer all of our questions with a lot of patience and warmth. The rooms are designed without a lot of “bells and whistles”. Only a huge bull protrudes from a wall into the room, snorting. The "Emskind" restaurant is not a restaurant for "every day", but is ideal for exceptional, special occasions. We can highly recommend the “Emskind” and will be happy to come back.

Das "Emskind" ist ein t, extravagantes Restaurant, welches uns von Freunden empfohlen wurde. Schon die Online - Reservierung ist sehr einfach und unkompliziert. Schön ist, dass man einen Tag von dem gebuchten Termin noch einmal eine Erinnerung startet. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Ein Hinweis auf den Eingang zum Restaurant fehlt zwar, doch ist dieser leicht zu finden. Betritt man die Lokalitäten, befindet sich rechts eine übersichtliche, saubere Fleischtheke. Nach der Anmeldung bekommt man seinen reservierten Platz zugewiesen. Die Räumlichkeiten sind einfach dezent gehalten. Die Speisenkarte erweist sich als übersichtlich. Fleisch bzw. Fisch darf man sich an der Fleischtheke selbst aussuchen und bekommt auf Wunsch auch eine kleine "Qualitätslehre" die sehr interessant und fachlich kompetent abgehalten wird. Überhaupt ist das gesamte Personal ausgesprochen freundlich und fachlich sehr versiert. Auf unser Essen brauchten wir nicht sehr lange warten und wurden von einem außerordentlich guten Geschmack und bester Qualität des Fleisches überrascht. Auch die Burger, welche auf den Nachbartischen serviert wurden, sahen sehr appetitlich aus. Sicherlich ist das Restaurant " Emskind " nicht alltäglich, aber dafür einen Besuch auf jeden Fall wert ! Wir empfehlen sehr gerne und aus Überzeugung.

But that's also what bothers me: the tables are so close together that you can hardly move and you almost inevitably bump into the person behind you if you stand up for a moment. But otherwise absolutely recommended.

Das Essen war perfekt. Wir hatten Steak und Burger. Es schmeckte hervorragend. Der Preis war dafür auch angemessen. Der Beilagensalat war allerdings für 6,90€ sehr teurer. Hier stimmte das Preisleistungsverhältnis nicht. Der Salat hatte zudem braune Stellen. Wir waren aber sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.
